Enjoy your stay with 3 families! A very pleasant and modern Japanese-style accommodation.
Thank you for hosting our stay with three families. - Facility and Atmosphere The entire accommodation featured a stylish Japanese-modern interior, creating a comfortable space. What we loved the most was the view of the small harbor right outside the room's window. Its nostalgic atmosphere was truly soothing, making our stay wonderful. Additionally, we appreciated how well-maintained the indoor temperature and humidity were for comfort. - Service and Amenities The skincare products provided as room amenities were of excellent quality and highly praised by everyone in our group. The welcome drinks at check-in were also impressive, offering not only various soft drinks but even beer, which pleasantly surprised us. - Special Thoughtfulness One of our companions had a birthday during our stay, and we were touched by how thoughtfully the staff called us beforehand to discuss details about cakes and celebratory items with care and precision. Furthermore, without any prior request from us, they prepared commemorative photos for all three families—an incredibly kind gesture that left us humbled. - Meals Both breakfast and dinner exceeded expectations in terms of taste and presentation. It was the best solo trip.
I stayed here during my second trimester as a last solo trip before giving birth. I was looking for a place in Chiba Prefecture where I could relax alone, with a private open-air bath, delicious food, and a spa. Although I have visited Kamogawa many times since childhood, this was the best accommodation I have ever stayed at. The hotel had a pleasant and relaxing scent inside, and I loved the calm and quiet atmosphere. The staff's hospitality was exceptional. Spending time at the spa surrounded by the sounds of nature away from the hustle and bustle of the city was truly wonderful. The limited-time service with spa wear was also delightful. Meals were served in private rooms where I could relax without worrying about others' eyes, and they were incredibly delicious. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration regarding meals and caffeine even before my stay. When my child grows up a little, I'd love to visit again with my family next time. It was exactly what I hoped for—a luxurious and relaxing time that allowed me to refresh myself fully. Thank you very much!

Excellent.
I stayed with my parents and girlfriend this time. My mother has difficulty walking, but the staff were very considerate, making it an enjoyable trip. One downside was that the keyhole in the guest room seemed stuck or difficult to turn, which caused a bit of trouble. Other than that, the food was delicious, and the view from the bath was fantastic. I would love to visit again if I have the chance!

Family Trip
It was a very nice ryokan. Since my daughter is only one year old, we chose a room with a private bath. The bath was spacious enough for the three of us to enjoy together, and we had a wonderful family trip. Meals were served in a private dining room, allowing us to relax and enjoy our time as a family. The food was very delicious. It was a satisfying ryokan experience. We would love to stay again. Thank you to everyone at Gyosai Nagomi no Yado Sansui!

I enjoyed a quiet and relaxing stay.
The Room's bath is an Onsen, and being able to enjoy it multiple times was amazing. The rooftop infinity heated pool is small but has plenty of chairs, making it perfect for stargazing. The meals, made with local ingredients, were very delicious, and the breakfast was also highly satisfying.

The Onsen in the room is highly recommended.
The property has a unique design that feels compact but is actually spacious. The interior was clean, and the meals were luxurious and delicious. The pool opened at 3:00 PM, and I entered right around that time (likely the first guest of the day). However, I was a bit surprised to find a fake nail in the pool (which I picked up and disposed of). Despite this, the pool had a private feel, and there was also a sauna which made it very enjoyable. I found the bath in my Room more comfortable in terms of temperature and usability compared to the public bath, so I used it multiple times.

Reward Trip
I stayed alone this time. Despite not having made a prior reservation, I contacted the accommodation after arriving at Awa-Kominato Station, and they promptly arranged a shuttle service for me. I was deeply impressed by their courteous and swift response! The hospitality within the accommodation was also exceptional! The welcome drink beer was delicious, even for someone like me who usually doesn't enjoy the bitterness of beer. The room in the annex felt slightly older than expected but was quiet and relaxing—a very pleasant room overall. The meals were incredibly luxurious, and I ended up so full that I couldn't finish the sake I ordered! Having a private dining space made it even more comfortable and enjoyable. However, the shampoo provided in the room didn't suit me well and felt slightly sticky. It would be great if there were an option to choose individually packaged shampoos or similar products! Overall, it was an accommodation I'd love to visit again without question! Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.

An Accommodation Where You Can Relax with Fish and Want to Visit Again
We stayed with our children and had such a wonderful experience that we would love to come back again! Dinner was a full seafood course, served in abundance. The sashimi of spiny lobster and abalone was fresh and delicious. The name of the accommodation truly reflects its specialty in seafood. We chose a room with an attached private bath, which allowed even our little one still in diapers to enjoy comfortably. In the lounge, there was unlimited beer as a welcome drink—I ended up having three glasses right after arriving! One minor point was that during breakfast, I noticed some dried rice from dinner underfoot; it would have been nice if it had been cleaned up. However, this is just a small detail—breakfast was also luxurious overall, and we were extremely satisfied!

