    Use of the Plan selected by the property

    I booked the Room-assigned Plan. It seems you provided a spacious Room, and the bathroom and toilet were separate. The amenities were well stocked, and there were plenty of chairs and a desk, so I didn’t feel anything was lacking during my stay. I’d love to stay with you again.

    It was very good.

    We stayed on the 27th floor with four people. It was great that the bathroom and toilet were separate, and we also loved the ReFa hair dryer, straightener, and shower head. The amenities were well stocked. In particular, it was nice to have kids’ slippers and a toothbrush set. Access to Universal was convenient, and the natural Onsen had an amazing view. It was also a nice touch that it came with either a beer or Häagen-Dazs. The premium breakfast on the 32nd floor was excellent as well. This is one of the best Hotels we’ve stayed at in years. If we go to Universal again, we will definitely Reserve here again.

    Unfortunately.

    The Room smelled like the previous guest. After informing the staff, I was able to move to another Room. However, it seemed unprepared—the humidifying air purifier had no water and could not be used. As for service, although it is described as a luxury Accommodation, it felt more like a Business Hotel. They do not seem able to provide service tailored to each Hotel guest. There also appeared to be no particular consideration for guests with lots of luggage, families with children, or those with limited mobility. In that respect, it is inferior to other luxury Accommodations. My expectations were high, which made this especially disappointing. The Facilities and meals were average. There was nothing particularly distinctive. The shower water pressure was weak. Unless something changes next time, I will never use it again. Overall, I cannot rate it above 2 out of 5.

    For the price…

    Regarding meals, I chose the premium breakfast in the morning. For a one-night stay, it was satisfying. Compared with the other breakfast venues, the view was better, it wasn’t crowded, and the food was delicious. Above all, the fresh juice was excellent. However, it was disappointing that the menu hardly changed at all. Regarding the Room, I stayed in a Junior Suite, but the toilet is in the same space as the sink and bath area and is only enclosed with frosted glass, so you can almost see inside. Many guests likely stay with family, so the toilet should definitely be separate. Using it in the morning requires a lot of consideration for others. Also, having a separate bathtub and shower booth made it inconvenient to use. My biggest complaint is that you can’t turn off the ventilation system, which makes the Room extremely dry. There is a humidifier, but its capacity is nowhere near sufficient.

    The location was excellent. It was also great that the hair dryer and hair iron were from ReFa. I’d like to stay here again when visiting USJ.

    Old but fairly clean

    We asked for an early check-in, left our luggage in the Room, and headed straight to the park. It was 1,000 yen per hour, but we used it. The Hotel Room and amenities were well stocked, and we had a comfortable stay. It’s conveniently located with easy access from both the park and the station. There’s a Lawson downstairs and a Starbucks nearby. For breakfast, you don’t have to eat here—if you go outside you can easily buy something—so No Meals Included was fine. A few days before our stay there was an additional discount, so we rebooked and were able to stay for about 20,000 yen less—very satisfied. At check-in we were given something like coffee tickets, which we used during breaks. We enjoyed drinks, soup, and chocolate fondue.

    Plenty of power outlets by the bed!

    Depending on the Room, the power outlets by the bed are very well equipped. I have stayed at several nearby Hotels, and this one was the best in that regard. I was too tired to use the large public bath, so I did not rate it. The provided pajama pants are navy, which I think makes them comfortable for women to wear as well. Overall, I think this Hotel offers excellent value for money.

    The Room was renovated, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom felt a bit dated, but it was clean. Check-in was smooth. However, there was nowhere to put luggage in the Room other than on a chair. Where is it supposed to be placed?

    The best Hotel!

    On our first trip to USJ in a while, we chose Hotel Keihan for its proximity to USJ and the price, and it was excellent! Since we were staying for an anniversary, we were happy to receive a thoughtful message. Both the bathtub and the washing area were spacious, so even after coming back tired, we could relax and unwind in the bath. If I had one request, it would be great to have chairs or a table on the locker floor to organize luggage.

