    Relax and enjoy your stay.

    We traveled to Miyazaki from Osaka as a family of three for our daughter’s birthday, because she wanted to try authentic spicy ramen. It was a very hot midsummer day, but the Room was cool, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom with a jet bath was spacious, and we were also delighted with the BVLGARI amenities. Since we hadn’t made a Reservation for the dinner course, we asked for à la carte at the restaurant at short notice. The cheerful chef kindly listened to our requests, and we enjoyed delicious Miyazaki beef and wine in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. For breakfast, the three of us ordered different dishes—Japanese-style breakfast, Western-style breakfast, and Eggs Benedict—and everything was excellent. As we didn’t need to drive anywhere afterward, we were able to enjoy plenty of drinks from the morning. In particular, the original(?) sausage in the Western-style breakfast was so flavorful that I wished I could have had more—either as seconds or even as a takeaway. During our stay, they also prepared a birthday celebration plate for our daughter, recommended a great spicy ramen shop, and gave us time to relax in the lounge with drinks while enjoying conversations with our daughter that we don’t often get to have. Thanks to this warm hospitality from all the staff who created such a welcoming environment, it became an extremely comfortable trip to Miyazaki. I truly think this is a highly recommended Hotel. To all the staff members: thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

    Kengo Kuma

    It was my first trip to Miyazaki in 30 years. I had been planning the itinerary for months. I combined Misato Town, which I had never visited, with Saito and Aya, where I had been before, and decided to spend the final day in Miyazaki. I planned to stay at a down-to-earth Ryokan in Misato, a Ryokan I had stayed at before in Aya, and an urban Hotel in Miyazaki. I searched on IKYU and chose this place because it was new and stylish. Even though it was before the usual check-in time, they told us our Room was ready and kindly showed us to it. My wife was truly delighted. It was an extremely hot day, so we were hoping we could cool off in the lobby—this made us even more grateful. We also visited the lounge three times during our stay. They even brought us a Nikkei newspaper from two days earlier (which we never expected they would have). They arranged Shuttle Service to Miyazaki Station right on time, and they gladly accommodated our requests as well. The library is quiet and you can enjoy delicious coffee—and it’s OK to bring books back to your Room. On top of that, drinks in the refrigerator are free; even if it’s included in the Accommodation Fee, services you don’t expect really leave an impression. Check-out is at 12:00 p.m., which meant we could go sightseeing and still return after 10:00 a.m. After that, we enjoyed tea at a relaxed pace, returned the books, and spent more time unwinding in the lounge again. One area for improvement would be that we couldn’t watch much TV—it kept cutting out repeatedly—so we couldn’t follow what was happening in Kumamoto very well. Still, overall this is an Accommodation worthy of full marks.

    Excellent. Everything is comparable to a five-star Hotel.

    The service from the female staff was truly outstanding. Breakfast was delicious, and I also enjoyed ordering extra natto, steak, egg over rice, and curry multiple times. As it is new, the entire Hotel is exceptionally clean. The Room is just as impressive as at hotel the Mitsui. Depending on the Room category, the amenities are BVLGARI and excellent. Rather than visiting Miyazaki itself, I’d like to come back to Miyazaki again—because of this Hotel—to enjoy yakiniku.

    I’d love to stay here again!

    We stayed for a Multiple Night Stay (2 nights). The Shuttle Service from the station was available between 9:00 and 18:00, which was very convenient. A Hotel full of warm hospitality. The Room was spacious, and the bathroom had two sinks, making it easy to get ready efficiently. Everything on the à la carte breakfast menu was delicious, and the bar-time drinks and snacks were plentiful—especially the excellent selection of alcoholic beverages. We’d love to stay again!

    The food was delicious.

    When we drove into the Hotel, a staff member came to greet us and carried our luggage to our Room. In the lounge, the snacks were served on small plates and covered with plastic wrap, which felt very hygienic. The portions and selection were just right. The teppanyaki dinner was also very delicious, and I thought the option to add à la carte items at breakfast was excellent. However, even when we called the front desk, no one answered for over 20 minutes. At checkout as well, there was no smile, and the staff spoke so softly that we couldn’t hear them. There was no send-off at all. In the end, it felt rather impersonal.

    Second stay

    This was my second stay. I traveled all the way to Miyazaki to stay here and fully enjoy the Facility. I arrived right at check-in and stayed until just before check-out. The lounge is free and open for long hours, and although I didn’t use it, I saw many guests enjoying the pool as well—the Facility is very well equipped. We were traveling with a 0-year-old baby, and I’m sorry for any inconvenience caused to other guests when our baby cried or screamed in the restaurant. The staff kindly responded with smiles, which we truly appreciated. We’ll definitely stay again! It’s a Hotel I highly recommend.

    Blissful Hotel

    Everything was wonderful, but I feel the Japanese breakfast could be improved. The rice, miso soup, and fish were excellent, but the other side dishes were too sweet for me to eat. Having an à la carte breakfast option is very appealing, but both the chicken nanban and the steak were quite low in quality, which was very disappointing. Otherwise everything was great, so when I come to Miyazaki I would definitely like to stay here again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    Back in Miyazaki after a long time

    We stayed here with our children while traveling from Fukuoka to Kagoshima and Miyazaki. The staff were very attentive in every way, and it’s a Hotel we would love to stay at again. We were able to relax for the first time in a while. The meals were delicious, and when we visit Miyazaki again, we plan to stay here. Thank you very much!

    A close-knit group of friends

    The calm atmosphere and relaxing space were wonderful. We had the Miyazaki beef course with teppanyaki abalone. The abalone was large and tender, and the meat was excellent. The wine was delicious despite being reasonably priced. My friend who stayed with me also praised it highly and said they want to stay again next year.

