    The breakfast venue was lovely.

    I stayed here because I couldn't return home after a work party. I chose this Hotel because the breakfast venue and buffet looked appealing. The breakfast venue, also used for weddings, had a solemn atmosphere. Many of the guests at breakfast were foreigners and elegant couples, making me feel as if I were in another country. The Room was lovely, and the bath was spacious enough to stretch out and relax. Unfortunately, being on the 4th floor meant there wasn't much of a view, but I imagine you could see Matsumoto Castle from higher floors. The parking lot was conveniently located right next to the Hotel and could be used until noon, allowing me to stroll around Nawate Street after checking out. Thank you for your hospitality! I'd love to stay again if given the chance.

    First Time in Matsumoto

    I booked through a travel site, and the Hotel exceeded my expectations. The Room was upgraded, making my first stay in Matsumoto very satisfying. However, I did notice a slightly peculiar smell upon entering the Room. If that could be resolved, it would have been even better.

    The subtle service was excellent.

    I visited with my mother and sister. When I informed them about my mother's difficulty walking, they kindly prepared a wheelchair-accessible parking space for us. Although the parking spot had the reserver's name written on it, we couldn't locate it without asking at the front desk. This required temporarily stopping the car at the entrance (possibly due to one-way traffic), which might be inconvenient during busy check-in times. The room was clean and spacious, but the TV was a bit small, and the hairdryer was quite difficult to hold. At the front desk, complimentary herbal tea was available during the day, coffee and light snacks in the morning, and we were even given salt tablets upon checkout since it was summer—this thoughtful gesture made us very happy. Since we didn’t dine at their restaurant this time, we missed out on experiencing its classic ambiance. Next time, I’d like to include meals in our stay. The location is convenient as it's close to Matsumoto Castle, within walking distance of a convenience store, and near various restaurants.

    The breakfast was excellent.

    The parking lot was very helpful. The facility is comparable to a business hotel. There is no large public bath, but the bathtub in the room is relatively spacious. Hot water was sufficient. Breakfast was carefully prepared and delicious. The scrambled eggs were not pre-made but properly cooked. Both the sausages and bacon were tasty as well. The fruits were fresh, not canned, and even included watermelon. Some may comment on the limited menu, but I found it more than enough to eat my fill. However, with current staffing shortages causing delays in replenishment, I feel it might become even more challenging during summer vacation—hope they can manage! Highly recommend the breakfast!

    The front desk staff provided excellent service.

    While the location may make it unavoidable, upon arrival, it was unclear where to park, and there were no Hotel staff present to assist. I was unsure of what to do. Normally, staff would take care of luggage and guide guests to the front desk, but no one came at all, which left me quite confused. It might be helpful to provide clear instructions for first-time visitors in advance (via email or other means). After check-in, the female front desk staff member was very kind and attentive with excellent service. She provided accurate assistance with dinner reservations and directions, which was very helpful. If I have another opportunity to visit Matsumoto in the future, this Accommodation will be my top choice again. I would also recommend it to my friends!

    Wonderful Hotel

    Stayed in a rare single room, and it was comfortable. Breakfast in the former Dai-Ichi Kangyo Bank building was elegant, with a relaxed atmosphere and delicious food.

    You can relax and unwind.

    The retro and stately exterior of the Hotel has been renovated for a comfortable stay, and breakfast in the high-ceilinged, classic-style restaurant provided an elegant experience. The Hotel is just over 10 minutes from Matsumoto Station, with Matsumoto Castle, Nawate Street shopping area, and Matsumoto City Museum of Art all within walking distance for added convenience.

    It was comfortable.

    I first stayed here last November and had a pleasant experience. The Corner Deluxe Twin was very comfortable, so this time I decided to stay for two nights to relax in Matsumoto. I stayed on the 8th floor (the top floor) in a Corner Deluxe Twin room. On the second morning, the weather wasn’t great, so the mountains to the west weren’t clearly visible, but on the third morning, I was blessed with clear skies and could enjoy a beautiful view of the mountains. The snow remaining on some of the peaks added to their charm. The overall atmosphere was calm and allowed for a peaceful stay. The location is convenient for visiting Matsumoto Castle and Yohashira Shrine, as well as strolling through Nawate Street and Nakamachi Street. The bathroom facilities were clean and one of my favorites about this place. While breakfast wasn’t particularly luxurious, it was more than sufficient and satisfying. Thank you very much!

    Comfortable and just right

    The location is within walking distance of Matsumoto Station, Matsumoto Castle, and the Matsumoto City Museum of Art. The front desk provided very pleasant service. The Room was well-equipped and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was served in a retro space with high ceilings; while the variety wasn't extensive, the delicious bread, vegetables, tofu, and other ingredients made it satisfying. (Matsumoto was my first visit, but not only this Hotel but also other Facilities and shops had a great atmosphere. The city itself was clean and inviting—I would love to visit again.)

    I had a relaxing time.

    I had an urgent computer task before check-in time and used the lobby, where they kindly prepared my check-in early. Thanks to this, I was able to work smoothly and am grateful for it. The Room was spacious with a large desk, providing a comfortable environment. Breakfast was enjoyed in a spacious hall with delicious local dishes included. I would like to use your Hotel again when revisiting Matsumoto. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Excellent location & the apple juice at breakfast is exquisite.

