    There is no large communal Onsen bath.

    I stayed one night with my dog with breakfast included. I love visiting Onsen and travel all over the country looking for places that allow dogs. Although the website did not show any maintenance notice, I was told on arrival that the spa was unavailable, which was very disappointing—especially after coming all the way into the mountains. They recommended a nearby Onsen (apparently with Shuttle Service), but the bathing fee of 500 yen per person had to be paid by guests. It’s unacceptable to charge guests when it’s unavailable due to an issue on the Accommodation side. The IKYU site also hadn’t been updated, even though there is no fitness Facility in the building. Also, I would like them to clean the balcony of our Room as well. The staff provided pleasant service, and breakfast was the best I’ve had so far. The location is great, right in front of Kajitorizaki.

    We were able to relax and enjoy our stay with our pet.

    I stayed here on vacation with my dog. We were guided in through the back entrance, which helped us avoid running into other guests’ dogs and made our stay comfortable. I missed booking meals, but for dinner we were able to try whale dishes at a local restaurant in town. There are many sightseeing spots nearby, so it’s a great place not only to relax but also as a convenient base for driving out and exploring.

    We were very satisfied with our Multiple Night Stay with our dog. The excellent hospitality and wonderful cuisine were truly enjoyable! If we have another opportunity, we might join the fasting program next time. But the food is so delicious, it's a tough choice (tears).

    Unfortunately!

    I stayed for a multiple night stay. The meals were all handmade Japanese cuisine and very delicious. However, the facility was disappointing. The building felt like a cheaply constructed employee dormitory. The garden was overgrown and neglected, with no maintenance for years! Despite being a resort facility, the bathing facility was unavailable under the pretext of maintenance. Other guests also mentioned being unable to use the bathing facility due to maintenance. Has anyone ever been able to use the bathing facility at this hotel? The facility description should clearly state that the bathing facility exists but is not available for use. To make matters worse, the hotel suggested using nearby public baths, but the cost of these baths was not covered by the hotel and had to be paid by the guests. Since the unavailability of the bathing facility is due to the hotel's circumstances, shouldn't the hotel cover the cost of the public baths? A hotel with only three weekend guests—please consider carefully before making a reservation.

    Despite the unfortunate rain, the service from arrival was excellent, and our child was extremely satisfied. They didn’t want to leave, so we look forward to visiting again.

    We would like to express our gratitude to the chef who prepared delicious meals and the restaurant staff for their attentive service. Additionally, we are thankful to the kind gentleman who provided shuttle service to the public bath. However, as this trip was intended for walking along Kumano Kodo and enjoying Onsen, we were disappointed. While it was explained that there was no spa, we never expected that Onsen itself would be unavailable. At first, when our car arrived at the hotel, there was no one to greet us. Even after ringing the bell at reception, it took a while for someone to respond, which left us confused. We were looking forward to seeing a beautiful sunset as advertised; however, since it required a 20-minute walk each way and took too much time overall, we gave up on it. Considering that Onsen wasn't available either during our stay here, having a shuttle service to a sunset viewing spot would have been appreciated. At the public bath we visited instead of an Onsen facility within the hotel premises itself—we were told payment was required upon arrival which caused confusion because all they handed over at check-in earlier had been just bags containing bath towels without further clarification regarding additional costs involved elsewhere outside their property boundaries beforehand! When speaking directly over phone calls later-on with someone claiming themselves being responsible managing operations running said external bathing establishment nearby—they mentioned changes happened recently affecting contractual agreements between both parties involved historically prior under different ownership structures altogether now currently existing today instead unfortunately leading towards misunderstandings arising unexpectedly during interactions taking place throughout entire process overall leaving guests feeling frustrated unnecessarily due lack proper communication channels established upfront addressing concerns raised timely manner effectively resolving issues amicably avoiding escalations altogether ideally beforehand proactively preventing situations escalating beyond control ultimately negatively impacting guest experiences adversely affecting reputational standing long-term sustainability goals achieving desired outcomes mutually beneficially aligned interests shared collectively amongst stakeholders invested ensuring success future endeavors moving forward positively contributing growth development industry sector globally recognized standards excellence upheld consistently delivering exceptional value propositions exceeding expectations delighting customers repeatedly fostering loyalty trust relationships built strong foundations     It was a quiet Stays where you can be healed by nature.

    I wanted to receive therapy at this property located on a hill, but unfortunately, I couldn't this time. However, I was able to enjoy the great outdoors. The staff kindly informed me of a perfect spot to view the sunset, which I visited, and I was also able to see the sunrise from a nearby lighthouse (there were hardly any people). At night, the spa was more spacious and beautiful than I expected, and I was able to relax while gazing at the night sky from the open-air bath. When I requested a pick-up from the train, they kindly stopped by a fishing supermarket as there were no beverage sales within the facility. I would appreciate it if drinks and snacks could be provided. Next time, I would like to have a meal while looking at the sea.

    I was able to refresh!

    I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days with the Fasting Plan. I was able to relax in the great outdoors and felt very refreshed. The staff were very kind and made me feel refreshed. It was a wonderful space that made me genuinely want to visit again. The spa in the facility was under repair, so they provided Shuttle Service to a nearby day-use hot spring. The hot spring was very good, so I was satisfied. The fasting soups and other items were also very delicious. Next time, I would like to come with a meal-included Plan! Thank you very much.