    I stayed here last time as well, and if you’re in Miyazaki, this is definitely the place. There’s always a message left in the Room, and this time it said “Welcome back.” It made me very happy. I will definitely stay here again next time.

    The teppanyaki was delicious.

    This was my first time staying here. I was able to relax in a spacious Room. It was great to be able to enjoy a variety of alcoholic drinks in the lounge, and the free beverages in the Room refrigerator were a nice bonus. Above all, the Miyazaki beef teppanyaki dinner was outstanding. It was disappointing that the bath was not an Onsen, but the jacuzzi felt wonderful. I would like to stay here again.

    The Facility’s design and layout are top-class.

    The Room furnishings, bath, and layout were all top-class. However, when I entered the Room, I noticed a cigarette smell and asked to be moved to another Room. Since there is an ashtray on the terrace and smoking is allowed there, I suspect a previous guest smoked in the Room with an IQOS or similar device. I think it would be better to separate smoking Rooms and non-smoking Rooms. After check-in, changing Rooms took time, and I ended up wasting time unnecessarily.

    love to onsen travel

    Maybe I expected too much, since it was designed by Kengo Kuma.

    There was no sense of excitement when entering the Hotel—it felt too stark. If you call that “stylish,” then I suppose that’s the word for it. For some reason, the lobby lounge also didn’t feel relaxing, so even with free-flow drinks, I didn’t feel like taking my time there. I wouldn’t mind if it were positioned as an upscale Business Hotel, but it didn’t seem worth the price. Sorry for the harsh review.

    An Extraordinary Experience

    It was my first stay, and it was a very lovely hotel. On the day of arrival, my room was upgraded, allowing me to relax in a spacious room. The teppanyaki dinner was also delightful in a quiet setting, and the conversation with the chef made it even more enjoyable. Both my spouse and I were extremely satisfied! I would definitely like to use this accommodation again when I visit next time. Thank you very much!

    The service was excellent.

    The issue was not with the accommodation but with the guest; however, I did notice a slight stain on the carpet in the room, and some people might find the dryness from 24-hour ventilation uncomfortable. The female staff member who assisted us during dinner provided excellent service, making me want to visit again. I also appreciated that there were plenty of vegetables in the meals. It would have been even better if items like dressings were homemade. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

    Everything is excellent.

    Everything was excellent. New, clean, delicious meals, and close to the city. The staff provided pleasant service. I would want to visit Miyazaki just to stay here. We brought our 0-year-old baby, and both the room and dining area were thoughtfully arranged for us, which we greatly appreciated. It was an accommodation that makes you want to come back again.

    It was comfortable, like a resort.

    I arrived 30 minutes earlier than the check-in time and planned to rest in the lobby, but they kindly allowed me to complete the check-in process. Later, I realized that my Plan had a 4:00 PM check-in time, so they let me check in an hour and a half early. Thank you so much for your kindness. I didn’t know there was such a resort-like Hotel just slightly away from Miyazaki Station. Drinks in the lounge were complimentary, as well as items in the room’s refrigerator, including a full bottle of rosé sparkling wine. I had an incredibly comfortable stay.

    Perfect for alcohol enthusiasts!

    I stayed at an elegant hotel near Miyazaki Station. Despite the noise with my three children, the staff responded kindly and professionally. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. The lounge offered juice and snacks, which made them very happy. There was also a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including beer, shochu, and whiskey, along with excellent snacks to pair with them (though this might just be because I love alcohol!). The food was incredibly delicious. The Miyazaki beef was so tender that it left a lasting impression. Breakfast offered a variety of choices between Japanese and Western dishes, both of which were excellent. Although we were in a rush during our stay, I would love to come back for a more relaxed visit next time!

    It was comfortable.

    The Room, the building, and the grounds with landscaping reminiscent of Nezu Museum were all enveloped in a pleasant atmosphere. The Room featured a jacuzzi bath, which was soothing for tired legs after exploring.

    Adult Resort Hotel

    When thinking of Resort Hotels in Miyazaki, only high-rise hotels came to mind, but I found this recommended on IKYU and decided to stay. The architecture by Kengo Kuma was, of course, outstanding, but the rooms, amenities, and meals were also excellent. As an adult resort, I hope it continues to provide such a wonderful space in the future.

    Breakfast and dinner were excellent.

    Originally from Miyazaki and currently living in Tokyo, I recently traveled back to Miyazaki and stayed at this Hotel for the first time. Highlights: - Both breakfast and dinner at Forest were excellent. The dinner course featuring seafood and Miyazaki beef teppanyaki was delicious and reasonably priced. The beef tasted so good that it reaffirmed the idea that it should be enjoyed in Miyazaki. - The Room was new, spacious, with a large bathroom. The toilet in the Room was exceptional. Areas for improvement: - The air conditioning weakened during the night, making it hot. - The restroom along the corridor between the lounge and Forest wasn’t well-maintained, with seat sanitizer wipes empty on both days. - While Bulgari amenities are luxurious, I found the shampoo too strong and its scent leaning towards masculine, which didn’t suit my personal preference.

    Stylish for any occasion!

    The stay was absolutely satisfying in every aspect. On the day of our visit, there was a local junior high school graduation party, and the next day, a wedding ceremony was held. It made us feel how much this accommodation is loved by the local community, and we understood why. The atmosphere was calm, all the staff were pleasant, and every scene—from light meals in the lounge to teppanyaki dinner and breakfast in an open space—was stylish and inviting enough to make us want to return. The library was an incredibly luxurious space that we highly recommend exploring during your stay. We believe its reputation will continue to rise even further in the future.

    The tatami mats in the Japanese-style room were old and had an unpleasant smell, but everything else was great!
