    Amazing hot spring quality

    Silky smooth Onsen Even the open-air bath in the Room is silky smooth. Truly impressive. The distance from the entrance to the front desk and the structure that prevents cars from pulling up directly might cause a bit of confusion. There was a mismatch between the menu guide and the actual dishes served at dinner, which was a bit disappointing. However, the quality of the Onsen more than made up for it. The Room was also very relaxing and excellent. If it were closer, I would make it my regular Property.

    The quality of the hot spring water is exceptional.

    This is my second stay at the Property. The quality of the Onsen is absolutely amazing. The silky smooth texture is something you can't experience elsewhere. I was surprised at how soft and smooth my hair felt the next day after washing. The Room also had its own bath, and I enjoyed soaking in it at my leisure. The food was perfectly portioned, with great taste and presentation, leaving me completely satisfied. I was also comforted by the adorable resident cat. This is a Hotel that makes you want to come back again.

    It was very disappointing.

    First, the room had an open-air bath, but it took more than 2 hours for the water to fill up. Also, I ordered room service, but the tempura was cold, and the butter-grilled abalone was also cold and hard. The breakfast ozoni was warm, but the mochi inside was cold. The meals were very disappointing. The room also had hair and dust... I went there at the beginning of the year, but it was really, really disappointing.

    Wonderful

    Wonderful. The service, Onsen, meals, and Room are all very good. I didn't know there was such a nice Onsen in Izu. I've been to various Onsens in East Izu, West Izu, and Shuzenji, but there was no Onsen better than here. I will visit again, so please take care of me.

    I'm glad I visited based on the recommendation.

    I was recommended by two colleagues who praised the wonderful water. Although the spring quality is pH 9.5 and strongly alkaline, it is also ultra-soft water, which is rare. The ultra-soft water is easy to drink, and I was surprised by the smoothness when I took a bath. I understood why it was so strongly recommended by both of them. I made an effort to book the Pygmalion Special Room, which is a suite type, spacious, and a corner room that offers a proper open-air feeling. It even has a jacuzzi bath, and the room is equipped with a high-spec massage chair, providing every comfort. The tea snack served at check-in was something called "Kaikou Saichuu," which I had never seen before, but it was typical of Shimoda, where Perry arrived, and it was very delicious. The kelp tea was also very tasty, and I thought of trying to imitate it at home. I didn't have high expectations for the meals due to some occasionally harsh reviews, but the luxury and taste exceeded my expectations, especially the broth of the hot pot, which was wonderfully delicious. Normally, I would leave the broth, but I drank it all. When I mentioned this to someone I talked to in the large public bath, they agreed. With such a delicious hot pot, I thought it could be the main dish. Of course, the sashimi was also delicious, with each person served a small Ise lobster, and the Ise lobster, onagadai, and tuna were all very tasty. The room, Onsen, and meals were wonderful, but the staff were very friendly and kind, making the stay even more enjoyable. A cute cat also came to greet us, making the stay even more relaxing. I was surprised to receive a very nice souvenir at checkout! Such a wonderful souvenir reminded me of the Akazawa Geihinkan, which has a parent company that makes products. Thank you very much. I had a great end-of-year experience. I hope to visit again in a different season. Thank you very much.

    Rewarding Trip

    This is my third time at Kannon Onsen. Although I made a reservation the year before last, I had to give up due to the COVID-19 outbreak. This year, I was worried about the flu spreading, but I was able to go safely. Traveling from Tokyo to Izu Shimoda is fun, but the main purpose is to stay at Kannon Onsen and heal the daily fatigue. The food is delicious, something you can't usually taste, and the onsen is a beautiful skin bath that you definitely can't find in Tokyo, leaving your skin smooth and perfect even after time passes. It's easy to see why it's popular among women. If you're going on an onsen trip, Kannon Onsen is a sure bet! It's a property I want to recommend to everyone. Also, since reservations are in high demand, I don't know when I can go again, but I'll work hard and visit again.

    Recommended by a friend, I stayed one night with my husband. It was undoubtedly the best Onsen water I've ever experienced! I could immediately feel the difference in my skin, making it smooth. My husband was also impressed. The water was not too strong in taste and easy to drink, so we drank a lot. There were water dispensers with Onsen water available everywhere, which was appealing. I'm considering purchasing one for our home. The meals were delicious, and the portions were just right. I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.

    Very satisfied!

    My favorite hot spring inn. Of course, this time I went with friends. The shuttle bus service to Shimoda Station was convenient, the room was clean, and although I didn't have time to use the in-room hot spring bath, I regret not trying it as it felt silky just like the large public bath. The large public bath was, of course, silky and felt like soaking in lotion. The lukewarm temperature of the open-air bath is a bit concerning, but if it's not a cold season, you can enjoy a long soak. I feel like my skin condition improved after returning home. The meals were Japanese cuisine, filling and delicious. We were also recommended a shop with delicious sweets. My friends were extremely satisfied and we plan to visit again soon.
