    The facility seems outdated, as I had trouble adjusting the air conditioning. It took 20 minutes for the bathtub to drain, possibly due to poor drainage.

    I use it frequently these days.

    With only 2 weeks left until the Expo, accommodation prices in Osaka have significantly increased, and this hotel is no exception. I use it often recently and think it’s a good hotel. However, the breakfast menu is always the same, and since it’s a served-style breakfast, there’s no choice. This needs to be improved.

    I would like to stay here again.

    I only stayed for one night, but it was very comfortable. The Room and amenities were excellent. I will use this place again when staying in Osaka.

    Stay at Ando Architecture

    I chose this accommodation because I wanted to stay in an Ando-designed building. I wasn't aware that it was such a romantic hotel, so I was surprised by the interior of the room (Black Tea), which felt like a love hotel. As an older woman staying alone, it caught me off guard. Additionally, the sink and bathtub were very high, which was a bit challenging for someone short like me. The edge of the bathtub was about 60 cm high, making it feel like climbing up to get in, and water would run down my arms while using the sink due to its height. However, this might not be an issue for taller or younger guests. The balcony was unnecessarily spacious, which also surprised me. Despite its size, there were only two chairs and a simple table with an ashtray placed on it—it felt a bit lonely. The items in the refrigerator were expensive, so I didn't consume anything from there; however, having an espresso machine and kettle available was appreciated. The young staff members were very friendly and polite. When I asked if I could visit the church on-site, they kindly guided me there for which I'm very grateful. Seeing Ando's architecture made me extremely satisfied with my stay. Additionally, when I showed them that I'd posted about my experience on Instagram, they gave me Bulgari lip balm and hand cream as gifts—this made me really happy!

    The balcony offers a great view.

    The room features large, long windows that lead to a spacious balcony. The lounge, exclusively for guests and open only at night, also offers outdoor seating with beautiful night views. On weekends, weddings are held, and the front desk and wedding reception area share the same space. The location is excellent, and the TV includes apps allowing you to log in to Netflix and Disney+. Disappointments: I always choose a bathroom with a washing area. This time, I reserved two rooms of the same type. Based on the photos showing bathrooms with washing areas, I assumed both rooms would have this feature. However, while one room matched the description, the other had a shower inside the bathtub. Upon closer inspection, it was noted that room specifications differ between odd and even floors. Since this is an important point for me, I would have appreciated clearer details and photos that avoid potential misunderstandings. Additionally, there was a slight musty smell from the air conditioner.

    It was a truly wonderful anniversary.

    I visited with my son as he is turning 6 next week to celebrate this special occasion. The entrance was a bit hard to find, and we got slightly lost. We were upgraded to a spacious Room due to availability, and it was incredibly large, stylish, and had an amazing night view! The lounge offered unlimited drinks, which felt like great value. The original cocktails were delicious, and we enjoyed a luxurious time while admiring the night view. Breakfast was healthy and very tasty! Thank you for preparing a meal for my son as well. When I mentioned his upcoming birthday next week, they even provided us with a cake. The thoughtful gesture made us so happy. It turned out to be the best birthday trip ever. I would love to stay here again!

    The staff is exceptionally friendly.

    I stayed for a multiple night stay for sightseeing in Osaka. I chose this accommodation because of the spacious room, but what impressed me even more was the staff's excellent service. Although they were mostly young, everyone was cheerful and pleasant, providing thoughtful yet unobtrusive care. The complimentary alcohol service in the lounge also added great value to my stay. However, the room's interior felt slightly outdated. That said, having such a spacious room with a balcony in this prime Umeda location is truly a hidden gem. I will definitely use this accommodation again on my next trip to Osaka!

    All rooms are suite-style at the Hotel.

    A beautiful mansion hotel designed by architect Tadao Ando, "Harmonie Embrassee Osaka." This time, I stayed in a Deluxe Twin Dolce Vita room on the 19th floor, measuring 52m². The room had a horizontally spacious layout. Thanks to the IKYU Diamond benefits, all drinks in the refrigerator were complimentary, which was delightful. Located along Shin-Midosuji Avenue, the room offers a panoramic view of Osaka's cityscape. The night view is stunning. The toilet and bath are separate; however, in this particular room type, the sink and toilet are located side by side within the same space. On the 10th floor, there is an exclusive free bar for guests where you can enjoy complimentary alcoholic beverages and light snacks. Although there is a slight sense of aging overall, the staff were very kind and made my stay comfortable.

    Anniversary

    We stayed at the accommodation to celebrate a special occasion, and this was about our fifth stay. The staff are always courteous, making our stay very comfortable. Thank you for all the thoughtful arrangements this time. We used the lounge, and the original cocktails were absolutely delicious. The male staff member who made them had a wonderful smile, provided excellent service, and crafted truly authentic cocktails that impressed us! We will definitely return again.

