    Great location—perfect for aviation enthusiasts.

A Hotel I’d always been curious about whenever I visited Umikaji Terrace. This was my first stay, and as expected, it’s conveniently located near the airport. Since it’s not a large Hotel, even during the summer vacation period it didn’t feel overly crowded, and I had a comfortable stay. The Onsen isn’t very large, and because it’s also open to day visitors, I did notice some crowding there—though it was quiet in the morning. As an aviation fan, I enjoyed watching planes take off from the terrace. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again if I have the chance.

The Onsen and the meals were excellent.

We stayed for two nights to explore around Naha City. It was convenient to take the bus from the stop right in front of the Hotel to the outlet mall and Kokusai-dori. On the first day, we had dinner at the Hotel; the sirloin steak was tender, and everything was delicious, including the appetizers and dessert. On the second day, we went to the Italian restaurant next door; it had a beautiful sunset view, high-quality food, and a wonderful atmosphere. There is a spacious Onsen, and it was very relaxing to soak in it after getting tired from playing in the pool with our child.

    A Relaxing Retreat in Okinawa

We stayed on a Plan with lounge access. The Onsen was very satisfying, and the breakfast buffet was also reasonably good. The guest room was clean and well equipped with amenities. I noticed a small tear in the hallway carpet, but the location is excellent, and overall I think it’s a wonderful Hotel.

    The Onsen is amazing.

It was great that the property is close to the airport and that I could use the Onsen multiple times. Also, even though I checked in late, the service was quick, polite, and friendly! If I had to mention one thing, I would appreciate help moving my suitcase during check-in/check-out.

    Resort vibes near Naha

Considering the typhoon, we decided to stay here. We have stayed many times, and as always, the service, the Onsen, and the view were all wonderful—this is a lovely Hotel. Since I enjoy drinking, I may have already been quite tipsy in the lounge again, but you still welcomed me with a smile as always. We will be back again.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.

It had been a while since my last stay at Senagajima Hotel, and once again I was reminded that the hospitality here is exceptional in every detail. I was truly moved all over again. All of the staff (including the body care team) were wonderful, and I felt genuinely relaxed and refreshed. I hope to stay with you more often going forward, and I appreciate your continued support. Senagajima Hotel is paradise for me (laugh).

This was my first time staying here! Having an Onsen in the guest room was incredibly relaxing. The amenities were plentiful, and it was a very comfortable Hotel!! I’ll be back again next year!

    Well-maintained.

I have stayed here many times, and everything is well managed. The Room is clean, and there is a good supply of bottled water. The size was more than sufficient. However, when I asked for a taxi this time, the response was disappointing. I would like them not to give vague or inaccurate information.

    The staff member who...

The staff member who handled my check-in at night was unbelievably grumpy, and the service was terrible. The Onsen in the Room barely produced any hot water, so I called to ask about it. The same staff member answered and, in an irritated tone, said, “Shall I come over then?” I was shocked that someone could have such an attitude. On the other hand, the male staff member who came to help was very courteous. The front desk staff in the morning also greeted me with a smile and said thank you; it was normal service, but after how bad things were at night, it felt much better by comparison. The Room was small and not well cleaned, so I don’t think I would stay again. The view from the breakfast venue was nice—the ocean looked beautiful and we could also see airplanes.

    Enjoyed an Onsen in Okinawa

I stayed in an airport-view Room with a private Onsen bath. I’ve visited Okinawa many times, but this was my first time at a Hotel where natural hot spring water flows abundantly right into the Room, and the mineral content was quite salty and seemed very good for the skin. There is also a large public bath on-site that guests can use freely, but since it is also open to day visitors, I chose not to use it this time. I intentionally chose the airport view, but since I’m not particularly interested in airplanes, I plan to choose the opposite side next time. The Room felt a bit dated, and cleanliness was somewhat lacking. After leaving the Hotel and walking a short distance to the coast, there were various restaurants and souvenir shops, so it felt like you could enjoy eating while strolling without needing to book meals at the Hotel. The Hotel’s breakfast buffet was international-style, and everything was delicious. Also, since both the airport and GS are nearby, returning a rental car was very easy. I think it’s a valuable Accommodation for spending your last night in Okinawa soaking in an Onsen to relieve fatigue and heading home comfortably the next day.

    It was amazing!

This was my second stay, and I chose a Room with a private open-air bath. The Room was clean and comfortable! It also has an Onsen, and it was great that it was easy to get to right away! Thank you for taking care of us! If I had to mention one thing, I think it would be more convenient to have a regular mirror by the sink instead of a vanity mirror.

