    We could see the fireworks.

    Even during the holiday period, I was able to stay without it being extremely expensive. Since it was midsummer and there was no Shuttle Service to the station, I felt like I might melt. It was quite far on foot. Please note that even if you stay in the annex, check-in is at the main building. The Room was clean. Dinner was also delicious. The breakfast buffet wasn’t very good, and I didn’t like that the miso soup came from an automatic dispenser. Luckily, it happened to be during a Kirishima festival, and we could see fireworks.

    The service was wonderful.

    This was my first stay. The Hotel staff were very courteous and helpful. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the dinner was.\nI would definitely like to stay again.\nThank you very much.

    Feel at home, just like staying with family.

    Whenever I visit my family home nearby, I stay here. It’s a reliable Hotel that makes me feel at ease. I’ll be back again during the Obon holidays.

    Whenever I return to...

    Whenever I return to Kagoshima, I always make a Reservation at this Hotel and stay here as a substitute for my family home. The staff’s warm smiles are truly reassuring. Breakfast in the morning has limited variety, but I recommend the bonito flakes and egg over rice.

    We had a relaxing stay.

    The Room and washbasin area were spacious and comfortable. The bed was great as well. The Onsen was clean and relaxing, and it helped soothe the fatigue from our trip. These days, many Hotels feel small, but the open-atrium design of this building felt a bit nostalgic and comforting. All the staff were kind, so we had a very pleasant stay. Thank you.

    They kindly allowed us to check into the Room early.

    Our child got carsick and was wiped out, so we arrived at the Hotel early without doing any sightseeing. Even though we didn’t specifically request it, they allowed us to check in early. We stayed in the annex building, and it was a long walk to the large public bath and the dinner venue, but our child loved the moving walkway along the way, which actually made it fun entertainment. Towels are provided at the large public bath, so we didn’t have to bring our own. The breakfast buffet had a limited selection, and there wasn’t much that suited our taste.

    This Accommodation is clean and well-maintained, and you can enjoy a comfortable stay.

    Overall, this is a Hotel that is well cleaned and very satisfying. One thing to note: the Japanese restaurant requires a Reservation by the morning of the previous day. The black curry was delicious, but after the Onsen I would have liked to enjoy Japanese food with some sake. There is also a buffet option, but I hope they will continue to offer Japanese set meals as well, especially for older guests.

    Stay When Using Kagoshima Airport

    I arrived at Kagoshima Airport in the evening, and since my connecting flight was the next morning, I stayed at a Hotel near the airport. It’s about 15 minutes by taxi, with a fare of around JPY 3,000 each way—JPY 6,000 round trip feels quite expensive. The limousine bus to the city costs JPY 2,800 round trip and takes about 50 minutes one way. Either way, an overnight stay is necessary, so it’s something to think about. The airport Hotel I used before was convenient with Shuttle Service included, but it’s currently being rebuilt and seems to take more than another year. The Hotel itself is clean and beautiful—I like it.

    I was satisfied.

    This was our second stay, following last year, because our child loves it. This time we used the dinner buffet Plan. There was a wide variety of dishes and we were very satisfied. Thank you as well for the complimentary one-drink voucher at the restaurant. The guest room was also clean.\nHowever, we could hear the sound of water droplets falling from behind the wall in the room throughout the night. As a layperson, it felt like it might be a leak from aging plumbing.\nCongratulations on your 30th anniversary. It’s a wonderful Facility, and I imagine maintenance is challenging, but we hope you will continue to provide comfortable operations going forward.\nWe’ll be back!! By the way, I work in the same industry and learned a lot!

    Well maintained and kept clean.

    Although it is quite an old Hotel, both the exterior and the Room were kept clean and well maintained. I only had breakfast, and it was decent.

    This is a corporate training facility.

    It felt more like a training center than I expected. Maybe it was just by chance, but there were a lot of guests from Korea. I had the buffet dinner and breakfast, and the food was below family-restaurant level; I was surprised that a place serving food at this standard calls itself a Hotel in this day and age. Is this supposed to be proof of what Mr. Inamori of Kyocera wanted to convey to JAL? For some reason, the buffet was Korean cuisine. I did receive one free beer, but it came in a very flimsy glass. The salad was exactly the same at both dinner and breakfast—does the chef have no motivation at all? The Onsen was noisy, and the changing area was small; overall it felt like a shabby Facility. It’s labeled as a Hotel, but this is clearly a training center.

    I use this Hotel for business. There is an Onsen inside the Hotel, which is truly appreciated for a tired body. The other day, I arrived late due to work. I will use it again.

    Accommodation for Families with Children

    We stayed here during our trip from Osaka with my child. My child loved the bath. Kirishima Shrine was farther than expected, but it became a great memory. We could see Sakurajima from the Room.

