    I love the breakfast.

    Located close to Asakusa Subway Station and less than a 1-minute walk to Kaminarimon, this property offers an extremely convenient location. The front desk service is also excellent. The highlight is the breakfast, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice, which is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

    I stayed on the day of the fireworks festival. I didn't expect to see them so up close, and it was truly amazing. The staff were very kind, and although I knew there would be free drinks & food, the variety exceeded my expectations with desserts and more—it was all delicious and satisfying. This is a Hotel I would love to stay at again.

    It was quiet and pleasant.

    There are supermarkets and convenience stores around the Hotel, and you can enjoy the illuminated view of Tokyo Skytree. The Hotel was quiet and comfortable. The semi-double bed had a good firmness, allowing for a relaxing stay.

    We booked a dinner a...

    We booked a dinner at the restaurant to celebrate the Coming-of-Age ceremony and an 80th birthday, and stayed at the accommodation for my elderly mother. The view from the lobby included Tokyo Skytree, and when going up to the terrace on the floor above, which usually requires stairs, staff kindly allowed us to use a service elevator for my elderly mother. The view from the terrace was stunning, and we were able to take some wonderful photos. In our room, there were gifts from the hotel for both celebrations—the Coming-of-Age and 80th birthday—which delighted both my daughter and mother. Thank you very much!

    Strengths and challenges coexist.

    The location was excellent and very convenient. It would have been nice to have cleansing products and lotion in the Room. The Room was compact but clean. However, after it became bright in the morning, I opened the sliding door of the unit bath entrance and found a lot of black mold above around 180 cm height. I was also concerned about the smell of rust from the towels. The breakfast was delicious, and I appreciated being able to drink freshly squeezed orange juice. Using a Balmuda toaster to toast bread allowed me to enjoy warm and tasty bread, which was delightful.

    Perfect for sightseeing in Asakusa

    The front desk is located on the top floor, offering an amazing view! Kaminarimon is just diagonally in front, and I enjoyed a morning visit to Senso-ji Temple.

    I wanted to take a commemorative photo in front of the Kaminarimon Gate at Senso-ji Temple. I found an available room four days before my stay and booked the accommodation. The kind and attentive service at the 13th-floor front desk was very helpful. On the 17th, it was sunny from the morning, allowing me to fulfill my wish of visiting the temple and taking photos before breakfast. Visiting Senso-ji is best on early weekday mornings. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The dinner course had generous portions, perfect for young people with big appetites to enjoy fully. On the first floor, there is a casual supermarket where you can also buy light snacks.

    The front desk staff's service was quite disappointing.

    I have dined at the restaurant multiple times and am always satisfied with the wonderful staff and excellent cuisine. However, I was disappointed by the front desk staff. Even when using the restaurant regularly, there is no greeting or smile from the front desk staff right in front of the elevator. Their lack of a welcoming attitude is disheartening. At renowned international hotels, even amidst large buildings and bustling crowds, you are greeted with a "Hello" or a nod, making for a pleasant day. A proper greeting should be standard!

    Thank you for your hospitality. About two weeks ago, I also stayed at your Ryogoku branch. Both locations have a very quiet atmosphere upon entering, and this one especially impressed me with its great view. I use this location when visiting for memorial services. The Room faced a main street but was quiet, and the early morning visit to Sensoji Temple was not crowded, making it an excellent location. The staff's service was modest but pleasant. Regarding meals, I tried them last time and found them lacking distinctive features for the price (apologies! The freshly squeezed orange juice was excellent), so I skipped them this time. As breakfast quality is improving across the whole country, I hope for some innovation here as well. I will visit again!

    The Tokyo Skytree was beautifully visible!

    I stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in a classy Room. From the window of the Room, I could see a glimpse of Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple, and the view of Tokyo Skytree was absolutely stunning. The Room was spacious and impeccably clean. Amenities such as toothbrushes and bath additives were neatly provided in the Room. As part of the Diamond Member benefits, I requested to change the sparkling wine to cream soda, which turned out to be the best cream soda I've ever had—truly delightful! The lounge on the top floor is thoughtfully equipped with lap blankets and warm air blowers to keep it cozy even in winter. The view from there was spectacular, offering an excellent sight of Tokyo Skytree. I have stayed at Gate Hotels in Kyoto Takasegawa and Ginza before, but no matter where I go, their hospitality is always exceptional. The restaurant staff were also very pleasant, making my Hotel stay truly enjoyable—I’m glad I chose Gate Hotel Kaminarimon. The coffee service for Diamond Members was impressive as well; they kindly asked me if it would be okay since "it takes time to grind fresh beans." Their attention to detail left me amazed by their impeccable service. The coffee itself was incredibly delicious—thank you so much! Next time, I plan to stay at Ryogoku's location too so that I can experience all Gate Hotels!

