    Everything was rich and wonderful.

    This was the first time I stayed at such a magnificent Hotel with a rich history in the countryside. Watching the sunset over the ocean from my window was unforgettable. The abundance of amenities, such as tatami mats, yukata, towels, and lounge services in the lobby, felt unique compared to other Hotels. Additionally, when I apologized for being late to check-in, a staff member kindly responded with "Not at all." Their use of such refined language despite their youth left me deeply impressed. It was the most memorable and outstanding hospitality of this trip. Thank you very much!

    Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted at the entrance and guided to the parking area with care. Check-in was a pleasant experience in the lounge space, where we enjoyed a welcome drink and received clear explanations. The meals were all delicious with generous portions, leaving us fully satisfied. The room was clean and well-maintained, offering a beautiful ocean view from the window. Comfortable samue and yukata were provided, making our stay even more enjoyable. The Onsen featured both hot and mild baths, allowing us to relax and unwind from our travels. The only disappointment was purchasing sake at the souvenir shop; it was priced 1.5 times higher than in city souvenir stores—this oversight on my part left me feeling regretful after checkout. Other than that, it was an excellent hotel experience overall! If I visit Aomori again, I would definitely choose to stay here once more. Looking forward to next time!

    Return Service

    I recently stayed at your accommodation. The room, the meals, and the staff's attentive and kind service were excellent. However, it might just be us, but while we were warmly welcomed at the parking lot upon arrival, after completing our payment, we only received a "Thank you" without any send-off or invitation to return. It felt a bit lonely. At other ryokans or accommodations, there is usually a send-off at least to the entrance, so it left us feeling slightly disappointed.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    The Room and bath were beautifully maintained, and the lounge was stylish and relaxing, providing a perfect space to unwind. I especially enjoyed the café time and alcohol time. The Nebuta Festival show during dinner was very entertaining, and I loved that it was interactive. The staff's efforts to ensure guests have a great experience were truly appreciated. I would love to visit again if given the chance and will definitely recommend it to my friends. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Wi-Fi is weak.

    Wi-Fi is weak. The open-air bath in the room faces a sea fishing park, making it almost visible from outside when the lights are on at night. A suspicious white van was parked unnaturally sideways during both night and morning, which felt unsettling. The hot water temperature adjustment system is inconvenient and difficult to use. I later heard from a local in Aomori that the quality of this accommodation's onsen isn't great, but its accuracy is unknown. As for meals, while the abalone was tender, sashimi was already placed before we were seated, and appetizers were completely cold. The buffet was average with nothing particularly good or bad to note. For guests staying in higher-priced rooms, offering private dining or other differentiations might be worth considering. The room had been renovated with a well-thought-out layout that was quite nice. Overall, this review may seem critical; however, considering there are very few accommodations in Aomori offering onsen guest rooms with open-air baths of decent quality, I felt this accommodation has made efforts through renovations and hope they continue striving for improvement.

    Aomori Experience Journey

    The Room with Onsen was very clean, and the Onsen was relaxing. It was also comfortable to choose from different samue outfits. The Jawameki Night featured wonderful dances and was enjoyable. However, while the meals were tasty, they seemed simple considering the price. Additionally, since we dislike buffets, it would be nice if breakfast could also be served as a set meal.

    The stage was amazing.

    The Jawameki Night was wonderful, but the performance of "Kokoro" on the shinobue by Kato Haruka during the Tsugaru Shamisen live deeply touched my heart. Thank you very much.

    Relaxing Time

    We visited as a family. We were able to spend a pleasant time experiencing the extraordinary with the onsen, dinner, and shamisen live performance. Of course, the quality of the facility and cuisine was excellent, but we were especially grateful for the warm hospitality of all the staff. From our window in the morning, we could see Mt. Iwaki, leaving us with a refreshing feeling as we departed from Stays. We definitely want to visit again with our family.

    Experience Japan's Number One Festival

    During my previous stay, I was very satisfied with the facility, onsen, meals, kind staff, and shamisen performance, but I revisited to see the Nebuta Festival show. It exceeded my expectations. I was moved by the dancers who jumped while performing hand dances, singing, playing instruments, and shouting. It made me want to see the main event in summer. The shamisen and flute performances afterward were also wonderful. Asamushi Onsen is the best. Highly recommended.

    Meals are buffet style.

    We chose this property for the snow and onsen. It took us 6 hours to get here due to heavy snow stopping the Aoimori Railway, but the onsen was spacious, and the clean large bath was nice. However, the outdoor bath with a good view was a bit disappointing due to its narrowness and lack of a sauna. The meals were a course dinner on the first day and a set meal plus buffet on the second day. The buffet had high-quality seasoning, with a very rich selection including sushi, steak, tempura, pizza, and pasta, which was satisfying. At night, we enjoyed a Tsugaru shamisen show. However, the children's meal we ordered separately was mostly fried food, which didn't offer much for kindergarteners, so the buffet was a better choice. There are few tourist spots around, so two nights is the limit; one night is sufficient.

    Relaxing Onsen

    I made a reservation looking forward to enjoying the onsen and sea view. After the renewal in April 2024, I had a very comfortable stay in the property where Aomori Hiba was used throughout. The meals were delicious, and the staff's hospitality was friendly, making it a property I would like to visit again.

