    I was very satisfied.

    Thank you for accommodating our requests regarding the Room and meals. The Room had a spacious balcony with an amazing view, which was very relaxing. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The large public bath was clean, offered great views, and was very soothing. The staff greeted us warmly, making our stay very pleasant. This Hotel is highly recommended not only for golf enthusiasts but also for tourists. I would love to stay here again. Thank you!

    I had a relaxing time.

    I chose this accommodation for its panoramic windows. I dined at the restaurant around sunset, and the spacious seating arrangement made it feel very open and lovely. Since I wasn't too hungry, I opted for a meat-only course, which was just right. The chilled corn soup was absolutely delicious! Breakfast was lively with an impressive variety of ingredients to choose from, all of which were tasty. The freshly baked stone oven pizza was delightful! The smoothies were excellent too! The room had coffee beans available for grinding and brewing yourself, making for a fresh and flavorful experience. To reach the large public bath, you take a monorail that fits about four people—it felt like an attraction and was quite fun (though slightly inconvenient as you have to step outside briefly in winter). The onsen had a pleasantly smooth texture that felt great on the skin. However, the transparent panel in front of the open-air bath was fogged up, which was a bit disappointing. There wasn’t a cold water bath in the sauna area for women either. That said, towels were readily available along with amenities and drinking water, making it very comfortable to use overall. The entire space felt relaxed and spacious; I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. After much deliberation over accommodations in Karuizawa, I'm glad I chose this Prince Hotel!

    It was an exceptional and relaxing getaway.

    We had the pleasure of staying here for our babymoon. We visit Karuizawa almost every year and have stayed at various hotels, but this one truly stands out for its exceptional hospitality. The room was equipped with coffee, and enjoying freshly brewed coffee in such a perfect location was an unforgettable experience. Access to the onsen building is via monorail, but the distance is manageable and you can enjoy the scenery along the way, making it a quick trip. The view of Mount Asama from the open-air bath was stunning, and the onsen building itself was impeccably clean, which made it even more enjoyable. One disappointment was dinner; we had reserved a steak dinner for the evening. Since I am pregnant, I requested my steak to be well-done; however, it turned out too tough to eat comfortably. Additionally, service was slow overall and portions were small—I felt that opting only for breakfast would have been better in hindsight. On a positive note, breakfast exceeded expectations! The chef-prepared omelets were delicious and everything offered at the buffet was of high quality—truly satisfying! Aside from dinner, everything else about our stay was wonderful. We would love to return again in the future! Thank you very much!

    The Anniversary Stay Plan is amazing!

    We visited to celebrate my husband's birthday and my 60th year. The restaurant was amazing. We enjoyed a full bottle of champagne and delicious dishes like lobster and Shinshu premium beef while admiring the magnificent view of Mount Asama, which was truly satisfying. Additionally, the bouquet included in the Plan was luxurious and tailored to our taste, which made us very happy. We had a wonderful time filled with unforgettable memories. Thank you so much. The Room had a balcony with a direct view of Mount Asama, providing a relaxing atmosphere. While the cleaning seemed thorough, I experienced slight allergy symptoms. My husband was fine, so it might vary by individual; however, it would be great if there were Rooms with measures for bedding or flooring to accommodate such sensitivities.

    Great view

    I used the shuttle bus from Karuizawa Station. The driving and guidance were courteous both ways. The check-in process felt a bit impersonal. The luggage I had sent in advance was left in the cloakroom until I asked about it. In the room, there was a welcome card and a cute origami piece, which made me feel warm inside. The cleaning was done meticulously, and the view from the room was stunning—this view is why I chose this Hotel. In the early morning, I enjoyed coffee on the balcony while admiring Mount Asama—it was truly delightful. It was disappointing that there were no basic skincare products in the room (though they are available at the Onsen). To reach the bath, you can take a monorail ride of about one minute while enjoying views of Mount Asama as you ascend or climb up adjacent stairs to experience fresh mountain air firsthand. The Onsen offers a luxurious experience with views of Mount Asama. There is a free drink service for Vacation Club members in the lounge after bathing; however, it would be nice if non-members could also purchase drinks there. For dinner, I felt there was insufficient explanation of menu items. When asking about vegetables accompanying main dishes or sauces for mains, responses were vague or incorrect—the sauce served differed from what had been explained when ordering! However, dessert was very delicious. At breakfast time too—while tomatoes and salmon stood out as particularly tasty—I noticed staff lacked smiles during both dinner and breakfast services. On another note: cleaning staff who seemed to be trainees from other countries had wonderful smiles!

