    Everything was perfect!

    From arrival to departure, the service provided by the staff was exceptional and unmatched by other accommodations. Each meal was thoughtfully prepared, offering not only delicious flavors but also an enjoyable experience. The room had its own onsen, allowing us to indulge in a blissful time at any moment. (While many facilities offer private open-air baths, accommodations with actual onsen water are surprisingly rare.) I would love to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff!

    A beautiful accommodation with stunning sunset views.

    The meals and service were impeccable, allowing for a relaxing stay. Thank you very much. The lounge was perfect for unwinding, and the Onsen was comfortable and suited my skin well. With only three rooms per floor, a total of 18 rooms, and no children allowed, this Ryokan offers a quiet atmosphere—perfect for relaxation. The entire facility is designed with an adult-oriented concept in mind, providing a serene environment. Considering the price range, it offers great value compared to other Onsens in similar price brackets in different regions.

    The newly renovated Room was nice and modern. It included a private bath, and though compact, it was clean and very pleasant. The free drink options were also excellent.

    Sunset Beach in the Season of Cherry Blossoms

    In early April, the cherry blossoms along the rivers in the Tango region were in full bloom. However, there wasn’t a single person enjoying hanami under the trees. The lack of crowds was truly refreshing. At Yuhigaura, known for its beautiful sunsets, we unfortunately couldn’t see the sunset due to cloudy skies but received a "revenge ticket" for another visit. At Bettei Fuuka, with only 18 rooms and private Onsen baths in each room, I had the large public bath all to myself both in the evening and morning. My wife also mentioned having it entirely to herself. Soaking peacefully without encountering anyone else, floating in relaxation—when thirsty, heading up to the 8th floor for a beer—and then leisurely going down to enjoy dinner paired with chilled sake at mealtime was pure bliss. Returning to our room after dinner meant indulging once more by reading a book while soaking in our private bath. It was an incredibly luxurious experience. The next day upon returning to Osaka, I found crowds gathered under every blooming cherry tree—a stark contrast filled with hanami frenzy. Ahh... taking it slow is such a luxury!

    I was very satisfied...

    I was very satisfied with my previous stay, so I visited this time during the season when crab is available. The meals were wonderful again, and everything was delicious. The breakfast had just the right portion and was tasty as well. The accommodation was comfortable, and my companion also liked it a lot, which gave me peace of mind.

    The bathroom in the Room is excellent.

    The Onsen bath attached to the Room was amazing, with a continuous flow of hot spring water. On the day of arrival, it was extremely cold with snow and hail falling, and my body felt chilled. Warming up in the Onsen provided lasting warmth, so I also enjoyed a morning bath. The meals were satisfying as well. However, I was slightly concerned to find some hair on the sofa.

    Stayed for one night from the 15th with my granddaughter and was thrilled to enjoy the long-awaited live crab. We received warm hospitality from the manager, the energetic staff, and everyone else. Both of us were extremely satisfied. Looking forward to our next visit!

    Time of Relaxation with the Sea and Crabs

    I wanted to eat crab, so I visited Yuhigaura Onsen. This is my second time using it, the first being in 2020 before COVID-19. The view from the 8th-floor lounge is great. Ocean view! Gazing at the horizon and sky as they change moment by moment makes you forget about time. It's relaxing for your eyes to occasionally look at the horizon and sky instead of just your smartphone. The room was also comfortable, and I used the room bath several times. For meals, we had a crab kaiseki with Tajima beef included and free drinks. Crab sashimi, steamed crab, grilled crab, crab hot pot, and crab porridge were all very satisfying. From the initial dashi tasting onwards, my spirits were lifted. It was my first time trying freshly pressed raw soy sauce; its rich flavor surprised me. We could compare different types of crab sashimi; each preparation was well thought out. Having a message from the chef on the menu was also nice—it made dining even more enjoyable than before. The staff in charge of serving explained everything carefully and attentively which made me happy. The local sake among free drinks was delicious too but their apple juice was by far the best I've ever had. Breakfast didn't disappoint either—deliciousness guaranteed! There were different drink options compared to last night; I chose plum vinegar milk mix—tasty! After eating again relaxed at 8th-floor lounge while gazing out over sea until checkout—a wonderful way spend good quality time. I would love use this place again!

