    Stylish for any occasion!

    The stay was absolutely satisfying in every aspect. On the day of our visit, there was a local junior high school graduation party, and the next day, a wedding ceremony was held. It made us feel how much this accommodation is loved by the local community, and we understood why. The atmosphere was calm, all the staff were pleasant, and every scene—from light meals in the lounge to teppanyaki dinner and breakfast in an open space—was stylish and inviting enough to make us want to return. The library was an incredibly luxurious space that we highly recommend exploring during your stay. We believe its reputation will continue to rise even further in the future.

    Highly Satisfied

    The tatami mats in the Japanese-style room were old and had an unpleasant smell, but everything else was great!

    It was a very lovely Hotel!

    My first visit to Miyazaki. I stayed at The Meivia Miyazaki, a place I had always wanted to try! It happened to be the 1st anniversary of the new building's opening on my stay date, and I was thrilled when the hotel kindly upgraded my room to the new building. Congratulations on your 1st anniversary! The room was very chic and provided a calm atmosphere. The Bulgari amenities were lovely as well. There was also a balcony overlooking the courtyard pool, which was impressive. The jacuzzi was spacious and made for a comfortable stay! However, there was noticeable air noise from what seemed like an intake or ventilation vent in the ceiling near the entrance door, which slightly bothered me at night. The lounge on the first floor had a great ambiance with various drinks and snacks that lifted my spirits! As a wine lover, having sparkling wine would have made it perfect (haha). For dinner, I enjoyed a teppanyaki course with free-flow drinks—it was absolutely delicious! Watching everything being cooked right in front of me left me amazed!! The seafood dishes were especially delightful; the scallops cooked medium-rare were exquisite and paired perfectly with white wine. The chef’s friendly demeanor added to the experience! While I enjoyed exploring different options in free-flow drinks, both red and white wines were labeled as "Today's Recommendation," so their specific names weren’t clear... While I could have asked myself, it would have been nice if there had been an explanation like "Today’s wine is ○○" either before starting or when pouring each glass. Breakfast was Japanese-style and very tasty; I even added mini steaks and waffles—everything exceeded expectations! Overall, it was an excellent stay—I’d love to visit again someday!! Thank you so much!!!

    Outdoor Jacuzzi

    The Hotel was clean and comfortable. However, the outdoor jacuzzi in the Room did not produce bubbles from the bottom. The instructions mentioned that bubbles would come out from the sides, but there was no mention of them coming from the bottom, so I didn’t realize it was an issue until I asked during checkout and found out it was a malfunction. I wish I had asked earlier. Since I chose this Room specifically for the outdoor jacuzzi, it was very disappointing.

    The most comfortable Hotel in Miyazaki

    It was a great small luxury Hotel. For stays without golf, I think it's the best in Miyazaki. The compact design makes it easy to navigate inside the facility. My favorite features were the exceptionally strong water pressure in the shower (definitely the best in Miyazaki) and the spacious jacuzzi-style bath.

    Facility is excellent, staff improvement needed.

    The Room, public spaces, and lounge were comfortable. The staff service was satisfactory; however, at the front desk and restaurant, responses to questions or inquiries were not immediate and often required checking or using a computer on the spot. We hope for further experience, training, and learning for each staff member.

    First time in the new building.

    The parking lot is very spacious and easy to use. There are Japanese-style rooms, and futons are convenient for small children. The bath features a relaxing jet bath, and the towels provided are more than sufficient. The two large-sized beds are also excellent. Breakfast offers the same menu as before, and we stayed without visiting the old building at all. The facilities are highly satisfying, and we have already decided to visit again.

    This was my first stay, and I was upgraded to a room. I was completely satisfied with the luxurious feel of the room, the teppanyaki dinner, breakfast, and drinks. The staff were also very kind. I would like to repeat my visit.

    It was excellent.

    It was my first time using it, but everything was very good! The Room was spacious, the amenities smelled great, and there was a lovely balcony. There were many local Miyazaki sake options in the lounge, and the craft gin was incredibly delicious. There were also many types of beer, and the homemade-like potato chips were excellent. There wasn't any pretentiousness typical of luxury Hotels; instead, it had a warm local feel thanks to the kind Hotel staff. It was simply amazing. The bed was large and very comfortable. I will definitely visit again when I go to Miyazaki!