    Golf Trip

    I stayed for 3 nights. Unfortunately, due to heavy fog, we had to cut our golf game short to just half a round, but the Onsen and meals were absolutely satisfying, allowing us to relax quietly and comfortably. However, I was very disappointed when the male staff returned my credit card with one hand during checkout. Please use both hands when handing items to guests!

    It was excellent!

    This was my first stay. The view of Mount Asama from the Room, the bath, and the restaurant was absolutely stunning. The meals were delicious, enjoyed in a spacious and relaxing atmosphere. It was unfortunate that I couldn't visit the observatory for a walk—I should have researched more beforehand! I will definitely visit again.

    Beautiful view from the Room

    Although Mount Asama was hidden by clouds, the chirping of birds was pleasant, and I enjoyed a relaxing time with delicious coffee in a room with a great view. The Onsen had excellent water quality. Since it was during the hot season, the coolness made it perfect! Next time, I would love to come with my grandchildren.

    Exceptional Hospitality

    The staff's hospitality was excellent, making my stay very pleasant. As expected from Prince Hotels, the service was outstanding. The frequent shuttle buses to Karuizawa Station made access convenient and comfortable. If I may suggest, it would be great to have a bit more variety in the breakfast options.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed for two nights to relax. The view of Mount Asama from the room, the sounds of cicadas and birds, the vibrant greenery and its refreshing scent—everything was perfect. There were no sounds of cars or trains, allowing me to truly refresh myself. The cleaning staff greeted us politely one by one, which made me feel impressed with how well-trained they were. Perhaps it was just my bad luck, but I was surprised to encounter a group of about 10 external visitors in the spa area after coming out of the Onsen. Whether it was for training or a facility tour, it felt awkward as I was completely in relaxation mode while they seemed to be working. It would be appreciated if such tours could be scheduled before check-in time for better consideration. That said, both the location and service at this Hotel were highly satisfying. It's unfortunate that it's not a place I can visit frequently due to distance, but I hope to find another opportunity to stay again!

    Ueda to Karuizawa Trip

    Shuttle service is available from Karuizawa Station, which is very convenient. The view of Mount Asama is stunning. The room has a balcony where you can relax. There is also a bathhouse to help relieve your fatigue. Both dinner and breakfast are delicious. This is a quiet hotel for adults.

    I had a relaxing time.

    I stayed for one night and was very satisfied with the Onsen and meals. The Onsen had a dedicated building, and the open-air bath was excellent. Dinner was visually appealing and delicious in taste. The breakfast buffet offered both Japanese and Western dishes, and I ate more than usual. The smoothies were delicious as well. All the staff were kind and provided excellent service. Since I came by Shinkansen, having a concierge to store my luggage on arrival day and after checkout was very helpful. Unfortunately, it rained, so I couldn't see Mount Asama this time, but I would love to stay again!

    Dinner reservations ...

    Dinner reservations were not honored, resulting in a wait for a table. Drinks took a long time to arrive, and even water was not served promptly. When the salad was brought out, mentioning that no drinks had arrived led to the salad being taken away for some reason. The food itself was delicious but portions were small and limited in variety. Overall, it was quite disappointing.

    Second Visit

    This is my second visit. Last time, I chose the meal course. I remember it being a lot, so this time I went with à la carte. The well-maintained garden is incredibly beautiful. A robotic lawn mower was moving around. The Onsen here is excellent; I bathed twice. The Hotel staff are very pleasant and make the stay comfortable. There are many foreign guests, but they greet you warmly when passing by. It's wonderful to see them working hard in Japan, far from their home countries. This Hotel is popular among golf enthusiasts. Highly recommended for those who love golf!

    Last-minute Reservation

    I made a last-minute Reservation the day before during Golden Week. The Hotel is located in the nature of Karuizawa, offering a very quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The staff provided excellent service and kindly guided me to my Room. The Room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with beautiful natural views and soothing bird songs from the window. The large public bath was also clean, spacious, and very pleasant. I would love to visit this Hotel again!

