    It was a wonderful time.

    The meals were delicious, and the staff were very kind. It was very unfortunate that the large public bath was unavailable. I would love to visit again.

    It is a small Stays, but it is tastefully decorated and the food is delicious.

    About 10 minutes from Amami Airport. The large public bath is currently under construction. When unloading luggage in the parking lot, the staff ran from the front desk saying, "I'll carry your luggage." The gravel path is helpful for the elderly. 3 nights with breakfast included. You can choose between Western or Japanese breakfast at 7, 8, or 9 o'clock. The Japanese breakfast includes free-range eggs and freshly cooked rice. The Western breakfast offers croissants and mini bread from a famous nearby bakery, with refills available. The menu was gentle on both the eyes and stomach, and I looked forward to it every morning. However, by the third time, it might become repetitive. We made a dinner reservation once. Amami Gozen 6600 yen. It was exquisite. Even the miso soup was full of flavor with a large shrimp, and it was more than enough to satisfy a woman's appetite. The dessert was yomogi mochi, which can be eaten in Amami Oshima, with a unique aroma and softness. However, being too full, ice cream or jelly might have been better. The room is simple but tasteful. Without a TV stand, the room felt spacious, and since we reserved an ocean view room, the horizon was visible from the balcony. The amenities were well-stocked, including skincare products. My friend was pleased with the extension mirror. The bath and toilet are separate. Above the refrigerator, there were not only mugs but also plates, and there were two free bottles of water per person every day, which was helpful. One request: The light in front of the toilet turns on every time you move, which was a concern at night. If there's a switch, please let us know. Although the large public bath is under renovation, I would like to visit again!

    The meals and the staff's service are excellent!

    From the prior email exchanges, the staff was full of hospitality! I'm glad I chose to stay here for the first night, it turned out to be a wonderful trip. The food was delicious, of course, and the presentation and tableware were lovely. It was unfortunate that the bath was under construction... The tour of Oshima Tsumugi was also informative, and I would love to stay at this property again when I visit Amami!

    The food is delicious.

    Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared with healthy Amami cuisine, which was very good. The portion size was just right for me, but my husband mentioned it was a bit small. We were also guided through the Oshima Tsumugi Museum within the facility, and it was great to see Tanaka Isson's folding screens up close. I think it's a great location for spending the first night after arriving in Amami and touring the northern area. However, it was unfortunate that the large public bath was under repair and unavailable.

    A bit disappointing

    I wanted to relax on my first trip to Amami, so I chose a suite room in a hotel that seemed nice. The hotel's location is excellent, with a beautiful view of the sea from the sofa and a stunning sunrise. However, there are issues with the service. Even in rural hotels, you get a send-off, and in city hotels, they help with luggage. But at check-in, even when I parked the car at the entrance, no one came immediately. They did carry the suitcase when I asked. After checking out, that was it. You have to put your luggage in the car trunk yourself. They don't help with luggage at all. I checked out early at 9 AM and had some time, so I went to the beach. After 10 minutes, my feet got dirty, so I returned to the room to wash them, but was told to use the outside faucet after checking out. It didn't seem like it was cleaning time yet. For a Multiple Night Stay, cleaning seems to be on the third day. (Not sure about sheet changes) The meal started with black rice, which was delicious at first. However, it became quite hard over time, so I left it. It seemed like it might have been frozen. There were grilled shrimp, which were tasty but cold. Disappointing. The only hot dish was the shrimp miso soup. Other dishes didn't feel freshly made and seemed like they were prepared in advance. There were quite a few disappointing aspects. Unfortunately, I didn't feel a sense of hospitality from the staff. There was no feeling of wanting guests to have a good time at their hotel. It felt like a manual. They have lowered the price and are asking guests to do some things themselves. I think it would be better to inform guests of this in advance. I assume the hotel has undergone major renovations and has been made beautiful. I wish for further development.
