    Stayed with us again after approximately 40 years.

    During our stay during our newlywed days, we used Japan's largest garden-style bath and were amazed by its size. The quality of the Onsen at Tamatsukuri was excellent, providing a relaxing experience. Additionally, the tatami in the room was fresh and new, which left a lasting impression.

    Traditional Ryokan

    I used the Shuttle Service, and I thought the staff were very welcoming from the moment they greeted us. Although only a three-bed Room was available, it was barrier-free despite a small step to the bathroom area. The Room was spacious and very comfortable. Meals were served in semi-private dining spaces, allowing for a relaxed experience. The Onsen was also excellent, and I would love to visit again with the same type of Room.

    Snow and Traditional Onsen Ryokan

    Went to Tamatsukuri Onsen, famous for its hot springs, with my son and his wife. Our outbound flight was canceled due to snow. We stayed overnight at Haneda and took the 7 AM flight to Izumo. Although our landing was delayed, we toured Iwami Ginzan by rental car. Seeking a unique onsen experience, we headed to a long-established ryokan. The spacious grounds allowed us to admire the garden, which was beautifully maintained. The large mixed-gender open-air bath had a comfortable temperature that allowed for extended soaking. On the morning of the second day, we couldn't reserve a taxi but were kindly given a ride to the station—thanks for that! Thanks to this kindness, we could visit Izumo Taisha as planned. The snowy Izumo Taisha and snow-viewing open-air bath were superb experiences. Even with multiple night stays, meals did not repeat; they were delicious and showcased the chef's excellent skills. It was an amazing ryokan.

    Travel for two

    I visited Izumo Taisha, Hinomisaki Shrine, and the lighthouse. Although there is some age to the Facility, all the staff treated us pleasantly. I was able to spend a calm and quiet time. The clam soup for breakfast was delicious, and I had a second helping.

    The meals were disappointing.

    The meals were ordinary, and it was disappointing that the local ingredients were not utilized to their full potential.

    Chorakuen

    I used this place with my grandmother who is in a wheelchair. We had requested a bed, but on the day of our stay, we were informed that a bed wouldn't fit, so they accommodated us by providing extra futons. To be honest, there were some inconveniences for wheelchair users, but it's fine for independent adults staying! Haha
