    I’d love to stay here again.

    The ocean view from the Room was stunning, and both the in-room open-air bath and the large public bath were just the right size. The entire Accommodation was spotless and beautifully maintained. The sulfur scent made the baths incredibly relaxing. And the meals—both dinner and breakfast—were unbelievably delicious and truly unforgettable! I added a small whole simmered splendid alfonsino, but it was so large I was surprised. I was also deeply impressed that I could enjoy such delicious alfonsino at this price. Although an unexpected personal issue came up during my stay, your quick and courteous support made it a wonderful trip with great memories. Thank you very much. Your hospitality and attentiveness were excellent. I would love to stay again!

    A Hidden Accommodation in Izu

    Each Room is a private cottage with a terrace overlooking the ocean and an open-air bath available 24 hours a day. The water temperature was just right, and it was very relaxing. The meals were served in a traditional Japanese kaiseki style with subtle Japanese-Western touches, and everything was delicious. The staff were also excellent, and I felt everything was perfect. This is one Accommodation I would love to visit again.

    We’re sorry to hear that.

    We stayed here for my wife’s birthday trip, but the meal we had been looking forward to was very disappointing—the ingredients’ natural flavors were not brought out, and the creative approach did not work for us. We would have liked a sofa or chair in the Room; we had no choice but to sit on the bed even to watch TV. There is a private home directly across from the Room’s open-air bath with nothing to block the view, which made us feel uncomfortable. Overall, the facilities do not seem well suited for elderly guests.

    Your First Ryokan Experience

    The day after the heavy snowfall, the expressway was closed, but we somehow made it to the Accommodation. At check-in, we were informed about the hot stone spa, but by then the time had already passed and we only had 30 minutes before dinner. Since our check-in was quite late, it couldn’t be helped. However, I do wonder whether we could have used it if we had said we wanted to. It was our fault for being late, but even if it was included in the Plan, I think it could have been communicated differently. For example, before arriving at the Ryokan we called twice to let you know we would be late—perhaps you could have mentioned it then? Something like: “This is included in your Plan, but since your arrival is delayed you may not be able to use it,” etc. There were stairs up to the Room, so it may be a bit inconvenient for guests_name with mobility issues. When we entered the Room, the heating wasn’t on and it was far too cold. The explanation was also very brief; when I checked the refrigerator the next day, there was something that looked like a bite-sized cake on a lovely red plate… I wasn’t sure if we were allowed to eat it, and since it seemed like something prepared the day before, we didn’t. Maybe because dinner time was approaching? I’m not sure—but since this was our first time at a Ryokan, I wanted a proper explanation. Dinner felt semi-private (?), but we could hear other guests’ voices quite clearly. There were many dishes that you wouldn’t expect from reading just_the menu description. The taste_was quite good as well—maybe slightly strongly seasoned—but they were truly delicious and enjoyable visually too._The staff member in charge of us_was extremely attentive,_and_we_had_a wonderful_time. For breakfast,_the dashi ochazuke_was_the best. The Room itself_was just right_for two people,_but since_we are used_to sitting_on chairs,_the sunken kotatsu seating_was_a bit tough._Also,_the bedroom_on_the right_after entering_had drafts_and_was very cold... There_wa_s_a gap_under_the entrance door._Also,_the inside lock_was stiff_when turning_it,_so please check_it. Due_to frozen pipes,_water ended_up coming_out from_the washbasin_and bathroom shower._Well,this isn’t really_the Ryokan’s fault,but... A lot happened,but_the view_from_our Room_was wonderful—the sea,the sky,and_stars... It really refreshed_us. Next_time,we’d_like_to arrive earlier_and relax_more._Thank_you very much_for all_your consideration.

    Wonderful

    This was a very satisfying Accommodation for my first trip back to Izu in a while. Since I came for the Onsen, I was able to relax and enjoy a quiet stay. The meals were not the usual standard fare; they were wonderfully crafted and elaborate, and overall I felt it was very reasonably priced. Next time, I’d like to stay in a Room with an ocean view and soak in the open-air bath.

    The in-room open-air bath is amazing.

    From the moment we were warmly and politely welcomed by the staff, everyone provided such pleasant service that we were truly glad we chose this Accommodation. The in-room open-air bath with yunohana floating on the water was wonderful, and we were able to relax and ease our fatigue in the massage chair. The meals were also very varied and delicious.

