    As expected of a long-established Hotel.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. The Room was spacious and lovely, the neatly made bed was very comfortable, and the L’OCCITANE amenities were excellent. We truly appreciated everything—from the Plan that allowed us to change breakfast to lunch to the late check-out. In particular, the long-established Chinese cuisine was outstanding, and we were completely satisfied with our stay. We went back for seconds many times. We would love to visit again with our family.

    A comfortable Hotel with a retro vibe

    Located in the heart of Chinatown, it was convenient to go anywhere within the area. I really liked the retro atmosphere of the Hotel, and the Room was comfortable. However, I occasionally noticed sounds from other rooms at night, so those sensitive to noise might find earplugs helpful.

    Accommodation with excellent location, rooms, meals, and cost performance

    The accommodation is conveniently located near the station, perfect for enjoying the many wonderful bars and delicious restaurants in Chinatown. The room is reasonably spacious, showing some signs of aging but remains calm and clean. Opening the window reveals a towering apartment building blocking the view. However, this seems to be a recent construction and not the accommodation's fault. Without it, you could have enjoyed a stunning view of Yokohama Port. The most surprising feature was the massive bed—no matter how much you toss and turn, there's no risk of falling off! Breakfast deserves special mention! While not an extensive buffet, every dish was excellent. The mapo tofu and Chinese curry were so good that they alone are worth coming back for. One downside was being seated at a chilly aisle seat despite many empty tables further inside—possibly because I was dining alone. Additionally, casual chatting among female staff members caught my attention. Overall, this accommodation offers outstanding value for money and serves as an excellent base for leisure activities.

    Although I stayed during a period with limited hotel options near the end of the year and had some expectations as it was a long-established hotel in Yokohama, my overall impression was not very positive. The amenities were lacking, with no cosmetics provided, and items like cotton swabs were simply repackaged. Even the coasters did not have the hotel's name, making it feel no different from a Business Hotel. Additionally, although we stayed as a group of three, only two room cards were provided. When I inquired at the front desk, they mentioned that they limit it to two cards per room. It felt evident that cost-cutting measures were being prioritized over guest experience, which detracted from the sense of luxury or escape one might expect from such an accommodation. The only positive aspect was its proximity to tourist spots like Chinatown.

    Recommended for a mini trip to Yokohama Chinatown

    We visited Yokohama Chinatown for the first time with three female friends! The location, Hotel, and Room were all wonderful, and everyone was delighted. The next day, after checking out, we went to the hotel's Jukei Hanten restaurant that we had reserved through IKYU. It was also very well-received! Next time, we plan to visit with family by car.

    Family-Friendly Hotel

    Thank you for your hospitality during our recent stay. The Hotel staff's attentive service made our experience very enjoyable. We truly appreciate it. We are also grateful for the provision of baby equipment and the assistance with bottle sterilization (microwave). We look forward to staying again when we visit the area next time. However, I rated "4" because during breakfast, we were repeatedly reminded of the closing time, which felt a bit rushed. Additionally, when leaving the restaurant and saying "thank you" to two staff members, they were turned away and engaged in conversation with each other. It was disappointing as the front desk staff provided such excellent service otherwise.

    It was great.

    I stayed here for a live event in Yokohama Minato Mirai and also took the opportunity to visit Chinatown. The Facility and rooms were slightly dated, but it did not affect my stay. The cleaning was thorough. I didn’t have time to research sightseeing spots, but the female staff at the front desk (in charge of luggage storage) recommended some great restaurants in Chinatown, which were all excellent!     All staff were courteous and wonderful.

    As it’s a historic building, you can feel its age in places, but it was kept very clean and we had a comfortable stay. From the parking guidance to the front desk staff—and even someone we happened to share an elevator with who kindly pressed the buttons for us—every time we interacted with the staff, we felt truly well cared for, which made our time there very enjoyable. It was also much more convenient and comfortable than expected being so close to Chinatown. We would definitely love to stay again.

    Day 1 in Tokyo, Day ...

    Day 1 in Tokyo, Day 2 in Yokohama, and Day 3 back in Tokyo—this plan included a two-night stay. Located in Chinatown, it’s convenient for dining. You can walk to Motomachi and Harbor View Park, and it’s also close to the Minatomirai Line, making access to Yokohama Station and Minatomirai easy for a fulfilling trip. Although we didn’t use it this time, the hotel also houses Jukei Hanten restaurant, making it a very practical accommodation. I’d love to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama!

