    I would like to stay here again.

    This was my second stay at Kaminarimon. I was very satisfied with the Room, breakfast, and the staff’s service. I would like to stay here again when I visit Tokyo.

    I love HULIC.

    I’ve stayed at other HULIC properties in Ginza and Ryogoku, and this Asakusa location was just as great—excellent location, outstanding service, and top-notch hospitality. As always with HULIC, the rooftop terrace is fantastic, and seeing Tokyo Skytree while enjoying the evening breeze was amazing. I’d love to stay again!

    In a very Asakusa-like location with Kaminarimon right below, and the breakfast smoothies were delicious. The staff were also very kind.

    A Hotel with Stunning Views

    I love Tokyo’s night views, so I choose places to stay with beautiful scenery at night. I stayed in the Ryogoku area a few years ago and was impressed by the rooftop terrace night view. Since then, I’ve wanted to visit the Kaminarimon area someday. The rooftop night views are hard to compare! However, the views from the lobby and restaurant were even more impressive here. Just one thing: I sat in a back seat at breakfast, but there was no 안내 about where to find drinks like orange juice near the counter right after entering. I only noticed on my way out and felt disappointed. The IKYU Platinum benefit—unlimited coffee at the restaurant anytime for two days—was an excellent perk. I’d be happy if other hotels offered this benefit too! This is a hotel I definitely want to visit again.

    The GATE Kaminarimon is the best.

    The GATE Hotel is a highly satisfying Hotel that truly understands what Hotel lovers appreciate, and the best part is Kaminarimon.

    Very close to Kaminarimon Gate.

    Since it was our first time, we were worried whether it would be close enough to where we wanted to go, but that turned out to be unnecessary. Kaminarimon, Senso-ji Temple, Asakusa Engei Hall, dining spots, the Hotel, and the station—everything was in an ideal location for a couple in their 70s. As a bonus, the terrace was wonderful: we could see the beautifully illuminated Tokyo Skytree with hardly anything blocking the view. We couldn’t help thinking how lucky guests must be to stay here during the fireworks festival and see what it looks like then. The price was reasonable, and although there were many international guests, everyone was very well-mannered. The Room isn’t large, but it didn’t feel cramped. Voices from the hallway and the sound of the neighboring door opening and closing were noticeable at times, but still within an acceptable range.

    Fun Memories

    We stayed to celebrate my father’s 80th birthday and my parents’ 55th wedding anniversary. You prepared so many thoughtful surprises—celebration cards, gifts, a cake, and more—and my parents were truly delighted. The view from the bar terrace and from our Room was wonderful. Breakfast was also luxurious, with a wide variety of breads and Échiré butter. We would love to stay again. Thanks to all the staff, it became a very special memory for us. Thank you very much.

    We had a beautiful view of Kaminarimon Gate and Tokyo Skytree.

    It was close to the station, and we passed by the side of the crowded Senso-ji Temple. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast of minestrone soup and French toast.

    Immerse yourself in Asakusa.

    It was my first return visit in a while. This time, I made a Reservation for a Plan with great views overlooking Senso-ji Temple. The view exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely like to stay in this Room again. The view from the lobby on the upper floors is also outstanding. At breakfast, I enjoyed a delicious half-buffet while taking in the scenery. You can also see Tokyo Skytree from the rooftop, which really added to the travel experience. The location is right in the heart of Asakusa, making sightseeing extremely convenient. Nakamise Street was packed with tourists, but once you step into this Hotel, it feels like a different world—one of the reasons I love it. The atmosphere and the staff service are calm, attentive, and excellent. I would love to stay here again. Thank you in advance when I return.

    It’s a wonderful memory from my trip to Tokyo.

    On our previous stay, my son and I had a wonderful experience, so this time I made a Reservation for a two-man trip for my son and his childhood friend. Just like last time, we were truly impressed by the front desk staff’s service. They also accommodated the Diamond member benefits, and we left saying, “If we ever come to Tokyo again, we’ll definitely stay here!” They said the melon soda while looking at Tokyo Skytree was delicious. His friend was happy too, and my son felt very proud. Even though they are university students, you treated them sincerely and with great care without cutting corners. We may be staying with you again from time to time in the future, and we appreciate your continued support.

    Convenient.

    Thank you for your hospitality. We stayed for two nights. On the first day it was rainy and we couldn’t see the view, but on the second day Tokyo Skytree and Kaminarimon felt close enough to touch. It was wonderful. Breakfast was very delicious, but because bread came with the selectable dishes, we couldn’t eat the other bread that was available. That was disappointing, so I rated it 4. It’s a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

    Stunning night views and an exceptional bar.

    I have stayed here multiple times. Enjoying the night view from the rooftop while relaxing at the bar counter is always a highlight of my stay. I highly recommend trying the chocolate platter! The orange peel chocolate is absolutely amazing.

    The Gate Hotel Tokyo...

    The Gate Hotel Tokyo has been my choice several times, but this was my first stay at Kaminarimon. Not only is the access and location excellent, but the Room was also clean and well-prepared, the breakfast delicious, and I had a very pleasant stay. Above all, every staff member was incredibly friendly, kind, and attentive in their service, making me an instant fan! I look forward to visiting again in a different season. Thank you very much!

