Thank you for your hospitality and your thoughtful care as always.
A true professional in every way. So relaxing. Thank you, as always, for your thoughtful care beyond what I expected. Outstanding as ever. Thank you again for everything this time.

The best heartfelt service!
All staff across every department (front desk, porters, room service, spa, personal trainers, and management) work as one team and provide heartfelt hospitality with outstanding teamwork to ensure guests are truly satisfied. I was deeply impressed by your philosophy and the training you provide to your staff. Thank you sincerely for your warm and attentive service. Thanks to you, I had a truly wonderful stay. I would love to stay with you again next year when I return to Japan.

I love this Hotel, but the breakfast had changed.
This is my favorite Hotel in terms of the ambiance and service. Recently I have been staying with No Meals Included, but this time I stayed with breakfast for the first time in a while, and I was a little disappointed to find that breakfast had been simplified compared to before. Previously there were several yogurt options to choose from and they were brought out one by one, but this time there was no salad and it had changed to something closer to a single-plate style. The Eggs Benedict was as delicious as ever, but since I miss the previous breakfast, I gave it 4 stars.

A delightfully unexpected yet perfectly fitting touch of hospitality
While I usually enjoy staycations mainly at ethnically inspired luxury Hotels, this time my stay felt like a fateful encounter—like unexpectedly running into someone I once had a nostalgic crush on. Thank you for all your thoughtful care. As it was my first stay, I can’t speak as if I know everything, but for anyone who has been curious to try it yet somehow hasn’t taken the step, I would absolutely recommend it. I had imagined—without any real reason—that the service would be in a “gentle” style, but it wasn’t quite that. Instead, they naturally step into the most comfortable part of your personal space, yet never cross the line or make you feel they have. This is what true hospitality must be. Not every staff member was perfect—there were moments such as no explanation of membership benefits or no attention to refilling drinks—but even so, the overall excellence more than makes up for those small questions. That comprehensive strength may be its greatest appeal. This stay made my resolve even stronger: someday I will stay at The Peninsula Hong Kong. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you very much.

Welcome back. It was an amazing stay.
1) Every space in the Hotel feels timeless—calm and never boring, no matter how many times you visit. 2) From the Facility and amenities to every in-room item, you can sense both luxury and refined quality. 3) The staff service is outstanding, with a perfect balance of friendliness and politeness. - A veteran bellman who has been at the entrance since opening. - Staff who hand out coffee to guests in the lobby in the morning. - Housekeeping staff. Everyone looks proud of their work, and it’s uplifting just to see. One thing I noticed was dining at Peter. I would be happy if there were a wider variety of à la carte options. The restaurant has been reborn as modern French cuisine and the food is excellent, but I also wished there were a few elements reminiscent of its former steakhouse style—especially since I was dining alone this time. When I stayed during COVID, it couldn’t be helped, but I did feel a slightly subdued atmosphere. This time, though, it felt fully back to normal. I hope it will always remain a special Hotel for me. This was a solo stay, but it left me truly refreshed. Next time I’ll come with my wife and our two daughters. Thank you very much.

We had a very comfortable stay.
Thank you always for your kind support. Also, thank you very much for upgrading our Room on this occasion. As always, I find the closet and the bathroom facilities, including the sink area, very easy to use. Perhaps because we could view the Imperial Palace from the Room, it felt as though we received even better fortune than usual. We stay at this Hotel at important milestones with the aim of receiving good fortune. Perhaps due to current circumstances, it feels like the room service menu prices have increased. Also, while the XO sauce from Hei Fung Terrace is quite expensive, it is perfect as a souvenir and I make good use of it when cooking at home. Using this sauce makes home-cooked meals feel like restaurant-quality dishes, and we enjoy them very much. As this sauce could become a “hidden gem” souvenir known only to those in the know, I would be grateful if it could be purchased at The Peninsula Boutique in the basement. Our goal during our Hotel stay is to do nothing and simply relax; however, thanks to the excellent location, we are tempted to go out shopping... Even so, we were able to spend a relaxing time. Thank you very much.