We visited upon my h...
We visited upon my husband's request to spend a relaxing time at a Hotel with an ocean view! The staff's hospitality was excellent, making our stay very comfortable. The meals were incredibly fresh and delicious, both at night and in the morning, and the view from the Room was absolutely stunning! Since it was a weekday, we had the spa space to ourselves at night, and being able to use the sauna from 6 a.m. was fantastic. We would love to visit again!

Wonderful Accommodation
A wonderful accommodation with heartfelt hospitality. The course meals, including sashimi and other dishes, were delicious and generously portioned. The room beautifully combines the charm of a retro Japanese-style room with modern facilities, making it truly delightful. The coffee in the lounge was also excellent. The pool includes an onsen pool with a herbal-scented löyly. The indoor onsen is small but features high-quality water, with two baths to enjoy. I had back pain, but after soaking in the bath, I felt much better the next day. It was a truly wonderful experience.

I stayed for one nig...
I stayed for one night and two days, but it was such a wonderful place that I regretted not staying longer! The bath with an ocean view, the relaxing time on the balcony listening to the sound of waves and insects, and the luxurious breakfast were all amazing. It was my first time staying at a Ryokan alone, but the staff were so kind that I felt very comfortable. Next time, I definitely want to stay again for two nights and three days with both breakfast and dinner included!

We stayed with children.
I stayed at this accommodation during a trip to Kamogawa with my 1.5-year-old son. It is conveniently located near Sea World, and since it was my son's first time seeing the ocean, we chose an accommodation with an ocean view. Our room was on the top floor of the main building. While some parts of the interior seemed to have been renovated, there was still a sense of age; however, it was clean and comfortable. The room's windows and bathroom offered a stunning panoramic view of the ocean. The amenities in the room (bathroom and washroom) included Marks & Web products, which were great! Since we had a child with us and couldn't relax in the large public bath, it was nice to unwind in our private bathroom instead. After check-in, you can enjoy beer in the lounge! (Available from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM only.) There were no snacks provided (at least when we visited), but there were ice pops and drinks available. The large public baths are divided into two types and alternate between men’s and women’s use depending on time slots. Since there are no open-air baths, both options felt average overall; however, it's nice that they use Onsen water. Bath chairs and baby soap seemed to be permanently available. Meals focused on fresh seafood dishes that were all deliciously impressive! I thought an entire kids' set might be too much for my 1.5-year-old son; however, they kindly provided free white rice along with apple juice for him—such thoughtful service! If our child had been more settled during dinner time, I would have loved to try some local sake options they had available. All staff members were incredibly kind and made our stay very comfortable at this accommodation. I would love to visit again if given another opportunity!

We stayed as a famil...
We stayed as a family of four. Everything was perfect, and it was the best accommodation we have ever stayed at. When we informed them about having small children, the room was prepared with amenities for kids, which made our children very excited! The dining experience was also great with baby chairs and high chairs available, and since it was in a private room, we could enjoy our meals without worrying about others. Dinner had plenty of volume and left us very satisfied, while breakfast had just the right amount. The food overall was excellent. The staff provided incredibly pleasant service throughout our stay, making this an accommodation we definitely want to visit again. However, the public bath is not very spacious, so if you are looking for an Onsen-focused stay, another accommodation might be better suited for you. But if you're seeking exceptional hospitality and service, this place is highly recommended! There were welcome drinks and ice cream available too—our daughter loved it! Everything was clean and well-maintained. It truly is a wonderful accommodation!

Exceptional hospitality even during power outages
Due to heavy rain from the typhoon, there was a rare power outage for about an hour. However, the hotel extended their draft beer service (normally available until 5 PM) to 11 PM as compensation and offered a complimentary drink per person (excluding wine bottles) along with a ¥6,000 cashback instead of serving appetizers. I enjoyed some sake during this time. The staff not only provided excellent service but also greeted us warmly every time, apologizing for the inconvenience and encouraging us to enjoy our stay. Their kindness and dedication made the experience truly heartwarming. I stayed here for my birthday, and they fulfilled my surprise request perfectly—I was absolutely satisfied! The simmered golden-eye snapper was exquisite. If you're visiting Chiba, I highly recommend staying here!

