    Fireworks view from the Room is amazing!

    I was lucky to make a Reservation during the additional schedule for the Atami Sea Fireworks Festival. I enjoyed dinner while watching the fireworks, and every dish was delicious. After that, I watched the fireworks festival from my Room. Seeing the fireworks from a different height than usual was amazing. I would love to visit again if I have another opportunity. Thank you very much!

    Thanks to everyone, it was a wonderful Hotel stay!

    We stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast included from May 24th for two people. From the operator's assistance before our stay to the final checkout, everyone was truly wonderful, and we were deeply impressed! When we inquired on the morning of our stay about preparing a birthday plate for dinner, they kindly agreed to prepare it with a chocolate plate. The staff at Atami Station who handled the shuttle bus reception, those at check-in, and those who assisted with the gelato activity all provided service with such warm smiles that made us feel great! (We tried Kuon and gelato as recommended—so delicious!) During dinner, the male staff member attending to us maintained just the right distance between being attentive yet unobtrusive, making it very comfortable. At Hoshino Resorts, we noticed how multi-tasking their young staff members are during our stay. Despite their youthfulness, every single one of them demonstrated exceptional hospitality skills that left us amazed. Thank you so much!

    Child-friendly space

    There are plenty of spaces where children can have fun, and the property is well-equipped with amenities and services that families will appreciate. The staff were kind, making our time here very enjoyable. The only downside was the noticeable food crumbs around the base of the restaurant tables, but everything else was perfect. Thank you!

    Three-Generation Trip

    We stayed here to celebrate our grandchild's birthday. The room was spacious and allowed us to relax, and we enjoyed the pool, bouldering facilities, and Onsen within the facility. Our whole family had a wonderful time. Thank you to the staff for their kindness. We would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    Anniversary Trip for Couples

    Impressed by the warm welcome and valet parking service upon arrival! The view of the ocean and Atami city from every guest room, Onsen, and other facilities is absolutely stunning! We were touched by the Happy Anniversary sweets prepared for our special occasion during dinner. The front desk staff and service team were always smiling, kind, and attentive, making us feel at home. It was a perfect stay filled with joy, gratitude, and wonderful memories—looking forward to visiting again!

    No BS broadcasting available.

    The Room was spacious and well-cleaned. There are many facilities and ideas for children, so I would like to bring my grandchildren next time. However, while many luxury Hotels offer BS channels on TV, this one does not. Channels like Major League Baseball or CNN are commonly desired by many guests, so it would be appreciated if this could be addressed.

    I visited with my sister and my niece, who is in the second grade. The forest activities were abundant, and the beachside café was absolutely lovely, creating wonderful memories within the Hotel. Staying entirely within the Hotel meant no travel time, which was efficient and reassuring, with a consistent atmosphere throughout. The meal at the restaurant "Hanabi" and the breakfast buffet were also excellent. Both the restaurant and Room were spacious, so even when crowded, it didn’t feel uncomfortable. However, some may find it bothersome that the bath can get crowded depending on the time of day.

    Looking forward to it again!

    We stayed here to celebrate a family member's 70th birthday. It was so wonderful that one night and two days felt too short. We would love to visit again for another family celebration. Both my wife and daughter also said they want to come back. Thank you very much!

    A hotel where families can relax

    The exterior is old, but the interior has been renovated and was clean. The corner room on the top floor offered a great view of the city of Atami. The breakfast buffet had a limited selection, which might get boring for a Multiple Night Stay. The dinner during the fireworks was delicious. Since we had a toddler with us, we used the childcare Facility and were able to enjoy a leisurely dinner. The childcare staff on the 28th was excellent, and our child got attached and wanted to stay longer, LOL. There were many facilities where we could enjoy with our child, which was great. However, it was disappointing to find quite a bit of dust accumulated under the window behind the bed in the room.

