    It was a relaxing experience.

    This was my second visit to Iya in two years, but my first stay at Iya Bijin. The view from the room was truly spectacular, and the bath was amazing. The meals didn’t feature luxury ingredients, but both dinner and breakfast showcased local ingredients unique to Iya. The regional dishes, which you can’t find elsewhere, were incredibly delicious. The fresh ayu sashimi and charcoal-grilled salt-seasoned ayu were also exceptional. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, making it a very comfortable and wonderful accommodation. I would love to visit again!

    Satisfying Accommodation

    It took some time to heat the Onsen for a morning bath, but everything else was satisfying. The meals were delicious, and the staff was very kind. Thanks to them, I was able to have a wonderful experience with my parents.

    I had a pleasant time from arrival to check-out. All the staff were very friendly, and it was a comfortable stay. The meals, as everyone says, were incredibly delicious and wonderful. It has become one of the accommodations I would like to visit again. Thank you very much!

    A Hidden Gem Accommodation

    I stayed at the accommodation because I wanted to visit Oboke and Koboke. It was also a family trip to celebrate my mother's 99th birthday. The room had a private bath, which was very convenient for my elderly mother. However, when I tried to take a morning bath, the water was cold! Although it was mentioned that the bath could be used 24 hours, we had to refill it before using it again. They kindly prepared a white celebratory vest for my mother's 99th birthday celebration, which made us very happy. The meal around the irori hearth was delicious as well. I hope to visit again someday at a more leisurely pace.

    Refresh Your Body and Mind

    Amid the great nature of Iya, we enjoyed a delightful evening with delicious local cuisine and heartfelt hospitality. The warm and friendly service from the accommodation staff, the bath with views of Iya's natural beauty, and local dishes such as river fish sashimi, grilled Awa beef, and wild boar hot pot made it an experience that refreshed not only our bodies but also our hearts. We were thoroughly satisfied. We would love to stay again if given the chance.

    It was a perfect example of hospitality.

    The Room and the building itself did not seem very new, but the water facilities in the Room were nicely renovated, giving a sense of cleanliness. The meals were abundant, using plenty of local ingredients, and the Iya soba at the end was indeed what you would expect from a soba restaurant! The staff's service was attentive and considerate, making the stay comfortable.

    We are a couple in our 40s who travel every month. This time, we stayed on the first day of our trip to Shikoku. There were no available rooms, so we stayed in the only available room with an open-air ceramic bath. Overall, I thought it was a property worth more than the price. We will visit again. 【Room】 We are not the type to use a spacious room, so it was spacious enough and felt clean. The only issue was that when we turned on the air conditioner, it emitted a bad smell, so we endured without it even though it was cold... We intended to mention it on our way out but forgot... 【Bath】 The photos only show part of the ceramic, but the bath was spacious enough, and above all, the view of the valley was wonderful. It happened to be autumn leaves season, so it was beautiful. The spring quality was soft, and we could enter it multiple times, and it was nice to be able to adjust the temperature ourselves. In the morning, it would get cold, so we needed to get up a little early to add hot water, but that was also part of the charm of the property. Since there was only one yukata as room wear, it would have been even better if there was another yukata or samue. 【Meal】 We had our meal in a private room with an irori. My wife, who was experiencing eating by the irori for the first time, was delighted. We were very satisfied with the mountain fish, which we could eat as sashimi and also enjoy grilled with salt on the irori. 【Staff】 Everyone treated us very well, and we had a pleasant stay. The room guidance was simple, which was also good for us.

    Second stay

    This was my second stay, changing the season. Last year was in August, and this year I stayed in November to enjoy the autumn leaves. I was very satisfied with the unchanging courteous service and the local food. During the meal, they said, "We are glad you enjoyed your meal," to which I replied, "It's so delicious that I'm eating twice as much as usual." Since I requested a corner room, there were two baths and two rooms, and I enjoyed an extraordinary experience while viewing the autumn leaves from the hinoki bath. I indulged in a luxurious morning bath and had a delicious breakfast, making it a very satisfying stay. On my way back, there was a coffee service, which I enjoyed while viewing the autumn leaves outside. I would like to stay every year, changing the season. I think spring might be nice next time.