Compared with other Hotels in the same price range, the gap in service quality was significant.
I visited with high expectations for the Peninsula brand, but even compared with other luxury hotels in the same price range, the gap in service standards was significant, making this a very disappointing stay. ■There were no staff at the check-in counter, and we were left waiting. ■Even though my wife was carrying an infant in a baby carrier and holding luggage, no one offered to help with our bags. ■When we returned from going out, a male front desk staff member did not greet us at all. ■The bread served at breakfast was completely cold. The consideration and basic hospitality expected of a prestigious Hotel were lacking, and I will never use it again.

This is my favorite Hotel.
This time I stayed for three nights. I like this Hotel because it’s conveniently located right by Yurakucho Station, and the Room layout is very practical and comfortable. I was able to relax again this time. When I flop onto the bed, it feels so good that I fall asleep right away. Over the past few years, most guests seem to be foreign tourists, so it really has an international vibe. I can’t get enough of this unique atmosphere. However, many of the staff are also foreigners, and at check-in they asked, “Would you like a newspaper?” I replied, “The Nikkei, please,” and they said they would put it in my valet box—but no newspaper ever arrived before checkout (lol).

We’re sorry to hear you were disappointed.
At the front desk, we were told we would be shown to a larger Room, but there were not enough amenities, and there were children’s amenities we did not need. It was disappointing because it was clearly a Room intended for someone else. We received the champagne included in the Plan, but there were many mistakes, which surprised us. We had been looking forward to our stay, so it was very disappointing.

It was the best wedding anniversary.
We stayed for the first time at a special discounted rate to celebrate the IKYU email newsletter launch, and as it was also our wedding anniversary, it became a truly memorable and wonderful stay. Champagne was prepared in our Room, and we also received a warm message on a card. Most of the Hotel guests seemed to be from overseas, which made us feel as if we were in Hong Kong or another country, yet the staff’s service and hospitality were outstandingly Japanese and among the best we have experienced—even compared with other luxury Hotels in Japan. We would love to return on another special occasion.

I love it!
I stayed for one night. I really liked the calm atmosphere of the Room. Each space felt open and I was able to relax comfortably. The attention to detail in the Room and the staff’s hospitality were excellent. Since I only had breakfast, I deducted one star. Thank you very much for taking such good care of me. I would definitely like to stay again.

The Peninsula is the best.
Everything is outstanding in every way. The staff are warm, courteous, and welcoming, the Room is spacious and very comfortable, and the room-service breakfast is delicious—I’m completely satisfied. It makes me want to stay again right away. The pool also offers wonderful views and is a relaxing space. I truly love The Peninsula.

Excellent doormen, attentive room attendants, and outstanding tempura.
I was so impressed by the excellence of the doormen (especially Mr. Um) that I made Reservations for three consecutive months, but... it seems the head doorman is not a Hotel staff member and may be dispatched personnel. It left me feeling that I perhaps didn’t need to stay after all. Ms. K at check-in showed little sense of hospitality... and unfortunately, Ms. K also handled my check-out. With a front desk like this, an 18% Service Fee is exhausting. Peter Bar: On entry, the receptionist was on the phone and kept me waiting for a while. On leaving, two female staff at reception were chatting, with virtually no farewell to guests. An 18% Service Fee for this is unacceptable. Having eight bath towels in the Room is wonderful. The Room temperature control is difficult (hard to understand). It’s good that there is a scale (unlike last time, this one seemed accurate). The level of turndown service and shoe shining is excellent. (I think the shoe shine is No. 1 among international luxury hotels.) The female staff at The Peninsula Boutique on B1 were polite and pleasant. Tenichi: Both the fryer and the servers were outstanding. I believe it’s Japan’s best tempura restaurant. The female bell staff who came to collect my luggage was pleasant.

