    I would like to stay here again.

    The buffet selection was very extensive, every dish was delicious, and we were extremely satisfied. Our Room had an ocean view, the scenery was wonderful, and we were able to relax comfortably. There were also various types of baths, each with a different atmosphere, and we enjoyed them very much. As it is all-inclusive, it’s an especially appealing stay for those who enjoy alcohol. Since we don’t drink much, that part felt a bit wasted for us; however, we understood this in advance when booking, and the complimentary soft drinks and other beverages were plentiful, so it wasn’t inconvenient. One thing we noticed was the in-Room amenities: items such as toner were provided for only one person. We felt it would be more comfortable if they were prepared for the number of guests. Overall, we were highly satisfied with the food, views, and baths alike—it was a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to stay at again.

    It was a highly satisfying Hotel.

    I stayed here last winter and really enjoyed it—the meals were all delicious, and I had a great time using the various Facilities, so this time I stayed with my daughters. Once again, the stay met my expectations and was very satisfying, but I was surprised by the poor quality of the toilet paper. I used the in-room safe, but even with the closet light on it was still very dark and I couldn’t see the keypad display unless I used my phone’s flashlight, so I hope this can be improved. Thanks to all the staff for their wonderful smiles and service, we had another great stay. I would love to visit again.

    Use the all-inclusive plan.

    The wide variety of food and drinks was very satisfying, but it was disappointing that dinner time was limited to 90 minutes. I should have checked in advance. Breakfast had no time limit, so we could relax and take our time. It was also inconvenient that the vending machine did not accept the new 1,000-yen bills.

    I will stay again.

    This was my first time staying here. An all-inclusive Hotel. There was a great variety of food and drinks in the lounge, and the dashi broth and burgers were especially delicious. The lounge on the upper floor had a calm atmosphere and was very nice. The bath, footbath, and buffet meals were all great. The tea ceremony experience, table tennis, board games, and video games were fun. If the weather had been better, I would have liked to play tennis. The whole-orange juice was delicious. Mt. Fuji after the typhoon passed was a spectacular view. We stayed for two nights and would like to stay again.

    I was very satisfied...

    I was very satisfied. The drinks and meals were excellent. The breakfast, in particular, offered a wide variety and was thoroughly enjoyable. The Room was spacious and comfortable. I would like to stay here again.

    It was very refreshing.

    Thank you for taking care of us for one night and two days. Unfortunately, the weather was chilly, so we gave up on the sightseeing spots we had planned and arrived at Yaizu Station earlier than expected. Since I was traveling with my elderly parents, I asked whether it would be okay to arrive a little early. Although check-in is at 3:00 p.m., you told us it would be possible to enter the Hotel earlier, which was a great help. When we arrived, you welcomed us with smiles, and I felt relieved. My parents and daughter were truly impressed by how delicious the welcome dashi broth was—and of course I was too. The tomato-flavored dashi broth was also wonderful; saying “This is a flavor you could never make at home,” all of us went back for seconds. It warmed our chilled bodies and put our minds at ease. Seeing my parents’ happy smiles as they drank the dashi made it feel like they had forgotten all the fatigue from traveling. The building is not new by any means, but our Room was thoroughly cleaned and we were able to stay comfortably. Thank you very much. Every dish was delicious and we were completely satisfied. Sakura shrimp, whitebait, fried items, sashimi—everything tasted great. The morning rice balls were amazing too; both the rice balls and the rice itself were excellent. The two staff members in charge also had wonderful smiles. Since dashi was provided as well, my daughter made seafood ochazuke, while I added sakura shrimp, nori seaweed, and mitsuba to make an instant clear soup. Being able to customize it was fun—you can enjoy both the excitement and the great taste! My parents and daughter kept saying everything was delicious and were very happy. If I may mention a couple of areas for improvement: having soy sauce for sashimi as well as chopsticks, spoons, and other utensils placed in several different locations would be more convenient. Another point is that because the guest room ventilation fan switch is linked to the air conditioner switch, it isn’t possible to use only the ventilation fan. There are times when it’s not warm enough to turn on the air conditioner but you still want just the ventilation fan on—so it would be nice if it could be used independently. Overall, I think this is a very good Hotel. Lastly, someone kindly offered to “take a family photo,” but because we were right up against the Shuttle Service bus meeting time limitlessly close), I couldn’t respond properly and acted rushed—I'm very sorry about that. I really appreciated being asked. The tea candy we received was also delicious. This morning we could even see Mt Fuji—it moved me deeply. It became a wonderful trip with my daughter and parents. Thank you very much. I’ve come to love Yaizu as well.

