    I had a relaxing time.

    We stayed here for a trip as a couple nearing our 60s. The Ryokan had a slightly aged feel, but its location right by the sea and the entrance adorned with bamboo and a flowing waterfall added to its charm. Although we checked in later than planned, the staff provided us with courteous service. The Room had hot water ready in the kettle, showcasing the Ryokan's thoughtful hospitality, which deeply impressed us. The Room was impeccably clean, and we were able to relax while enjoying the Onsen. We only had breakfast during our stay, but it offered a variety of dishes. The clam soup was especially delicious and even available for seconds. This became one of our cherished travel memories, and we would love to visit again someday. Thank you very much!

    A reliable Ryokan.

    I have stayed here multiple times. It is a well-established accommodation with excellent service. The price is so reasonable that it feels almost too good to be true. Highly recommended for those visiting Kaike Onsen.

    This is my second stay.

    The meals were delicious, and the baths were clean and excellent. The facility was relatively calm, not overly crowded, allowing for a comfortable stay. I would love to visit again. One suggestion: The EV charging service (Terra Charge) costs the equivalent of 250 yen per liter when converted to gasoline prices. Recently, this type of charger has been avoided by many EV users. It would be appreciated if you could consider offering services at gasoline-level pricing or simply providing access to regular outlets for EV users.

    I had a relaxing and refreshing stay!

    The building itself may not be brand new, but both the Facility and Room are well-maintained, thoroughly cleaned, and exude a sense of cleanliness! The lounge service was excellent, allowing us to relax while enjoying coffee or alcoholic beverages with a view of the ocean. The meals, including dishes like meat, abalone, white squid, and eel, were all carefully seasoned and delicious! The staff warmly interacted with us throughout our stay, making it an enjoyable experience for the whole family!

    Accommodation with Delicious Cuisine

    We enjoyed meals in the room, and both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The weather was miraculously good, allowing us to fully enjoy the open-air bath in the room while admiring the ocean view, which was truly satisfying. However, the bedroom felt stuffy and damp, so we had futons laid out to sleep on. Unfortunately, the mattress was hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. It would have been better if there had been an extra mattress.

    Group Travel

    It was a wonderful accommodation. The room was spacious with the ocean right in front, the facility was well-maintained and did not feel old, and even though we chose the most affordable plan, the meals were very delicious. We traveled as three families and had a very comfortable stay.

    Available before check-in and after check-out?

    As a sister Hotel to Tensui, guests are welcome to use the pool at Tensui, as well as the showers and changing rooms after swimming in the sea, regardless of check-in or check-out times. The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They even provided a free electric air pump for inflating large float rings. Thank you for the excellent service!

    Excellent location.

    The bath was expected to have a view of the sea, but due to bamboo fencing, it cannot be seen from the tub. However, the sea breeze makes it pleasant even in summer. The room offers a great view of the sea, and the location is excellent. The service was attentive, especially from the staff at the dining area who provided exceptional hospitality. With its great combination of ocean views, onsen, and location, this accommodation is recommended for all age groups. There were a few disappointing points that could be improved to make this ryokan a place I would want to stay again: 1. While I don't mind the age of the facility much, there was dust accumulated on the air conditioner vent above our table in the dining area, which made eating underneath uncomfortable. 2. The meals were served all at once in large quantities; for a ryokan with relatively high prices near the ocean, I had hoped for fresher seafood and found it disappointing instead. 3. There seemed to be an odor near the entrance of the main building—possibly sewage—which could also be smelled inside elevators; this was another letdown. Being close to Kansai raised my expectations slightly higher than usual; however, addressing these issues would greatly enhance future stays here!

    An accommodation you would want to use again.

    We stayed in a room with an open-air bath. Both dinner and breakfast were served in the room, and everything was delicious, allowing us to enjoy our meals at a relaxed pace. The exterior may feel old, but the room was simple, clean, completely dust-free, and very comfortable. The view from the room was also excellent. The staff provided service with smiles and made us feel very welcome. The public bath was nice as well; however, those who prefer hotter water might find it slightly lacking. This was our first stay here, but it exceeded our expectations and we were extremely satisfied. We had a truly happy time during our stay. This is an accommodation we would love to visit again!