    Enjoy Aomori

    I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. The Room was very clean, and outside the window was the sea. There was also a spectacular view from the bath. The meals were delicious, starting with Aomori-style shellfish grill, abundant seafood, and freshly made sushi. The breakfast was also plentiful and delicious! The shamisen performance was moving. I would love to visit again.

    I want to use it again!

    The overall service was excellent! The meals looked and tasted great, but the rice in the nigiri sushi served at dinner was terrible. It was dry and crumbly, possibly frozen? Without this sushi, the food and ingredients would have been perfect, which is a shame. Given the high quality of the other dishes, I wonder why that rice was served. But overall, I am very satisfied. I would definitely like to use it again.

    It is a long-established Ryokan in Aomori.

    It was a large Ryokan near Aomori. Perhaps due to abnormal weather, it was still hot in October, and the air conditioning was weak, making it difficult to sleep at night. Other than that, the meals and service were excellent. The beautiful Mutsu Bay could be seen from the Room and bath.

    The best sunset.

    The sunset viewed from the newly renovated and beautiful Room's sunken kotatsu was superb. The sushi dinner we were looking forward to was delicious, and since the pieces were small, we had several helpings. Another highlight, the scallop dish, was the size of baby scallops, and it was disappointing that there was no raw option. The view from the panoramic bath was also good. The retro-style changing room and bathroom were clean and pleasant to use. Alcoholic beverages are a bit pricey, so for someone like me who loves drinks, it can be tough on the wallet.

    The sunset is amazing!

    I made the reservation to see the sunset. Although I was enjoying sightseeing and gave up seeing it from the property, I checked in after being moved by the sunset before arrival. The onsen was great, and I was able to warm up nicely. The meals exceeded my expectations, and I was able to experience both amazement and satisfaction with everything I ate. It was a half-buffet, but I was able to enjoy live sushi, steak, pasta, and more. Usually, with buffets, I often get full without enjoying the taste, but the steak was delicious, juicy, and tender, and the sushi was truly delightful. Local specialties were creatively prepared, and the conversation with my companion about the cooking methods and such made for an enjoyable dinner. Above all, the genuine smiles of the staff, which were not forced, left a lasting impression as true hospitality. Breakfast was, of course, of high quality, and I wanted to eat more, but I was too full. It is a property I would like to visit again for the sunset and meals. Thank you very much.

    It was a very comfortable Hotel. The Tsugaru shamisen live performance at night was also great, and my 4-year-old child was delighted. I would like to stay again.

    Smell of chlorine

    The large public bath had a strong chlorine smell. The volume of the karaoke show after dinner was at full speaker capacity and was unbearable to listen to. The mechanical response at checkout reflects the inn's attitude.

    It is a good inn.

    It was my first time at Asamushi Onsen. The inn was very clean, from the front desk to the rooms and the bath, making for a pleasant stay. The dining and show while watching the Nebuta were very nice, and the food was delicious. The breakfast had a wide variety, and although I was initially seated, I was guided to a window seat when it became available, making the breakfast even more enjoyable with the ocean view. The bath had both lukewarm and hot tubs, and I appreciated the lukewarm onsen as I prefer it. The bed in the room was comfortable, and I thought it was wonderful that both samue and yukata were provided. The staff greeted us whenever we passed by, and the service during both dinner and lunch was excellent, making it a very comfortable inn.

    The sea is beautiful.

    The weather was nice, and the sunset just over there was very beautiful. The accommodation was convenient, being close to the station. The meals were not as good as expected, but everyone was very accommodating, making it a pleasant stay.

    Satisfied with the customer-oriented service!

    It was my first time visiting Aomori, and I highly appreciate the customer-focused service at this facility. Not only was the level of response from the customer representatives impressive, but the Tsugaru shamisen performance during and after dinner was also wonderfully planned, allowing even amateurs like us to fully enjoy and feel engaged. The atmosphere among the staff was also commendable, as they maintained a constant sense of professionalism, which was very pleasing. I would like to visit again during the cherry blossom season.     This was my first visit to Asamushi Onsen. I took a leisurely trip on the local Aoimori Railway. From the moment I checked in at the front desk, I was treated kindly and shown to my room. The view from the window was wonderful. The bath on the top floor also had a great view, and I was able to relax and enjoy it. The meals were delicious with plenty of seafood. After dinner, I had a great time with Tsugaru shamisen, folk songs, and Nebuta dancing. Recently, there are fewer inns that offer such events and hospitality, but everything at this inn was wonderful. I am truly grateful for the hospitality. It became a great memory. Thank you very much.

    Nice travel dream feeling

    I stayed here last year and it was good, but

    Overall, I am satisfied, but... am I the only one who felt that the quality of the food has declined compared to when I stayed last year? The scallops seemed smaller... Also, it was a bit disappointing that the welcome drink was slightly reduced. The customer service is still perfect, isn't it? It's far, but I was so impressed last year that I came all the way to Aomori... I'm not sure about next year. The shamisen performance was more enjoyable than last year. It might be better for amateurs to have someone who is fun to talk to.