    A Hotel that makes you want to stay again

    We stayed here to attend the USJ private night event. Since we needed to enter the park from 14:00, I asked in advance about early check-in and was told it was available for just ¥1,000 per hour—so I signed up without hesitation. Thanks to that, we were able to complete check-in, enjoy the café from 14:00, and then head to USJ. After fully enjoying the private night event and returning to the Hotel after 22:00, we were completely exhausted—but going straight back to our Room and resting right away was absolutely the right choice. It was also a family member’s birthday that day. The message card in the Room was adorable and made us very happy. The Valentine’s chocolate gift also made a great souvenir. Above all, we were thrilled to be upgraded to a larger Room. Having separate bath and toilet areas made it very comfortable. What impressed me during our stay was that housekeeping staff we passed in the hallway always stopped what they were doing, faced us, and greeted us politely. The training is excellent, and we felt reassured throughout our stay. The front desk team and breakfast restaurant staff were also consistently courteous and attentive despite being busy. This really earns high points for us. It was a trip where we found a Hotel we truly want to stay at again.

    It was freezing cold...

    When entering from the entrance near the station, there was an animal-like odor. At check-in, it felt like the front desk staff was standing right behind me, which didn’t feel very comfortable. The building was extremely cold overall. Perhaps because I stayed on a bitterly cold day in February, it was freezing inside. The Room, hallways, Onsen water temperature, and even inside the Onsen were all cold. In the Room, the shower would turn to cold water every time I stopped it, and the temperature was lukewarm, which was tough. Even in the Onsen and while showering there, it was cold and the water temperature was lukewarm, so it took a long time to warm up. The relaxation area after bathing was also cold. On a positive note, it was great that there were a water dispenser and microwave in the hallway inside the building, along with knives and forks and chopsticks.

    Honestly, I was disappointed.

    I stayed here for my parents’ birthday, but honestly, I was disappointed. There was a lot of hair and some unexplained stains on the bed, and both the bath towels and face towels were dirty, which felt unpleasant. Even my parents—who are more forgiving than I am—said it was a bit much. (After reading other guests’ Reviews, I noticed many similar comments, so I couldn’t help thinking, “Oh…”) The food was also just okay. Even the broccoli in the salad seemed frozen… I did like the lobby atmosphere, the automated check-in process, and the view—but overall it was disappointing. I probably wouldn’t stay again.

    Easy and hassle-free.

    Although the Room was assigned upon arrival and check-in was at 6:00 PM, it was great value for money. After fully enjoying Universal Studios Japan, we could check in as we were, which made everything easy and hassle-free.

    Perfect for visiting USJ.

    I stayed here to visit USJ. It was very convenient—close to the station, USJ, and a convenience store. You can store your luggage in lockers free of charge before and after check-in/check-out. We received a welcome drink voucher that could be used the same day at the café downstairs, and disposable heat packs were provided in the Room for each guest. USJ was very cold in January, so the heat packs were really appreciated. You can hear quite a bit of noise between Rooms. It sounded like there was a small child two Rooms away, and we could hear crying fairly clearly. (It’s normal for babies to cry, so it didn’t bother us much.) The Room was quite dry. A humidifier is provided, so I recommend using it. The large public bath required an additional fee, so I rated the bath slightly lower. If you’re visiting USJ, this is a highly recommended Hotel.

    The Onsen, meals, and room were all excellent.

    It seems that the stay coincided with a school trip group, but there were no issues, and the elevators were not crowded. The onsen was spacious, and the water quality was excellent. Being on the 31st floor, the view was spectacular! The hairdryer and shower were from ReFa. Afterward, you could enjoy either beer or Häagen-Dazs ice cream! The premium breakfast buffet in the morning offered a wide variety of dishes, with particularly delicious fish. The room also had a ReFa curling iron. This was the best hotel experience near USJ so far!