    First Stay

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation. The original plan I reserved did not include meals, so I decided on the spot on the day. For dinner, there was a limited-time bar menu, and I was satisfied as I could enjoy small portions of my favorite dishes. As expected from a hotel, the ingredients were excellent. For breakfast, I opted for the buffet. There were plenty of dishes to choose from—so many that it was impossible to try everything—but there were lots of local ingredients, and the vegetables in particular were fresh and delicious. I ground my own beans for the welcome coffee and enjoyed its rich flavor thoroughly. The shop was convenient as it operated from morning until 11:00 PM.

    Enjoy freshly ground Mikado Coffee from the room's coffee mill on the terrace while admiring the snow-capped Mount Asama—truly a wonderful experience. The Onsen is spacious, clean, and perfect for relaxing and warming up, leaving us completely satisfied. The à la carte dinner dishes were surprisingly large in portion size. Breakfast at the same restaurant offered a wide variety of thoughtfully prepared options that we thoroughly enjoyed (though the desserts were slightly disappointing). Since this visit was during the off-season, we look forward to returning during the lush green season next time.

    The spacious suite with a jacuzzi offers great views and is excellent. The Onsen in the large public bath has smooth, pleasant water and is wonderful. The restaurant is spacious, featuring a pizza oven, and the course meals were delicious. While the staff's service was good, when I requested ice through room service, I was told to purchase it at the shop on the first floor. Despite paying 60,000 yen per person per night, there was no club floor service available. In the large public bath area, beer and other drinks were provided but only accessible to members, which felt unfair. I had high expectations for a luxury hotel brand but was disappointed. Although the room itself is excellent, I believe there needs to be consideration regarding balance and settings in services offered. At The Prince Karuizawa Hotel, while rooms are small, there was a sense of exclusivity that could be experienced. Looking forward to improvements in the future!

    It was quite a great stay.

    - About the Hotel The excellent service, beautiful room, and Onsen were great. The view of Mt. Asama from the room was also fantastic. - About the Restaurant The food was delicious. The dinner course takes two and a half hours. Please be careful if you have plans afterward. The chairs were a bit hard, which was slightly uncomfortable. Breakfast was also delicious, but it seemed like there were some items missing around the last entry time. It might be better to go early. I would like to visit again, but since there is only one restaurant option for dinner, it would be nice to have an in-room dining service. Thank you very much.

    It was a calm and nice Hotel.

    With a limited number of rooms, the Onsen has a smooth and excellent water quality, and the buffet dining area is spacious and comfortable, allowing for a leisurely breakfast. I would like to use it again.

    We were satisfied with the onsen, cuisine, and view of Mount Asama. The service from the restaurant staff was excellent, and they kindly changed our seat to one with a better view during breakfast, which was a nice touch. Next time, I hope to set up a golf package and stay in a room with a view of the course.

    It was a very relaxing Hotel.

    It was a weekday a little early for the autumn leaves, and since it was cloudy, the distant view was hazy, but we were able to spend our time very quietly surrounded by the natural forest on the vast grounds. I thought there would be many golf guests, but that wasn't the case, and there were many senior couples like us. There were no domestic or inbound group guests, so we could really enjoy the restaurant and Onsen in peace.

    Onsen is the best!

    We used it for our 35th wedding anniversary. The room was clean, the view from the balcony was excellent, and above all, the Onsen was very good. We visited four Onsen during this trip, and this Onsen was the best. The dinner course was delicious and paired well with wine, and the dessert came with a congratulatory message, which made us happy. However, there were few servers, and the ice cream served was half melted. The number of breakfast items felt a bit less compared to other Prince Hotels, but we enjoyed it, and the hotel coffee was especially delicious! We would like to revisit the Onsen again.

    The balcony is the best.

    This was my second stay. This time, I stayed with my mother. The view from the room was greenery and sky!! We could hear the chirping of birds, and the time spent on the balcony was soothing. The room was spacious! It felt a bit old, but it was clean, beautiful, and comfortable. My mother was delighted with the feel of the room wear. Haha. To get to the bath, you need to step outside for a moment, but it's not far, so it's fine. The hot spring had a smooth, silky texture, which I liked. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, so we couldn't see Mount Asama, but it was a lovely bath. The French course dinner used seasonal ingredients and was very delicious and satisfying. The drinks were a bit pricey. The restaurant was open and airy, and the interior was lovely. This hotel is convenient as there is a shuttle bus from Karuizawa Station. As a Diamond member benefit, you can check in an hour early and check out an hour late, but it's a pity that the timing doesn't match if you use the shuttle bus. Tears.
