Support
Thank you very much for your help on the day. When I got out of the car, being told “You’re a repeat guest, aren’t you?” was unnecessary. Otherwise, I feel the Facilities and service were in line with the price. Staff training does not seem thorough.

A Father’s Day Trip to Remember
We visited for the first time on a commemorative Father’s Day trip. From the welcome drink upon arrival, we immediately felt at ease, and everything—from the Room, the meals, and the hot spring water to the warm hospitality of all the staff—made our stay comfortable from start to finish. At night, listening to the sound of the waves and spending time watching the lighthouse beam was truly special, allowing us to fully enjoy a calm evening unique to Choshi. The hot spring water felt light and smooth on the skin, with a gentle comfort that reflected its high quality. The cuisine was outstanding across the board, centered on seafood; in particular, the line-caught golden eye snapper was unforgettable—plump and thick with just the right amount of richness, offering an elegant and mellow flavor. My father said it was “the best Accommodation I’ve ever stayed at,” and it became an unforgettable Father’s Day trip for me as well. It was a stay that reminded us once again of Choshi’s charm. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

You can make hand-grilled rice crackers!!
The Room, views, meals, and baths were all wonderful, and we were able to relax in a quiet setting. Thank you very much for your thoughtful assistance with getting around the property and during meals for my elderly father. It was our first time trying to grill rice crackers ourselves, but we didn’t add enough soy sauce and it didn’t turn out quite right. We’d love to visit again and try it once more.

I was very satisfied!
We stayed on 4/30. Although the weather wasn’t great, the staff were very attentive and the food was absolutely delicious, so we were extremely satisfied with our trip! The Room was spacious and came with an open-air bath, which allowed us to relax and unwind. We would love to visit again when the weather is better. Thank you very much.

Go, Choshi!
Once a month, I enjoy visiting Accommodations where I can truly relax. Although it’s nearby, I stayed here again for the first time in a while, combining the trip with a visit to my family grave. Our Room was a corner Room on the third floor. It was spacious and had wonderful views, and at night the lighthouse light was especially beautiful. It isn’t an Onsen, but the semi-open-air bath in the Room was very relaxing, and I thought the meals were excellent. The weather was great again the next day, so we took a walk around Choshi Marina and near Byobugaura. Inubosaki and the sea were beautiful—Choshi really is a wonderful place. I hope more tourists will visit, and I hope local Accommodations and restaurants will keep working hard!

From the moment our ...
From the moment our car arrived, we were warmly welcomed. Even though many of the staff were non-Japanese, the guidance, explanations of the Facility, and overall service were smooth, and their polite Japanese was excellent—it was clear they have studied very hard. The food was exceptionally delicious—so much that we couldn’t finish it all. It felt like a waste that we stayed only one night. However, it was quite far to the large public bath, and perhaps because there were few guests, it was disappointing that not all of the tubs were filled with hot water. Even though it said “Today’s medicinal bath,” there was nothing in it.

Perfect for families with infants
We traveled with a 1-year-old and a newborn, and we truly appreciated the thoughtful arrangements for dining tables and room types to accommodate infants! Although there was no baby food, we were grateful to receive items like white rice, furikake seasoning, and seaweed for the children. A child seat was also provided, specifically a Nemulila for infants, so there was no worry about them falling. Additionally, our biggest concern—the bed—was addressed as we were guided to a room with low-height beds where we could stay without worrying about the kids falling off. The Room had an open-air bath attached, so we were completely satisfied without needing to visit the public bath. Thank you very much!

The cost-effectiveness is questionable.
The staff's service was excellent, with the reception staff providing attentive and detailed care. Even the greetings from non-reception staff, such as room maintenance personnel, were very pleasant and left a great impression. The guest room was thoroughly cleaned, allowing for a comfortable stay. However, this accommodation is not inexpensive in terms of Accommodation Fee, which I had understood beforehand. That said, considering that the semi-open-air bath in the guest room was not an Onsen and evaluating the quality of meals provided, I felt slightly uncertain about its cost-effectiveness. When asked about the possibility of staying again, my honest response would be that it’s hard to say for sure.

