    Healing

    My husband and I travel as a couple about three times a year. With our children now independent as working adults, we cherish the time we spend together, so I always plan our trips and we set off on our journeys. Each time, we create wonderful memories. This time, the property we stayed at was exceptional, offering a special yet relaxing experience. The meals were Japanese cuisine, with excellent ingredients and flavors that were also visually delightful. Conversations across the counter were very enjoyable. The staff's service was excellent. The guest room had a warm atmosphere, allowing us to spend a leisurely time. We enjoyed the mall onsen for the first time, and it was delightful to experience it multiple times. The meals, guest room, and service were all highly satisfying. It has become a property we want to visit repeatedly.

    It was a satisfying stay. The food was delicious, and the moor Onsen was wonderful. The Shuttle Service was accommodating to our preferred times, which was helpful. All the staff were great. However, I thought it would have been nice to have a full-length mirror in the Room.

    It was a wonderful Stays.

    The quality of the onsen with free-flowing hot spring water, exquisite cuisine, well-equipped amenities, and the comfort of the service made it a wonderful property in every aspect. Although it is not a property to enjoy so-called spectacular views, it is understandable why many people are captivated and give it high ratings. I felt very healed and energized. I would like to visit again.

    Girls' trip

    A hotel with only six rooms During check-in and check-out at the front desk, during meals, and in the lounge, it is completely quiet and peaceful. It gives the impression of a hot spring inn for adults. The structure evokes a sense of nostalgia and has a homely atmosphere. Our room was a Japanese-Western style room with a massage chair. The room was clean and very tidy. The Japanese-style room had a heated sunken kotatsu, which was great—we could relax slowly. The amenities, which are a delight for women, were also well-stocked. The room had a scenic bath, and the private bath was an open-air bath. Since it was a private bath, we didn't have to worry about others and had a space just for the two of us. The moor hot spring made our skin smooth just by soaking in it—it's the best. We reserved it for the evening and morning, and bathed twice, which was very satisfying! Dinner was a French course. The chef cooked, plated, and explained the dishes right in front of us. The appearance, the dishes, and the taste were all beyond our imagination and impressive. It was very delicious. (We usually have Japanese kaiseki, so) Next time, I would like to try the Japanese kaiseki for dinner. We were very satisfied with the moor hot spring and the food! It has become a hotel we definitely want to stay at again.

    A wonderful hotel just as the reviews said.

    I used this place during my summer vacation while visiting my family home in Hokkaido. It was my first time in Shiraoi. The hot springs and meals are truly luxurious. I sincerely hope they continue to offer the highest level of hospitality with a limited number of rooms. I had a wonderful time chatting with the chef during the meal. The Shiraoi beef, which I tried for the first time, was not greasy, and both my husband and I, who often suffer from indigestion, were pleasantly surprised. Each of the local vegetables was delicious. As for improvements, I would like to see more effort put into the lounge. Another point is that it would be better to retake and increase the number of room photos. The room was much more beautiful than it appeared in the photos, which I thought was a shame. I look forward to visiting again.

    Completely convinced by the high ratings in the reviews!

    It was my first time experiencing a moor hot spring. As reputed, it made my skin feel smooth. The size and facilities of the open-air bath were more than satisfactory. If I were to express a wish, it would be that since the dark color of the moor hot spring made it almost impossible to see inside the bathtub, which was a bit scary, it would be helpful to have lights inside the bathtub like a night pool. The entire facility and rooms were thoroughly cleaned, and the toilets and washrooms were so clean that I wondered if they were renovated every year. There were plenty of amenities, and the ReFa hairdryer and showerhead were comfortable to use. The meals were perfect with fresh vegetables, meticulous preparation, seasoning, presentation, and grilling—all suited my taste. The champagne and wine pairing was selected at a reasonable price, which I enjoyed. The style of dining was a full course while listening to the chef's explanation at the live kitchen. I later realized that perhaps they served me first from the middle of the course because I eat slowly to match the pace of others. However, I was in the mood of dining at a round table, so I leisurely waited until everyone received their plates. I apologize for that. Even though I just returned, I'm already enjoying thinking about which season would be best for a revisit and what I might have. It was a stay that became a motivation to work hard. Thank you very much.