    It was a wonderful anniversary.

    I visited the lounge alone during a quiet time, and the staff provided such pleasant service that I felt completely at ease even as a solo female guest. The room is long horizontally, so the air conditioning doesn't distribute evenly, but it wasn't much of an issue for sleeping. My husband had separately made a reservation for afternoon tea, and it was rare to be able to get refills—it left us very full! Thank you also for the lovely message plate and candle. It became a truly memorable trip. Thank you very much!

    Consistently reliable.

    I have stayed here several times, and I am completely satisfied with the staff's hospitality, the Room, the bath, and the toilet! The location is also excellent—about a 5-minute walk to the station, with four convenience stores within a 5-minute radius and a McDonald's just 2-3 minutes away on foot! It's a place I can recommend to others and would love to revisit myself! However, if I may make one small request, it would be that the table in the Dolce Vita Room is very small and narrow, which is quite disappointing. That said, even considering this point, it's still a place I can recommend to others and want to revisit!

    The facility feels a bit outdated, but it is still comfortable.

    We stayed in the "Omakase Double Plan" room. The hotel seems to primarily cater to weddings, and many of the guests appear to be couples. Caution: - Located along a main road, so car noise can be loud. (There are soundproof windows, but you can still hear honking.) - The air conditioning is not very effective (it takes time for the room to cool down). - The room is spacious, but the bathroom is small. Good points: - There’s a bookstore (Junkudo) on the first floor, making it easy to pass time. - For this price range around Umeda, it’s hard to find such a spacious room. - The staff's hospitality is excellent.

    They are very attentive and supportive.

    This is my 3rd or 4th stay at this accommodation. Since it was during Golden Week, it was crowded and check-in took some time, but everything else was excellent. I deeply appreciate it.

    This is a Business Hotel.

    I used to frequently stay at this accommodation, but recently it has become so popular that it's hard to book a room. The rooms are incredibly convenient and feel just like home! The water facilities have been upgraded compared to before, making them even more user-friendly. However, I was surprised by the frequent mistakes made by the staff! Especially when it comes to money matters, I hope they double-check thoroughly. For instance, during check-in, I was charged for the accommodation fee despite having already paid online. Additionally, although parking is free, I was initially charged and had to complain before getting a refund later. Also, I was disappointed by the night front desk staff chatting loudly and enjoying themselves while on duty.

    It was very nice, but just a little disappointing.

    The staff were absolutely wonderful, providing warm and attentive service! The young staff members were highly professional as Hotel personnel. I ordered Room service, and the phone response was excellent. The meal was delicious, and the staff who served it were outstanding. Breakfast accommodated my allergies, which I greatly appreciated. The Room was comfortable, especially the bed mattress, pillows, and bathrobe that suited my preferences perfectly. I also enjoyed spending time on the terrace comfortably. Additionally, I used the lounge with a rooftop terrace offering a relatively wide selection of alcoholic beverages where I could relax. It would be even better if sandwiches, prosciutto, or fruits were available for an additional fee. One minor downside was the placement and number of power outlets; it was inconvenient to charge devices or use a hairdryer or curling iron in areas like near the sink or makeup space due to lack of outlets there. Being close to the station is another plus point—I would love to stay here again!

    It was a very nice Hotel.

    Arrived after 9 PM, but the Hotel is conveniently located about a 7-minute walk from Umeda Station, and the check-in process was very courteous. The Room's facilities were thoroughly explained. The building itself is not rectangular, so the Room had an interesting and unique design. The fridge contents were free to consume (apparently a benefit for Diamond members), and I also had access to the lounge, which led me to indulge a bit too much. There are few drawbacks; however, due to the nature of the Hotel, there was no desk suitable for PC work. Additionally, the main lighting in the Room was placed in an unusual spot that felt slightly awkward. It was also nostalgic yet slightly inconvenient that instead of a card key, traditional keys were used and needed to be left at reception each time. Still, it’s surprising to find such a Hotel in central Osaka! I would love to stay here again if given another opportunity.

    Satisfied.

    The Room matches the photos and is not very spacious. There were instances where only one amenity was provided or communication was lacking, but it wasn't unpleasant. Although I usually avoid unit baths, this one seems to be a unit bath as there is no separate washing area. However, the distance from the toilet and the view from the bathroom were nice, so it was acceptable. The lounge service is excellent, and all staff members were very accommodating. I traveled by car, so I'm unsure about the distance from the station, but I enjoyed strolling around at night and found the location convenient. Overall, I am extremely satisfied and would love to visit again!

