    Your First Visit to Yaizu

    I visit Izu often, but this was my first stay here after reading the Reviews and becoming interested. I came not for sightseeing, but specifically for the Hotel. I thought I arrived early, but there were already many guests waiting. Check-in took a while, and then I headed to the lounge I’d been looking forward to. On the way in, I saw a Sapporo brewery nearby, and from what I’d heard in advance, I was excited to try their freshly delivered SORACHI beer. Having it on draft was wonderful—great aroma and truly delicious! The interior is quite maze-like with lots of ups and downs. It felt like an adventure exploring around. I also loved the presentation of being able to brew your own carefully selected cup of tea. I thought using the Onsen during late summer heat might be tough, but the outdoor bath felt great, and there were thoughtful touches like an herbal bath as well. The mist sauna called “Thermare” in particular was an exceptionally well-designed space. As for dinner—which I had high expectations for—it felt less about flavor and more about presentation. The tuna was certainly high quality, but items like the Chinese-style performance station, tempura, roast beef, pizza, etc., didn’t really impress me; they’re probably more exciting for families looking for a lively atmosphere. I left the restaurant fairly quickly and went back to the lounge to enjoy live music. While listening to quiet piano music, a moon road appeared that night! The ocean view from the window was very soothing. They also served late-night soba noodles (yonaki soba), which I enjoyed. There were plenty of staff on duty late into the night so nothing felt inconvenient, but as it got later their manner became a bit curt—understandable since they’re only human. At breakfast, finishing omelets in an iron pan may be part of their commitment to style or technique, but there was so much oily smoke that even inside the elevator the smell was quite strong. The tuna head display was impressive visually; however, what was actually served consisted mostly of tiny scraps and wasn’t enjoyable. With so many guests staying here overall، it didn’t feel like a Facility where you can relax slowly in the restaurant area. Overall، it struck me as better suited for groups of friends or families. On my way out، there seemed to be a small stall selling tea، so I bought some as souvenirs۔ If given another opportunity، I'd visit again۔ Thank you very much۔

    Great value for money!

    The Facility and service exceeded expectations. The all-inclusive meals provided satisfaction beyond their value. However, a bit more attention to the timing of clearing used dishes would be appreciated. Overall, it was a highly satisfying trip.

    The food was excellent! The service was wonderful too.

    We visited with our children and were absolutely impressed by the luxurious and delicious buffet. I usually dislike buffets because I often feel there’s nothing worth eating, but here, there were so many dishes I wanted to try that my stomach couldn’t keep up (haha). There were plenty of kid-friendly menu options, along with kids' cutlery and chairs, so we could relax while they enjoyed their meal. The Onsen was clean, and the kids loved it so much they wanted to go in both morning and evening! The staff, including those at the front desk and even the chefs, were all incredibly friendly and left a great impression. We will definitely visit again!!!

    Excellent! Very satisfied.

    The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were very delicious. The variety of alcohol was abundant, and although I couldn't drink in the room, I enjoyed relaxing in the lounge. The view of Mount Fuji from the deck was breathtaking. From the footbath area as well, Mount Fuji was clearly visible despite a few clouds! This has become one of the accommodations I want to visit again.

    We recommend it.

    We arrived early this time. Even before check-in, you can enjoy soft drinks, alcohol, and snacks while waiting. (This is something we look forward to as it’s included in the all-inclusive package.) The food is delicious with a wide variety of dishes and impeccable flavors. Highly recommended are the sashimi and sushi. (The chef is amazing!) You can order your favorite items as many times as you like, and the quality surpasses that of a high-end Ryokan (personal opinion). Other recommendations include roast beef and pizza. For breakfast, you can choose an omelet with your preferred ingredients or have custom-made rice balls prepared for you. For parents traveling with babies: baby food is also perfectly provided!

    We were treated very well.

    Thank you very much. I felt very relaxed and completely satisfied. The phone service was pleasant, and they kindly accommodated my request as I have slightly weak legs, which was very helpful. Being near the elevator made it convenient, and moving to the dining area and the large public bath was easy. I was really looking forward to the buffet, but I was disappointed by the limited seafood options and the inability to freely serve myself. It felt lacking not to have seafood, which is a characteristic of Yaizu. Having to line up and being limited to three types? That seems unreasonable. Also, having only one smoking area is disappointing for smokers. It would be nice to have at least one more smoking area on the lounge floor. Since I don’t drink alcohol, I always had coffee in the lounge. However, I felt the dessert options were somewhat limited. Overall, I was satisfied and would like to visit this Hotel again. The sunrise in the morning was absolutely stunning.