    Celebrate a Birthday at Your Favorite Accommodation "Kasuitei"

    Celebrate your birthday this year at Kaike Onsen "Kasuitei." The carefully crafted dishes were all delicious, and we enjoyed the special gourmet course meal at our own pace with in-room dining. As a senior couple, we always choose accommodations with private open-air Onsen attached to the room instead of using public baths. At "Kasuitei," we also relaxed and rejuvenated in the private open-air Onsen in our room. The service provided by the staff was excellent, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. Thank you once again for your hospitality.

    The Finest Hospitality

    The staff were incredibly kind and attentive from check-in to check-out. They warmly interacted with our children, making them feel welcome. We informed them about food allergies, and they handled it with great care. The meals were absolutely delicious, and even though the children had the same menu as adults, they enjoyed trying new ingredients for the first time. It was a joy to share the same dishes together as a family during mealtime. Our children repeatedly said, "We're so glad we stayed here." Thank you for providing us with exceptional hospitality!

    The sea-facing Room ...

    The sea-facing Room had a fantastic view. It was a luxurious time to relax while gazing at the calm and clear beach. The bath was spacious and very pleasant. Even after getting out, my body stayed warm, making it feel less likely to cool down quickly. Every meal was delicious, and I was deeply impressed by how flavorful the simmered dishes were—completely satisfying. From the menu, it seemed that many local ingredients were used, which made me feel that high-quality materials were selected. Lastly, although Hotel staff must always be busy with their work, every staff member I encountered greeted me warmly and provided exceptionally courteous service, which made me very happy. I had a wonderful time here and would love to stay again when visiting Yonago!

    It was relaxing.

    Rooms with ocean views and open-air baths were excellent. The Onsen was very relaxing. I only included breakfast, but the rice was shiny, glossy, and very delicious.

    We used it for a family trip.

    Recently, buffet-style meals are common, but the dishes served on a tray were very satisfying for the children as well! If I had to say, I would have liked a welcome drink beer. Next time, I would like to stay in a room with a private open-air bath! Thank you!

    I was soothed by the wonderful accommodation.

    Welcomed by the lovely smile of the staff, we enjoyed delicious meals and spent a relaxing time in a Room with an amazing ocean view. The open-air bath and spacious large public bath provided great relaxation, and the drink service in the lobby offered alcoholic beverages at certain times, which was very satisfying. We would love to visit again with our family!

    It was a wonderful accommodation.

    This was my first stay at this accommodation. The room was beautifully designed and very clean. Being a corner room, I could enjoy views of Mt. Daisen as well as the ocean scenery. The private open-air bath attached to the room was excellent, and soaking while listening to the sound of waves was truly relaxing. The pine forest on the south side of the accommodation left a strong impression; on the morning of the second day, despite heavy rain and wind, watching the swaying pines felt like viewing Hasegawa Tohaku's "Pine Trees" painting, making me lose track of time. Both dinner and breakfast were satisfying in terms of quality and quantity. This is an accommodation I would love to visit for two or more nights if possible.

    Family Trip with Elderly Parents

    The first-floor lobby offers a sense of openness with its high ceilings and ocean view through large windows. The men's open-air bath on the second floor is exceptional. Meals were delicious, but for elderly guests or women, the portions were slightly too large, so a smaller portion option would be appreciated. Overall, we were very satisfied, but I rated it 4 stars as I felt the futon could be slightly thicker.

    This property has many attractions. ① The staff's hospitality is excellent. Arranging taxis, reserving private open-air baths, and service at the dining area are all reliable and prompt, making for a very pleasant experience. When I was worried about not being able to return due to heavy snow, they were extremely helpful in arranging an early morning taxi. Thank you to all the staff! ② There is a wide variety of baths that are healing and beautiful. You can enjoy a sleeping bath right next to the Sea of Japan with stunning views; there are also 3-4 types of private open-air baths, each beautiful in its own way. ③ The bar is highly recommended at this place. The bartender's skills, sophisticated conversation, and subtle attentiveness are top-notch here. I've visited first-class bars across the whole country, but even affluent people can relax comfortably here and enjoy delicious drinks with peace of mind. I hope this bartender will continue showcasing their skills at this property. Tottori and Yonago are wonderful places. The fish is delicious; there's warmth from people (even taxi drivers are kind-hearted), sake like Chiyomusubi is tasty too. Plus there are even yokai (Japanese folklore creatures). What an amazing place!