We had a wonderful time.
My spouse and I stayed in a room with an open-air bath on the 3rd floor. From check-in to check-out, the staff's hospitality was excellent, allowing us to have a very comfortable stay. The view from the room and the private open-air bath was by far the best among all seaside accommodations we have visited. Whether during daylight, nighttime, sunset, or sunrise, it was so mesmerizing that we lost track of time. We were celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and appreciated the thoughtful gestures provided by the staff. Dinner started with an assortment of appetizers (Hassun), and every dish was delicious. The sashimi platter and simmered golden-eye snapper were particularly outstanding—this is truly an accommodation where you can enjoy exceptional seafood dishes. As both of us enjoy drinking, we found Choshi's local sake to be incredibly delicious and perfectly paired with every dish. Thank you very much!

Ocean view and open-air bath from the room are excellent.
The ocean view from the room's terrace and the private open-air bath were excellent. The room was spacious and comfortable. However, perhaps because it was a standard plan in the hotel building, I personally did not find the meals appealing. Most of the staff were foreign, but their Japanese was very fluent, and they provided polite and attentive service.

Bath
This was the first time experiencing an open-air bath that couldn't be accessed from the washing area. I don't think this is acceptable. There was no free-flowing hot spring water either, so I won't be using it again.

I recently visited I...
I recently visited Inubosaki, a place I was familiar with since childhood, and had a very comfortable stay. When I mentioned wanting to walk to Inubosaki, I was initially advised to go by car. However, when I asked a foreign guide again, they kindly suggested taking a short walk along the seaside for an enjoyable stroll. Although I knew about this path from before, it was wonderful to find it still intact and enjoy walking close to the ocean. The meal plan turned out to be more luxurious than I remembered, and every dish was absolutely delicious. The shabu-shabu portion surprised me with its size—it was much more than expected but incredibly satisfying. The open-air bath in the room does not have a roof, so heavy rain might be inconvenient; however, being able to adjust the water temperature made it very pleasant and relaxing. Although we were guided about the large public bath area, we decided against using it as moving there seemed slightly troublesome. Unfortunately, the view of Inubosaki Lighthouse wasn’t visible from our room. However, seeing it from the Hotel terrace brought back nostalgic feelings.

Excellent!
This was our second stay. We visited last year and this year with my parents in their 80s. My parents have started to lose their hearing, but we were provided with a private room for breakfast and dinner, allowing us to converse freely without worry. However, since none of us can handle alcohol well, we couldn't enjoy the aperitif. It would have been nice if there were lighter options like plum wine or non-alcoholic plum wine. The Room amenities, tea snacks, and drinks were more than wonderful. We look forward to staying again next year! Thank you for your hospitality!

Stayed with an affordable Plan.
I stayed with a budget Plan, so I don't want to complain too much, but I have one comment about the public bath. I think the public bath is unnecessary. In fact, using it highlights negative aspects (it's far from the Room, the hallway smells like sewage, more than half of the lockers are closed off, lights are turned off, empty bathtubs stand out, and there are many insects floating in the water), which lowers the Hotel's quality. It's a shame because the Room is spacious and the private open-air bath attached to it isn't bad at all. The bathroom in the Room might benefit from some mold cleaner as well. Still, if I can stay again at a low price, I would use this Hotel again—it's all about cost performance after all!

You don't need to worry too much about others' reviews.
The review rating was not very high, but I decided to visit this time. In conclusion, it was amazing. All the dishes were delicious. They were exquisite! I will visit again. However, the large public bath was a bit disappointing (sauna not in operation). That’s all.

I stayed here once 5-6 years ago and decided to return, booking the same hotel building and a twin Western-style room. The spacious lobby/lounge remains quiet and calm without feeling crowded, offering a relaxing atmosphere just as before. While the room shows slight signs of aging, its size and facilities are more than satisfactory. The seafood premium course I ordered exceeded my expectations. The additional lobster and abalone were exceptional; the former introduced me to the true deliciousness of lobster with its tender texture, subtle sweetness, and rich flavor. The abalone offered both softness and a pleasant crunchiness that went beyond mere freshness. On the other hand, breakfast felt somewhat ordinary in terms of variety, content, and taste—offering Western options might improve it. Overall, this is an excellent place for relaxation!

A Pleasant Stay
After living in Chiba for a year and a half, I finally got to visit Choshi! I stayed at this accommodation (Hotel building). While some parts of the facility showed its age, the overall impression was clean. Contrary to some comments, I didn’t encounter any insects. With an open-air bath and a balcony, it’s understandable that insects might enter if you leave the windows open. Although it’s not an onsen, the room bath was still very pleasant. Bathing while enjoying the sea breeze, the scent of the ocean, and the sound of the waves was truly exceptional. The food was delicious and very generous in portion, leaving me extremely satisfied. While it’s not a place I can visit casually, I will definitely return when I stop by Choshi again.