    One more step

    I stayed at Bettei Fuuka. First, the points that were not so good. 1. The Room had an old feel as the washbasin and toilet were not renovated. 2. Compared to dinner, breakfast was at the level of a typical Onsen Property meal without any special features. It was delicious though. 3. It's nice that it's all-inclusive, but the lounge snacks were lacking. It was disappointing that there were no rusks or sweet potatoes available at night which were there during the day. I expected at least some dried fruits, but it was just popcorn, Kaki-no-tane (spicy rice crackers), and mixed nuts. The drinks were good, so it was a shame about the snacks. Good points: 1. The young male staff who handled our check-in also attended to us during dinner and his moderate conversation and attentiveness were excellent; he explained about sake and brought us a serving when requested. 2. The crab feast for dinner was spectacular; worth coming just for this. 3. The bath attached to the room is extremely good. Isn't the showerhead Mirable? The Room was so well-equipped that there wasn't much need to go to the large communal bath. Would I go again? Yes, but I hope for an upgrade in lounge offerings. As someone who enjoys drinking, it’s disappointing that despite choosing all-inclusive for this reason, the lounge offerings fell short. Nevertheless, I am very satisfied with the staff service, Room amenities, and dinner experience—thank you very much!

    It was nice to see Fuuka again after a long time.

    The room felt the same as before the renovation, but the furnishings seemed new. The bathtub was spacious and nice. This time, due to a sauna malfunction in the large public bath, we went to the main building, and its bath was great. The meals were satisfying with their creative presentation and taste. As for "all-inclusive," the room's refrigerator mostly had water; it would have been better if there were more variety of drinks. The lounge and dining area seemed designed for those who drink alcohol, so it was a bit disappointing for non-alcohol drinkers like me not to have much enjoyment. Since I came for crab, I guess it couldn't be helped.

    Crab Feast

    Above all, the crab dishes were very satisfying and filling. The sashimi and grilled crab served right in front of us were truly delicious. It was a bit of a hassle to go get the inclusive drinks, but there were several types of alcohol available. The Room and lounge were comfortable and allowed for a relaxing stay. The bath being gender-swapped with only one open-air bath felt slightly lacking. All the staff members were kind, and we had an enjoyable time. We would love to visit again.

    All the staff were very warm and welcoming. The gentleman who assisted us at dinner in particular kept a smile throughout and created a fun atmosphere, which made our trip truly memorable. We were able to relax in the lounge with its beautiful views, and everything—the large public bath, Room, restaurant, and more—was spotless. The food was delicious, and there was nothing to complain about. We would love to visit again.

    High-end "oriented,"...

    High-end "oriented," but not actually a first-class property. The entire facility and room are clean, and the view is beautiful, but the staff only respond according to the manual. They do not cater to guests' requests like a butler. In the onsen, only mini towels are provided, and there are no bath towels or bathrobes available; guests must bring bath towels from their room. In the lounge, drinks are available, but snacks are limited to nuts. Although it promotes being all-inclusive, it is not always possible to eat and drink, except during dinner. Guests accustomed to typical all-inclusive facilities may find it lacking.

    We had a wonderful time.

    Since the purpose of the trip was to spend time leisurely, I chose this property for its good scenery and reliable hygiene. I stayed in a room called "Rikka" on the 6th floor, and the interior was lovely and exuded a sense of cleanliness, allowing me to relax completely. The amenities were also well-equipped, and I didn't feel any inconvenience at all. Being a separate building, it was relatively small in scale, and I hardly encountered other guests, which allowed me to spend my time without any worries. I was a bit concerned that the lounge called "Ao" on the 8th floor might be crowded, but it was actually quiet and had a calm atmosphere, allowing me to enjoy a leisurely time. It was truly a wonderful property where you could feel the attention to detail everywhere. I would love to visit again.

    It was very good.

    I stayed at Hanare Fuuka. The bed and the open-air bath in the room were very nice. The food was also very delicious, with the chef's ingenuity and love evident. The appetizers were elaborate, and the small chawanmushi with crab miso was delicious and very satisfying. I was also pleased with the dashimaki tamago for breakfast. Recently, many properties do not serve authentic dashimaki tamago in the morning. You can watch TV and Netflix for free. And you can enjoy all the alcohol for free. On the exclusive lounge on the 8th floor, you can enjoy beer and coffee while watching the sunset. They also prepare a decanter with ice for sake, so I could enjoy cold sake by adding my favorite sake. When I told them it was our wedding anniversary, they gave us a message on a plate and a present. Thank you very much. It was so good that we are now talking about trying to stay at a cottage-style place next time.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. The meals were delicious, but I felt the portions were quite large. I was pleased that the drinks were all-you-can-drink. It was unfortunate that we couldn't see the sunset due to the weather. I would love to visit again if I have the opportunity.