    A Hotel with Outstanding Stability

    Stayed at Rose Hotel Yokohama for our annual year-end party in Chinatown with the usual group. Thank you for accommodating all our prior requests. This year, the Room's air conditioning was updated, and elevator security was enhanced. Check-in was smooth as information had been pre-registered, making entry stress-free and pleasant. While Hotel prices have risen across the board, including at Rose Hotel Yokohama, staying here is an essential part of my Chinatown experience. I plan to continue visiting as long as my budget allows. Thank you always!

    I made an early Reservation to stay in the Room I had always dreamed of. The Room was even more spacious than the photos, with three semi-double beds comfortably lined up, a large sofa, and a big TV set together. The interior and wallpaper were stunning! Having two toilets was very convenient. The Room felt like a complex and deeply flavored Chinese dish—unique and delightful. Above all, the service was exceptional! Truly worthy of a long-established Hotel's reputation. The staff provided attentive service that truly catered to guests' needs. Unlike many Hotels where staff focus only on their tasks without looking up, this Hotel stood out. Everyone kept their heads up, constantly observing guests to ensure they could assist whenever needed without cutting corners. One staff member who guided me to a supermarket early in the morning greeted me warmly upon my return. Another stopped vacuuming immediately to help when I couldn't find the ice machine. A front desk staff member kindly accommodated my requests with ease, while another communicated my situation thoughtfully to a taxi driver with genuine concern. Their natural professionalism was top-notch. Located about 1,500 yen by taxi from Yokohama Station, this is truly a place everyone should experience staying at least once. I now understand why all guests seemed so happy and full of laughter during their stay here. Thank you very much!

    It was a wonderful stay!

    The Room was clean, the bed was spacious and comfortable, the atmosphere was great, and it was quiet, making for a pleasant stay! Being right next to Chinatown added a lively vibe and made it enjoyable. Walking around was also fun. The staff and parking attendants were kind and helpful. I would love to visit again!

    The staff were very friendly, and the atmosphere of the room had a retro feel, making my stay comfortable. If I may suggest, it would be great if the shower curtain could be slightly longer and if there were an outlet near the desk with a large mirror in the room.     Suite Room

    I stayed in a suite room with lounge access. The lounge drinks were comparable to a family restaurant drink bar, and the wine was far from the quality you'd expect to enjoy in a lounge. The worst part was the light snacks. Items like prosciutto and homemade ham seemed untouched and left out for too long, becoming dry and unappetizing. The prosciutto appeared discolored, which raised hygiene concerns. When I tried the homemade ham, it had an odd sour taste that made me stop eating it out of fear for my safety. This should be improved before any incidents occur. Honestly, I would have preferred not to visit that lounge at all... Additionally, the room amenities were lacking for a suite room—there wasn’t even lotion provided as you might expect in such accommodations. While I understand this may be due to its reasonable price point, considering its location, there’s definitely room for improvement. On a positive note, breakfast was delicious! Although many staff members seemed inexperienced, they were all very pleasant and polite.

    I use it regularly.

    The hotel is conveniently located right in front of Chinatown, and I always use it. I enjoy trying a different restaurant for dinner each time. The only downside is that the position of the washlet switch is a bit far. The parking fee remains the same until 12:00 PM, so you can buy souvenirs in Chinatown before heading home.

    Hotel in Chinatown

    I had been wanting to stay here for a while, and I finally got the chance this time. The location is excellent. The view from the room was on the opposite side of Chinatown, so it was mostly buildings. The room had a large bed that was very comfortable, and I appreciated the L'Occitane bath amenities. I didn’t have breakfast due to lack of time, but since most of the guests were foreigners, I wonder if a buffet might feel a bit hectic?

    Perfect for a girls' trip for 3 guests.

    We stayed in a triple suite room for an adult girls' gathering. The spacious Room, oriental interior, and dual toilets and sinks provided the perfect environment to relax and enjoy our stay. However, there were some disappointing points: the prosciutto in the lounge service was overly dry, we wished for a beer server instead of canned beer, more lounge-appropriate snacks like cheese to pair with drinks would have been nice, and the Room cleaning was not thorough (especially the bathroom ventilation fan was covered in dust, as well as dust accumulating on the glass display shelves in the living area). We hope these issues will be improved as we would love to stay again if given another opportunity.
