    One-night stay for a couple

    We stayed one night in Okayama to spend some quality time together as a couple for the first time in a while. Our Room was a corner Room near the elevator with a great view. The Room felt a bit old, but it was well maintained and clean. We had planned to go out right away, but we ended up wanting to just keep enjoying the view. Breakfast was on the top floor, and the scenery there was different from what we saw from our Room, which was nice. The food selection included both Japanese and Western options, and they even had Kasaoka ramen—everything was excellent. We also appreciated having our photo taken. Since we chose a Plan with 12:00 checkout, we were able to visit a nearby exhibition while leaving our luggage at the hotel. We heard that the Rooms will be renovated next year, so we’re looking forward to seeing them after the renovation.

    Drinking Water in the Room

    It may be for the SDGs, but not having bottled water is very inconvenient. If I need water after going to bed, I have to get up each time to drink. It’s disappointing, as almost all good Hotels provide it. I would prefer you focus on environmental efforts in other areas. The meals and the staff’s service were excellent.

    No Meals Included for 1 Guest

    I stayed for two nights. The location was very convenient, close to the station. Thanks to the courteous support from all the staff, I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. I would like to stay here again. Thank you for your hospitality.

    The Hotel staff were...

    The Hotel staff were very kind, and thanks to them I had a very comfortable stay in Okayama. The breakfast restaurant offered delicious dishes and a wonderful view, so I’m glad I chose the breakfast-included plan.

    The front desk staff were very helpful, so I had a pleasant stay.

    I arrived at the Hotel late at night, but the front desk staff greeted me with a warm smile and courteous service. I also appreciate their quick and helpful responses to my questions. My Room was on a high floor, with a beautiful night view, and I was able to relax. For breakfast, I would have liked a bit more variety of vegetable salads. In the morning, I overslept and was about two minutes late when leaving, but they let me know that the taxi I had requested had arrived, so I could depart in a good mood. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Conveniently connected directly to the station. Breakfast was satisfying.

    It was very convenient for visiting Imbe, the town of Bizen ware, and Kibitsu Shrine, with Okayama Station as a starting point. All Hotel staff were courteous and attentive, and I was very satisfied. The Room had a great layout and felt comfortable without feeling cramped. The breakfast buffet was of a high standard. The view from the 20th floor was excellent, the seating was spacious, and I could enjoy a hearty, delicious meal in the morning.

    Overall, it was great. The only downside was that I couldn't use the bar, which I wanted to try. I look forward to using it next time I stay.

    Not bad, but...

    Stayed in the High-Floor Lounge Privilege Queen Room on Tuesday, December 9. Usually, I stay at another hotel directly connected to the station, but this time I chose this accommodation. The room was not outdated, and amenities were minimal (available upon request) with a focus on environmental conservation, which was impressive. The lounge was decent but felt somewhat makeshift. Being on the top floor, it offered great views and a pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean and user-friendly; however, it might be nice to have fabric deodorizer for clothes and non-woven shoe cleaners available (apologies if I missed them). The location is on the opposite side of the station but quieter as a result—this comes down to personal preference. Overall, it feels like a balance between a city hotel and a business hotel in terms of price and service quality.

    Satisfactory

    Close to the station, the Room was accommodating even for a solo female traveler, which I greatly appreciated. I had dinner on the first floor and, although I ordered only a small amount, the staff provided kind and welcoming service. I look forward to staying here again next time. Thank you very much!

    The Hotel provided excellent service.

    I felt the charm of a traditional Japanese hotel. There was someone to carry my luggage as if it were natural, and whenever I asked something, I received kind answers. The unpretentious atmosphere made me think this is what hotels used to feel like in the past. Due to an urgent matter, I had to stay one night in Okayama and booked a place without much expectation, but I never thought I would have such a wonderful experience. The hotel is slightly old, but it left such a great impression that if I visit Okayama again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Next time, I'd like to take my time and relax here. Thank you very much for this experience!

    I had a comfortable stay.

    I stayed in the Presidential Suite and enjoyed room service. The room was spacious and comfortable. Even in suites, some accommodations with low occupancy rates can have insufficient cleaning, but this hotel was impeccably clean, which made the stay very pleasant. The bathroom was also large, clean, bright, and enjoyable for children without any fear. For room service, I had pasta and yakisoba; although the noodles were slightly stuck together, they were delicious. Both the serving staff and cleaning staff were kind and attentive. The purpose of our trip was a round trip on the Anpanman Train from Takamatsu, and while this hotel served as a stopover point, it became part of a wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much!

    It exceeded my expectations.

    I had the wrong travel dates and had to make a new Reservation at short notice. There were almost no Rooms available, and IKYU was the only option, so I booked through them. 　The only Room available was a small double, but it was upgraded to a king Room. The Room was clean, and with direct access to the station, it was convenient and comfortable.

