    The renovated and br...

    The renovated and bright Room was delightful, and the meals were especially excellent. The vegetable-focused dishes were healthy and flavorful. Having enzyme brown rice for breakfast was truly impressive. I would love to stay again if I have the chance.

    Wheelchair accessible, with adjustable bed positions for those with partial paralysis. Meals and bath facilities were excellent.

    I have stayed here several times.

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Although we arrived much later than planned, our stay was very comfortable. My father-in-law, who uses a wheelchair and hadn't had much appetite in recent days, happily finished his dinner, saying it was delicious. The staff's thoughtful care made our time truly enjoyable. We look forward to staying here again.

    Seasonal Hospitality

    A spacious Room with a stunning view, beautiful floral arrangements, and warm, friendly service—all created a truly relaxing atmosphere. However, the highlight was undoubtedly the dining experience. The dishes featured delicate and vibrant presentations inspired by the cherry blossom season and were crafted using an abundance of local ingredients. The discovery of rare ingredients, even for someone in their 60s, was a delightful surprise. I also cherished taking home the beautifully written menu by the head chef as a memorable keepsake. The handmade soba noodles prepared by the owner were exceptional! The glossy and fresh texture was so impressive that I even requested to have some sent to me after my stay. Everything was outstanding except for one minor point—the Room wear (samue) seemed slightly worn out and faded; perhaps it's time for replacement? That said, it was incredibly comfortable to wear. With everything else being so remarkable, this small detail stood out as slightly disappointing. I look forward to visiting again during the snowy season!

    A memorable stay!

    We stayed as a four-generation family trip to celebrate my mother-in-law and great-grandmother-in-law's birthdays. From the warm welcome, everyone was kind, the meals were delicious, and all the staff provided exceptional hospitality that left us deeply impressed. The hostess's service was outstanding, and my great-grandmother-in-law expressed her strong desire to visit again! Watching the soba-making process was a memorable experience, and it also left an impression on my son. Additionally, the children's meals were of high quality and truly impressive! The Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for our stay. We would love to visit again in another season. Thank you so much to everyone!

    Room Excellent

    The Room was excellent. The soba noodles for dinner were very delicious. However, it was disappointing that the staff who guided us to our table during dinner left without providing any explanation.

    The hospitality, food portions, and Onsen were particularly excellent.

    The Japanese staff provided excellent service with a warm smile, which was very impressive amidst many foreign workers. Their attentiveness and calm, soothing tone in fluent Japanese made the experience truly relaxing. Meals were enjoyed in a quiet atmosphere. It was refreshing to experience such natural hospitality, which allowed for a very relaxing stay. The meal portions were just right and delicious. The Onsen had the perfect temperature—not too hot—and left my skin feeling smooth. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Warm Ryokan

    The history and aging of the building are noticeable, but it is well-cleaned and has a sense of cleanliness. The strength of this Ryokan is its cuisine. The food was extremely wonderful and satisfying. Additionally, the staff's service was good, allowing for a pleasant stay. There were also creative touches everywhere, such as holding mini-concerts. Overall, it was a highly satisfying Ryokan.

    It was relaxing and leisurely, and dinner time was enjoyable!

    Since it was a weekday, I enjoyed the bath at a leisurely pace with a nice temperature. The meals were delicious for the price. During dinner, there was a mandolin performance, and even the owner joined in, making it an enjoyable time without interrupting the meal. I thought it was a Property worth visiting again after a long time. Thank you, everyone at Stays!

    It was truly wonderful hospitality.

    We were provided with a spacious room where everyone could stay together, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time. The food was visually delightful, beautiful, and tasted impeccable. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, many of which were served warm, and we appreciated the thoughtful attention to detail. The Onsen was very pleasant and we were extremely satisfied. However, due to coinciding with other guests, the washing area was occupied, and we couldn't rinse off while waiting, so we had to stand and wait for a spot to open up. Therefore, we rated it a 4. If there were more buckets than washing spots, we might have been able to rinse with the bathwater and wait while bathing. The staff's service was very pleasant, and we were particularly impressed by the earnestness of the young staff members. If given the opportunity, we would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Impressive Cuisine

    The Facility had a sense of history, but the warmth of the staff was excellent. Also, I think the food is wonderful. I was worried if it matched the cost performance. Both breakfast and dinner featured delicious local produce menus. For the first time in a while, I experienced the attentiveness of a Ryokan that is not a buffet.

    The view from the Room was nice.

    Although it is a traditional Ryokan, it has been renovated and is very clean, especially the dining area, which is private and newly refurbished, making it very pleasant. It's a pity that there is no Shuttle Service from Matsumoto for train travelers, but it's not too far by local bus, and on the way back, we were very grateful to be offered discounted bus tickets at the Property. Since it is a barrier-free Stays, I noticed many elderly guests, and while the meals were delicious, I thought it would be even better if there were options for smaller portions or lighter meat dishes. It was also nice to have milk, juice, and lactic acid drinks available for breakfast. The view from the Room was wonderful, and the bath in the Room offered a great view of the Matsumoto nightscape and the Alps, making it very pleasant. Being eco-friendly, the bath had a cover, but it was very heavy and dangerous, so it might be safer to have it opened at check-in.

    To OMF

    I stay at this property every year to attend OMF. It's helpful that dinner is prepared for us after returning from the concert. I guess it's understandable to feel a bit rushed. Although it's a bit old, overall it's a good and comfortable property. I will stay here again.

    We stayed here for two consecutive years.

    I thought it would be impossible to take my wheelchair-bound mother to a hot spring, but last year, I found Hotel Tamanoyu and we were able to stay there. We visited again this year. I was glad to see my mother looking happy and relaxed while soaking in the hot spring. The meals (including the soba) were delicious. The heartwarming flute and Irish harp concert also put us in a calm mood. This year, the proprietress was even more attentive and provided excellent service. Thank you for your careful responses to our inquiries and consultations in advance. We hope to visit again next year.