The most convenient Hotel near Naha Airport

Its great convenience—about a 10-minute drive from Naha Airport—has made this my go-to Hotel around the airport area, and this time I stayed in an Anji room as an upgrade. The Anji room comes with an excellent selection of skincare amenities. I also appreciated the two-piece loungewear (separate top and bottom), which makes it easy to relax after the Onsen or when going to bed. The private open-air bath with natural hot spring water in the room was as wonderful as ever, and being able to enjoy the Onsen anytime while avoiding crowds at the large public bath is truly what makes this Hotel special. Breakfast has changed from the previous format to a buffet style, but there is still a solid selection of Okinawan local dishes, so you can enjoy regional flavors from the morning. “Umikaji Terrace,” just a one-minute walk away, has plenty of restaurants, so you won’t have trouble finding places to eat during your stay. If you want a quiet and comfortable stay, I highly recommend choosing a room with a “private open-air bath with natural hot spring water.”

All staff members are friendly and welcoming with warm smiles.

I stayed on the day of my arrival. I was tired as it was already evening, but the warm smile of the staff who welcomed me made me feel refreshed. The breakfast was delicious as well, with a fun selection including crushed brown sugar. The dining area wasn’t very large, but it seemed like you wouldn’t get bored even on a Multiple Night Stay. The next day I didn’t have much time and checked out right after breakfast, so I couldn’t fully enjoy my stay, but I’d love to come back again when I can take things more slowly.

Sunsets, the airport, open-air hot springs, and a resort!

I stayed for three nights. Because the airport is nearby, many guests may stay for just one night on arrival or departure, but I felt this Hotel is wonderful enough to be a destination in itself. The lobby has a pleasant citrus scent. From the Room, you can watch planes taking off and never get bored, and having a continuously flowing open-air bath on the balcony adds to the resort feel. At the public Onsen Facility, there are sauna “heat wave” events, body scrubs, and massages, and best of all, you can see arriving flights on the runway from the standing bath, so you could stay there forever... I only used breakfast for one day, but I was very satisfied with a compact selection of Okinawan specialties such as sea grapes, island pork sausage, jimami tofu (peanut tofu), and shabu-shabu with local island herbs. I’d love to visit again to relax in Okinawa and watch the planes. Thank you as well for your kind consideration toward my family member who uses a wheelchair—it was greatly appreciated.

A Hotel in a prime location near the airport

The large public bath on the first floor was extremely crowded because it is also used by non-staying guests, so I couldn’t really relax. However, the open-air-style bath in the Room was very comfortable! Breakfast was delicious and great. We stayed three people in one Room; besides the beds, they laid out futons on the tatami, but it left me a bit sore.

I have used this place every year, but this time was disappointing...

This was a repeat stay, but perhaps due to the busy period, the staff's service felt a bit careless, leaving us dissatisfied with the hospitality. We were slightly looking forward to the breakfast buffet, but for three days it was almost the same menu every day, which honestly became tiresome. I believe others might feel the same way—if so, the previous breakfast set was better. It would be great if about half of it could be varied. My spouse and I have decided to opt for a no-meal Plan next time. Additionally, on a day when we wanted to return to our Room early, cleaning wasn't finished until 3 PM and we had to wait outside, which was also disappointing.

    Onsen sauna is the best!

I stayed at the Ryukyu Senagajima Onsen Hotel, a place I had always wanted to visit. As an onsen enthusiast who has traveled across the whole country, I found that Okinawa has relatively few authentic onsen facilities, so I was excited to try this hotel for the first time. The baths are spacious with multiple types to enjoy, but my favorite was the standing bath where you can admire views of the sea and runway—it was incredibly relaxing. The sauna options include a salt mist sauna and a dry sauna with löyly, along with a deep and wide cold bath that allowed me to fully unwind after a long time! I also took advantage of the discounted body scrub and oil massage service for guests, which left my skin feeling smooth and deeply relaxed. This onsen is open from 6 AM until midnight, allowing you to soak in its warmth all day long. After refreshing myself in the sauna, I enjoyed walking leisurely by the sea while sipping beer at Umikaji Terrace—it was absolutely perfect! I'll definitely be back!

    Disappointing

After nearly a year since my last visit, I noticed significant changes due to the recent inbound over-tourism. The check-in process was extremely crowded, and I had to handle my own luggage loading and unloading due to staff shortages, which led to a noticeable decline in service quality. Additionally, the Japanese-style breakfast set that I had been looking forward to was changed without any prior announcement in August into a standard buffet commonly found elsewhere, which was deeply disappointing. The excitement for breakfast turned into great disappointment, and the large number of noisy guests made it difficult to relax and enjoy my stay peacefully. It was also unfortunate that almost all of the staff from before had been replaced.

