    Repeat

    The dishes made with ingredients from Aomori Prefecture were very delicious. The staff's explanations were clear and polite. The Onsen, though near Sukayu, is colorless, transparent, and odorless, leaving you warm even after getting out. One downside is the lack of an elevator, which may not be suitable for elderly guests with mobility issues. Overall, it’s a highly satisfying Hotel that I would love to visit again!

    It was a very satisfying trip.

    I visited Hakkoda in winter with a friend, wanting to escape to another world. Although the check-in condition was at 5 o'clock, we were allowed to enter early. The maisonette room was lovely and had underfloor heating, so we didn't feel cold at all. The Onsen had very soft water, completely different from the nearby Sukayu Onsen. It was at a perfect temperature that allowed us to stay in for as long as we wanted. The next day, we also visited Sukayu Onsen and enjoyed both experiences. The food was truly delicious (especially the breakfast was superb!). The hotel staff kindly spoke to me as I had injured my foot, making it a wonderful refreshing trip. I will definitely visit again next time.

    Satisfied with delicious meals

    The carefully prepared meals were very delicious. The staff were also very kind. I was pleased with the thoughtful touch of having covers for the toilet seats. The Shuttle Service to Aomori Station was also a delightful service.

    Excellent hospitality and delicious food

    I was caught up in a transportation trouble this time, but I am truly grateful for the flexible response and the very warm hospitality I received. The room, onsen, meals, and service were all very satisfactory. The onsen is low in mineral content, so it might not be enough for those who like traditional onsens, but it is very pleasant and unlikely to cause dizziness from the heat. You can enjoy delicious local cuisine with the meals. I thought there were many dishes that go well with sake in particular. Since it was winter this time, I would like to visit again in early summer or so next time.

    I would like to stay again.

    The staff is friendly and helpful. The meals are delicious. The location is good, and the shuttle bus is convenient to Hakkoda Ski Resort.

    The Facility feels a...

    The Facility feels a bit old (the Wi-Fi and TV connection were unstable, possibly due to the heavy snow?), but the delicious meals and excellent service more than made up for it. There is a relaxation room right outside the bath, where you can enjoy complimentary ice cream, beer, and massage chairs for a great cooldown. The meals, both the dinner and breakfast buffet, were all delicious, and there was a wide variety of local Aomori sake to enjoy. Despite the heavy snow that even surprised the locals, the hospitality was great, providing us with charms to ensure a safe return (thanks to which, despite numerous flight cancellations, we managed to fly back safely). I would love to visit again during a season without snow.

    One of the BEST

    About 5 minutes by bus from the "snowy Sukayu Onsen," which is often featured in the news during winter. The Stays standing in the blizzard was a wonderful Hotel that far exceeded expectations. The "Hakkoda Mountain Ropeway," which we planned to visit, was suspended due to strong winds, and we arrived a little before check-in time, but we were warmly welcomed. The maisonette-type Room had a very calm atmosphere with warm indirect lighting in both the bedroom and living room. The closet had loungewear, pajamas, and slippers. The table was set with coffee, tea, and bottled water. One-third of the window, which was double-layered, was covered with snow, and large icicles hung from the eaves. Outside was a blizzard. It felt like we had wandered into a fairy tale world surrounded by a monochrome world. As recommended by the front desk, we immediately went to the Onsen. The only winter open-air bath in Hakkoda. While soaking in the bath surrounded by heaps of snow, we tried making a small snowman. Looking up, powder snow like diamonds fell from the silver sky. What a luxurious time. There was also a mist sauna in the bathhouse, and we warmed up thoroughly both physically and mentally. After bathing, we lay on a massage chair, ate ice cream (free), and completely escaped from everyday life. Dinner in the dining room with a lit fireplace was a Japanese meal carefully prepared by the chef. Together with Aomori sake. However, for us food lovers, the portion was a bit small, and it was a little disappointing that we couldn't order additional dishes later. But the Hotel staff who served us talked a lot about the Hotel and surrounding sightseeing, and when we said we wanted to take the sake back to our Room, they kindly lent us a beautiful Aomori Vidro glass. Such warm hospitality left our hearts completely satisfied. Breakfast included not only Aomori's local cuisine but also sashimi! We ate to our heart's content. Since it was a one-night stay from Sunday, there weren't many people. Therefore, it was a time of ultimate relaxation. The Hotel is said to be bustling with mountain ski tours from now on. Surely, in other seasons as well, you can enjoy fulfilling times with wonderful nature. Magnificent nature and warm hospitality. It's a simple Property, but it was one of the BEST Stays that was fully satisfying.

    I used the property ...

    I used the property with my parents, intending to show filial piety. It is not a property with the latest facilities, but I think it is a place where you can relax and unwind. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very delicious, and my parents were pleased. Thank you very much. I have found a property I would like to use again.

    The breakfast is excellent at the Hotel!

    The kaiseki dinner was very delicious, and following that, the breakfast buffet was also exceptionally tasty. There was an abundant variety! I believe every guest indulged in the delicious-looking dishes, perhaps eating a bit too much from the morning. Good food makes the trip even more enjoyable, so it was very satisfying.

    Hotel Amidst Autumn Foliage

    Pros: - Great location surrounded by autumn foliage. - Breakfast offers a wide variety of options. - The Onsen is relatively uncrowded and comfortable. Cons: - Room facilities are outdated, and the toilet is positioned directly in front of the bed, which may be inconvenient for those sensitive to noise or layout. - Dinner quality seems reduced despite high-season pricing; acceptable during regular seasons. - The sink is not separate and is located right next to the toilet.

    Overall, a good Stays.

    One of the pleasures of travel is the food, and it was satisfying for us food lovers. We enjoyed the chef's sensibly curated menu. The rice ice cream at the end of dinner was both unusual and delicious. The highlights of breakfast were the lasagna, apple pie, muscat grapes, and the unsweetened omelet. We were delighted with the chef's international menu. Thank you very much.

    Maisonette comfortable

    I was able to use a last-minute discount and Ikkyu points to enjoy my first stay in a maisonette at a great price. The staff's attitude was also pleasant. It would be even better if there was a private bath. I was happy with the massage chair as well. Next time, I want to stay with three people. A good memory was when I helped an elderly couple who missed the shuttle bus between the Hakkoda Ropeway Station and other hotels by giving them a ride in my car.

    I vow to revisit

    Arrived at a hotel room that somehow feels like it has depth and "something beyond." After exploring the room, we immediately headed to the hot spring. Unlike the previous night's Sukayu Onsen, this one had a gentle and moist quality. Then, the much-anticipated meal. This was our fourth night in Aomori Prefecture, and it was truly wonderful. Aomori's local cuisine and specialties were prepared with a delightful concept and careful preparation. (Personal preferences include the ingredients for hoba-yaki, the vegetables in the lidded dish, pickles, soup, and for breakfast, the Dake corn soup, yam salad, and omelet, etc.) The heartfelt hospitality of the staff (such as responding to questions and requests about the introduction of sake) made for a very satisfying stay. Unfortunately, due to the cloudy and rainy weather, we couldn't enjoy the starry night sky we were looking forward to, so we talked with my companion about wanting to visit again as we headed home. Thank you very much.
