    You’ll want to come back again.

    It was a Hotel that was easy to reach from Osaka Station without getting lost. The large public bath and sauna were clean, and I was able to relax a lot. Three of us stayed (a group of women), but unfortunately the cute yukata in the Room were only available in one M size and one 1L size, so only one person could wear one. I probably should have requested more. The large public bath had skincare items such as cleansing products, but I would have liked them in the Room as well—again, something I probably should have requested. The room service menu had a great variety and everything was delicious. The view wasn’t great, but it’s a Hotel I’d be happy to visit again.

    It was a very nice Hotel and comfortable. It was a shame there was no cold plunge pool for the sauna.

    We stayed on the Club Floor this time. All the staff were very friendly, and both the Room and the large public bath were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We would love to stay again.

    Club Floor Stay

    This was our first stay at InterContinental Osaka, recommended by my son. The service from the doormen, front desk, Club Floor team, and spa staff was outstanding, making it a truly comfortable and satisfying one-night stay. We have decided to stay here whenever we visit Osaka.

    Is it only new?

    I was looking forward to using the pool at my daughter’s request and enjoying a relaxing “staycation,” but the experience ended up being a mix of good and unpleasant. The Club Lounge staff were very courteous. We drink TWG at home as well, so I appreciated that it was served for us rather than self-service. The problem was the pool. The locker area is only about 6–7 m², with just a toilet, three tall lockers, shelves for towels and bathrobes, and a hair dryer. After changing, you have to walk all the way to the back of the poolside area to use the shower. The overhead shower near the entrance was not working. It felt like we had the place to ourselves—no one else around except staff occasionally coming in and out of their room—until about 40 minutes later, when two families came in together with fathers bringing boys under 3 years old. The boys were not wearing swim diapers under their swimsuits. After a while one of them got out of the pool, pulled his swimsuit down himself to his crotch level, and his parent poured pool water over him from above—I assumed he had urinated. I told my daughter and we got out once, but there are no showers in the locker area. Also, it said that after 5:00 p.m., guests under 16 are not allowed to use the bath area, so we couldn’t go in. We were cold in the end; we used only the poolside shower and kept as much distance as possible from those two families while warming up in the pool before leaving. Despite these conditions, there is even a “members-only lane,” which means there are members—this really surprised me. We used to be members at a local Hotel pool ourselves, but I have never seen such poor management at any Hotel pool. There was no age restriction stated in their pool policy either—it should have been handled properly on an individual basis. I felt so uncomfortable that I ordered dinner via Room service but couldn’t finish it. Later someone called our Room asking if anything had been wrong; I didn’t explain and lied that I was just full. The next day on the 20th floor, I asked a male staff member at a desk how to get to Kuchu Teien Observatory (the Floating Garden Observatory), and he started working on his computer without saying anything. After waiting with no response, I asked whether taking a taxi or walking would be faster; he said taxi. At least tell me what you’re checking. When I asked another staff member after getting off an elevator nearby with exactly same question again , they started looking at their phone too. That was enough—I asked our taxi driver instead. In the end we took a taxi going there anyway . Considering this observatory has been around for over 20 years and this Hotel is right nearby , it’s disappointing that they can’t even give directions . Once we rode in taxi , i understood geography roughly . The Room also seemed designed mainly for overseas guests , making it inconvenient . At checkout , i told an international staff member on 20th floor about what happened at swimming Pool . It did help somewhat that they responded properly by taking notes etc., but i won’t stay here again .

    It’s been a while since my last stay at the InterContinental Hotel Osaka!!!

    For the past couple of years, I haven’t been feeling well and wasn’t able to visit any Hotel, but while browsing IKYU, InterContinental Hotel Osaka caught my eye. I suddenly thought, “It’s been a long time since I last stayed there,” and as my health has been gradually improving, I decided to make a Reservation. While the front desk was processing my check-in, I was told, “This is your 26th stay.” That made me realize just how many times I’ve visited. Once again, it reminded me that InterContinental Hotel Osaka is a comfortable and relaxing place for me. I will be back again, and I look forward to seeing you then. It’s given me something new to look forward to. Thank you very much to everyone who took care of me during this stay.