    Breathtaking, magnificent

    As you pass through the entrance and lobby, you'll be greeted by the stunning horizon of Suruga Bay. Enjoy a welcome drink as you take in the view and find yourself pausing to admire it. The breathtaking scenery of Suruga Bay and Mount Fuji from the footbath is truly beyond words!

    For those who enjoy drinking, this might feel like paradise.

    The accommodation was full of enjoyable elements for both adults and children. The matcha experience, forest slope car, lounge, and restaurant were all wonderful. However, there was one issue: While carrying a plate in the restaurant, I almost slipped because the floor was wet. Thankfully, I managed to avoid falling and no serious incident occurred. It would have been better if staff had addressed such issues promptly upon noticing them. During check-out when returning the key, I had to wait a long time as there was only one staff member handling it. It would be helpful to have at least two staff members available in such situations. Check-in also took quite some time due to handling large groups of guests; this process could be improved further as well.

    First All-Inclusive Experience

    Overall, I was satisfied. The view is absolutely wonderful. The live piano performance in the lounge at night was fantastic. I enjoyed a luxurious time with a drink in hand. Thank you to the pianist!

    I had a relaxing stay.

    I have stayed here for five consecutive years. I enjoyed various activities, drink service, dinner, breakfast, and the Onsen—all of which were satisfying. It seems like only Japanese guests have been staying here since last year, but that might be one reason why it feels so relaxing. I look forward to visiting again next year.

    Three-Night Stay During Summer Vacation

    From July 30 to August 2, our family of four stayed for three nights during summer vacation. While there were some positive aspects, the number of disappointing experiences outweighed them, making it a somewhat regrettable trip. **Disappointing Points:** - Lack of hospitality from certain staff members: - While waiting with our children to use the lift from the pool area to indoors, a hotel employee prioritized themselves by boarding with a cart full of trash, leaving us to wait in the scorching heat for the next lift. - When we asked at the hotel entrance for photos to be taken with two cameras (there were no other guests around), we were told only one camera could be accommodated and were refused for the second one. - During nighttime, when consulting about extending our stay by one night at the front desk, we were told they couldn’t assist and had to make an additional reservation online ourselves. - The air conditioning in the room was extremely noisy (especially on the bedroom side where it was difficult to sleep). - Only hot water came out of the bathroom faucet; no cold water was available at all. **Positive Points:** - The quality of bathwater, facilities, and location. - The variety offered in buffets. - Multiple lounge facilities available on-site. - Entertainment options for children (pool, activity facilities, board game area). Given these reasons above, I felt that what we paid did not match up with what was provided in terms of service quality—it seemed quite overpriced overall. Additionally: Both breakfast and dinner buffets offered nearly identical menus daily without alternative dining options within the Facility itself; this led us feeling slightly bored by days three or four. If there are more affordable Plans available in future promotions or offers—revisiting might be considered—but as things stand now revisiting seems unlikely based on this experience so far!

    This is our fourth visit this year. The all-inclusive service within the Facility was exceptional, with delicious food and drinks that left us completely satisfied. The staff's warm smiles and kindness were greatly appreciated. We look forward to visiting again next year. To all the staff, please take care of yourselves and keep up the great work!

    Just as the reviews said!

    For the past few years, I’ve only stayed at all-inclusive Hotels, but this was my first time staying here. The variety of activities and delicious meals made for an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, due to the typhoon, I couldn’t see Mount Fuji... I’d love to come back for a “revenge” visit! The highlight of this trip was definitely the dashi broth. It’s available as part of the welcome service, so be sure to try it! If I may add a small wish—it would have been great to enjoy it at night after drinking alcohol—but the late-night ramen made up for it and left me satisfied. Thank you also to all the staff who were kind and attentive throughout my stay!

    Family-friendly

    This hotel is perfect for a three-generation family stay. Our accommodation floor seemed thoughtfully arranged, as there were no families with children nearby, allowing us to enjoy a quiet and peaceful time together. The all-inclusive concept is great; however, as mentioned in other reviews, having only two bottles of water in the room was inconvenient. It was troublesome to use the elevator just to get drinks. It would be helpful if coffee servers or similar amenities were placed on each floor. The public bath felt small considering the number of guests staying. The other open-air bath required going outside and was quite far, so we decided not to use it.