    Everything was good except for the bathroom cleaning.

    The cleaning of the water facilities was not done properly, and the mold was concerning and unpleasant. It was disappointing, especially since The Gate Hotel in Hakata was very clean. However, the location and views (from the lobby and rooftop bar) are excellent. From the Room on the 7th floor, only the neighboring building is visible.

    It was very comfortable, and we were well taken care of.

    We stayed here during our year-end family trip. The quiet atmosphere inside the property felt like a completely different world from the bustling streets of Asakusa, and the view from the lobby was stunning. The Room was not particularly spacious but had a stylish and efficient design, making our stay very comfortable. The separate bath and toilet were especially appreciated. After breakfast, my wife suddenly felt unwell and couldn't stand, so she had to lie down in the lobby, causing some inconvenience. However, we were deeply grateful for the thoughtful care provided by both the front desk and restaurant staff. Thank you for taking care of us. We would love to stay here again!

    The view from the Ro...

    The view from the Room was terrible. Cleaning seemed incomplete; there was hair on the sleepwear, soap scum in the bathtub, and water left in the coffee maker. The front desk staff were very kind and pleasant, but... It’s disappointing.

    A Wonderful Stay

    I am truly glad we chose this hotel for what might be my elderly mother's last trip to Tokyo. The staff's pleasant and kind service, as well as their polite language, were exceptional. The room was well-appointed, and the nightwear was extremely comfortable. Both the main dishes we could choose from and the buffet-style breakfast ingredients were incredibly delicious. I would love to stay here again.

    It was comfortable.

    The bathroom includes a washing area, allowing for a relaxing experience. The view from the terrace was fantastic, with sights of Tokyo Skytree, Senso-ji Temple, and Kaminarimon. While the breakfast menu is not extensive, it was delicious. The location is convenient and close to the station, so I would love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    Exclusive Bar for Accommodation Guests

    After returning to the Hotel following dinner outside, I enjoyed a nightcap at the exclusive bar on the 14th floor. The view from the 14th floor was stunning, and there was a wide variety of drinks to choose from, allowing me to relax and take in the scenery. I didn’t have breakfast this time, so I look forward to enjoying a meal during my next stay.

    Enjoy the Bar

    Enjoyed a 2-night, 3-day stay in Asakusa. The room was spacious and comfortable. At the bar, they made my favorite drinks, so I visited for two consecutive days. The food was also delicious. It would have been even better if cleansing products and face wash were provided. I would love to stay here again when visiting Asakusa!

    The view from the wi...

    The view from the window is Senso-ji Temple. The comfortable bed provided a restful sleep. The coffee from the Diamond benefits was so delicious that I didn’t even use the coffee machine in the Room. The front desk service is excellent.

    Simply the best!

    Plans changed, so it was just a one-night stay, but everything was as excellent as ever. Thank you to all the staff for your sincere and thoughtful service. They remembered all our preferences, which made us extremely satisfied. This time, we tried breakfast for the first time, and it exceeded its great reputation! The main dishes were fantastic, but the buffet quality was exceptionally high—hot dishes were served hot, salads were fresh, and even the fruits were perfect. I’ll definitely visit again whenever I find some free time. It’s in an ideal location for Asakusa sightseeing, but even staying in your Room offers 100% satisfaction. Highly recommended!

    I stayed for one nig...

    I stayed for one night to enjoy sightseeing in Asakusa, even though I live in Tokyo. The hotel is conveniently located near the station and Senso-ji Temple, with a supermarket right next door, making it comfortable even in hot weather. I visited Senso-ji Temple in the evening and early the next morning to avoid crowds. The room was compact but clean and well-equipped with amenities. With a checkout time of 11:00 AM, I could relax without rushing. Breakfast was a buffet where you could choose your main dish, freshly prepared and served to you. From the lobby, restaurant, and rooftop terrace, you can enjoy stunning views of Tokyo Skytree and Asakusa's cityscape—it was truly mesmerizing!

    I haven't decided when I'll visit Tokyo, but I've already chosen this Hotel to stay at.

    I have stayed here several times, but it had been about three years since my last visit. (The gap was partly due to COVID-19.) As always, the perfect balance of comfort and simplicity in the room's interior and facilities made for a truly pleasant stay. When I entered the room, I couldn't help but think to myself, "Ah... this place really is wonderful. I'm so glad to be back." (Even though it's just one night every few years!) The bar here is absolutely fantastic and one of my favorites. At check-in, they mentioned, "The bar is open tonight as well," which felt like they knew how much I love it! After settling into my room, I headed straight to the bar. Sitting there with a view of Tokyo Skytree as usual, I found myself wondering how many more times I'll get to enjoy this place... The selection included wine and new tonic water options—while evolving over time, the familiar atmosphere remained intact. It was such a delightful experience. Breakfast featured some new menu items that weren't available three years ago; everything was delicious! The cool design of the rooms and hotel interiors combined with just the right level of hospitality from smiling staff members make this place perfect for me—and likely for many others too. Although opportunities to visit Tokyo have decreased recently and I don't yet know when I'll go next, I've already decided that this will be my accommodation again when I do return. Thank you always for providing such a comfortable space!