    The Accommodation Fee is reasonable, and it’s a great Hotel that won’t disappoint. The breakfast service is just right – you should definitely try the honey and bacon. I’d love to stay here again if I have the chance.

    It was a wonderful anniversary.

    Since both my spouse and I have our birthdays in December, we wanted to celebrate nearby and chose this Hotel, even though we live in the city. I had heard that the building was designed by Tadao Ando, and the Room was truly wonderful with a spacious layout and great views, and it was impeccably clean. I love Rooms with a view bath, so I requested one in advance, and I was delighted to get the Room I wanted. The bathroom and toilet were especially clean, with a view, and it was perfect. The lounge was much more luxurious than I expected, and at first, I was worried there might be an extra charge, but the staff explained everything, and I had a very enjoyable and wonderful time. Breakfast was also very lovely. It wasn't the usual buffet; it was a course meal from the morning, which was impressive. Everything was delicious, and I thought I'd like to try the dinner next time. I made some selfish requests, like borrowing a small table or a plate, but everyone responded kindly and politely, and thanks to them, I was able to have a very wonderful anniversary. The Room was truly wonderful, so next time, I would love to celebrate our anniversary in a different Room. I look forward to visiting again.

    The location is nice.

    I think so. We stayed as two seniors, but I felt it was a place for young couples. With a large traditional front desk and lounge, many guests, and a typical room layout, it felt like a hotel with a new sensibility to someone like me who is used to it. The evaluation might be a matter of personal preference.

    I was able to refresh myself.

    The TV was not working well, so I had to change rooms, but I was guided to a spacious room on a high floor, which made me feel a bit lucky. The night view was beautiful. It was nice to be able to use the lounge and enjoy sparkling wine and other drinks. I was able to have a leisurely breakfast and spend a luxurious time.

    A lovely Hotel above Junkudo

    Stayed for a visit to the Umeda Arts Theater. The room has a balcony, offering a sense of openness not found in recent hotel stays. The water facilities prioritize design over functionality? Nevertheless, it is not inconvenient. Surprisingly, there seemed to be no use by foreign tourists at all! It's rare in today's Osaka, and it was very homey. Encountered a wedding use, which was heartwarming. The guest lounge also has an outdoor space, which I used comfortably. Thank you for your hospitality.

    This is a hotel I would like to use again.

    It was my first time staying here, but I had a very pleasant stay. I chose this hotel because I wanted to enjoy breakfast leisurely rather than in a buffet style. The breakfast was very delicious, and I was pleased that the coffee was to my liking. The omelet had a strong egg flavor, and I could tell they used good quality ingredients. The hotel staff's service was also excellent. I was upgraded to a better room, which allowed me to relax. I would like to stay at this hotel again.

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time using this hotel after reading reviews and introductions, but I had somewhat mixed feelings about it. First, the entrance was hard to find, and when I got lost, someone in the parking lot silently guided me to the elevator. However, if they had just asked, "Are you here for Harmonie?" I would have been reassured. The only sign I noticed was the one in alphabet letters (HARMONIE EMBRASSEE), so even when I reached the front desk, I was unsure if it was really the place I intended to go. Regarding customer service, the staff seemed to be very attentive to the point where I felt a bit overwhelmed, but perhaps because there weren't many smiles, it felt somewhat cold. Even when I asked questions, it seemed like they went to the back of the front desk to confirm with someone, and there was no immediate response, making me regret asking in the first place. The room was said to be designed with a concept by a famous person, and it had a spacious and stylish atmosphere, but it was so dark that I couldn't figure out where things were until my eyes adjusted. Since I arrived at night, I had to open the curtains and rely on the night view to check, which was not very functional. Also, the air conditioning noise was so loud that I thought people sensitive to noise might not be able to sleep. I've stayed in many hotels, but I don't recall a room with this level of noise. I was satisfied with the bath and amenities, but when I tried to use the hairdryer, the outlet position on the sink was hard to find. I finally found it on the right side, but for some reason, the plug wouldn't fit, so I couldn't use it. Also, it might have been just my room, but the bidet function in the toilet didn't work (after mentioning it to the front desk in the morning, it worked on the second night, but there was no explanation from the staff about the cause). The breakfast seemed to be a point of pride for the hotel, and it was delicious, but on the second morning, everything except the juice was exactly the same, so once was enough for me. Also, when I showed my room key to the staff closest to the entrance, they gestured with their chin to tell me to speak to the staff over there. I had high expectations, so there were various disappointing aspects, and it seemed like they were only superficially trying to appear luxurious. I felt that true luxury is recognized when there is thorough maintenance and staff attitude (which is quite different from well-known hotels).