    It was excellent.

    My wife wanted a “staycation” at the InterContinental, and we had a wonderful time. We enjoyed the afternoon, evening, and morning offerings, and everything felt perfectly seasonal—we were very satisfied. My wife even had sparkling wine in the morning (laughs). It was exactly what we hoped for, and we had an amazing, fulfilling staycation. We’re planning to come again around June. *The gym also has dumbbells up to 40 kg, so I was able to get in a solid morning workout.*

    2 Single Premium with Club Lounge Access and City View (Twin). The room is filled with natural sunlight, featuring a spacious bathroom and two beds larger than standard single size. The highlight is the evening champagne & cocktail service at the Club Lounge. However, the lack of variety in appetizers was disappointing. Conversations with the staff were enjoyable, making me look forward to visiting again.

    The signature Aftern...

    The signature Afternoon Tea here seems to have become lighter in volume compared to before, but the selection is still excellent and delicious. However, the pairing with the TWG Earl Grey I ordered was not ideal (perhaps due to too much water or the tea itself not being flavorful), leaving me somewhat unsatisfied. The hotel's original tea served at breakfast was delightful, and I wish I had chosen it for Afternoon Tea as well. During this stay, I noticed that this hotel does not provide a hairbrush as part of its amenities—only a comb is available. This made me wonder if they are catering primarily to international tourists. Speaking of which, there are no pajamas provided; instead, yukata robes are offered even though this is not an Onsen accommodation. This also seems targeted toward foreign guests and makes sense in that context. While it’s true that many international guests stay here, I hope more consideration can be given to Japanese guests as well. That said, the service remains impeccable as always—I am grateful for all the assistance provided by a young male staff member during my stay. Lastly, I want to mention how exceptional the café latte prepared by a polite and soft-spoken male staff member who has been here for some time continues to be—it’s absolutely superb!

    Every moment at the Hotel is filled with relaxation and fulfillment. I especially love spending time in the lounge. All the staff are wonderful. This time, I regret not being able to enjoy the evening lounge hours and use the pool due to my schedule—what a pity! Next time, I plan to spend my entire stay fully immersed in the Hotel experience.     The high expectations made the shortcomings more disappointing.

    I booked this accommodation for a special New Year's stay. While I appreciated the staff's courteous service and efforts, there were some areas where improvement is needed. Check-in Process Although I was directed to check in at the Club Lounge, it was changed to the 20th-floor front desk due to congestion. There was no assistance with luggage or explanation about the room and club floor, which felt lacking for a hotel of this class. Waiting Time at the Club Lounge I looked forward to afternoon tea but had to wait 45 minutes from being seated until it was served. After about 30 minutes, I was informed that delays were due to unexpected order volumes. If prior notice or alternative options had been provided, it would have been more reassuring while waiting. However, I appreciate that my lounge usage time on the following day was extended as compensation. Room Facilities The bidet in my room only dispensed cold water and could not be repaired, so I had to change rooms. Surprisingly, the same issue occurred in the new room as well. While this reflected a facility shortcoming on their part, I am grateful for their gesture of extending my check-out time. Security Concerns A paper bag with belongings left outside one guestroom remained unattended from evening until morning during my stay. Even though staff passed by during my room transfer process, no action seemed to have been taken regarding this matter—raising slight concerns over security measures. Overall Impression While any issues encountered were addressed by attentive and sincere staff members—which is commendable—the gap between expected service levels based on its brand and price range left something wanting. Operational improvements are anticipated moving forward.

    Everything is excellent.

    I stay at luxury accommodations several times a year to enjoy fitness, spa, and dining. While many hotels have opened in Umeda, this is the only place where I can truly relax. Especially the one-night, two-day stay starting with check-in on the 28th floor offers a quiet and peaceful experience. Other accommodations tend to be noisy due to foreign tourists or families staying for free using points, making it hard to relax. I personally love InterContinental Hotel.