    The Onsen is amazing!

    We stayed for one night as a couple. The open-air bath in the Room was wonderful. The temperature was just right, and we both used it many times. The meals were delicious, but we felt the portions were a bit too large. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    A satisfying accommodation.

    This Accommodation was completely satisfying in every way—Onsen, service, and meals. The semi-open-air bath in the guest room was especially wonderful; we stayed for two nights, and on the day in between we spent almost the entire time soaking in the Onsen. The bedrock sauna included with this Plan was also very relaxing. The meals were extremely delicious, with many dishes and high-quality ingredients—truly excellent—but the portions were so large that we couldn’t finish dinner either night, which was a shame because everything tasted so good. A highly recommended Accommodation.

    We had a great time.

    The scenery, bath, and meals... we had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, with lovely tableware. The timing of the meal service was perfect. It was nice to have options like samue (traditional Japanese loungewear), pajamas, and bathrobes available. Having separate pajamas was especially appreciated as it avoided concerns about food smells lingering on the samue. However, the entrance door lock was a bit difficult to open and close, and one set of pajamas was missing pants, which caught our attention slightly. That said, since only one person used the pajamas, it wasn’t an issue. We experienced relaxation beyond what we expected for the price. Thank you very much for such a delightful stay! We look forward to visiting again in the future.

    It was excellent!

    From the moment the staff picked us up at the station, their warm hospitality assured us that this was undoubtedly a great facility. The accommodation, especially the detached room, was incredibly comfortable. Meals were served in private rooms for both breakfast and dinner, allowing us to enjoy a luxurious and private experience without encountering other guests. Each dish was meticulously prepared with beautiful presentation and exquisite flavors, making every meal—both morning and evening—a delight. We were fortunate to stay during clear skies with a full moon, which allowed us to enjoy the transition from evening to night right from our room. The view of the full moon reflecting on the sea in serene silence felt like something out of a brochure—it truly made me feel we had chosen the perfect place! It was pure luxury at its finest. The onsen bath in our room offered an uninterrupted view of the full moon as well—absolutely flawless! Around an hour before sunrise, we witnessed another breathtaking sight: while it was still dark outside, a deep red hue appeared along the edge of the sea—a stunning view I never expected to experience! It felt like 24 hours of continuous awe-inspiring moments. I would love to visit again someday!

    This became the best accommodation ever!

    Everything was perfect, with a private onsen in the room offering a stunning ocean view. The spacious room features a ReFa hairdryer and access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, making it a hidden gem of an accommodation. There’s also a seated-style stone sauna available. The course meals were delicious, filling, and served in private dining rooms for a relaxing experience. The simmered golden-eye snapper we ordered was absolutely the right choice! Having visited many onsens before, this accommodation and its cuisine were by far the best we've ever experienced. At night, we were moved by the countless stars visible from the open-air bath. It was so amazing that I almost want to keep it secret! The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive—truly perfect service at this accommodation. We will definitely return!

    Dinner was scheduled...

    Dinner was scheduled to start at 17:45 to enjoy a leisurely meal with drinks, but since dinner service must close by 20:00, dishes were brought out one after another regardless of our pace. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to enjoy a relaxed dining experience.

    The food was delicious.

    I stayed with my elderly parents at the accommodation. Both of them have compression fractures and limited mobility, so I consulted in advance about certain arrangements (such as providing chairs), which were kindly accommodated. Thanks to this, we were able to spend our time without any worries. The staff provided very courteous and kind service, reflecting their individual personalities. The meals were all delicious and beautifully presented. The bath offered a great view of the ocean (if I may be a bit picky, fewer plants might enhance the view even more). I would love to stay here again!