    I used it during the New Year holidays.

    It felt more like an upgraded version of a Business Hotel with less hospitality, rather than a luxury Hotel where you can experience an extraordinary atmosphere. I think this was because there was quite a variation in the service level of the staff, including those in the restaurant. Also, while the lobby, lounge, and Room were spacious and wonderful, all the windows in the corridor leading to the guest rooms were not cleaned. ※This was not improved during the 3-day stay. As someone mentioned in a Review, it seemed that the software was not keeping up with the hardware. It is a lovely Hotel, so I hope it will be improved.

    Wonderful time

    I had a great time with the wonderful atmosphere and hospitality. It might have been my oversight, but upon arrival, I tried to stop the car and get off at the front Facility. It was difficult to understand that the Hotel entrance was further in.

    In the metropolitan ...

    In the metropolitan area, where the recent rise in hotel prices means you can only stay in a business hotel under 20 square meters for around 30,000 yen, this hotel provided a luxurious stay for the same price. The location is close to Miyazaki Station and about 20 minutes by rental car from the airport. The parking lot is a large flat space, and staff quickly come to assist with your suitcases. After checking in at the new building's front desk, you can immediately peek into the lounge next door, which is not a makeshift lounge but offers around 20 types of alcohol, including local sake, and light snacks like cheese. Although it's December and you can't swim, you can enjoy alcohol by the poolside in a pleasant atmosphere. I was shown to a room in the new building, and wow, it has a design similar to rooms of the same size in foreign luxury hotels. The amenities are Bvlgari, which is exciting. What is quite pleasing is that all the drinks in the room's minibar are free. Well, this is probably included in the room rate, but even so, it lifts your spirits, and at this price range, I wish others would follow suit. There are also plenty of towels, a gown, and comfortable pajamas. The building and room are undeniably good, and the staff and service are not at the business hotel level; they were very attentive, allowing for a comfortable stay until the end. Kuma Kengo is often talked about on social media, but this is one of the good Kengo Kuma architectures. In summary, if you're coming to Miyazaki for sightseeing as adults, this place is definitely recommended over a certain large foreign hotel.

    Worth a visit.

    This is my second time in Miyazaki, and this time was my first stay here. I had a fracture, so I was very grateful for the pick-up service. The staff are kind, and their smiles make this Hotel a pleasant place. The jacuzzi and the double sink in the bathroom are very spacious and easy to use, and I love the scent of the Bulgari amenities. The free-flowing drinks in the Room lifted my spirits. I was very satisfied with the TV subscription services. The breakfast was delicious, and even though I was full, I couldn't resist having another steak. I was able to relax in the lounge as well. Although it's a bit far from the station, I highly recommend this Hotel. It was quiet, relaxing, and the delicious food was superb.

    First Stay in Miyazaki City

    I decided to stay here because I dislike small rooms and heard that it was designed by Kengo Kuma. While I thought the architecture was good, the cost performance was poor, and I didn't feel any hospitality or warmth for this price. The included breakfast was provided at a minimal level... For dinner, I ordered a shabu-shabu kaiseki at a separate restaurant, but it seemed insubstantial. At the same price, other places would offer a more decent meal with an abundance of seafood and mountain delicacies. If you are targeting higher-ranked customers, it might be beneficial to learn from renowned Onsen Ryokans. The current level of meals and service was disproportionate and very disappointing.

    We enjoyed the light...

    We enjoyed the light snacks and drinks in the lounge. As expected from a new Hotel, the Room was clean, and the bathroom with a jet bath was excellent. If I may make one suggestion, it would be to provide an additional box of tissues in the Room. It would have been nice to have one each for the living area and bathroom.

    It was comfortable.

    I had a very wonderful time. I was able to relax both in the lounge and the library. Above all, the lighting, bathroom, and toilet in the Room were very good. I recommend this Hotel.

    I was able to relax.

    The room was clean, and with the lounge, training room, and pool, I was able to fully enjoy my stay. The pool in the morning, evening, and night was fantastic. I want to visit again.