    Although there were ...

    Although there were about six people at the entrance, I had to carry my luggage from the car to the lobby myself. From the dining area, you can't see the sea because the garden trees haven't been pruned. It's quite overgrown, and it would be perfect if you could see the sea. That's about the only downside; everything else was excellent. The crab was delicious.

    I stayed in a Room with an Onsen and was impressed by the wonderful views from the 8th-floor front desk and the Room, as well as the food and service. The only downside was the slight smell from the Room's air conditioning.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    We spent a relaxing time as a couple. The staff's thoughtfulness was very much appreciated. Since we can't drink alcohol, we were wondering what we could have from the free drink menu, but we got hooked on the non-alcoholic plum wine soda recommended by the staff. The room was clean, and the view from the bath was great, allowing us to relax. However, the only thing was that the meals were a bit too elaborate; I wished we could have had the sea urchin as sea urchin and the spiny lobster as spiny lobster, not in a hot pot. The dishes and presentation were very beautiful and enjoyable.

    The highlight is definitely the meals. The chef's creativity is amazing! I want to come back to enjoy a different season as well. I visited the lounge on the 8th floor several times and enjoyed it. Thank you for a luxurious one-night stay.

    I was able to do a good deed for my parents.

    Thank you for your hospitality during our stay. Upon arrival, the welcome drink and sweets lifted my mother-in-law's spirits. Of course, we were also satisfied, quenching our thirst with alcohol. The room bath was an Onsen with a constant flow, and the temperature was comfortable, which was also satisfying. The large public bath was spacious, and we couldn't help but exclaim, "Ah, happiness!" At dinner, the server was very graceful, allowing us to have a pleasant time. The beautiful and delicious dishes were numerous. Local sake was also available, and it was so delicious that we ended up drinking too much. For breakfast, the rice was cooked in a traditional pot, each grain standing out, and it was chewy and delicious. The side dishes were so plentiful and tasty that we wondered if we could finish them all. Finally, we had coffee after the meal in the lounge on the 8th floor. We were told that the coffee beans were roasted by a local coffee bean shop. We were very satisfied with the deep-roasted, rich, and flavorful coffee. We would love to visit again. My mother-in-law was also pleased. Thank you for the connection.

    Unlimited breathtaking views and all-you-can-drink

    Unlimited breathtaking views and drinks from both the room and the bath The car is parked at the entrance of Kasyouen. It is a wide entrance porch along the highway, making it easy to pull over. After unloading the luggage, you park the car yourself in an available paved space. A bell girl carries the luggage to the elevator hall of the separate villa Fuuka (Fuka), which is connected to Kasyouen by a stairway passage. From there, you take your luggage and yukata to the lounge terrace Aoi -AO- on the top 8th floor and check in on the sofa there. I was a bit surprised to be asked for a prepayment of the accommodation fee right away, but later realized that this is an inclusive fee within Fuka, similar to prepaying the entrance fee to the buffet venue. In the lounge, you can enjoy free drinks, including alcohol, and some snacks. The high-rise separate villa called Fuka has the atmosphere of a club floor of the main building Kasyouen. The accommodation room is spacious, bright, and clean. You can view the western sea, sky, and the low-standing private houses and ryokan along the coast. It seems there are three rooms on each floor, and when you open the southern fusuma shoji, the view from the window expands. The stone-tiled square open-view bath is spacious, always at the right temperature, and clean. The windows close properly, and there is a washing area, so it should be refreshing even in winter. After bathing, enjoy draft beer on the sofa or deck chair on the veranda on the 8th floor. Meals are at "Fusui" on the 1st floor. Several private booth rooms are lined up around a large central stand of free drink alcohol. The entrance to the booths is a noren. It seems it was originally a large hall. The entire "Fusui" is lively like an izakaya. The dishes brought in sequence are gourmet, mismatched with the bustling atmosphere. After the meal, you can go back up to the 8th floor to drink quietly. You inevitably end up drinking too much at this property. I found the fine sake "Ine Mankai" at the shop.