    A conveniently located Hotel close to the airport

    Convenient access to various destinations. Approximate driving times: 20 minutes to the airport, 30-40 minutes to Kirishima tourist area, 10 minutes to Kyocera Kokubu, and 40-50 minutes to Kagoshima City via highway depending on the location. The Onsen is a highlight, featuring the soft and warming waters of Hinatayama Onsen. Breakfast is an ordinary buffet—neither outstanding nor disappointing—with local specialties like braised pork and chicken rice adding a regional touch. The view of Sakurajima from the Room is beautiful; this time it was lightly covered with snow, which was lovely. It looks different from how it appears from Kagoshima City, almost like another mountain. Smoke can be seen on the left side, likely with ash falling toward Kanoya area.

    Great value for money.

    I stayed for a concert in Kagoshima City. The Hotel met all my conditions, including late-night check-in availability, a large public bath, and multiple dining options nearby, so I made the Reservation. Both the breakfast and bath were pleasant, and the staff's service was excellent, making it a comfortable stay. I also appreciated the separate-style room wear. I would love to use this Accommodation again!

    I had a very satisfy...

    I had a very satisfying stay. The Room and the facilities were clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax. The design of the building was also soothing. I would definitely like to use this place again. There was only one disappointing experience: early in the morning, while I was enjoying a relaxing soak in the large public bath, someone suddenly threw water with a bath bucket towards the fogged glass with such force that it reached the ceiling. It startled me greatly. They continued doing this in several spots, so I decided to leave immediately. I'm not sure if it was a staff member or another guest, but after leaving, I noticed they changed into what looked like aerobics attire, so perhaps they are a regular visitor. Other than that incident, everything else was truly wonderful!

    The facility is very spacious and clean, which is highly satisfying, but it felt a bit challenging to move from the bath to the Room or from the restaurant to the Room due to the size. I opted for a plan with breakfast and dinner included. The red miso soup was very delicious, but the miso in the regular miso soup was too light, almost like drinking hot water, which was slightly disappointing.

    The unit bath feels a bit dated. With fewer weddings held at the Hotel, managing the business might be challenging.

    Depending on the Room, walking long distances within the Hotel can be a bit much.

    The design of the main building might be by a renowned architect, but it seems questionable whether usability was fully considered. Rooms far from the elevator require quite a bit of walking, and since I used the laundry, I had to go back and forth between the main building and annex twice. The connecting corridor between the main building and annex is also quite long, with a slight slope towards the main building that felt uncomfortable. Unless you're only planning to visit the large public bath, I wouldn't recommend staying in rooms on the main building side—it’s tiring. For those using laundry facilities, choosing a room in the annex is probably better. That said, personally, I found some of the facilities overly luxurious for my taste as an ordinary person; it didn’t feel relaxing. I’ve deducted points for how much unnecessary walking was required.

    A large-scale Hotel designed by Kisho Kurokawa. As an architecture enthusiast, I took lots of photos. Despite its size and the area seeming a bit quiet, it was well-maintained and very pleasant. The large public bath was also great.

    The large public bath being an Onsen is delightful, but having to check in at the reception each time you enter, while reassuring for security reasons, makes it less appealing to visit multiple times like at a Ryokan's large public bath. (Just a personal opinion...) As for the meals, both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and the rice was particularly memorable for its delicious taste.

    Very beautiful

    The Hotel was very beautiful with a luxurious atmosphere and stunning views. The view of Sakurajima from the Room was amazing, and the bath was clean. However, the breakfast was disappointing in terms of taste and variety.

    No Meals Included, but I had a comfortable stay. The cleaning was thorough, and all the staff were very pleasant. There were also foreign staff members, and everyone was great!!

    It was very comfortable!

    It was my first stay, but the room was clean, and the amenities were of good quality. The coffee maker and kettle were also new, which made for a pleasant experience. Even when I requested towel service, it was very prompt, and the staff's response was excellent. I would definitely like to use this accommodation again in the future.

    Meticulously maintained throughout.

    Despite the spaciousness of the Hotel, it was impeccably clean and provided a comfortable stay. I tried the breakfast, which had a wide variety of options, but the quality was comparable to that of a Business Hotel. Personally, I believe focusing on fewer menu items with higher quality would enhance satisfaction. Thank you for your hospitality!

    It was comfortable.

    I stayed for the first time as my daughter often receives help from work and recommended it. First of all, the staff at the Hotel are very polite and make you feel comfortable. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned, allowing for a pleasant stay. The Japanese dinner was truly delicious and satisfying for both the stomach and the heart. The Onsen was also nice, but if I had to say, it would have been even better if there was an open-air bath. I also think it would be nice to have an open kitchen for the breakfast buffet. I will use it again. Thank you very much.
