    The staff service was extremely poor.

    This is my first time writing a Review. We stayed at this Accommodation for my husband’s birthday trip. To be honest, I didn’t feel it was worth over 100,000 yen per night. We are a couple who enjoy visiting various Ryokan and Hotels, but this was the first time we felt it was only average to below average. The reasons are: - First of all, the Ryokan itself is small and old. The public bath is also small, and it didn’t feel special. - We could hear footsteps constantly, day and night. - It seemed there was no dedicated attendant; each time we were helped by someone different. (There was no casual conversation at all during our stay. There was a fairly strong earthquake in the middle of the night, but it wasn’t mentioned at all the next day. It felt very businesslike, which made me sad.) - At dinner, when we ordered beer, a young female staff member poured the first glass for us, but she poured it so quickly that about 90% became foam. She then walked away as-is, so we looked at each other and waited until some of it settled before pouring again ourselves. More than anything, there is one main reason I decided to write a Review for the first time: - At checkout, guests were crowded around what felt like a register area. A male staff member handled our payment, and after it was finished, he asked if he could have a moment of our time. He then explained a campaign: if we posted a Review, they would give us one bottle of wine or juice as a gift. I hesitated, but since I never write Reviews, I apologized and declined. Suddenly his attitude became cold: “Oh, I see. Thank you,” said without making eye contact—and there was no send-off to our car either. As we drove away feeling upset, a woman who was seeing off other guests waved to us, which helped just a little, but overall everything about this Ryokan felt underwhelming. The Reviews were very positive so we visited with confidence, but now I feel that this may be how they get people to write good Reviews. They advertise themselves as a “welcome baby Hotel,” so perhaps it may be good only for travelers with babies. Also, most of the staff were foreigners. Everyone spoke Japanese very well and worked hard—I respect that— but honestly, arriving at a Ryokan and seeing only foreign staff made me think twice.

    Everything was so outstanding that five stars aren’t enough.

    This Accommodation was truly wonderful in every way. The Room, the meals, the Onsen, the atmosphere throughout the property, and above all the thoughtful hospitality of the staff—everything exceeded our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and felt comfortable throughout our stay. The meals were carefully prepared and delicious dish by dish, and the Onsen was deeply relaxing—an indulgent time that let us forget everyday life. This is a Ryokan that genuinely makes you think, “I will definitely come back.” I would highly recommend this Accommodation for a trip with someone special or for a memorable occasion. Thank you very much for such a wonderful time.

    The best

    It seems like a property undergoing renovation, so there were some parts where the age showed, but the room, meals, and service were excellent, making such concerns irrelevant. A property that attends to every detail. Ice cream and beverage service are available right outside the bath. Coffee is available in the lobby. These small touches, like being able to take some on the way home, are delightful. The meals are plentiful, visually beautiful, and the conversation with the person in charge was enjoyable. Breakfast was elegantly enjoyed while viewing the garden. It was a property that makes you want to visit again.
