    It was a very good accommodation.

    It was a very satisfying stay. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The onsen was very clean with pleasant water, and I also enjoyed visiting the sister facility's baths. The meals were delicious, creative, plentiful, and even the desserts had originality—everything was excellent. I have visited various onsen destinations, but this was my first time here, and I am so glad to have discovered such a wonderful accommodation.

    During the Plum Blossom Festival

    We visited to enjoy hot spring hopping during the plum blossom season. Although there was no private bath in the room, we stayed in a newly renovated Room. It coincided with the festival at Plum Grove Park, allowing us to enjoy the early-blooming plum blossoms, relax in hot springs, savor a delicious sashimi boat platter, and spend a luxurious time. Thank you for kindly delivering the rice dish to our Room when we were too full to eat it right away. The handmade dessert was also very delicious. We look forward to visiting again during another season!

    The meals were absolutely delicious. The family bath made of cypress, said to have skin-beautifying effects, was wonderful as we enjoyed the soothing breeze. We will visit again!

    I will definitely visit again.

    This is the first Property that made me feel like I absolutely want to visit again! The Onsen and the hospitality of the Property staff were excellent. Above all, the cuisine! From small dishes to main courses, desserts, and even breakfast salads, there wasn't a single dish that felt lacking; everything was something I'd love to have again. I was surprised that such a Property exists... While part of me wants to keep it a secret from others, I decided to write my first Review hoping it continues to prosper for a long time! Thank you for a heartwarming and memorable stay! I look forward to visiting again when the seasons change and enjoying seasonal delights.

    A word of satisfaction.

    The deliciousness of the meals and the excellent hospitality of everyone at the Property captured my heart during my previous visit, and I have been waiting for this season to enjoy monkfish. The Room was "Setsugetsu," featuring a comfortable Japanese-style room and a bedroom. From the room, you can see a garden with soft lighting from snow-hanging decorations and stone lanterns, providing a tranquil space for relaxation. It's nice that you can rest in the bedroom at any time. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying; each dish was beautifully presented and delicious, from the initial lily root mousse to every single item served at just the right temperature—whether cold or hot. I finished everything up to dessert; it was truly delightful. A five-star rating is not enough—completely satisfied. The Onsen is also wonderful; it feels gentle on your skin, leaving it smooth after bathing, allowing for restful sleep once again this time. Everyone at the Property kindly says "Please take your time" as they interact with guests. Thanks to their perfectly balanced hospitality without being intrusive or distant, I could enjoy a leisurely luxurious time here. Thank you very much—I look forward to visiting again!

    The hospitality and cuisine were excellent.

    This time, because Chef Okuda from Alchecciano and my close friend have a strong relationship, we had dinner there and opted for a plan with breakfast only. In the reservation plan section, several recommended dining places in Tsuruoka were introduced, which gave a good impression of the local connections. The bath was also wonderful and relaxing. Notably, the breakfast was delicious, featuring a selection of local seasonal ingredients. The staff answered questions about the ingredients and cooking methods accurately, leaving both my stomach and heart satisfied. Since we didn't have much time in Shonai this time, I would like to visit again in a different season with a plan that includes both dinner and breakfast.

    Both the meals and the Onsen were very satisfying!

    There are three baths in the facility and a total of six baths in the nearby affiliated Ryokan, making a total of nine baths available. During my stay, I tried four of them, and each was a relaxing experience. The spring quality was gentle, warming me from the core of my body. Both dinner and breakfast featured a parade of local dishes, with highlights like seasonal cod soup, homemade soy-marinated cod roe, Haccho miso-braised Shonai pork, and soy-grilled hatahata from Shonai coast, allowing me to savor delicious local cuisine. The variety of local sake was also abundant, making it an exceptionally wonderful stay.

    Thank you for the meal!

    The amenities are minimal, but the delicious meals more than make up for it. I would love to try the seasonal dishes at another time.

    It is a warm Stays.

    I was treated very kindly. I also received travel advice. The rain stopped, and I was able to visit the Five-Storied Pagoda safely. Thank you very much. I would like to stay again.

    Completely Satisfied

    Anyway, the food is delicious. The fish, of course, and even the vegetables and rice are tasty. Everything, including the dessert, is a climax. The seasoning is not too strong, just right! It's out of this world. This was my third repeat visit. It never fails to meet expectations, and it's just delicious! I'm very satisfied. My whole family had a happy time. Thank you. I heard that the head chef has been working here for 20 years. Please don't quit. We'll visit again. The room bath with the windows wide open was also pleasant. I took a bath many times. We look forward to visiting again.

    Meals that do not disappoint

    The food was delicious, so I visited again. This time as well, everything was elaborate, and the portions were just right, allowing me to fully enjoy the meal. Perhaps due to the heat, I noticed a bit of humidity inside the building. Thank you for taking care of us.

    It was a tranquil inn.

    I stayed here on the third night of my trip to Yamagata. The customer service was neither excessive nor lacking, just right. The food was wonderful. From the first cold "dadacha bean mousse," I felt very happy, and I thought the seasoning and preparation were perfect for me all the way to the final dessert. I also enjoyed the breakfast, feeling that each dish was carefully prepared. I understood why it is highly rated. (The following are just things that would be nice to have: a vending machine for beer, a slightly sturdier razor. But I think it's fine as it is now.)
