    It was a 60th Anniversary Plan.

    The Room floors creaked with every step, making it hard to relax. Turning over in bed caused creaking noises, disrupting sleep. The bedding had an unpleasant smell, making it difficult to rest. The breakfast venue was a large hall with an uncomfortable atmosphere. It was disappointing.

    It was excellent for this price.

    The large 12-tatami room with a town-side view was excellent. The room featured a painting of Gifu Castle on the sliding doors and a cormorant fishing design on the entrance light. While the room was great, we had trouble with the entrance key as it wouldn't come out easily. Dinner was served in private partitions, and there was a menu provided. The food was delicious. Breakfast was buffet-style with many specialties from Gifu Prefecture. The live kitchen offered tempura of young sweetfish, which came with salt, but having dipping sauce would have been nice. The public bath had golden onsen water only in the open-air bath, which had small tubs. It would be great if you could unify the lukewarm and hot transparent onsen baths indoors and use any extra tubs for additional water flow from the source. We will visit again! Next time, we’d like to try French or Chinese cuisine as well. Thank you for accommodating our request to change the dinner reservation time after we made an error in booking it initially!

    It's a hidden gem.

    The facility is old, but the onsen and breakfast are nice.

    Please note when making a reservation for children under 3 years old.

    For the breakfast-only plan, please note that if you have a child under 3 years old who will be having a meal, you must select "No Meal" at the time of reservation, otherwise breakfast will not be free. I was unsure which option to choose, so I noted in the comments that my child was under 3 years old, but it didn't work. I found it difficult to understand rules that were not clearly stated, and I didn't feel much sincerity in the communication, so I lowered my rating. However, aside from that point, I was able to enjoy my stay.

    I reserved a Premium...

    I reserved a Premium Twin with a river view. The room was comfortable and the amenities were plentiful. Except for the outdoor bath being a bit too hot, the food was delicious, and I felt like staying again.

    Impressed by the thoughtfulness of the head chef and staff!

    I have used this property several times for events hosted by the company and the prefecture, but this was my first time staying personally. This is a long-established hotel in Gifu, and while the facility is quite old, the staff service is top-notch. Since a member of my family has a severe food allergy, it has been customary to bring "okazu" from home when staying at a hotel. This time, I brought "okazu" just in case, but the hotel kindly prepared an "allergy-friendly menu" for us. Thanks to this, we were able to enjoy most of the dishes, except for a few (and the seasoning was also wonderful!). This is the first hotel that has prepared such a well-organized "allergy-friendly menu" for us. I would like to express my gratitude to the chef and all the staff.

    There was no initial...

    There was no initial greeting or send-off, but it was good for those who prefer to be left alone. The meals, except for the first appetizer, were very delicious. Especially the grilled fish, which was delicious and could be eaten entirely except for the head and bones. It was nice to try the ReFa dryer and hair iron in the Room, as I had never used them before. Overall, it was a good Hotel.

    Breakfast Buffet

    A wide variety of delicious local dishes from Gifu Prefecture were offered, and the venue was spacious, making for a very satisfying experience.

    Family Trip

    Dinner was pleasant with a calm atmosphere. The Onsen's open-air bath was lukewarm. Breakfast was excellent when I stayed before, but this time, although I reserved for 7 AM, it was crowded, and even with the buffet style, there was a line, making it inefficient and disappointing.