    Within walking distance from JR Matsumoto Station. Matsumoto Castle is very close by. It was the best location for sightseeing in Matsumoto. The Room had both a microwave and a washing machine, making it suitable for long stays. From the north window, you could see Matsumoto Castle, and from the west window, you could see the Northern Alps mountain range; it was a Room with an outstanding view. I was surprised at how incredibly cheap it was considering breakfast was included. What surprised me about the buffet-style breakfast was the apple juice. It was the most delicious apple juice I've ever had. As expected of Nagano Prefecture, known as the land of apples.

    The room was spacious, quiet, and clean.

    The breakfast buffet was mostly empty. Maybe it was just that time... There was almost no salad, sausage, or bacon. They did replenish it later, but I hope they can reduce the number of items to prevent running out of stock. I think there's no point in having a buffet. The Room was spacious, clean, and quiet, so I was satisfied.

    I was satisfied with the location, transportation convenience, and atmosphere.

    We stayed for two nights for a visit to Zenkoji Temple in Nagano and sightseeing in Azumino and Matsumoto City. The location is very convenient for visiting Matsumoto Castle and nearby tourist facilities, as well as for dinner and strolling, with most places within walking distance. The Daimyocho bus stop is also nearby, making access to the station easy. Since it was a weekday, the hotel was quiet, allowing us to enjoy a serene atmosphere. Additionally, the staff at the bridal and restaurant facilities were sophisticated and provided excellent service, attracting many guests from overseas. Breakfast is a buffet with a wide variety of Japanese and Western dishes, which was very satisfying. I would definitely recommend it to friends.

    Even vegetarians could enjoy a hearty breakfast.

    I am a vegetarian who cannot digest meat or fish and gets headaches from dairy products and sugar. The breakfast buffet offers a variety of options for vegetarians, including vegetables from local organic farmers, wasabi-flavored kelp, nozawana pickles, seaweed, delicious tofu, steamed vegetables, and sautéed mushrooms. The miso soup contains large nameko mushrooms, indicating the use of quality ingredients. It didn't have a strong bonito broth smell and was very delicious. Overall, the handmade dishes and quality ingredients provided a sense of satisfaction, and I was very pleased on both days. I felt good after eating, without any stomach or headache issues, and was able to enjoy my trip. It was great!

    Stylish Hotel

    I usually choose a hotel with a large public bath, but this time I changed the reservation to this hotel as there happened to be a vacancy. The room was clean, and the interior, such as the lights and chairs, was lovely. The room wear was also comfortable, with modern stretchy pajamas. You need to roll your luggage and walk a few minutes to the parking lot. It is noted to pull up and stop in front of the hotel before check-in, but it's difficult when traveling alone (it's almost like a no-parking zone on the street), so it might feel disappointing depending on the weather. It's a shame they don't let you park temporarily in the lot next to the hotel. The breakfast buffet was ordinarily delicious. I expected to find local specialties like soba, Sanzoku-yaki, and Oyaki, but there was nothing. I thought it would have been better to have breakfast outside instead of at the hotel. Although it's an adult-oriented hotel, there were families staying with three generations, and the restaurant was surprisingly noisy. Someone complained about the sunlight being too bright on their face, and the staff responded by closing all the electric blackout curtains, which made the entire restaurant dark, and the chandelier lights remained dim, creating a damp atmosphere. I felt some dissatisfaction here and there, but Matsumoto Castle and Nakamachi Street are nearby, and shopping at the station building and going back and forth is enjoyable. Next time, I will stay at a different hotel.

    Ideal as a base for sightseeing in Matsumoto.

    I stayed with my elderly mother. It was very convenient as it was very close to Matsumoto Castle and Nawate Street, and the bus stop from the station was right in front. The room was ordinary, but the bathtub was spacious. It was a room with a nice view, but unfortunately, the weather was not good, and we couldn't see the mountain range. The banquet hall for breakfast was also lovely. I was pleased with the drink service and bath salts in front of the front desk, as well as the staff's handmade local dining map.

    Conveniently located in the center of Matsumoto City

    Hotel located in the center of Matsumoto City, Marunouchi. The bathroom and washbasin in the room have been renovated and are very clean. The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of dishes and is very satisfying.

    Winery Tour Trip

    I used this place for a birthday trip with my husband to tour wineries in Nagano Prefecture. When I mentioned via email that I wanted to tour wineries, the manager contacted me immediately and provided various guidance. Despite being busy, they contacted me several times, making this trip wonderful. We visited wineries we wanted to go to, world-famous wineries, and newly established ones. We chartered a taxi and were able to visit various places. I fell even more in love with wine and ended up purchasing 34 bottles, giving us something to look forward to after the trip. The hotel is a bit far from the station, but there are many delicious restaurants within walking distance. The room was spacious, and we were upgraded to a room with a view of Matsumoto Castle, allowing us to relax comfortably. All the staff greeted us with smiles, making it a lovely stay. The hotel is compactly designed, but you can feel the spirit of hospitality, and I would definitely like to use it again when visiting Shinshu. Thanks to the manager's guidance, this trip became a memorable and wonderful journey. Thank you very much.
