Ashinomaki Onsen Okawaso: The staff are very courteous, but there are some issues with the guest rooms.

My trip began at Ashinomaki Onsen Station. The Shuttle Service driver to the Hotel was very courteous. After arriving at the Hotel, the front desk staff were professional and polite, and they never showed any frustration even though I do not understand Japanese. When I asked the front desk about the business hours for Kinugawa Onsen rafting, a staff member checked for me and informed me that it was closed during that period, so phone Reservations were not available. I would like to express my sincere thanks here. The Room was acceptable overall. The window-side air cooler looked older than I am and had dust buildup, but somehow it worked normally. The facilities feel generally dated. At night, while using my phone in bed, six small insects came in within five minutes. They did not bite and seemed harmless, but this did reduce comfort during my stay. As for meals, I did not make a Reservation for dinner, but breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was very delicious. I strongly recommend making a Reservation for breakfast. The bed comfort was also decent. At checkout the next day, I took the Shuttle Service bus that I had Reserved at the front desk the day before, and it arrived on time. The staff in charge of Shuttle Service at the Hotel entrance were also kind. Thank you to the female staff member with glasses who took a commemorative photo for us.