A Luxurious Moment
We were warmly welcomed despite arriving early. Thank you for the kind words and complimentary drink to celebrate our slightly belated Respect-for-the-Aged Day visit with my mother. The room was so wonderful that my mother excitedly expressed her wish to stay for two nights. We truly felt your thoughtful hospitality through the amenities, towels, drinks, and snacks provided. The private open-air bath in the room was especially appreciated by my mother, who has difficulty walking, and the temperature was just perfect. Surrounded by the faint sound of waves, we were able to relax and heal at our own pace. Of course, the meals were not only delicious but also visually stunning—so much that we couldn’t finish everything! I’ve stayed at many accommodations before and often read various reviews beforehand; however, I believe in experiencing places firsthand to discover their charm myself. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

It was a wonderful Room.
The Room featured both a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room with a sofa, each equipped with a TV. There were three beds, an open-air bath facing the ocean, and a spacious deck offering views of the Inubosaki Lighthouse. It was an excellent Room for relaxation. Dinner included simmered whole alfonsino, while breakfast featured one seasonal weekday-exclusive Choshi specialty saury fish, leaving us very satisfied. The only downside was the access to the large public bath; it required walking to the neighboring building, and on the way back, we ended up sweating again. Air conditioning in the hallway would have been appreciated.

It's decent.
I stayed in a detached accommodation. The room and the open-air bath were excellent. Unfortunately, the weather was bad this time, but it seems you can enjoy the sound of waves and a sky full of stars while soaking in the bath. Dinner included sashimi such as spiny lobster and golden eye snapper, as well as meat and seasoned rice; both the quantity and taste were satisfying. However, it would have been better if there was a clearer concept for the meal. When leaving in the rain due to a typhoon, it felt quite lonely to only be told from the counter to use an umbrella without any further assistance or send-off.

The female staff at the restaurant were excellent!
The women's bath was terrible! The lighting was dim, some baths had no hot water, and it was unbearably hot. Neither the changing room nor the hallway had proper air conditioning. The walk from the Room to the large public bath was far. And in the Room's bathroom at night, bugs would come in! I didn’t use it (though I called the front desk and they responded), but I still didn’t use it. The restaurant was amazing!!!! The food was delicious with a wide variety of dishes! Also, the amenities at the annex were excellent! ReFa hair dryers and straighteners, E STANDARD shampoo, conditioner, and body soap—using them for the first time left me impressed. While there are areas where they’re doing their best... I wish they’d put more effort into air conditioning or improving the baths!!!!

The staff includes few Japanese members, and training for foreign employees is insufficient.
Dinner is at 5:00 or 5:30, as mentioned at the reception. A more polite approach would be, "What time would you like dinner to be served?" The room bath was smaller than shown in the catalog photos. In the morning, there were insects floating in the basement bath. Dinner had no special features except for the golden eye snapper, and it was surprising to see a hot pot served in this heat. Everything was disappointing compared to the price. Canned beer: 600 yen, Medium bottle: 980 yen—what's with these prices?

Great view, excellent service! Would love to stay again!
We stayed in a family Room with an open-air bath on the second floor. Here are the highlights: -Room- ・Amazing view ・Spacious and clean ・Well-stocked amenities ・Complimentary drinks (water, tea, juice for kids) The weather was great, so we enjoyed soaking in the open-air bath while admiring the horizon. It was wonderful! Even our 4-year-old loved the view. -Service- ・Polite and friendly staff They welcomed us at the parking lot, helped with our luggage, and provided detailed explanations about the Facility and Room. They even served drinks and chocolates during their explanation, which was a nice touch.