    For two people, including one child

    This time, I stayed with my elementary school child for a trip to Universal Studios Japan. Previously, I stayed at a hotel across the road, but since a cold wave was expected and I wanted to avoid walking too much, I chose this hotel. As it was an extremely windy day, there were constant noises throughout the night—possibly from the neighboring room or outside—which made it difficult to sleep. This might be inevitable for tall buildings... However, although the room type was left up to the hotel, it was very spacious for two people and quite satisfying. Next time, I'd like to try using the Onsen.

    The rooms and meals are satisfying.

    I stayed here for my trip to Universal Studios Japan. Although check-in was at 3:00 PM, I arrived at the front desk around 2:30 PM and was offered early check-in for 1,000 yen. At first, I thought it wasn’t worth it for just a few minutes, but they mentioned that I would need to line up again in a crowded queue at 3:00 PM to fill out information. So, I decided to pay and head straight to my room. It would be nice if they allowed guests to complete the check-in process earlier and simply hand over the room key after 3:00 PM. The Room was clean, but even though it was on a relatively high floor, it faced another Hotel directly across from us. Keeping the curtains closed felt necessary for privacy. As for the panoramic bath, I had high expectations since it costs 2,000 yen per adult. However, there were limited spaces available for washing up before entering the bath. Additionally, there were several areas where amenities or towels had been left behind as trash—this was disappointing. Regular checks would be appreciated. That said, the bath itself was relaxing and enjoyable. Breakfast on the 32nd floor was delicious overall! The freshly squeezed orange juice stood out—it tasted amazing! Even my kids couldn’t resist going back for seconds!

    Upgrade

    I initially reserved a budget-friendly room, but during check-in, I was offered an upgrade to the Tower Premium DX Room for an additional charge. I decided to give it a try, and it was truly luxurious. The facility included separate toilet and bath areas, a large TV, chandelier, humidifier, air purifier, refrigerator with freezer compartment, high-end hairdryer, pajamas as bedding attire, and top-notch amenities comparable to those of a luxury hotel. Among Universal Studios Japan's official hotels, this is undoubtedly top-class. As visitors from Shikoku who frequently stay overnight here due to our annual passes (now on our 11th year with over 100 stays), we still believe this hotel is the best choice. Everything you could wish for in a room is already provided here—it’s impressive! From now on, I'll opt for the higher-grade rooms without hesitation.

    Excellent service.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. I truly appreciate the staff's attentive service. When I called the front desk at night to request a blanket, they first kindly asked if the Room temperature was too cold. Later that night, when my child developed a fever, I called again to borrow a thermometer. The staff also offered an ice pillow and cooling sheets, showing great care beyond just fulfilling our requests during busy hours or late at night. Their thoughtful response deeply touched us. My daughter and I were both moved by their kindness. The check-out staff were also very pleasant, and I would highly recommend this place to everyone. Of course, the view from the Room and amenities were more than satisfactory as well. I will definitely stay here again in the future!

    A cost-effective Hotel where you can rest immediately after enjoying USJ.

    The location is excellent with great access to USJ, making it convenient to rest right after enjoying the park. We stayed at USJ until 10 PM that day, and although the kids were very tired, it was a huge relief to check in immediately after exiting the entrance. There are several other hotels within Universal City, but this Hotel had the most affordable price and offered great value for money. I would definitely choose this Hotel again when visiting USJ in the future.

    Convenient for families visiting the park

    We stayed as a group of five spanning three generations. The proximity to the park is incredibly convenient for families with children. We paid an additional fee to use the natural Onsen on the 31st floor, and both the lockers and baths were clean. The post-bath ice cream was delightful not only for the kids but also for adults, and enjoying it together as a family while admiring the night view from the 31st floor was wonderful.