    60th Birthday Celebration

    We stayed at the accommodation as a gift from our children. We checked the reviews, and it was exactly as described. The service, room, and meals were impeccable. The private onsen in the room was exceptional. We were given a room with a view of the sunrise, but unfortunately, due to cloudy weather, we couldn't see it.     A Blissful Accommodation to Enjoy Everything

    I stayed in a single-story accommodation. The open-air Onsen with an ocean view was delightful, and the water mixed with mineral deposits had excellent quality, which I enjoyed multiple times. The private dining experience at the management building was wonderful, accommodating allergies and food preferences. The staff were all kind and attentive. However, there were a few concerns: 1) The silhouette of the toilet in the single-story accommodation could be seen from outside. 2) I thought it would be better if the door on the way to Tsukihime no Yu matched the ambiance of the accommodation more elegantly. 3) The path to Tsukihime no Yu was too dark at night. 4) It would have been better if gloves were worn by staff serving meals when they had visible injuries on their hands. 5) It would be safer if both sides of the stairs leading to the management building had handrails. 6) There were sparse areas in front of my room's open-air Onsen where plants could have been fuller for better privacy. I apologize for pointing out so many things, but despite these concerns, I truly felt that this is an accommodation where I’d love to stay repeatedly. I purchased your original Onsen bath salts and continued enjoying them after returning home; it would be convenient if you offered single-use portions as souvenirs for sharing. Thank you for providing such blissful moments during my stay!

    Moon Road

    I finally enjoyed the long-awaited Moon Road. During my previous stay, clouds obstructed the view, but this time I was able to see the perfect Moon Road as planned, and I was extremely satisfied.     Gourmet Accommodation with Ocean View

    Just a 5-minute shuttle service from Futo Station, slightly past Atami. Upon arrival at the accommodation, guests are welcomed with a delicious cheesecake. The room offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Sagami Bay, and the private open-air bath in the room is set to the perfect temperature for relaxation! Dinner features an exquisite seafood-centered menu, including abalone and spiny lobster. The staff were friendly and accommodating, even happily assisting with photo-taking, showcasing excellent hospitality. The only downside was that while enjoying the open-air bath in the room, hedges obstructed most of the ocean view. If there were no hedges and you could see the sea while soaking in the bath, this would be a perfect accommodation!

    It was very comfortable.

    This was our first time using this accommodation for a celebratory trip. Overall, it left a good impression, and I would recommend it. However, there were a few minor concerns. The most notable positive aspect was the staff's excellent attitude. Every staff member made an effort to provide warm hospitality with smiles and thoughtful care throughout our stay. Their exceptional service made our experience truly comfortable, and it was evident that they had received thorough training in customer service. This level of attentiveness is crucial for an enjoyable stay, leaving us with a very favorable impression. On the other hand, perhaps due to the relatively young team of staff members, there were moments where their lack of experience in customer interaction became apparent. Regarding the facilities, the room was more than satisfactory—cleaned thoroughly with well-made beds and spotless glass surfaces such as windows and mirrors. It was clear that attention had been paid to areas prone to noticeable dirt or smudges. There were almost no areas requiring repair or maintenance within the room itself; everything felt well-maintained overall. The room also featured an onsen open-air bath which had been properly cared for as well—a delightful feature that added comfort to our stay. Having stayed at many accommodations offering private onsen baths attached to individual rooms in separate buildings before, I can confidently say this one provided a very comfortable experience overall. However, there were three disappointing points: 1) The hotel's large public bath did not have showers available inside; instead, guests are required to shower in their rooms beforehand and then change clothes before descending 50 outdoor steps to access the public bath area—a challenging request during winter months like December. 2) When we requested wine glasses for use in our room, we were told they could not be provided—an unexpected response considering this is not an inexpensive accommodation class-wise. 3) The menu descriptions for meals lacked clarity entirely—they failed as proper menus should serve their purpose by listing dishes clearly so guests can understand what will be served or avoid ingredients they dislike/allergic reactions might occur otherwise! Instead of providing meaningful information about each dish’s content/ingredients explicitly upfront (as expected), diners are merely encouraged vaguely "to imagine/enjoy guessing based solely upon dish names."

    The service was excellent. The meal was changed from the previous time to a Japanese-style Kaiseki, and it was delicious. I appreciate the attention to detail. I visit Onsen in Izu every month, and I would love to come back again.

    The renovated Room was very clean. The large Room's bath, massage chair, and the view from the Room were very comfortable. The meals were also extremely delicious. The staff were very kind and courteous in their service. I was highly satisfied with these Facilities at this price.

    It was excellent.