    Autumn Trip

    Last year, we stayed here and my child had a great time, so we decided to stay again this year. They noticed the changes and the things that remained the same at Risonare Atami, and seemed to love everything about it. The experience of making desserts as a pastry chef at the restaurant also became a wonderful memory. Thank you to all the staff for listening to my child's stories. They are already saying they want to stay here again next year. You have truly captured my child's heart. The meals were also very delicious. Thank you very much.

    Third time use

    This time, we stayed in the Terrace Suite. My first-grade son was so excited just with the Room! From check-in to check-out, we enjoyed both indoors and outdoors so much that there wasn't enough time. Adults were also able to refresh in the spacious Room and Onsen. For dinner, since we were with children, we chose the buffet, and everything was delicious and satisfying. We would like to use it again.

    Recommended for families with children

    I stayed with my husband. The building was beautifully renovated, the private room was spacious, and the view from the room was excellent. There were many young female staff members, and they all worked with a smile. However, since it is designed for families with children, the bath in the large public bath was shallow, and the temperature was lukewarm. For adults who love Onsen, it was a bit lacking. I don't think we will repeat our stay as a couple.

    Honestly disappointed

    At Hoshino Resort, we have used Kai, but this was our first time at Risonare. We went with the expectation that the activities were abundant and the children would be delighted. Upon arrival, we were a bit surprised by the aging exterior of the Hotel. The lobby and front desk are nicely presented, but the reuse of facilities such as elevators and pools is quite noticeable. Moreover, the Facility is extremely hot. The staff, who seem to be employees, provide excellent service, but those in orange clothing, possibly part-timers, lack friendliness and appear rough. We booked an ocean view suite at a considerable price, but the Room seems to use the previous hotel's furnishings, with mirrors and kitchen lighting giving off a Showa era vibe. The floor lamp in the Room is surprisingly made by National. The dirt on the bathroom and water fixtures is noticeable, and the cracks are poorly patched. There are spider webs outside the hallway windows, and the balcony sashes are dirty. The effort to make it look stylish felt exhausting. Many activities require advance Reservation, and since children’s moods and wake-up times are unpredictable, it would be more family-friendly if they were more flexible. In the end, we left without participating in any activities. Additionally, I found the tableware at the meals cute, so I visited the shop thinking they might be for sale, but was disappointed to find only sweets. The posters and paintings displayed in the Hotel were cute, and I thought they should sell those too. There is an Onsen next to the pool, and being able to go directly to the bath in swimwear after swimming was nice, and the view of Atami was wonderful. But that was about it. As for the meals, how can they be okay with serving salad with discolored vegetables? Honestly, it felt like Hoshino Resort was cutting corners and not putting in much effort. I will never stay at Risonare again, nor will I recommend it to others. If it's Atami, it doesn't have to be here. I hope this is helpful to someone.

    Whether to accept the unique Hoshino style that doesn't even have a Hotel leaflet

    First of all, the hospitality of all the staff was wonderful, and I was greeted by the staff not only at the reception but also from the entrance to the restaurant and even the cleaning staff. I thought it was indeed the Hoshino Group. However, ① when setting the navigation normally, I was forced onto a terrifying slope. Not only me, but others also mentioned this. It would be helpful if the website could provide points to turn from the main road. ② The room and the window frames of the children's play space were covered in cobwebs, even on the outside. ③ At the 6000 yen dinner buffet, there were no decent juices or colas, and no fruits at all, which was surprising, and it was specifically declared to be a 90-minute limit. ④ There were no notepads or usable ballpoint pens in the room. ⑤ The existing building seems to have been renovated, but the age was noticeable, and the fittings were falling off. ⑥ Above all, the strong stance of not being able to cancel the reservation once made is sad. ⑦ The restaurant venue's floor was tiered in three levels, and although it was supposed to enjoy the view outside the window, the large wall with a wave motif was too high, blocking the view and creating only a sense of oppression, and the tables were dark. The good points are ① there is a freezer in the room, ② there is a laundry, ③ there is a free coffee server, ④ the handmade feel of Halloween is pleasant, ⑤ you are asked for your name instead of the room number for everything. The negatives stood out more, and I think it would be better to write honestly.