    I was able to relax in a Room with a bathtub. The onion gratin soup at night and the minestrone in the morning were delicious, making it a satisfying stay.

    I chose this place b...

    I chose this place because it is close to Kaminarimon (Sensoji), but the view from the room's window was not great, mostly showing building roofs. However, there was an observation space on the top floor of the hotel where you could enjoy a panoramic view, which was a plus. I had reserved a room with a bath and washing area, so I was able to enjoy a relaxing bath. Many of the staff were friendly, and since my companion was my elderly mother, they were very considerate in various ways.

    Close to Kaminarimon!

    The view from the lobby was excellent, and the view of the Skytree from the observation deck was breathtaking. The location was convenient, making it easy to go out.

    The location is good, but

    The location is ideal for sightseeing in Asakusa, being close to Kaminarimon. The floor with the front desk and the rooftop terrace offer a good view. However, I was quite concerned about the dirt and smell in the Room, though I will omit the details. I would like at least the minimum cleaning to be done. Also, there were issues such as forgetting to hand over the breakfast voucher, calling the wrong order, and the room cleaning staff trying to enter at 11:30 even though checkout is at 12:00, making it hard to say it was a very comfortable stay. I had high expectations because Kyoto Takasegawa of the same group was good, but it was disappointing.

    The breakfast was as delicious as rumored. The view from the 13th floor was also very nice, and the accommodation fee was quite reasonable. I would like to stay at this hotel again if I have the chance.

    The plumbing is damaged.

    The staff was kind and the stay was generally good. If I had to say, there was some damage around the water area. The entrance to the indoor bath was rusty. The shower was stuck and couldn't be turned, but on the second day, a staff member came and turned it with force, so it could be used. The tiles leading to the drain were cracked, which was scary. The bed and room were spacious and comfortable. The view from the room window was a building wall, but the scenery could be enjoyed from the 13th-floor lobby and the 14th floor. Most of the guests were foreigners, and the breakfast was more Western-style than Japanese-style, where you choose a main dish with foreign names, followed by a not-so-varied buffet. Coffee was served in a soup cup-like cup, and you could choose between coffee or tea. It was a bit different and enjoyable. The only concern was the bathroom in the guest room.

    Attractive location.

    I enjoyed sweets during cafe time, and they were both beautiful and delicious. The French toast at breakfast was rich in flavor, and the other dishes were also delicious. I had a view overlooking Kaminarimon and could clearly see the Skytree.

    It was wonderful.

    The service was excellent. The Hotel was spotless, and the rooms were very clean. The food was delicious, and it was the most satisfying Hotel I've stayed at recently. I wanted to give all 5 stars, but I rated the room and amenities 4 stars because I would have been happier if there was a body sponge or body towel for washing. I would love to use it again next time. Thank you for making it a wonderful stay.

    Excellent access and comfort

    I stayed for the first time, and it's close to Asakusa Station. With Kaminarimon right in front and a view of Tokyo Skytree from the room, it's a nice location. The hotel staff's service was excellent, and enjoying a drink while gazing at the wonderful night view from the rooftop was the best. The breakfast, which had high reviews, was more delicious than expected. I would definitely like to use it again next time.

    Completed all three The Gate Hotel by HULIC in Tokyo.

    I went sightseeing in Tokyo during the three-day weekend in September. Upon arrival, the staff mentioned, "You're staying at the hotel in Yurakucho, right?" but it was actually my third hotel. I stayed in Yurakucho, then Ryogoku, and finally Asakusa. I ended up staying at all of them because I really liked the hotel in Yurakucho. During my stay in Asakusa, the staff immediately recommended a delicious ramen shop, which I tried and was very satisfied with. They also told me about the dorayaki shop "Kameju," so I decided to line up there the next morning. I also lined up to enter the nearby "Gyukatsu" restaurant, which was delicious. The location was really convenient, being close to Kaminarimon. I was able to fully enjoy Asakusa. I usually just pass through Asakusa, but this time, staying there allowed me to experience the quiet early morning atmosphere and visit many famous shops, which was very satisfying. Next time, I want to bring my mother and enjoy a leisurely morning in Asakusa. The staff were all very kind and helpful. Thank you very much.
