    Simply outstanding.

    We stayed as a family of four. We have visited various accommodations as a family before, but everything here is exceptionally outstanding.

    It was a very lovely accommodation.

    It was a great experience. I visited for a friend's birthday, and they were very satisfied. The meals were incredibly delicious. The Room was spacious and beautiful. Although the main building's large public bath is a bit far, the open-air bath attached to the lower floor and the Room itself were more than enough to enjoy. One minor disappointment was that despite checkout being at 11:00 AM, there seemed to be no shuttle bus to the station after 10:30 AM. I forgot something during my stay, but it was safely delivered by mail. Thank you very much!

    With my 88-year-old mother

    I stayed with my elderly mother and had a wonderful experience. A few years ago, we visited Izumi Kei, then in 2020, Kaho. I had always dreamed of visiting the special annex someday, and I’m glad we finally decided to go. Although my mother can walk, she often uses a wheelchair for mobility. Having a private bath in the Room allowed her to enjoy bathing after meals, before bed, and even in the morning. She felt truly relaxed without any discomfort and was very happy. The annex was quiet and felt like an entirely different world. The matcha tea served before entering the Room and the subtle hospitality were delightful touches. We had such a great time. Thank you very much!

    A Property I want to visit repeatedly!

    This was my second stay at Koshinosato, and I stayed for one night starting January 31. The meals, the Facility, and the hospitality of the staff were all wonderful, making it a Property I want to visit many times. I was truly able to relax. Thank you very much. I plan to visit again soon (during Golden Week)!

    It was excellent!

    The staff were all kind and attentive, making for a pleasant stay. The room was excellent, and the snowy landscape view from the private open-air bath was breathtaking. The food was also incredibly delicious. It was the perfect accommodation with exceptional hospitality that makes me want to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Japanese-Western Suite Room with Silk Bath on the 6th Floor with Panoramic View at Koshi no Sato

    The staff's response and the facility are excellent. The dinner (luxury kaiseki 15,000 yen) is satisfying in both quantity and quality. The breakfast included high-fat dishes unsuitable for the elderly, such as stew, pork hot pot, thickened simmered dishes, and rich stew, which were left untouched. I settled for rice, miso soup, and pickles. Yogurt and juice are good. The menu was entirely unsuitable for the elderly. Other than this, I am satisfied. The stay was comfortable, so I would like to visit again, but I want to check the breakfast menu before booking.

    An annual indulgence

    As an annual indulgence, I stayed at the property. Every year, I choose a different room with a silky bath, and every room is very relaxing, allowing for a leisurely rest. Not only the room amenities but also everything in the refrigerator, including water, tea, and alcohol, is free, which is appreciated. There is a welcome service at check-in, and this time, starting with matcha and dumplings, it lifts the mood from the beginning. They also check the ingredients I am not fond of from my stay history before I mention it, which is impressive. There are privileges exclusive to Koshinosato Stays, such as keeping the parking space open right in front of the entrance, having a private lounge and open-air bath, and early check-in and late 11 a.m. check-out, so it doesn't overlap with Kaho Main Building Stays guests, allowing for a very luxurious experience. My whole family had a very satisfying day. I will use it again next year.

    月岡温泉好きですが・・・

    Disappointed with dinner.

    This was my second time using Stays Koshinosato. I was satisfied with the Hokuriku Support Discount last time, so I used it again, but the dinner was disappointing. You can choose from 10,000 yen, 15,000 yen, and 20,000 yen, and this time I chose 10,000 yen. I have used Kaho many times, and I thought the previous dinners at Kaho were better. I had too high expectations for the 10,000 yen dinner at Koshinosato. The sashimi of frozen scallops had turned black, which surprised me. Also, the appetizer was served towards the end of the course, which was shocking! This never happens at Kaho, so even without considering the food, such service is unacceptable. I don't think I'll use it again. Also, the attendant at both dinner and breakfast was an elderly person, and every time I conveyed my requests, their expression changed, showing signs of annoyance. I was really disappointed because the young staff at the front desk were very accommodating. Even if there is a shortage of staff, I hope they carefully select the personnel. It's not a cheap Accommodation Fee. The breakfast was good!

    Used for mother-daughter trip

    It was my second stay following last year. As with the previous visit, the staff's response from arrival to farewell was excellent, and the amenities were well-equipped, allowing us to have a perfect time. When waiting in the lobby upon arrival, there were tables with and without snacks, and this time we were at a table without them, which felt a bit unfair. It might be difficult due to space constraints, but it would be nice if even a small container could be placed on the two-person tables. During dinner, when my mother had difficulty bending her knees at the sunken kotatsu seating in the room, a staff member noticed and promptly suggested and arranged a change to a room with chair seating. We are very grateful for this. Thanks to them, we were able to fully enjoy the delicious meal without any worries. The only disappointment was that, unlike the previous visit, there was no grilled nodoguro with seaweed salt for dinner. It might be because we downgraded from the 20,000 yen course, which had a large quantity, to the 15,000 yen course, but I was looking forward to it, so it was disappointing. I assumed nodoguro would be served, so I should have confirmed in advance. Also, during the previous dinner, there was a commemorative photo service, which I thought was nice, but it wasn't available this time. Was that service just a coincidence? Overall, it was an excellent property where we could enjoy an extraordinary experience, and I would like to repeat my stay.

    A wonderful Ryokan that exudes the pride of a long-established inn!

    This was my first time using this property, but I will definitely repeat! It is a large ryokan in the middle of a rural area with nothing around. The large, luxurious lobby is filled with fresh flowers, creating a powerful yet pleasant fragrance. The lobby offers a wide variety of welcome drinks and desserts, providing a perfect experience. The staff are very pleasant and well-trained, with a refined demeanor. My spouse and I travel about 10 times a year, and it seems that foreign staff are increasing. However, all the staff here were Japanese. The room, bath, and meals were all impeccable! During breakfast, the proprietress greeted guests while serving, which was impressive. Upon departure, they kindly took photos and saw us off from the entrance to the car. It felt like being seen off by my mother from my hometown, leaving me with a warm and happy feeling. As it was our 30th wedding anniversary, they prepared a celebratory meal with mizuhiki decorations for dinner and gave us a photo frame as a memento. This ryokan is filled with heartfelt hospitality. It is clean, and both the onsen and the room's open-air bath are spacious, but the main building's large bath is also excellent. There were also free drinks and shrimp miso soup available at the post-bath area. This is a property I hope will remain for future generations. The thoughtfulness, high-quality service, and smiles of the staff. I felt it was a warm and excellent ryokan unique to Japan. Next time, I want to bring my family.

    It was a Jade Room!

    It was a Jade Room! It was a room with a view, but unfortunately, the window glass was dirty. The cleaning, like spider webs, felt a bit lacking... However, the food and service were very delicious. Thank you again.

    Second stay this year

    The service, room, and facilities are wonderful. This time, I chose the top course for meals, but I wish they had served it at a better pace. After finishing one dish, I had to wait for a while before the next one was served, and by the time it was over, I didn't want any more because I was already full. I had to ask for the rice and dessert to be brought immediately. The staff's service is excellent, but the female staff at the shop during checkout (around 11 am) was the worst. It stands out negatively, especially since all the other staff are so good. Her service was below that of a convenience store (I am by no means belittling convenience store staff), that's how bad it was. It's puzzling why only this person hasn't been properly trained. I informed the male staff about the poor service of the female staff at the shop.