    Slope

    I was satisfied with the staff, meals, and service. I’m sure many reviews say the same, so I’d like to mention a few areas for improvement that I noticed. For seniors in particular, there are many stairs and it is a long walk to the event venue. I would also appreciate it if the steps and level differences were made easier to see. In addition, I felt that facilities such as the lounge could be arranged with better consideration for traffic flow.

    More satisfying than I expected.

    I had always dreamed of an all-inclusive stay, and visited with my grandchild and my daughter and her husband. Not only the meals, but also the wide range of sports and activities made it an even more satisfying stay than I expected. Dinner was outstanding—especially the sashimi and sushi—and we enjoyed them with a great selection of sake. I only used the ocean bath this time. Next time, I’d like to enjoy the forest bath as well, which I couldn’t visit due to time constraints. I had a wonderful time with my grandchild. We’ll be back!

    Great value for money

    Although it’s an older Hotel, it has been renovated and everything looks clean. Many Hotels still feel dated in their Facility features, but here the toilets and faucets are new, and each guest room has its own air conditioner, so there were no issues. For the meals, the sashimi sliced on the spot was delicious. It was my first time having kamameshi cooked at the table; it came with eel and was piping hot and tasty. Most of the staff were young Japanese, and everyone was pleasant. A couple of minor negatives: - The toothbrush felt cheap and wasn’t good. - The restaurant seating varies too much. Some seats are high-back booths that feel semi-private, while others are like group seating with simple tables and chairs. On top of that, our table wobbled because the legs weren’t adjusted properly. Overall, for this price I’m satisfied.

    We were completely satisfied with everything—the room, the bath, and the meals. We drove from the Shizuoka area, but due to tunnel construction the road was closed, so we had to turn back once. Later we found a small notice, but we would appreciate it if this could be shown more prominently in the access information.

    Third Stay

    This was our third stay at your Accommodation on a family trip. Unfortunately, the weather on the day did not allow us to enjoy the spectacular views of Mt. Fuji and the ocean that we had been looking forward to, but we were excited to return for the first time in three years since our last visit and looked forward to staying at your Facility again. As it had been some time since our previous stay, I would like to share a few points that stood out to us. First, regarding check-in: while I understand it was a busy time, there was a considerable wait before we could complete the procedure. I appreciate that the explanations were thorough; however, in recent years it has become common to introduce self check-in kiosks or streamline explanations for returning guests. I feel that considering some measures to ease congestion at check-in would make the experience even more comfortable. Next, regarding luggage handling: I understand that guests are generally expected to carry their own luggage to their Room. That said, on this occasion we were carrying a small child and had many bags, leaving our hands full. Although a cart was provided, we were only told to “leave it in front of your Room,” and no assistance was offered. While I understand the standard policy, more flexible support depending on circumstances would be greatly appreciated. Also, the buffet venue was extremely crowded that day, and it felt difficult to understand where and how to line up. Some guests appeared to approach from the opposite direction of the intended flow as well. Clear floor markings or signage showing where to queue and how traffic should move could help prevent confusion. Although I have mentioned several minor points above, overall we were able to spend a largely satisfying time otherwise. We hope these areas will be improved by our next visit, and we would love to return again on a day with better weather.

    It was disappointing...

    It was disappointing that we couldn’t see Mt. Fuji. The piano performance ended with the pianist simply playing without any introduction or explanation of the pieces, which I found very unpleasant.

    It doesn’t seem to match the number of guests.

    The number of activities and the size of the restaurants don’t seem to match the number of guests. For sports activities, you need to make a Reservation immediately after check-in or you may not get a spot. Because the restaurants get very crowded, popular menu items often require long waits. The menu selection is also limited. Considering this, I feel the Accommodation Fee is overpriced. On the positive side, the view was excellent, with a beautiful Mt. Fuji.

    This is an entertainment area.