    A memorable trip with my disabled husband after several years

    A sunny Friday blessed with great weather. After picking up my husband post-dialysis, we set off for a relaxing afternoon trip. Since I had informed the staff of our situation over the phone that morning, they kindly allowed us to park near the entrance upon arrival, prepared a Room close to the elevator, and arranged seating near the food area. Their thoughtful consideration was truly appreciated. The website is filled with exciting details that even someone like me, who is in good health, found thrilling. Naturally, I was very satisfied. Moreover, they were willing to discuss sensitive matters not mentioned on their site one by one with us. For those considering a trip here in the future... why not consult with them and give it a try? If I may suggest improvements: brighter hallways or assistance in the bath would have been nice. That said, as someone healthy myself, everything from meals to baths further away and views of Sagami Bay at every turn made this 40th-anniversary trip unforgettable—especially grilling our own dango! We were also touched by their gift of a framed photo of us together. The Room was prepared so comfortably for us; even small touches like an origami Mount Fuji placed on the desk brought joy—I couldn’t resist taking it home! To all staff members: thank you so much!

    I was able to relax and unwind.

    Although it was a weekday, the number of guests was high, and since meals are served buffet-style, it tended to get crowded depending on the time. The buffet allows you to take as much as you like, so it was a bit challenging to resist overindulging for health reasons. With both Western and Japanese options available, everyone from younger guests to older visitors can enjoy their meals at their own pace. There are two lounges; the Fuji View lounge stands out with jazz music playing in the background and offers craft beer and various teas for tasting. It would have been nice if there were some snacks available as well. The outdoor bath features a saline hot spring that left my skin feeling firm and refreshed.

    Second stay

    It was my first stay since the accommodation became all-inclusive, and it was excellent. After arriving around 15:30, I toasted with beer in a yukata. Then, I relaxed in the onsen. I had a good sweat in the sauna and cooled down in the room before dinner. The dinner starting at 18:00 was delightful, with delicious sashimi perfectly paired with sake. I would love to visit again during a different season.

    Enjoy a Thoughtful and Sophisticated Accommodation

    The staff kindly arranged seating close to the buffet for both dinner and breakfast, considering my companion's difficulty with walking. The welcome drink included a generous serving of melon, and the terrace was lovely. The bath facilities were excellent, featuring a sauna, cold bath, and open-air bath. For meals, the chef prepared three types of sashimi and sushi of our choice on the spot—absolutely delicious. Choosing ingredients for kamameshi (rice pot) to cook at the table was fun and incredibly tasty. The miso soup was flavorful, and tempura was freshly fried per order. The coffee machine in the dining area produced frothy drinks like espresso with impressive quality—it was surprisingly good. The fifth-floor lounge offered a relaxing adult-only time at night with great views to enjoy drinks peacefully. However, the guitar performance in the first-floor lounge felt lackluster without any song introductions or context—it seemed unnecessary. I noticed from reviews that some guests wished for women's amenities in their rooms; this has been thoughtfully improved now—what a great Hotel! The matcha experience was enjoyable too. On another note, I found it difficult to locate "Forest Café," so I think it might not be essential. While I thought having massage chairs after bathing would be nice (perhaps that's asking too much), overall this Hotel exceeded expectations with its exceptional kindness and service—I left completely satisfied! Ultimately, what makes or breaks a Hotel is its staff—thank you so much!

    Popular Accommodation

    As expected from a popular accommodation, the view was great, and the food was very delicious. However... the type of guests... it might have been just a coincidence, but... The overly noisy children—I'm sorry to say this, but I wish families with kids could be placed in separate sections. Since it's an accommodation friendly to families with children, it can't be helped, but the tolerance level is a bit... I felt slightly disappointed.

    It exceeded our expe...

    It exceeded our expectations, and we were very satisfied! The buffet menu for both breakfast and dinner was delicious, visually appealing, and the kids loved it. The roast beef on the dinner menu was especially tasty. There was also a wide variety of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from, which made it fun to pick. We used different large baths in the morning and evening. Both were well-maintained and very comfortable to use. The kids particularly enjoyed the post-bath Fuji Soda. The staff's hospitality was excellent from the moment we headed to the shuttle bus stop on our way there, throughout our stay at the Hotel, and even during the shuttle ride back to Yaizu Station. We had a truly pleasant time all around. We’re already talking about visiting next time with three generations of our family, so we’ll definitely be back!

