    Finally visited the ...

    Finally visited the Mediterranean Village I had been curious about for so long! Despite the rainy weather, there were plenty of ways to enjoy the stay, and I was very satisfied. The electronic stamp rally within the facility was especially fun, even at 23 years old—I got completely absorbed in it. The suite villa we stayed in was a spacious two-story accommodation and very comfortable. The room was clean, and I appreciated that there were no insects—a small but significant detail. The large public bath allowed me to relax and recover from travel fatigue. As for the food, I had some concerns about Mediterranean cuisine at first, but it exceeded my expectations—it was surprisingly delicious! It was a buffet-style meal, yet every dish tasted great, which is rare for me. The staff members were incredibly kind; one gentleman who assisted us stood out with his excellent service. We visited to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday, and their thoughtful gesture of storing our cake in the refrigerator during dinner made us feel special. We used a sea taxi on our way there and a shuttle bus on our way back—both were comfortable options that made access convenient. This wonderful stay has left me wanting to visit again during another season! Thank you so much!

    Good value for the price.

    I stayed for one night. Since it was a weekday, there were few people and no children, allowing me to relax in a very quiet atmosphere. Considering the price, I think it's a great value for the ambiance and included meals. If possible, I wish the checkout time could be a bit later so I could have enjoyed my stay more leisurely. It would have been nice to have lunch before leaving if late checkout was available.

    Excellent!

    Stayed in a suite with my daughter. Woke up to the sound of bush warblers in the morning, enjoyed great views, and were very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast. We were blessed with refreshing clear skies just before the rainy season began. On our way back, we took a sea taxi to Kashikojima Station. It was a 1-night, 2-day stay that left us feeling refreshed.

    Comfortable

    We used the facility to celebrate my mother's 77th birthday, and the atmosphere of the Room was excellent, allowing us to spend a very comfortable time. In the Villa Suite, while I am not sure if this applies to all Rooms, the second floor is for wearing shoes, so you only take off your shoes in the first-floor bedroom. Although originally a private villa and not brand new, the Facility has been updated with modern amenities, so there was no inconvenience or discomfort. Despite unfortunate rain during our stay, umbrellas were available throughout the property including in our Room, making it easy to move between areas such as restaurants and bathhouses without any trouble. The bathhouse was absolutely stunning—it felt like experiencing life as an Arabian king despite its modest appearance from outside. For meals, we chose a course menu that featured intricate and surprising dishes; every dish exceeded expectations and left us highly satisfied.

    Girls' Night Out

    This was my first visit. Driving towards the Mediterranean Village, following the directional signs, I was amazed by the sudden breathtaking view. The staff noticed us, kindly carried our luggage, and guided us to the front desk with great hospitality. The buffet-style meals were delightful... Each dish was incredibly delicious, and the Matsusaka beef included as a special perk was also fantastic. We had requested a surprise as well... It was perfectly arranged and became a truly memorable experience. I would love to visit again!

    We visited from Shig...

    We visited from Shiga by car during Golden Week as a family of four (including a high school and junior high school student) and stayed in a villa. We enjoyed the course dinner from 6:00 PM to past 9:00 PM. In the morning, we leisurely indulged in the breakfast buffet starting at 9:00 AM. The adventure cruising was arranged for us to start at an unscheduled time of 11:15 AM, allowing our family of four to enjoy it privately. If I may add, the welcome cookies placed in the room were not tasty. It felt like a mismatch, so perhaps consider replacing them with something else or not providing them at all.

    The staff was polite, making the stay very pleasant. - The room was clean, but there seems to be room for improvement regarding the air conditioner's exhaust smell. - For dinner, we enjoyed the "Spain 1-star restaurant (Pasayako Course)." It was very delicious; however, preferences may vary regarding how the fish and meat are cooked. Especially for the meat, it would have been nice if they had asked about our preferred doneness. - The premises had a wonderful atmosphere that enhanced the travel experience. A suggestion would be to add a small path beside the cobblestones for easier suitcase movement. Additionally, having more variety in shops could make it even more enjoyable. *Please note that I did not use the spa facilities; therefore, my comments do not include feedback on Onsen or baths.*

    Enjoy stunning views and fresh seafood.

    We stayed for two nights during a trip with friends. The scenery within the Facility and the view from the Room were excellent, and the staff were kind, allowing us to have a pleasant time. Our Room was a Deluxe Twin in the Mikonoruka Zone. The Room was filled with natural light, featuring charming blue-and-white-themed furniture, and offered a great view of the inner sea from the balcony. Amenities included L'Occitane products, water, coffee, and welcome sweets like cookies that were replenished on the second day as well. The bathroom has glass walls which might require some consideration when using it; however, since the spa within the Facility is excellent, this shouldn't be much of an issue if you choose to use it instead. Both water facilities and Rooms were clean and comfortable to stay in. We had four buffet meals in total—two breakfasts and two dinners. In addition to standard menu items such as lobster dishes or wine all-you-can-drink options available separately but found ourselves too full given how high-quality delicious everything already tasted! Dinner operates under 90-minute sessions while breakfast runs at 60-minutes per session pre-selected upon check-in timeslot preferences accordingly! Local ingredients featured prominently across both morning/evening spreads showcasing unique delicacies like marinated pearl oysters fried moray eel alongside regional specialties enjoyed thoroughly throughout dining experiences alike! Particularly memorable dishes included Matsusaka beef curry fried pufferfish avocado salad served breakfast-wise respectively!. Honey tea kelp tsukudani sold shop premises purchaseable souvenirs takeaway home!. Although we didn’t participate this time around crafting workshops cruises fishing activities offered next visit plan trying out definitely worth exploring further!. Additional small shops cafes picturesque photo spots leisurely enjoyed overall relaxing atmosphere provided exceptional hospitality services rendered!.

