    The view from the Room is excellent.

    This hotel offers perfect scenery for spring. However, the room was old and disappointing, especially the water facilities; the shower only trickled. The indoor bath was lukewarm, but fortunately, the semi-open-air Onsen provided a satisfying hot spring experience. Since it is simply built on a hilltop, you have to use stairs to reach it. On the bright side, rooms with ocean views offer breathtaking scenery. Right below the hotel is a row of cherry blossom trees, and during blooming season, you can enjoy unparalleled views from your room or bath. The meals are large in portion and cater more to younger guests; while not delicate in flavor, they do convey thoughtfulness in preparation. I would love to visit again if it gets renovated!

    Beyond expectations

    This is my third time staying here. The service, food, room, and Onsen are all excellent. It was a truly relaxing trip. I look forward to visiting again next year.

    It was the best hospitality.

    Upon arrival, the staff warmly welcomed us, and during the check-in process, we were delighted by the thoughtful hospitality with welcome drinks and traditional Japanese sweets. The cuisine was exquisite, featuring fresh seafood delicacies, and the view of Atami's nightscape from the private open-air bath was superb! We used the birthday plan and were touched by a small gift that accompanied it, truly impressed by their spirit of hospitality. I highly recommend this property!

    The meal we were looking forward to was very disappointing.

    Upon arrival, there was a self-service wine welcome drink, and I sat at the table feeling happy, only to be served matcha and disappointing sweets. If there was tea, I didn't need the wine. I wish they had told me at the beginning. The room and bath were quiet and very nice. The view was also good. I thought I would like to make it my regular stays. For a housewife, the most enjoyable part of a trip is the food. I was really looking forward to it because various sites had posted very beautiful and delicious-looking meals. However, unfortunately, it was far from the photos posted. None of the dishes seemed to be made by a professional. Has the person who cooks changed? The presentation was not beautiful, there was no excitement or impression, and the tableware had no sense of weight at all. There were no elaborate dishes. Above all, even though there should be a fishing port, there was nothing fresh. The shirako and thin scallops were fried soggy and had no taste. Upon arrival, the dessert after the meal also seemed like something bought from a supermarket. This price for this meal is too terrible. It was a quiet and relaxing property, so it is very disappointing.

    It was a wonderful Stays!

    I had been looking forward to my stay for several months. When I actually visited, it was a wonderful property that exceeded my expectations, and I was very satisfied. Upon entering the room, there was a breathtaking view of the bath and the sea beyond. The cuisine, including fresh fish dishes, Hida beef, and desserts, conveyed the sincerity of those who prepared it, and I enjoyed it very much. The onsen was just the right temperature, and it was so pleasant that I wanted to stay in it forever. The night view from the private bath at night was also beautiful and soothing. Furthermore, all the staff during my stay were smiling, and the hospitality was excellent. I was particularly impressed by the courteous and kind service of the person who provided the meals. I became a complete fan and was talking about how glad we were to have chosen "Umi no Hana." I am truly grateful for the wonderful memories I made. I will definitely visit again someday. To all the staff, please take care of yourselves and keep up the great work.

    Everything is satisfactory.

    Shuttle Service to the station was provided. The staff's kind response! Delicious meals and drinks were all-you-can-drink with free drinks, which was very satisfying. Both the Room's bath and the open-air private bath were excellent! The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very delicious and served in such large portions that we couldn't finish them, and they were served in the Room. We were really able to relax! Thank you very much.

    Hmm!!

    Hmm!!! I don't know what to say, but it's very disappointing. I feel like the essence of what service is has been missed. I really wanted to complain on the day, but I kept quiet because I was with my family. Even my family expressed dissatisfaction. It's not suitable for social gatherings. We took a road not on the map, and when we first arrived, the shuttle service vehicle was taking up space, so I couldn't park my car. The employee who came out to see this was indecisive and the worst. Is there no consideration? The room was cold, the bath was too hot, and the meal lacked skill. The facility had two TVs, neither of which worked. I endured it, but There was no greeting from the manager, person in charge, or the landlady until the end. You need to change the sensibility of the management. Please reconsider what customers are coming for.

    I was disappointed.

    I stayed to celebrate my husband's birthday. Upon arriving at the Ryokan, there was no welcome, and I thought, "Oh, this might have been a mistake..." That anxiety was spot on. The place we were guided to was the dining area, with insufficient explanations from the staff, a Room vastly different from the photos online, poor bed quality, a dead cockroach in front of the refrigerator, poor food service, poor food quality, and poor customer service from the employees. Everything was so bad that I couldn't even complain. Even if it were free, I would never use it again. Despite trusting IKYU for the Reservation, I wonder why such a Facility is listed, and I am reconsidering using it in the future. I wrote my first Review in my life because I don't want anyone else to have the same experience. Thank you.

    I went with my mothe...

    I went with my mother. I was a little anxious after checking the reviews beforehand, but it was very good. The shuttle service staff, reception staff, room guide, and the person who brought our meals were all very courteous. The distance when talking was just right, and I was happy to hear various things like how the stars are clearly visible at night. They brought drinks together with the meals, which was smooth. It might have been a bit slow outside of meal times, but they brought them to the room, and since it was free drinks, I wasn't dissatisfied at all. There was a wide variety of sake and other drinks, and I was a bit worried if all of this was really free, haha. The meals were very delicious, both dinner and breakfast! I was surprised to see Ise lobster. Personally, I loved the yellowtail soup, and my mother favored the steamed kinmedai. The bath was clean and the temperature was just right, and we stayed in it from check-in until just before check-out. The view of the sea was beautiful. Since we went in many times, it would have been nice to have more places to hang bath towels or more hangers. It's best to take the shuttle service on the way there. We went for a walk outside before dinner, and while looking at the sea and shrine, we ended up near Ajiro Station, and the slope on the way back was so steep that our legs were shaking, haha. I heard that in spring, there are many weeping cherry blossoms on the way to the ryokan, so I plan to go again! It was a very good trip! Thank you very much!!