    Anniversary Trip

    We stayed here for our wedding anniversary. We chose this place because it seemed to offer great views of Mt. Fuji and the sea. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we could barely see Mt. Fuji, but the view from the room, lounge, and Onsen was fantastic. Since it was all-inclusive, we enjoyed as much beer and coffee as we wanted along with treats like dango and sweets. Dinner was a buffet with a variety of dishes to try. The freshly fried tempura was delicious! There was roast beef available, but I think having grilled meats like steak would have been even better. As it was a special occasion, we added a dessert plate to celebrate our anniversary and were delighted to receive a commemorative photo as well when leaving. We had such a relaxing time here. Thank you very much!

    Everything is excellent.

    The Hotel staff were friendly and provided courteous guidance, and both the sweets and meals were delicious and satisfying. There are many lounges and activities within the Hotel, making one night insufficient to fully enjoy everything. The staff's service, the taste of the food, and the views were all truly exceptional. I would love to stay again. It was a very enjoyable experience.

    This Onsen trip was ...

    This Onsen trip was very enjoyable and satisfying. From the moment we arrived by car, we were greeted with friendly and kind service. Check-in was a bit crowded, but there were plenty of reception counters, so we didn’t have to wait long. Inside the facility, between meals, the Onsen, and two lounges, we were quite busy and spent little time in our room. The tea at the Fuji View Lounge was particularly delightful. Dinner featuring sashimi and sushi as well as breakfast with rice balls left a lasting impression for their deliciousness. However, at the end of our stay, despite checking out early to avoid crowds, I was surprised when asked to line up again just to return the key. It made me wonder why I bothered checking out early in the first place!

    It was cloudy upon arrival, and the next day brought heavy rain, so unfortunately, we couldn't see Mount Fuji as we had hoped. However, we enjoyed the all-inclusive experience—having a drink while gazing at the sea right after arrival, another after a bath, and during meals without worrying about our budget. The Room was very clean, including the bathroom facilities. The meals were freshly prepared and delicious. As for the bath area, some amenities were lacking (such as cotton swabs), and there were fewer sinks than expected given its size; improving these would enhance the experience. We look forward to visiting again on a sunny day!

    All-Inclusive

    I stayed here for my birthday! I thought I was splurging a bit, but since it’s all-inclusive, it turned out to be such a great deal! It was amazing. The staff were friendly and maintained the perfect distance, making them easy to talk to. There were so many services available that I was super busy (in a good way). The food was absolutely delicious. The tuna sashimi was incredible—I’ll definitely come back just to eat it again! One night wasn’t enough, so next time I plan to stay for two nights and relax even more. Thank you very much!

    Both the Onsen and lounge are excellent.

    This time, I stayed for the first time with a 2-night, 3-day Multiple Night Stay. I enjoyed spending time in the lounge, relaxing during the day, and soaking in the spacious public bath before 3 PM. It was more relaxing and leisurely than I had imagined. I'll visit again!

    It was excellent!

    Despite being during Golden Week, the accommodation was not as crowded as expected, allowing us to relax comfortably without worrying about having small children around. The facility is incredibly spacious, with plenty of outdoor activities available, making one night feel insufficient. We traveled with a young child in elementary school and a 1-year-old and enjoyed numerous activities together such as mini-golf, basketball, matcha tea experiences, board games, and stamp rallies. There was never a dull moment. The meals were delicious no matter what we chose to eat. The live kitchen's sashimi and roast beef were exceptional, as well as the rice balls served in the morning. The lounge's desserts and Japanese tea were authentic and absolutely delightful. Above all else, the staff members were outstanding. During dinner time when our child started getting restless, they discreetly offered a sticker book to keep them entertained—a gesture that truly showcased their exceptional hospitality. Having stayed at several all-inclusive hotels before, this one stands out far above the rest in every aspect. We will definitely return! Thank you so much!

    As expected from a Hotel near the famous Yaizu fishing port, the all-you-can-eat seafood sashimi and sushi were truly impressive. The kinmedai (golden eye snapper) and ark shell sashimi, as well as the premium tuna sushi, were exceptional. There were also many other delicious dishes, making it a highly satisfying experience.