Renovated Ryokan
Thank you for your hospitality. If the following points are improved, I would definitely love to visit this accommodation again. [Suggestions for Improvement] ● I stayed in the main building room, and the smell (insufficient ventilation, aged odor) was noticeable. ● The pillows were either too high or too firm; it would be nice to have a pillow selection option. ● The futon felt slightly prickly. ● The linens (yukata and towels) had an odor. ● While the food was very delicious, the seasoning was somewhat similar throughout, which made it a bit monotonous. Including porridge for breakfast would be appreciated. ● Regarding children’s amenities: → It would be great to have items like furikake or child-friendly tableware available. → Providing footwear in sizes suitable for children instead of adult-sized ones would be helpful. → Adding child-friendly drinks such as apple juice or Calpis to the free drink options would be nice. → Having amenity bags specifically designed for children would also enhance their experience. [What I Loved] ・The stylish renovation and use of materials from before the reform were impressive! ・All staff members were kind and had wonderful smiles! ・The bathwater was excellent as well. Perfect for quietly gazing at the sea.
We stayed for a two-day, one-night trip in the summer with my mother and daughter. Although we arrived early, the staff smoothly guided us to the parking area. At the front desk, we were recommended to explore the lounge and nearby areas, allowing us to enjoy drinks in the lounge while gazing at the sea until check-in time. The room was spacious, offering views of a cove with docked fishing boats and a horizon visible from both the window and bathroom. We enjoyed watching how the sea changed throughout different times of day. This time, we stayed in an annex room, so we had to walk through an outdoor passageway to access facilities like dining areas, lounges, and large communal baths located in the main building. However, as this passageway was covered with a roof and thoughtfully designed with landscaping elements, it did not feel inconvenient or troublesome. Meals were served in a private dining room for both dinner and breakfast. Every dish was perfectly balanced in presentation, taste, and portion size—just right for us. However, those who prefer larger portions or men might find it slightly insufficient. Some staff members handling service or guidance within the accommodation were non-Japanese but demonstrated excellent understanding of their roles. Their Japanese language skills were very fluent; however, they spoke so quickly that it became slightly hard to follow at times—slowing down might help improve communication further! Their demeanor and smiles were wonderful; please keep up your great work! Amenities provided by Marks & Web added a nice touch—we usually bring our own shampoo products but decided to use what was provided this time due to its pleasant fragrance and quality feel that offered refreshing change. We visited the infinity pool on top of the annex during evening hours wearing bathing attire (rash guards) provided in our room along with thick bathrobes. Luckily having exclusive use without other guests around allowed us luxurious moments swimming under sunset skies followed by stargazing while floating peacefully on water—a truly indulgent experience! The well-stocked supply of towels available inside changing rooms also added reassurance during usage. As this is relatively small-scale accommodation without large groups creating noise disturbances—it remained quiet throughout ensuring restful relaxation overall! Service levels across guest rooms/facilities cleanliness exceeded expectations making stay highly enjoyable overall confidently recommendable friends alike surely returning future occasions thank-you much hospitality shown!

It was an excellent meal!
I stayed for a solo trip and workation. The meals, featuring fresh local seafood, were incredibly delicious, and the non-seafood dishes were also excellent. The room was clean, and although the activity at the port in front of the accommodation was noticeable during the day, it wasn’t bothersome in the evening or at night. I thoroughly enjoyed the semi-open-air bath in my room. The rooftop spa was also very relaxing, and I enjoyed it both at night and early in the morning. I would love to visit again!

Clean and excellent hospitality.
I stayed at the annex. The hospitality of the staff was excellent, and the interior design was stylish and clean. The food was delicious, and I enjoyed the beer and drink service in the lounge until 5:00 PM, as well as the pool. The Room was also clean, and the semi-open-air bath in the room was very relaxing.

A whirlwind family trip with our 6-month-old daughter
We stayed at the accommodation for a family trip with our 6-month-old daughter! Since we made the reservation just 5 hours before check-in, we could only get a room with a shower, so we were worried until arrival. But what a surprise when we got there!! The room had baby items like a Bumbo seat and bouncer, and even Pigeon foam soap... tears of joy. We were able to enjoy our meals in a private room without worrying about others, eating at our own pace! Of course, the private dining room also had a Bumbo seat and bouncer... more tears of joy. Our baby was able to experience her onsen debut as babies are allowed in the large bath. She was happy throughout and slept soundly that night! Haha. *However, the bathwater was too hot... even for adults.* The staff were incredibly kind, making us realize how nice it is to have relaxing trips at hotels! Next time, we'd love to stay in another type of room at this wonderful hotel! Thank you so much!!

Extremely satisfied with the service.
The Ryokan provided excellent service. We stayed with our 0-year-old baby, and although we didn’t make any specific requests, they thoughtfully prepared amenities such as a bouncer and baby shampoo, which was truly impressive. The dining area was a private tatami room, allowing us to let our child lie down and enjoy our meal without worrying about others. It felt like a safe and comfortable accommodation for families with small children.

The evaluation of ea...
The evaluation of each item is as stated. Fully satisfied. With a whole Kinmedai fish and bamboo shoot rice served, I couldn't resist finishing it all. From liver soy sauce, salt, and other seasonings used in the dishes to the garnishes, I thoroughly enjoyed everything. Although I felt sorry for the head chef, I couldn't finish it all. Personally, there were just too many delicious dishes. The attentive service and explanations of the meals by the staff also became a cherished memory. In the future, I would like to consider broader sightseeing with staying at this accommodation as my main purpose. The Sotobo Line we used this time was not very convenient, so using a private car might be better—perhaps during colder seasons would be ideal. The Onsen at this accommodation warms you up well (as someone from a cold region myself, it might warm you up too much in summer).

My favorite!
The sea-facing room on the top floor was quiet, well-maintained, and provided a comfortable space. The room was equipped with a coffee maker along with green tea and coffee cartridges. Additionally, there was even a beer server as part of the welcome drinks, which delighted my friend who had driven us here. The dishes were beautifully presented, and the staff member from abroad who served them explained everything politely in elegant language. The bath had excellent water pressure in the shower, making it very refreshing. It was an accommodation I would love to visit again.