    Great location for aviation enthusiasts.

Stayed in an Airport View Room again this time. The location is so captivating that you lose track of time while soaking in the bath or gazing at the airport from the balcony. It's also great that you can take photos without worrying about rain. Breakfast has changed to a buffet starting from this stay, but I preferred the previous three-tiered bento box style. Personally, it didn’t suit my taste, and I think the hot menu needs some reconsideration. I always opted for breakfast included, but now I'm thinking it might be better to go without meals next time.

The room was inconveniently designed, making me question the layout. The steps inside the room made it worrisome to move around at night when going to the bathroom while trying not to disturb others. Although described as an open-air bath, it was more of a semi-open-air bath, and I couldn't get used to the seawater Onsen. Breakfast had a wide variety and was satisfying.

    Unfortunately!

I booked an airport view room to see airplanes, but due to the wind direction, I couldn't see much from the room, which was disappointing. It can't be helped. However, the room was clean and the breakfast was delicious. I used the lounge but was tired and returned to my room after just one beer, so it was a shame I couldn't fully enjoy it. I'm considering coming back next year for a second chance!

Friendly service, well-maintained and clean Room, quiet and relaxing. It would be nice to have juicy dishes and natto at the breakfast buffet. I had an airport view this time, but next time I’d like to stay in an ocean-view Room. Thank you very much!

    Hotel close to the airport

For the final day of our long-awaited trip to Okinawa, we chose a lovely Hotel near Naha Airport with an Onsen. The Hotel is still new, the Room was clean, and although the Onsen was crowded, it didn’t feel overwhelming. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant but included breakfast with our stay. I used to think Okinawan cuisine tasted the same everywhere, but the food here was completely different—stylish, incredibly delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were all very pleasant and made our stay truly satisfying. I would love to stay here again. Oh, and we could watch planes taking off from the airport as much as we wanted!

    Great hospitality

While enjoying an Orion Beer as a welcome drink in the lobby, we were informed that our Room was ready. When we asked, "Is it okay if we continue drinking our beer?" the female staff member smiled and said, "Of course!" while carrying our luggage on a cart. Her wonderful smile made us even more excited. Thank you for the lovely service!

    Healing Accommodation

At the end of summer, I took a two-night trip with my daughter for an adult summer getaway. It seemed to be a quiet time with fewer families and more adults around. Initially, I thought Okinawa might be too harsh for my tired body, but simply gazing at the breathtaking sunset sinking into the horizon from our Room while feeling the breeze and resting repeatedly rejuvenated me. The staff's warm hospitality and perfect balance of attentiveness made me want to return again. If I may add, while the private open-air bath in our Room was wonderful, the public bath felt less relaxing than expected due to differing impressions. The meals were all meticulously prepared and delicious; however, it was the simple miso soup that brought comfort with its delightful taste. One minor suggestion would be to remove the shrimp veins before serving them at breakfast. Other than that small detail, there’s nothing negative worth mentioning. It was a wonderful trip where I could spend quality time with my daughter after so long—thank you very much!

I decided to try it because of its high ratings.

The price was reasonable, so I decided to give it a try. The meals were average, and the service was underwhelming. The staff's attitude left me speechless in a negative way. Watching planes take off and land up close was impressive, but I don't think I'll visit again.

    I will definitely come again.

We stayed for two nights this time. As always, it was just my mother and me. We stayed in our favorite airport view Room. On the first night, my mother enjoyed watching planes until the last flight arrived, as usual. During our stay, we were reminded of how all the staff members who assisted us were always so polite and full of smiles. It was especially heartwarming when a female staff member we hadn’t seen in a while remembered us and greeted us warmly—it made us so happy! She is one of our favorite staff members at the Hotel. Although my mother has been given a terminal diagnosis, she seemed incredibly energetic during our stay at Senagajima Hotel—it felt almost unbelievable! She keeps saying she absolutely wants to come back again soon, and we definitely will return. Thank you very much for keeping our Room spotlessly clean with such care. During dinner on both nights, although different staff members attended to us each evening, they were all kind and provided excellent service—thank you so much for that as well!

    Relaxing Okinawa Trip

Stayed for one night and two days. Arrived at the airport in the early afternoon, spent some time there, and then checked in. The Plan included lounge access, which I used several times. Since it was a dinner-excluded Plan, I had dinner at Umikaji Terrace. The view from the standing bath in the attached large public bath was great. It was also convenient that I could use the large public bath without bringing anything. The open-air bath in the Room was also wonderful. For breakfast, I enjoyed a variety of dishes in small portions—it was delicious!
