    I’m glad I chose Ehi...

    I’m glad I chose Ehime and this accommodation for my first trip to Shikoku. They seem to use plenty of ingredients and tableware from Ehime, and everything was incredibly delicious... It was the perfect accommodation for someone like me who loves nature and auberges!

    The cuisine is exceptional.

    As expected from an auberge, the cuisine was exceptional. We enjoyed dishes featuring fish from Seto Inland Sea and Iyo-nada, seasonal local vegetables, and Iyo beef, all prepared to highlight the quality of the ingredients. The presentation of the food was stunning, and combined with the location overlooking a lake and greenery, it created a truly extraordinary experience. However, despite the stylish and tasteful atmosphere overall, there were some areas that felt less refined. The service was slightly awkward at times, and the bathroom design made it inconvenient to use. Additionally, there was water leakage on the bathroom floor which left my feet wet during the night (there were signs of previous repairs suggesting this might be a known issue). A bit more attention to detail would have been appreciated.

    Good.

    It was great to see the cherry blossoms right in front. There was a room above, and the noise from there was disturbing. Without that, I think it would be a good accommodation. I accidentally took the room key with me. I sent it back immediately via Letter Pack, but there was no confirmation of receipt at all.

    We enjoyed meals tha...

    We enjoyed meals that showcased a love for local ingredients, especially the delicious vegetables. There were no particular issues with the guest rooms or facilities. However, it might be more comfortable if the restroom was private, and having a speaker would be nice as well. Thank you for accommodating our request to change the dinner time from 8:00 PM to 7:00 PM despite not noticing the two-time seating system initially. The staff were very kind and attentive. We look forward to visiting again in seasons other than spring!

    Blissful Moments

    The building, decorations, tableware, cuisine (top-notch), and wine were all meticulously crafted to perfection, making it the ultimate auberge. With high artistic value, it was the best Hotel I have ever stayed at. The service was thoughtful and smartly attentive—truly outstanding. I would love to visit again in a different season. The Room we stayed in was Tsubaki.

    I've been interested...

    I've been interested in this place for several years, and I finally got to visit this time. The breathtaking scenery was even more impressive than in the photos, and I was deeply moved. I heard that everything from the building, paintings, and art to the furniture is expressed with all things Ehime, creating a calming space with a sense of storytelling. The meals also featured an abundance of fresh fish and vegetables unique to the Setouchi region, offering a delicious taste of natural flavors.