A Wonderful Stay at The Peninsula
Since I was young, my family and I spent most of our stays in Hong Kong for work at The Peninsula, and now that I’m older, we spend most of our time in Tokyo at The Peninsula Tokyo—my favorite city. From time to time we stay at other Hotels as well, but the direct access to the Hibiya Line and other routes is incredibly convenient, allowing us to reach our favorite places comfortably and quickly. The Facility and the staff’s service are simply outstanding. The Room layout—especially the placement of the bath, closet, and bed—is more comfortable than at other Hotels. Each time we visit, it feels like home: a place where we can truly relax and unwind. One small disappointment is that in the past we were offered Room upgrades and extra services, but since travel resumed after COVID—perhaps due to increased inbound tourism—it feels like those have become less common with so many international guests. Also, amenities such as creams being provided in refillable pump dispensers (like an Onsen) feels a little disappointing for a luxury Hotel. That said, there is no doubt that The Peninsula is an excellent Hotel, and it remains our No. 1 choice for future stays.

A welcoming accommodation where you can always feel at home
I have been staying here during peak seasons for about the past seven years, and I always feel at ease thanks to the attentive, warm service. Every time I pass through the front desk, it feels like coming home. Especially this time, as I wasn’t feeling well and had dietary restrictions, I can’t thank you enough for providing the best possible service. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to stay again.

This is my first stay in three years.
I stayed at The Peninsula again for the first time in three years. We chose to stay at The Peninsula to celebrate my companion’s birthday and enjoy a meal in Ginza. Thank you for the birthday sweets waiting in our Room upon arrival—they were delicious. Compared with three years ago, however, the amenities had changed from individually labeled items to single bottles for everything, such as body soap. We ordered breakfast via room service. The Room accommodates up to three guests and we ordered breakfast for three, but the table was too small to set everything out. We were told it would be left on the trolley, so we ended up moving chairs from elsewhere in the Room and arranging everything ourselves. Recently, when I stayed at another Hotel (I could name it, but I won’t), their room service staff anticipated that the table would be small and said they would bring an additional table, then set it up so all three of us could sit and eat comfortably. They even carried chairs over from other parts of the Room (even though they were heavy) and prepared everything properly—almost to the point where we felt bad asking. Compared with that experience, there was a huge difference here. I expected staff would understand the Room layout and set things up so we could enjoy breakfast properly, so this was disappointing. It didn’t feel like a calm, relaxing Hotel breakfast—we ate at a messy table (laugh). Still, this time our main purpose was using The Peninsula pool, and the pool was great.

I made a Reservation to enjoy a relaxing Golden Week Hotel stay. Thank you for accommodating my request for late check-out as a Diamond member benefit, even during this busy period. Since we stayed on Children’s Day, we were delighted to receive origami and other small gifts. We also used the pool, and it was excellent. We could use designated deck chairs, and water was provided as well. Perhaps by chance, there were few other guests, so we were able to fully enjoy the spacious pool. I’ve used several Hotel pools before, but this one was the most comfortable. The Room was spacious and relaxing, and everyone at the front desk and in room service was kind and helpful. I’m truly glad we chose to stay here. It was only one night, but I felt completely refreshed. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a family.
The view from the Deluxe Suite King was spectacular, and just like last time, I felt this is the only Room I’d choose when staying here. The valet parking service was quick and courteous, and I was very satisfied. I also arrived a little early, but you smoothly accommodated an early check-in in such a natural way that I almost felt apologetic. Since I had planned to go shopping until check-in time, this was extremely helpful. Thank you very much.\nAfter shopping, I relaxed in the Room and enjoyed a leisurely stay. The room service was delicious, and dining while looking out at the view was exceptional. I would love to visit again.