    I finally got to enjoy the overwhelming quality of a truly top-tier stay I’d been dreaming of.\nThis time I stayed in the 2 Single Premium City View.\nThe Room was spacious and refined, with a luxurious feel in every detail—lighting, materials, and layout—and the level of finish really lived up to what you’d expect from InterContinental.\nThe bathroom area was also lavish and very stylish. However, the bathtub area is quite exposed with so much glass that it could be a bit awkward for a family trip.\nService was extremely attentive, the staff were polished, and I felt a high level of hospitality—they naturally stepped in to help exactly when needed.\nThe price is on the higher side, but even compared with other top-tier Hotels in the same price range, overall satisfaction with the stay was exceptionally high.\nAmid the recent rush to build luxury Hotels ahead of Expo 2025 Osaka, I could clearly understand why this Hotel has been able to maintain top-level pricing.

    The Iconic Grand Front

    It was excellent. Both the service and the Facility were wonderful. However, wouldn't instrumental music be better for the background music inside the building? There was an incident where a foreign guest entered the large public bath with shoes on. This might be partly due to the lack of any signs indicating that shoes are prohibited. Other than that, it was very good. I would definitely like to come back again!

    An elegant stay with a convenient lounge.

    This Hotel offers an even higher level of luxury than the typical image of an InterContinental Hotel. Being a relatively new spot, the shops inside are stylish, making the stay enjoyable. However, compared to other hotels in the same class, the Room amenities were somewhat lacking, possibly due to environmental considerations. There were no special cosmetics for women or items that you’d want to take home. Additionally, while it’s common for hotels in this class to offer complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, here they charge for them—and at prices so unreasonable compared to retail that I didn’t bother drinking any. It would be nice if the Room furnishings had a bit more of a luxurious feel.

    Perfect for special occasions.

    We stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday and our wedding anniversary. This was our second stay following last year, and we were able to enjoy a wonderful anniversary thanks to the excellent service. At check-in, we were kindly guided to the club floor a bit earlier, where we enjoyed delicious afternoon tea. The Room was spacious and clean, but above all, the meals were absolutely delightful. The staff provided smart and exceptional service. We would love to stay here again in the future. Thank you very much!

    I would love to stay again.

    From arrival to departure, the service was excellent and very pleasant. The staff, mostly young, were efficient and coordinated well, such as when retrieving our luggage from the front desk and bell desk. This left a great impression. We had dinner at Pierre within the hotel, which was absolutely delicious. It’s a restaurant I would recommend for French cuisine in Osaka. I also used the public bath, which was clean and well-maintained with staff regularly checking in, making it a safe and comfortable experience. However, I deducted one star for breakfast in my review because it wasn’t very enjoyable for me personally. Items like omelets, grilled fish, and soup dumplings were overcooked and too hard to enjoy properly. One point of improvement would be regarding elevator usage within the facility. On two occasions, overseas guests entered without waiting for others to exit first—sometimes quite forcefully—which could pose a danger if they collided with children or elderly guests. While this may be challenging to address fully, having staff near elevators on the lobby floor could help ensure smoother boarding. Overall though, I look forward to staying here again!

    It was a very lovely Hotel.

    Stayed in a room with access to the club lounge. This trip included hopping between Conrad Osaka (with Executive Lounge), Patina Osaka, InterContinental Osaka, and Six Senses Kyoto. Among them, the staff at InterContinental Osaka provided exceptionally high-level and outstanding service. Both the afternoon tea time and cocktail time offered great food and drinks, allowing for a wonderful experience. I look forward to visiting again!

    I was drawn to the p...

    I was drawn to the photos of the rooms, which looked bright and filled with light, with beautiful interior design and colors that seemed perfect for a comfortable stay, so I made a Reservation. However, in reality, the lighting was dim, and there was a large beam near the window that made it smaller and blocked natural light, leaving the room quite dark. The ceiling light at the foot of the bed seemed to have a burnt-out bulb, so I asked Hotel staff to check it. They explained apologetically: "This is an emergency light for power outages. Even at full brightness, this is as bright as it gets." It wasn’t atmospheric lighting but rather uniformly dim throughout. Adjustable lighting fixtures would have been better. For meals, I used the buffet for both dinner and breakfast. The taste was average but there were plenty of options available. The buffet counters were neatly arranged for visual enjoyment as well. The bar and café on the first floor were also nice.