    It was a satisfying stay.

    The Room was clean, and the front desk service was polite and pleasant. The dessert plate in the lounge service was exciting! I would love to stay again.

    The service was worth the price.

    The price is set higher compared to nearby hotels, but I believe the service provided was worth it. However, it was disappointing that the initial review rating defaulted to the highest score of 5 stars. Was this intended to guide towards a perfect rating?

    The bathroom was small.

    The room had one double bed, but the bathroom was very small and inconvenient to use. However, upon checking again, I found that the room size is 18 square meters. If that's the case, it's understandable, but since I made the Reservation under the name ANA, I was a bit surprised upon arrival.

    A Wonderful Journey

    We had a truly wonderful trip exploring Okayama Prefecture for our family celebration, thanks to the hospitality of your Hotel. The Room was spacious, offering views of trains from the window and cityscapes from the lounge. We also enjoyed a delightful breakfast unique to Okayama, featuring local specialties like mackerel sushi and peaches, which deeply impressed our entire family. The front desk staff kindly provided detailed information about tourist spots and shopping areas. My daughter and I found Okayama Korakuen Garden to be an absolutely stunning place, and we are already talking about visiting again. When we return to explore more of Okayama, we would love to stay at your Hotel for another relaxing experience.

    Used for a last-minute reservation.

    Due to a sudden need to stay in Okayama, I made a same-day reservation for same-day accommodation without meals. Although I only used the room's bath, the staff's service and the cleanliness of the facility were excellent.

    This time, I used the service for business purposes. From an ESG perspective, you are asked to select necessary amenities at check-in. I requested and received a razor and comb, but items like lotion or cream are not provided, so guests who need them should bring their own. It would be helpful if this information could be announced before completing the reservation.

    As expected from a top-class Hotel, the comfort is exceptional, but there are some disappointing aspects.

    Ranked as the top Hotel in Okayama City, both the service and Room comfort were impeccable. If only the bathroom and toilet were separate, it would have been 120% satisfaction. The breakfast was also highly satisfying; however, if I had to point out a drawback, it would be being guided to a counter seat for breakfast on the second day despite available table seats. While this might not have been an issue with more space, being seated so close to others—like at a crowded fast-food restaurant—was far from comfortable. This was especially disappointing after enjoying a spacious table seat on the first day.

    I had a comfortable stay.

    After getting off the bus (as I traveled by plane), I was able to reach the hotel without any trouble. The room was spacious and very comfortable, offering a great view of Okayama City from a high floor. Breakfast and front desk service were excellent, though I was often spoken to in English by the hotel staff—despite being Japanese! I debated whether to reserve through the hotel's official website or IKYU.com. However, since benefits like IHG or SFC can only be used with official reservations, this is something to keep in mind when reserving. As it was a non-cancellable plan, there wasn’t much I could do afterward. Still, earning points on IKYU.com made it worthwhile in its own way!

    Convenient location ...

    Convenient location right in front of the station, excellent service, and a satisfying breakfast. The room was clean with crisp and comfortable sheets, making for a pleasant stay. However, the central air conditioning system cannot be individually adjusted, which was inconvenient. The accommodation cost is high due to the lack of similar-grade hotels in the area and is significantly more expensive compared to ANA Crowne Plaza Kobe. If that's the case, it would be appreciated if amenities were more comprehensive. The minimal offerings felt more like cost-cutting than environmental consideration. That said, unless another hotel is built nearby, I would likely choose this accommodation again overall.

    It was excellent.

    Stayed here for the Setouchi Triennale. The receptionist was very pleasant, and my companions and I had a comfortable stay. The breakfast juice was also delicious and easy to drink.

    Stayed to attend a funeral

    The service was average. I was concerned about the dirty floor in the Room. After the ceremony, I stopped by to pick up my luggage, and it was nice that they provided a place to change clothes. I compared several Hotels near Okayama Station and I'm glad I chose this one.

    Thank you for your support this year as well.

    Thank you for taking care of us again during the New Year holidays this year. We really enjoyed the ozoni, osechi, and barachirashi served at breakfast. The service was impeccable, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. We definitely want to visit again.

    Dryness of the Room

    A humidifier was provided, but I was still concerned about the dryness of the Room. I filled the humidifier with water twice myself.

    I stayed during the New Year holidays. There was not a single welcome drink prepared in the Room. It was lonely because there was no countdown event since it was the end of the year.

    ANA Crowne Plaza Hot...

    ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Okayama is conveniently located near the station and is excellent in every aspect. However, every time I stay, the first thing I notice upon entering the Room is the carpet stains. I notice it more than in any other Hotel. I hope this point can be improved, as the service is good and I think it's excellent.