The Hotel itself is lovely.
I had always wanted to stay at The Peninsula, but compared with other top luxury hotels, there were a few aspects that felt slightly lacking, so I’m not sure about returning. As someone who looks forward to the view, I was a bit disappointed by the low-floor outlook where it felt like you might make eye contact with people in the neighboring building. The Room was spacious and luxurious, with details like a solid single-panel door, and the bathroom and closet had a classic yet lavish design straight out of a movie. Many hotels place a sofa or daybed by the window, but here the wide windows extend from the bed area all the way to the table, which was nice. Next time, I hope I can stay in a Room with a better view. The front desk staff and doormen were kind, but I felt disappointed because the female staff member who delivered my much-anticipated Hei Fung Terrace room service was surprisingly discourteous. When I visited the restaurant on another day, a male staff member who seemed like a manager repeatedly rushed us to order, which was far from an elegant dim sum experience (the food is outstanding). The in-Room amenities also had a scent and texture that didn’t suit me. It inevitably falls short when compared with others in its class, but it is still undoubtedly a wonderful Hotel, so I would consider staying again if I have another opportunity.

It was a wonderful Hotel.
The Accommodation Fee was for a slightly more affordable Room, but the bathroom was separate from the shower room and toilet, which made it very convenient to use. There was also a wide variety of amenities, and during turndown service the used amenities were replenished; coffee, water, and even new cups to replace the ones we had used were provided as well. The walk-in closet was very spacious, and we were more than satisfied with having plenty of space for two suitcases. We used room service for breakfast, but the bread wasn’t very good. All of the staff provided excellent service. Thank you for taking care of us.

Sophisticated Luxury Hotel
I stayed at The Peninsula Tokyo in Ginza, a hotel I had always dreamed of visiting. Nestled in the dazzling cityscape, it was a long-awaited and memorable stay. While the room facilities are not the most modern, the overall design is incredibly luxurious. Each piece of furniture is refined and particularly impressive. The sofa, with its perfect balance of softness and support, offered exceptional comfort throughout my stay. The lobby is lively with many restaurant guests, but once you ascend to the guestroom floors, it becomes remarkably quiet. In the atrium stands "The Void," a contemporary art installation that spans from the 8th to 23rd floor—a towering 70 meters high. Featuring 24 stainless steel cones weighing 80kg each that appear to float gracefully while reflecting light, this masterpiece is truly breathtaking. Depending on your viewing angle, its impression changes, adding an interpretive element that enhances the hotel's extraordinary atmosphere. A delightful surprise during check-in was receiving a bottle of champagne as a gift. Additionally, I appreciated how spacious and user-friendly the vanity area was. After checking out and heading toward the subway station for my return trip home, one of the staff kindly asked where I was headed and guided me carefully to an easy-to-navigate location nearby. Their warm hospitality until my very last moment made for an exceptionally pleasant experience overall.

A Wonderful Hotel in Front of Hibiya Park and the Outer Gardens of the Imperial Palace
A hotel conveniently located just one station from Tokyo Station, near Yurakucho Station, and also within walking distance from Tokyo Station for a leisurely stroll. Only a 2-3 minute walk to Ginza, offering an excellent location. As the entire building is dedicated to the hotel, there’s no need for complicated elevator transfers like in office-complex hotels—no hassle at all. Rooms on the Hibiya Park and Imperial Palace Outer Garden side offer stunning views of lush greenery. The rooms are exceptional, featuring spacious closets, warm lighting with one-touch control, a bathroom where you can play Chinese-style healing music, and contactless charging spaces. Even compared to modern accommodations today, it provides ample comfort with a luxurious atmosphere unique to its time of construction. Breakfast was served at the rooftop restaurant; I opted for Japanese cuisine which was delicious and outstanding in every way. If your budget allows for accommodation in the Ginza area, this hotel comes highly recommended as a top choice!

Japanese staff are excellent.
The pre-arrival phone service was very kind and excellent, and all the Japanese staff who assisted during the stay were wonderful. As it was a stay for our wedding anniversary, there were many thoughtful touches in the room, which we greatly appreciated. The facility includes various wonderful restaurants. Although not operated by The Peninsula, dining at Mon Cher Tonton was exceptional in both content and service. However, the check-in and check-out process was disappointing. The bell staff did not notice when luggage was unloaded from the car at arrival. Upon departure, they left guests behind to take the elevator down first. Despite notifying reception by phone that we were checking out, none of the three front desk staff monitored the guest elevator. When approaching a foreign staff member nearby for assistance, they responded curtly with something like "Japanese over there," without proper courtesy or language skills. This left us quite speechless. Even after checkout, we had to wait several minutes in front of an automatic door before being attended to. While understanding that structural limitations make it difficult to keep taxis waiting at valet parking due to its narrow space, such poor handling during checkout felt unacceptably unpleasant compared to hotels of similar standards. The facility itself is beautifully designed with a level of grandeur rarely seen in modern hotels today—making this all the more unfortunate.