    I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

    The Club Lounge, gym, and large public bath were all very comfortable. Two years ago, I borrowed a rotating hair dryer during my stay, and this time, to my surprise, it was already placed in the Room without me even requesting it! I believe they kept the data from my previous visit. I was deeply impressed by their excellent service and attention to detail. I look forward to visiting again soon!

    I booked the Club InterContinental Plan. Staying on the exclusive 28th-floor area was fantastic, as I could complete everything from check-in to enjoying afternoon tea, light alcoholic drinks after meals, and breakfast. It was very relaxing to spend time calmly without encountering many other guests. The room was spotlessly clean with no issues at all. Additionally, the Japanese-style large public bath was exceptional. It's rare to find a Hotel with such a spacious bathhouse, and what made it even more remarkable was how clean not only the changing area but also the washing stations and bathtubs were. Although large-scale Hotels are being built one after another around Umeda, I felt this is an exceptionally clean Hotel like no other. Thank you for providing such a high-quality experience and space!

    We provided a safe and comfortable stay for both mother and daughter.

    After visiting the Expo with her daughter, my mother stayed at your accommodation and was very pleased. I believe this is because of the excellent care provided. I have also stayed here several times and think it is the best hotel near Osaka Station. While the price is not cheap, I highly recommend this hotel for those who want a reliable stay without any mistakes. I look forward to staying again next time!

    I stayed at the InterContinental Hotel Osaka with an IKYU.com special plan that included lounge access. Before COVID-19, I often stayed at The Ritz-Carlton with my daughter, using rooms with lounge access during trips for concerts at Festival Hall or sightseeing in Kyoto. While I was satisfied with The Ritz-Carlton, I had been aware of the InterContinental but never had the chance to stay there until now. After my daughter became independent, our last trip together was a stay at The Palace Hotel Tokyo, and since then, I've been traveling solo. This time, I arrived at the InterContinental via limousine bus from Itami Airport and got off in front of New Hankyu Hotel. Although I could see the high-rise building's logo from afar, I couldn't figure out how to get to the hotel and ended up calling for directions. A kind operator guided me over the phone as I arrived drenched in sweat. I was escorted to the lounge where check-in took place while enjoying a moment of relaxation. Since it was afternoon tea time, a three-tiered tray of food was served—a nostalgic experience after quite some time. Previously at hotels of this class, each item would be explained individually by staff; however, this time only a printed explanation sheet was provided. The food offered—such as savory items—was elaborate and deliciously prepared. After receiving my room key card without any further guidance or escorting service from staff members (to which one even jokingly asked if I'd find my way), it left me surprised. Being an international hotel chain likely explains their approach where guests are expected to navigate their rooms independently without much assistance—a stark contrast compared to recent stays within Japanese accommodations that emphasize personalized service. The room itself felt spacious featuring amenities like work desks paired alongside leather recliner chairs plus high-quality bedding atop green carpets beneath bedsides adding charm overall ambiance-wise! Having seating arrangements inside bathrooms proved helpful too though missing essentials such as facial lotions among toiletries meant bringing personal supplies came handy instead thankfully! Views overlooking gardens were obstructed partially due nearby skyscrapers blocking direct sightlines requiring angled perspectives catching glimpses nighttime scenery otherwise limited unfortunately despite automatic lighting activating closets upon entry impressively functional nonetheless! Later heading back towards lounges aiming unwind cocktail hours relaxing atmosphere initially greeted beverages alone absent explanations regarding available food sections tucked away corners beyond visible ranges seated areas prompting self-exploration discovering options eventually amidst inattentive distracted personnel preoccupied elsewhere tasks leaving impression mismatched expectations between premium-grade offerings versus guest-oriented attentiveness particularly concerning domestic clientele preferences ultimately disappointing experiences overall