    Surrounded by nature, relax and unwind.

    Exotic atmosphere Surrounded by nature, enjoy the sound of birds while having coffee on the balcony. Natural Onsen with an open-air bath featuring smooth water quality for a relaxing soak. Spa services available, with friendly staff making conversations enjoyable and helping you unwind. The meals were delicious as well. It was truly a wonderful experience, and I look forward to visiting again!

    I stayed here again.

    We previously stayed as a couple and were very satisfied with the atmosphere and meals, so we decided to return this time. Last time, we prioritized cost-performance, planning to visit Ise Shrine and stop by VISON on the way back. While searching for a clean yet affordable Hotel, we found Mediterranean Village. We were so satisfied that this time we returned with our daughter. This time, wanting to fully enjoy Mediterranean Village, we also had lunch at the restaurant. The food was delicious, and thanks to a campaign discount, my wife was surprised when I told her the price. As before, the buffet was tasty and very satisfying. Additionally, all staff members were kind and provided excellent service. The only disappointment was that there was no curtain on the window in the bathroom of our guest room. Although there wasn’t anything directly outside the window, it felt slightly unsettling. Please consider installing curtains. It turned out to be a wonderful family trip!

    I was able to relax.

    The Room I stayed in was a villa type, so I was able to relax. The view was great, and the food was delicious. It was a Hotel that made me want to stay again.

    I had a great time.

    I visited to celebrate my son's birthday. Many people were there as it was a movie filming location, and I had the valuable experience of staying in part of that scenery. The bedroom and living room were on different floors, giving me the feeling of actually living in a Mediterranean home. Both dinner and breakfast were buffets, but unlike recent buffets that tend to have an overwhelming variety, the menu was carefully selected and cooked to bring out the flavors of the ingredients, which I appreciated. Also, buffet dishes often get messy depending on who takes them, but cold dishes were creatively presented like tapas, and hot dishes were made small for easy serving with attention to appearance. Additionally, the staff was very friendly and engaged us in conversation; my son was delighted. Although it's located in a secluded area of Shima(Shima), I'm glad we came all this way.

    Truly extraordinary.

    This is a Hotel I had been looking forward to visiting for a long time. The view, whether of the sea or the buildings, had beautiful colors. Although it was cold outside, the Room was warm with effective air conditioning. Going to the spa required dressing warmly, and returning to the Room in the same outfit added to the sense of being in an extraordinary place. Perhaps a slightly warmer season would be ideal. Dinner was a Basque cuisine course at the restaurant. There was a wine course with three types (sparkling, white, and red), which was just the right amount to enjoy. The flavors included unique collaborative sauces I had never tried before, making it a delicious and enjoyable experience. The village at night was so magical, it felt like being in a foreign country. The atmosphere and music truly evoked the feeling of being abroad. I tried optional activities like making a coaster with tiles and a pearl strap, which were great experiences. This Hotel offered excellent cost performance.

    Everything is adorable!

    Everything was incredibly cute from the moment I stepped in! It truly felt like visiting a small village overseas. This time, I was looking for an accommodation where I could bring my beloved dog, and only two rooms were pet-friendly, which turned out to be great as there weren’t too many dogs around. The facility was clean and well-maintained, making it very comfortable. I couldn’t explore everything thoroughly this time, so I’d love to come back again! The staff were all kind and helpful, making my stay very pleasant. Thank you so much!

    Wonderful Hotel

    This was my second stay, and I had the best trip with my beloved dog! It was the same room as last time, but the room was clean, and the facilities for dogs were well-equipped, making it a comfortable stay. The food was also abundant, truly a buffet!! The quality, taste, and variety were impeccable!! It was delicious. It was a pity that there was no sauna in the women's bath this time. It would have been great if both had saunas. The staff's response was also excellent!! It was the best! Thank you very much.

    The open-air bath with a stunning view of Ago Bay was amazing. I enjoyed a relaxing soak in the evening and early morning all by myself. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and the buffet offered a variety of elegant dishes. Taking a sea taxi (boat) from Kashikojima is highly recommended. You might even get waves from people waiting for the sightseeing boat!

    It was a relaxing stay.

    Everything was wonderful. The shuttle service from the nearest station, the delicious meals, the streets that make you feel like you're on an Aegean island, the tranquil views of the sea and islands, the sunrise from the open-air bath, and above all, the kind staff. Hospitality is a challenging task, thank you very much.

    Everything was excellent.

    It was a trip with seven high school classmates. We liked the Room, and although the food was buffet style, everything was delicious. The weather was nice, so all the scenery was great. I would like to go again.

    It was excellent.

    It was my first private stay since visiting for work 30 years ago, and I was satisfied with everything. The onsen and other facilities and amenities were good, but the staff's service was particularly excellent, making me want to come again.

    Disappointing

    I stayed in the Villa Suite. The room was old, which is fine, but the smell of sewage from the bathroom made me feel unwell. The food had limited variety and the taste was mediocre. The breakfast, however, was delicious. It was quite expensive, but it felt like staying at a pension, which was a bit disappointing.