    We were impressed by your feelings towards the cuisine.

    When it comes to a well-established and famous Ryokan, you can expect to be served extremely delicious dishes wherever you go. The cuisine we enjoyed here was also very satisfying. The sense of "deliciousness" varies from person to person, but how should I put it... I was impressed by the subtle ingenuity and thoughtfulness delicately applied to each dish. It was a meal that made me feel the sincerity and "kindness" of those who are dedicated to their craft. Of course, the staff also treated us very pleasantly.     From the Sky of Travel

    This was my first time staying at the property, and thanks to the kindness and warm hospitality of the staff, including the room attendants, I had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious and allowed for a relaxing time. Above all, I was continuously impressed by the luxurious and delicious meals that were more than I could eat. I am truly grateful for the numerous instances of hospitality. Although I understand it may be difficult due to the facility's structure, I thought that if the room's bath were an indoor bath, it would allow for an even more leisurely bathing experience.

    The tagged live Matsuba crab was excellent!

    This time, we stayed at Stays with a plan to enjoy a full course of delicious crab, including sashimi, grilled crab, boiled crab, and crab sukiyaki, for a girls' trip. In conclusion, we were able to enjoy such delicious crab that we couldn't eat anymore! We stayed in a room with an open-air bath, so the meal was served in the room. They brought a charcoal grill to the room, and a skilled chef grilled the crab right in front of us, and the aroma was irresistible! Of course, the smell lingers in the room, but the grilled crab shell with crab miso is so delicious that it doesn't matter. However, if you don't wait for the grilled crab to be ready and mix the crab meat with the crab miso, you'll regret not saving the crab miso. For those who like alcohol, they add sake to the crab miso, which is incredibly delicious. We almost forgot that this was just the beginning of the crab full course, followed by boiled crab and crab sukiyaki. Everyone said it was the first time they had such sweet and delicious crab in crab sukiyaki. We were unsure where to go to eat delicious crab to our heart's content, but it was the perfect choice! The onsen has large baths on the first floor of the main building and the second floor of Stays. The first floor of the main building is small, but the open-air bath is very warming, and the second floor of Stays is spacious with a sauna and a water server with water from Daisen, making it comfortable. The open-air bath in the room is self-service, but we enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves at night, entering the bath multiple times, and warming our bodies to the core. My friend was excited that her skin became softer! For four people, two stayed in the bedroom, and after dinner, the dining table was cleared, and futons were laid out in the tatami room. In the morning, the futons were put away, and the dining table was set for breakfast, with a 10 a.m. checkout. However, with a full course of tagged crab served in the room, a dining room in the room, and an onsen with a 11 a.m. checkout, it would easily exceed 100,000 yen per person. At around 80,000 yen per person, we were very satisfied with the full course of crab grilled in front of us in the room, an open-air onsen with a view of the sea, and a location where we could walk on the beach! The attendant was truly wonderful!

    Disappointing

    I stayed in the guest room, but the bath was not Onsen, it was tap water! I was surprised. Meals were in a large hall with many people. I was so shocked that I wanted to go back. I wish IKYU had provided details of the room rather than the Stays. I want to be careful so that this never happens again.

    It was a very comfortable Stays.

    It was a two-night trip with my 88-year-old mother. It was a cold day, but the room was warm and we were able to rest well. The bath was clean and at a perfect temperature for us who are not fond of hot baths, allowing us to relax. We couldn't use the open-air bath due to strong winds, and the towels were a bit rough, so it's a 4-star rating. The meals were all freshly prepared, very creative, and the seasoning was gentle, making everything delicious and very satisfying. We enjoyed original cocktails at the bar counter with a fun bartender, and in the lovely lounge, we could also have complimentary coffee. Thanks to the attentive and smiling staff, it became a fun and memorable trip. Thank you very much!

    Cuisine is

    The food was satisfying in both taste and quantity, but since it was served in the Room, all the dishes were laid out at once, and the attendant was absent thereafter, requiring us to contact the front desk for additional drink orders, which was not smooth. For breakfast, the fish was lit and the dishes were set before we sat down, so by the time we sat at the table, the fire was out and the food was cold, the miso soup was lukewarm, and the attendant was absent after serving the rice. It was a slightly disappointing system as the way the delicious food was served was not ideal.