    To your favorite Hotel

    The reviews were great, so we had high expectations, and it did not disappoint. The room with the bunk bed was wonderful, and the kids loved it. Having an onsen in a hotel was also a fantastic feature. Towels were freely available, the hairdryer was by ReFa, and with services like complimentary drinks and ice cream as well as the beautiful view, we didn’t feel that the price was too high. What left a lasting impression was the service from the staff. They seemed very attentive to guests' needs. At check-out, a female staff member who assisted us went above and beyond by accompanying us downstairs and helping store our heavy suitcase in a locker—thank you so much for your kindness. We would love to visit again!

    It was disappointing.

    I stayed at the accommodation for the Expo as I was unfamiliar with the surrounding hotel situation and had never used USJ before. I made a reservation with expectations based on reviews, location, and the renovated room. The front desk service was polite but felt formal and impersonal. The room was fairly spacious, but the chair arrangement was awkward and inconvenient to use. Although it was a renovated room, the bathroom remained outdated, which was disappointing. I did not use the dining services but received a welcome drink ticket; however, it didn’t seem necessary to distribute tickets for this purpose. There were many group bookings such as school trips, making it hard to relax in this hotel. It seems like an accommodation that only appeals for USJ visits rather than other purposes.

    Sparkling Moments

    I had the opportunity to stay at a hotel I had admired for 20 years and always wanted to visit, bringing my family along and receiving exceptional service. The interior was beautifully maintained, the view was stunning, and everything from the staff's hospitality to the meals was flawless. As it was a multiple night stay, the cleaning in between was thorough and impeccable. I would love to stay here again. Thank you so much for turning our enjoyable memories into unforgettable ones!

    I would like to stay again.

    Stayed with friends and children. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the kids enjoyed it too. Check-in around 3 PM seems to be busy, so adjusting the time slightly is recommended. Excellent access from USJ, very close to the Expo venue, and great value for money—highly satisfied!

    My go-to Hotel.

    I have stayed at all the hotels on Main Street in Universal City, but this Hotel is my favorite in terms of cost and convenience, and I have stayed here about 20 times. I often stay with my family of five, and it’s surprisingly rare in this area to find a Room with "separate bath and toilet" and "a non-transparent bathroom door." Additionally, the spacious lobby and the large number of elevators mean shorter waiting times even during busy periods, which is a big plus. Compared to other hotels, it may feel slightly less USJ-themed or luxurious, but the comfort and ease of staying here are what I love the most. The photo panel near the entrance is something we take pictures with every time, but it would be even better if it included a way to display the date. As a side note, the grand staircase leading to the lobby was used as a filming location for the TV show "Detective Knight Scoop," so fans of the show might find it exciting!

    Breakfast service was managed by a single staff member.

    The seating guidance is handled by one person, so if you arrive early, there might be a considerable wait. There were plenty of staff inside, which felt a bit odd. Perhaps they are dividing tasks between full-time and part-time employees, but wouldn't it be better to let part-timers handle the seating guidance? At the very least, it's better than keeping customers waiting. Many visitors to the park or those heading to the Expo during this season likely want to finish their meals as quickly as possible. Regular guests might already know this and opt for a Plan without breakfast. The restaurant is located on an upper floor, offering great views from the windows. You can even see the Expo's iconic roof ring!

    Completely satisfied with my first stay!

    This time, I stayed for the first time with a "Room at Our Discretion" plan! The room I was assigned exceeded my expectations with its premium feel, and I was thrilled! The toilet and sink were separate, and the bathroom even had a washing area! It was an incredibly stylish and luxurious room where I could relax comfortably. Complimentary water, three bottles of Aquarius, and even a large bag were provided—such thoughtful service left me deeply impressed! The water dispenser could switch between ice and water modes, making it very convenient to use. I've stayed at many accommodations before, but this hotel offered unique services that I've never encountered elsewhere—completely satisfying my stay! This hotel has become one of my absolute favorites! The Halloween decorations were extravagant and perfect for taking photos—I was delighted! Since the decorations change with each season, I'd love to stay again during another season. Next time I visit, I'd like to stay in the same room as this time. It was such a wonderful experience that created great memories—I am truly satisfied!