    It’s said to have the best buffet in Japan, so of course I went looking forward to the meals. But the fun wasn’t just about the food— with all the different activities, it was truly packed with entertainment. Unfortunately, I had an accident in the large public bath, so I couldn’t really enjoy dinner as much as I’d hoped. However, by breakfast the next morning I was feeling better and everything was very delicious. The Hotel allowed early check-in and late check-out, and in the lounge there were plenty of alcoholic drinks and light snacks. I was impressed by how much effort they put into increasing guest satisfaction.

    An Exceedingly Satisfying Hotel

    I finally got to stay at the Hotel I had always wanted to visit. The views from the Room and the lounge were outstanding. On the second day, the weather was great, so I could also see Mt. Fuji and enjoy a variety of activities. I booked a Multiple Night Stay for two nights, and had a wonderful time throughout without ever getting bored.

    I am very satisfied.

    After reading the Reviews, I really wanted to stay here, and I’m very satisfied with my stay—there were so many great services that one night wasn’t enough. All of the meals were delicious, especially the sushi and sashimi. The small rice balls at breakfast were also easy to eat and a nice touch. They also provided ready-to-eat baby food and bibs for infants, and I thought it was wonderful how thoughtfully they catered to guests of all ages. I would definitely like to visit again.

    Yaizu is famous for tuna.

    I visited because a friend recommended it after having a great experience. The Hotel’s location and the drink and light snack service were excellent, and I enjoyed the activities as well. The food was very good for a buffet, especially the tuna sushi and sashimi. The customizable kamameshi was the best dish. The Chinese mapo tofu also tasted authentic. The meat dishes were average. For breakfast, I liked the made-to-order whitebait-and-cheese omelet and the rice balls you can choose from. However, having to stand in a long line at check-in was honestly a bit of a mood killer—could something be done about that? Also, please make your Shuttle Service Reservation early. It’s also better to reserve activities in advance. I booked this place hoping to see Mt. Fuji across Suruga Bay, but it was cloudy and I could only see it a little, so my review ended up slightly critical—sorry about that.

    Both the exterior and interior had a retro feel, but

    It was a clean Hotel with great hospitality. The bath was also very nice. Since I visited during the cold season, I understand it may have been unavoidable for cost-saving reasons, but the hallways were cold. It was wonderful that there were many places to spend time both inside and outside the building besides my own Room.

    We stayed to celebra...

    We stayed to celebrate our grandchild’s school entrance. Since the meal was buffet-style and we thought we wouldn’t be able to finish it, we didn’t order the paid dessert plate. Even though it was a special day for us, no one even suggested taking a commemorative photo, which was very disappointing. The Facility is wonderful, but we didn’t feel much consideration, and we left with mixed feelings.

    While it retains the charm of a historic property, it also incorporates modern touches, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The building is spacious, and thoughtful ideas from the staff can be found throughout—everywhere we walked was a delight. The food was excellent, far better than you would expect for an all-inclusive plan. Even the restrooms that didn’t seem like they’d be used much were spotless, making the whole place very comfortable. We’d love to come back again.

    Luxurious Time

    I had visited before it became all-inclusive, but this was my first time after the changes. From the moment I arrived by car, the staff provided polite and cheerful service. Check-in was smooth, and all the staff greeted me with smiles throughout my stay. The view from the Room, buffet meals, free drinks and snacks, activities, and services were all satisfying. The other guests were diverse as well, but there were no disturbances or loud behavior, allowing for a very peaceful stay. I would love to visit again if I have another opportunity!

There were also a variety of dishes featuring tuna, which were excellent. The all-inclusive plan offered a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, allowing guests to relax in two lounges while enjoying the night view after bathing or dining. In the morning, guests could soak in the bath while watching the sunrise for a blissful moment. From both the Room and lounges, stunning views of Mount Fuji could be enjoyed, offering breathtaking scenery. Even after check-out, guests could use the lounge to savor a relaxing morning and moments of pure bliss.

    The cuisine, Onsen, and view were all excellent.

    The meals are served buffet-style, and I was initially unsure about it, but every dish was absolutely delicious. The fish was incredibly fresh and flavorful. Alcoholic beverages were included in the accommodation fee, allowing unlimited drinks in the lounge after check-in. During dinner, I enjoyed six varieties of sake. The view overlooking Suruga Bay was stunning, and the sunrise was exceptionally beautiful to watch.