The pricing does not match the level of service.
Positive Points: The female staff who served dinner was very polite. The view from the room was great. Negative Points: The open-air bath in the room is completely visible from certain angles, making it unusable during the day. I went to the public bath instead, but it was unbearably hot. I was informed that the air conditioning system is broken, which should be fixed immediately. In the changing area, lockers were reduced and space minimized for electricity savings, creating a dim and eerie atmosphere. As for the Onsen itself: some baths had no water filled; there were broken saunas; showers with abnormal water pressure due to malfunctions; baths that were not natural flowing Onsen but just filled with water; and despite being advertised as an Onsen with ocean views, all you could see was an unkempt jungle-like scenery. Unable to relax at all, I gave up quickly and left only to find myself drenched in sweat because of the broken air conditioning system. When I decided to use my room's open-air bath at night instead, a large number of slugs appeared through gaps in wooden planks—completely unacceptable. Additionally, although there was a "sanitized" seal on my room's toilet indicating cleanliness, upon opening it I found dried stains that seemed like menstrual blood from a previous guest—absolutely appalling. After reading other reviews as well, it seems many facilities have been broken for quite some time now without repair. This gives off an impression that management doesn't care about guests' experiences as long as people continue booking stays—a very unpleasant realization. If this were a budget accommodation perhaps such issues could be overlooked—but at approximately 45,000 yen per person? Completely unacceptable! I will never return again.

The view from the Room's bath is spectacular.
The highlights were the view and sounds from the open-air bath in the Room. Even during the hot summer, a pleasant breeze blows in the evening, making the bath comfortable while you hear only the sound of waves and birdsong. The carpet and smell in the Room were a bit concerning, but considering Facility aging, it seemed unavoidable. As for meals, it was great that hot dishes were served while still hot, and staff members—though foreign—were very polite and left a good impression. Given that it was during peak season around Obon holidays, I felt that this price was understandable. I had high expectations based on Facility photos; my apologies for any misunderstanding.

Stunning sunrise views
The room offers a panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean, allowing you to enjoy a stunning sunrise. (The open-air bath in the room also provides a spectacular view.) The room is spacious, clean, and very satisfying. Meals were average—neither particularly good nor bad. Unfortunately, the large public Onsen was not fed directly from the source, which took away from the true charm of an Onsen experience. If you're looking for a location to enjoy beautiful sunrises, this accommodation is perfect.

The meals were exceptionally delicious and served in appropriate portions. The room's private open-air bath was perfect in size, water temperature, and the breeze passing through. The view from the room was also excellent. Although many staff members seemed to be non-Japanese, they were fluent in Japanese and provided kind and comfortable guidance. Additionally, the accommodation (including the annex) was thoroughly cleaned with no visible trash or dust. However, the corridor leading to the main building's large public bath did not appear as well-maintained; particularly behind lockers where dust had accumulated. It was an extremely hot day. Air conditioning was only effective in areas such as the lobby with reception, restaurant, and guest rooms. The changing room of the large public bath (located in what seems to be part of a hotel’s main building) lacked fans or air conditioning (though a large air conditioner-like device appeared installed but wasn’t operational). Similarly, hallways leading to this area were not cooled either. Even after refreshing at the onsen baths, one would end up sweating again before returning to their guest room. There is an exclusive lounge for guests where air conditioners seem to work hard but fail significantly—especially noticeable during mornings. In terms of bathing facilities: no fresh water flows into baths within larger communal spaces; while circulation systems are disclosed publicly by management—it feels stagnant overall without perceivable movement when immersed inside multiple indoor pools themselves despite possible inflow-outflow mechanisms below surface levels observed elsewhere instead bubbles floating atop raise concerns whether normal hygiene standards apply here? Outdoor open-air onsens located farther away feature spouts designed theoretically dispensing hot springwater yet remain inactive similarly lacking visible flow patterns akin aforementioned interiors alongside similar bubble formations present too unfortunately detracting experience further altogether requiring traversing stone-paved pathways lined foot-pressure stones fixed concrete causing considerable discomfort reaching destination ultimately detracts enjoyment overall journey itself unnecessarily painful ordeal endured meantime! Considering aspects like food quality service cleanliness private-room amenities exclusively offered wintertime revisit might appeal certain extent however utilizing shared facilities remains unlikely feasible option foreseeable future circumstances persist unchanged current state affairs prevailing dissatisfaction persists unresolved entirely!

The entire building ...
The entire building is very old, and as mentioned in other reviews, some parts of the hotel had a strong moldy smell, which was unpleasant every time we passed through. The onsen was completely different from the pictures and located in an outdated facility. The women's bath had a large number of insects floating in it, making it unusable. The cold bath in the men's area was also out of service without any explanation. As someone who visited specifically for the onsen, this was very disappointing. However, the staff's service was excellent.
