    Highly satisfied.

    It was our first time visiting Arima Onsen, and my daughter and I had a wonderful stay. The Shuttle Service, hospitality, baths, meals, Room, and spa treatments were all excellent, and we were completely satisfied. If I had one request, it would be to have a spa menu available in the Room. We would definitely like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Our hospitality is of the highest standard.

    Rooms may vary by grade, but the 6th-floor Room I stayed in had modern, comfortable bathroom facilities, including the toilet and bath. The large public bath’s silver and gold springs were excellent, and the hair dryers provided there were also very good. I wished the timing of the in-room meal service had been a bit quicker (ideally, it would be nice if they asked whether we prefer faster or slower service), but otherwise I had no particular complaints and enjoyed the food. There was a small incident where I was almost given a key to a different Room at the front desk when I returned from a walk, but overall the service was attentive and left a very positive impression.

    It was a very satisfying trip.

    I have traveled to many places, and I had long wanted to visit Arima Onsen. Even though I have limited mobility and traveled with a cart and a cane, the Onsen was the most satisfying I have ever experienced. The meals were delicious and thoughtfully prepared, and on top of that, the staff provided pleasant, attentive service. I was able to spend a very satisfying time here, and if it were not so far away, this is an Accommodation I would like to visit again.

    This is a very nice accommodation.

    A friend and I decided on a last-minute trip to Arima Onsen and stayed here. Perhaps because it was a one-night stay on Wednesday, we were able to enjoy a great-value rate for Arima Onsen with both breakfast and dinner included, served in our Room. The baths offered both Kinsen and Ginsen, and the Facility was well equipped, so we had a wonderful time. The Room was clean, and the staff provided pleasant service—overall, we were more satisfied than expected. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

    Worth visiting again and again

    I have stayed at this accommodation throughout the seasons since last year, and this time I enjoyed the winter onsen. The January cuisine had a festive New Year touch and was, of course, excellent. For the first time, I ordered a meal for a toddler, which was also delicious. The staff's warm hospitality made me feel comfortable and relaxed, adding to the charm of Choraku that makes me want to visit repeatedly for its onsen and cuisine. One small request: it would be great if hand soap could be provided in the restroom of the room. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Enjoy the hot water

    I often stay at Arima Onsen, but this was my first time staying at Chōraku, and I was very satisfied. (It was an enjoyable vacation.) This time, I chose the accommodation with the purpose of enjoying the Kinsen and Ginsen waters, and I was extremely satisfied with the onsen. During my stay, I enjoyed it multiple times. In addition to the onsen, the attentive service and both the quality and quantity of meals were exceptionally high, leaving me very satisfied. I would like to make this my regular accommodation when visiting Arima Onsen in the future. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful experience!

    It was a relaxing experience.

    This was my first stay at the accommodation. The staff's hospitality was excellent. I stayed in a detached room, and they promptly provided shuttle service to the main building and even after check-out. The attentive care during meals was also delightful. From the silver hot spring to the meals, everything exceeded expectations. I will definitely stay here again.

    I went to relax, but ended up feeling even more tired...

    The window in the room was poorly fitted, and even with the screen door closed, it didn’t shut properly. As a result, stink bugs entered about four times. I had to deal with them myself or repeatedly call hotel staff for assistance, which made it hard to relax. Since I needed to ventilate the room by opening the window with the screen door due to lingering food smells, this issue was truly inconvenient. Even before checking out, another bug came in, leaving me exhausted until the very end. Additionally, the refrigerator wasn’t cooling at all. Although someone came to fix it after I reported it, this should have been checked beforehand. It was tiring having to deal with these issues repeatedly. I regret booking a multiple night stay here. The accommodation is also far from the onsen town area, which added to my disappointment. However, when I emailed about meals prior to my stay, I received a kind and courteous response from staff—thank you for that!