    All-inclusive and exceptional!

    I heard from an acquaintance that Yaizu Grand Hotel is great for families with children, so we decided to visit. First of all, the all-inclusive package was fantastic, offering free access to activities like tennis and basketball. Additionally, the lounge provided free beer and light snacks, which was a nice touch. The Onsen was not only relaxing but also complemented by a delicious dinner buffet featuring freshly baked pizza, flavorful roast beef, omelets, chili shrimp dishes—everything we tried was excellent. The sushi, sashimi, and tempura were also incredibly satisfying. They even had baby food and snacks available, making it especially convenient for families with young children. We look forward to visiting again as a family!

    It was a Hotel I would like to visit again.

    There are multiple lounges where you can freely enjoy drinks and snacks, allowing for a relaxed and uncrowded experience. It's also convenient that activities and the café can be used until 12 PM after checkout. The meals are excellent and satisfying, making it a Hotel I would love to visit again!

    The best Hotel!

    We visited this time to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, having previously come here for a family trip. My boyfriend was thrilled, saying it was better than any other Hotel he had stayed at before! I was already very satisfied during our last visit (about two years ago), but this time the lounge meals were even more luxurious, making it an even better experience. It's always enjoyable no matter how many times we come! We stayed in the "Yubae Room," where we could see a beautiful sunset from the terrace. The Room itself was spacious and lovely. The weather was perfect, and we could even see Mount Fuji—it made for an amazing two days. We also ordered a birthday plate and received a framed photo as well; the staff's thoughtfulness really stood out. I've stayed at other all-inclusive Hotels before, but this one is truly the best! I felt reluctant to leave when it was time to go home. I definitely want to come back again!

    Perfect for those who want to eat a lot and fully enjoy their stay!

    This is an accommodation I used to visit frequently before the pandemic. On this recent visit, I found that it had adopted an all-inclusive system! The lounge offered a warm welcome with unlimited alcohol, plenty of sweets, and light snacks. While waiting for the room to be ready, I enjoyed the food while admiring the ocean view. Due to its location near the front desk and on a main pathway, there was some hustle and bustle, so it wasn’t entirely relaxing. However, this hotel has always impressed me with its continuous efforts over the years—delicious meals and thoughtful touches everywhere. The change to an all-inclusive system seems well-considered as well. I believe this accommodation would be perfect for younger guests or those who enjoy lively group activities—it’s sure to satisfy them completely! On the other hand, older guests or those who prefer smaller portions might find one experience sufficient due to certain aspects like pricing. The cost has increased by about 1.5–2 times compared to before because of uniform cost increases tied to adopting an all-inclusive system; some services may feel unnecessary for such guests. A more serene atmosphere with a touch of luxury might appeal more in such cases. That said, given today’s influx of international visitors (inbound travelers), many energetic people will likely leave satisfied here—the scenery is stunning, and meals are both delicious and varied! While many buffets nowadays offer similar services across venues, one standout dish here was their ochazuke (rice in dashi broth) topped with sakura shrimp tempura and other ingredients—it was truly exceptional! All other dishes were equally delightful. A couple of areas could use improvement: check-in took too long with excessive steps involved; luggage retrieval also required waiting until a specific time only for us ultimately having carried it ourselves—this felt disproportionate considering pricing expectations. Staff explanations followed rigid manuals like AI robots repeating scripts endlessly which made wait times feel even longer. Additionally within our room both bedside lights were peeling off slightly tilted though still functional… perhaps housekeeping hadn’t reported these issues yet but left us feeling somewhat disappointed nonetheless. For those familiar from earlier days value-for-money perspective may seem slightly diminished now… Yet factoring current market trends alongside numerous thoughtful innovations/services provided overall remains undeniably great accommodation choice indeed!

    Above all, exceptional and pleasant customer service.

    I have used this hotel several times for my elderly mother. Although we have stayed at more expensive hotels and ryokans, we couldn't relax there due to the tension and need for consideration. However, at this hotel, perhaps because we are familiar with it, we can spend our time freely and comfortably. My mother also liked it the most.