The Room and location are excellent.
A luxurious stay after a long time. The room is undoubtedly one of the most glamorous among Tokyo accommodations, and I personally appreciated the spacious bathroom and closet areas. The location is convenient, with easy access to Ginza for a casual outing, as well as JR and Metro lines. The in-room dining menu was extensive, and I enjoyed meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff who came to the room were generally pleasant but at an average level. However, what stood out negatively was the lack of friendliness from staff around the entrance area and front desk—key representatives of any hotel. At this level of accommodation, entrance staff usually greet guests cheerfully, but here they rarely greeted me or showed much kindness. In particular, during checkout with a female front desk staff member handling my credit card payment process without a smile or apology for delays while appearing visibly frustrated with the payment terminal—it left me feeling uneasy. Overall impression: perhaps it reflects typical straightforward service often associated within international hotels?

Used multiple times, still excellent.
The hospitality at the Hotel is exceptional, and while opinions may vary, I personally feel that The Peninsula stands out the most. Being greeted with a warm "Welcome back" upon arrival by car always makes me happy. The ability to make requests or chat via messaging is incredibly convenient, especially since I find phone calls burdensome—this feature is one of my favorites. Above all, the layout and spaciousness of the Room are very comfortable. With a dressing room, bathroom, bathtub, living area, and bed—it’s truly relaxing. The bathroom's design featuring stone and natural motifs is stunning; the water flow and the scent of amenities are also top-notch. Since I dislike televisions and don’t have one in my home living room, I appreciate how here it’s hidden behind wooden doors—making it invisible at first glance is fantastic. The tea set provided is delightful as well, and the table setup is practical. Breakfast here is excellent too. They are always willing to accommodate requests or changes if needed—it truly feels like a place where you can unwind completely. This Hotel has become my favorite retreat for relaxation. Even when traveling far isn’t an option but you want to indulge in luxury or enjoy a special moment of relaxation close by—staying here feels like treating myself to something special. It’s quiet yet luxurious—a wonderful place to stay. Even when visiting alone for tea or dinner occasionally—I end up having such pleasant moments here! Seeing many foreign guests enjoying their leisurely time adds an extra touch of travel-like excitement that makes it even more enjoyable!

Lack of attention to detail for guests.
The purpose of this stay was to purchase dorayaki from Usagiya. Despite informing both the hotel concierge and staff about this, the front desk staff at checkout were unaware and could not provide information on the location of the reserved store. The taxi took me to the wrong place, resulting in high taxi fares from the hotel to Usagiya and Tokyo Station, including waiting charges in front of Usagiya. Even though you made a reservation for me, I had to wander around searching for Usagiya's store. There was no attentive service provided to guests at all. Additionally, during check-in, I specifically requested no turndown service or cleaning during my stay. However, when I returned from Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi on the following day, someone had entered my room without permission. My personal belongings were arranged on top of towels—some items being private and sensitive that I did not want others to see. I arrange my personal items in a way that is convenient for me when staying at accommodations; having them touched or organized without consent is unacceptable. Especially with COVID-19 cases still increasing, other luxury hotels I've stayed at have shown much more attention to detail—for example, The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto where I stayed in July provided truly soothing hospitality without entering rooms uninvited. This hotel failed both with regards to handling matters related to Usagiya as well as housekeeping services—it completely disregarded guest feelings. I will never stay here again. Choosing this accommodation for my rare visit back to Tokyo was a mistake; it was an awful experience overall.