    The cleanliness of the Room was not satisfactory, and having to step outside to access the private open-air bath was slightly inconvenient. The facilities felt somewhat outdated. There was a noticeable difference in service quality between staff members who were very pleasant and those who were not.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    As the accommodation is a bit far from Arima Onsen Station, we requested a shuttle service. From the moment we arrived at the accommodation to reaching the front desk, the staff provided excellent and courteous service, truly reflecting the quality of a long-established onsen ryokan. As mentioned in many reviews, it is quite far from the onsen town, so shuttle service is necessary. However, they kindly provided it with smiles and no hesitation, allowing us to fully enjoy exploring the onsen town at our own pace. We stayed in a twin room that also had a table for in-room dining but still felt spacious and comfortable for relaxation. The large communal bath featured "Silver Onsen" indoors and "Gold Onsen" outdoors, which could be enjoyed alternately. The locker in the changing area was equipped with locks for secure use. In the evening, tea and desserts were served at a resting area for guests to enjoy leisurely moments. Both dinner and breakfast were served promptly at just the right temperature for an enjoyable dining experience. It was truly blissful to relax and savor both onsen baths and meals after such a long time. If given another opportunity, I would love to stay here again!

    Floor chairs are...

    Stayed in a Japanese-style room 【Standard】【Quality over Quantity】with a deliciously curated Kaiseki Plan. The room was a spacious corner room, which was very comfortable. The meals were served in just the right portions and were absolutely delicious. The Onsen was fantastic, especially the open-air bath. The shuttle service driver, housekeeping staff, and front desk staff provided excellent hospitality. However, one minor complaint would be the hard-seated cross-legged chair provided in the room—it wasn't very comfortable for relaxing. It would be great if there were an option to choose between a regular chair or armrest seating instead of this type of chair. That said, I am overall very satisfied with my stay!

    I was able to show a little gratitude to my parents.

    My mother’s neuralgia had worsened, but we heard that Arima Onsen is suitable for recovery, so my parents stayed here this time. During their stay, they were able to spend their time very comfortably thanks to the warm hospitality of the staff and the thoughtful arrangements for their room. Thanks to this, my mother’s neuralgia has greatly eased, and she was delighted to feel both physically and mentally healed. We sincerely thank you from the bottom of our hearts.     A Wonderful Moment of Relaxation

    Approximately 30 minutes from Itami Airport, Arima Onsen offers the remarkable Kinsen and Ginsen hot springs despite its close proximity. This accommodation stood out for its heartfelt hospitality from arrival to departure. The staff were all friendly and welcoming with warm smiles. Both dinner and breakfast served in the room provided a truly luxurious experience. I would love to stay here again!

    It was a wonderful stay!!!

    The room is spacious, offering a peaceful retreat with great views, and the meals are absolutely delicious. The service is pleasant, and the onsen features both Kinsen and Ginsen from its own natural source. Despite visiting during the autumn foliage season, we were able to relax and even enjoy the lounge after dinner. My parents, who stayed with us, were very pleased. Located on a hilltop, it initially felt far from the onsen town when driving for the first time. However, there is a gentle shortcut for walking that takes about 10 minutes one way—a nice stroll. Shuttle service is also available upon request. For sightseeing, it's conveniently close to attractions like the ropeway station, Zuihoji Park, and the onsen town—all within a total of 16 minutes by car. Thanks to visiting on a weekday and staying at such an excellent accommodation, we fully enjoyed our 1-night stay. As expected of Arima Onsen loved by Hideyoshi—thank you for providing such a special experience!

    Accommodation to Enjoy the Essence of Autumn

    The room's open-air bath and the large public bath were both enjoyable at a leisurely pace. At night, we enjoyed a mini live performance of piano and saxophone. No matter how many times we visit, the seasonal cuisine is always delicious, and it is truly a relaxing accommodation even with young children. The next morning, we strolled through Zuihoji Park and enjoyed the autumn leaves. Due to the holiday period, dinner service took slightly longer than usual, but it was fine as the staff had informed us in advance.

    It was nice to relax.

    I stayed with my mother, and as expected, the Onsen was amazing and very relaxing. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The meals were made with high-quality ingredients and were very delicious; however, the portions seemed small and might not be enough for men.