    In celebration of 35 years of service, we had a wonderful stay. A young 18-year-old staff member and a young lady kindly guided us to our room and explained each dish in detail, making the meal even more enjoyable. Warm dishes were served on warm plates, and cold dishes on cold plates, allowing us to savor everything at its best. We were deeply touched by the thoughtful gesture of including a small message on our dessert from the staff. Both breakfast and dinner were impeccable, and the room was absolutely perfect. Although I accidentally fell out of bed during the night and damaged a sliding door, the staff handled it with great sincerity despite my apologies—I felt truly sorry for causing trouble. I will definitely be returning!

    The meals are top-notch!

    Stayed for a birthday trip. We were very satisfied with the delicious course meal for two. The room was a maisonette type. On the first floor, there was an onsen, an independent washbasin, a massage chair, and a TV. On the second floor, there was a bedroom, sofa, TV, and terrace. Going back and forth between floors was quite tiring. However, the onsen was excellent. The stone sauna is small, so aim to reserve it during times when no one else is using it. For those who have experienced high-end all-inclusive accommodations, this might feel lacking??

    As the weather has cooled down, we believe the insect issue has subsided.

    Regarding the reviews mentioning "bugs," it is unavoidable due to the nature of the area. For those who find this unacceptable, visiting during colder seasons might be a good option. During our stay, we only encountered a few stink bugs, and none were inside the room. We also did not encounter any while bathing, and enjoying a bath under the star-filled autumn night sky was an incredible experience. The quality of the hot spring water was excellent, leaving our skin smooth upon returning home. The meals were extremely delicious and plentiful for us, featuring both Japanese and Western dishes that we enjoyed until the very end. Considering rising prices these days, we found this accommodation to be very affordable. With shuttle service included as well, it was a perfect trip without any complaints. Thank you very much!

    I used this accommodation for the first time to celebrate a loved one's birthday. True to its name as a hidden accommodation, it was quiet, and the staff's calm and attentive service made for a very meaningful experience. Both the scenery and the room were highly satisfying. The young male and female staff who handled the welcome service and meals had excellent communication skills and professionalism, which left a great impression. Although it's unfair to compare with regular izakayas, I felt that these individuals truly understood what it means to work in such an environment. Since my loved one is undergoing surgery for cancer, I wanted them to enjoy delicious food, and your thoughtful arrangements along with the unexpected birthday song made them very happy.     It was relaxing.

    The stunning views, onsen, and meals were absolutely satisfying! I was initially worried about insects after reading some reviews, but while there were a few, it was within an acceptable range. Spending time gazing at the sea was incredibly relaxing. Although the weather wasn’t ideal, the faint lights of ships at night and the orange sunrise peeking through the clouds in the morning were breathtakingly beautiful. The onsen made my skin smooth and even relieved back pain that had started just before our trip—I was amazed by its sulfuric effects! The meals showed great attention to detail in every dish name and flavor; both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The staff provided excellent service with care, making our stay very pleasant and memorable. Having shuttle service to the station was also extremely convenient.     Relaxation beyond expectations.

    First stay. Picked up at the station, entering an unexpected path with excitement. Ocean view from the accommodation. The anticipation begins—what kind of accommodation is this? Thoughtful staff service. The onsen has a slight sulfur scent. Quiet and peaceful even in the room. Quickly soaked in the bath. Excited for dinner. The menu was hard to understand, but each dish that came out was a surprise! A creative fusion of Japanese, Italian, and French cuisine. Absolutely delicious! Thank you for the meal. This has become an accommodation I’ll use again!

    Only the insects were disappointing...

    The atmosphere of the Room, the private open-air bath, the meals, and the hospitality were nearly perfect. The Room had a great view, was thoroughly cleaned, and was comfortable and pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious with just the right portions to leave us satisfied. My wife was pregnant during our stay, but they kindly adjusted her meals to suit her needs as an expectant mother. The warm words from the staff who assisted us were very comforting, and their hospitality was impeccable. The only disappointment was the insects in the Room. I am not sure if it was just our Room, but at night insects (centipedes) appeared everywhere—on walls, under beds, near sinks, in toilets—and my wife woke up scared when she sensed something moving on a wall after turning on the light to find a centipede there. From 3 AM onwards that night we couldn’t sleep; I kept catching them repeatedly until morning came. Other than this issue which caused significant discomfort during an otherwise excellent stay overall—I sincerely hope this problem will be addressed promptly!