    We stayed at a different Ryokan on the first night to enjoy Arima Onsen, and then spent the last two nights here. The first Ryokan had many young staff members who were very efficient and pleasant. The shuttle service staff, in particular, showed exceptional care, leaving us impressed as we arrived at this Ryokan. As for this Ryokan, I was excited to try Kunugi no Yu upon arrival but forgot to bring a face towel. When I asked an older female staff member at the rest area if I could borrow one, she told me to return to my room to get it. At the previous Ryokan, both face towels and bath towels were neatly stacked for guests' convenience so you could go empty-handed; thus, I was quite shocked by her response. Since my room was far away, I pleaded again and eventually managed to borrow an old towel after much effort. If there is a place in the rest area where tea and sweets are provided for guests' comfort, it would be nice if they also kept some spare towels for those who forget theirs. Additionally, if it had been a younger and more active staff member instead of that older woman with noticeable personal chatter during work hours, perhaps they would have quickly fetched an old towel from inside without hesitation. The front desk staff and those who brought meals to our room provided excellent service overall; hence this incident felt disappointing. For this trip to Arima Onsen—while we initially thought that having both Kinsen (golden hot spring) and Ginsen (silver hot spring) made this Ryokan superior—it became clear that even with only Kinsen available elsewhere, outstanding customer service can make all the difference in surpassing expectations.

    Birthday Celebration: Relax with Your Family

    I had an exceptional time. The pick-up service from Arima Onsen Station, the hospitality at the Ryokan, the cuisine, the Kinsen and Ginsen hot springs, forest bathing, autumn foliage viewing, and even the birthday celebration from the Ryokan—all of it was truly top-notch. Spending such a precious moment with my family on my birthday made me genuinely happy. This was my first visit, but I already want to come back many times.     Accommodation with hospitality expressed through seasonal fresh flowers

    A stay with a 0-year-old baby and a 90-year-old mother and daughter. The thoughtful care for the baby, the gentle-tasting meals, the comfortable bedding and Onsen, and the seasonal fresh flowers seen throughout the property—all provided a blissful and healing time.     Enjoyed the autumn charm at Choryo.

    This year's fourth stay was enhanced by the delicious flavors of autumn, and we enjoyed the illuminated garden after the rain, sitting on a bench and listening to the sounds of insects. As it was a three-generation visit, we chose quality over quantity for our meals. The younger generation ordered additional Kobe beef dishes and roast beef. Every dish was exquisite. We checked in early and had plenty of time to relax in the Onsen and lounge. As always, the exceptional hospitality made for a pleasant holiday. Thank you as always!

    First Visit to Arima Onsen

    I was really looking forward to visiting Arima Onsen. Since I arrived early, I wondered if I could park my car at the ryokan before sightseeing. When I went to the ryokan, they kindly accommodated my request. The staff's hospitality upon arrival was also very kind, and I had a pleasant stay with the meals, onsen, and all the facilities in the accommodation. If I have the chance, I would definitely like to visit this accommodation again.

    First Time at Arima Onsen

    The meals and Onsen were absolutely wonderful. The open-air bath was especially amazing, allowing us to relax and enjoy it multiple times without any crowding. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a full bottle of sparkling wine as part of the IKYU special offer. Thank you for upgrading our Room as well.

    The meals and Onsen are great, but the staff is disappointing.

    This was my first time staying here. The meals were on the smaller side, but they were very delicious, offering a refined taste of Japanese cuisine that I thoroughly enjoyed. The Onsen allowed me to experience both the golden and silver springs, and the post-bath services were thoughtful and considerate. However, when I asked the staff member who guided me to my room after check-in if it was possible to change the meal time, they responded very curtly, saying, "Please go to the front desk for that," and quickly went up to the room with the key, which was quite shocking. When I returned to the front desk, I was told, "We will check with you in your room," which felt like being passed around unnecessarily. I only asked a question and did not make an unreasonable request, but it left me feeling sad. Additionally, calling Spanish sparkling wine "champagne" and other similar issues gave me an impression that staff training could be improved. The room itself was new, spacious, and clean; combined with excellent meals and Onsen facilities, this accommodation has great potential. If staff impressions were better, this would be a place I'd want to visit again.

    The sashimi at dinne...

    The sashimi at dinner was a bit disappointing, and I remember that during my previous stay, I could choose grilled fish for breakfast, which the staff cooked right in front of me, so I felt a little let down. Other than that, it’s a great accommodation. I’ll definitely use it again!

    Guests are greeted and guided at the parking lot, but there was no service such as carrying luggage, raising many questions about customer service and time management. When facing difficulties with the Reservation process, I was bluntly told it was impossible. The attitude and tone felt dismissive, leaving me with a sense of indifference. Only the Onsen was good.
