    My No. 1 Hotel

Although we love traveling and have only compared a few dozen hotels so far, no matter how many new or upscale hotels we stay at, we always say that Global View is No. 1. Even when work is tough, soaking in the Room bathtub, resting on the spacious bed, and enjoying a hearty breakfast makes us feel as refreshed as if we’d taken three days off. We highly recommend the breakfast-included Plan at this Hotel! For us as a couple, it will always be the champion among hotels.

    It was a stylish Room.

We stayed as a family of five. We had a Japanese-Western style Room on the 6th floor (I think). It was a triple Room with an additional sofa bed, so there were four beds in total. The kids were thrilled. Children’s pajamas (loungewear) were also delivered to our Room. Breakfast at the restaurant on the 15th floor was crowded, probably because it was the weekend, but the view was great and the food was delicious. Our eldest son uses a wheelchair due to a disability, and the corridor on the 6th floor had stone paving like a Japanese garden, which made it difficult to move around in a wheelchair.

    Delighted by the delicious breakfast

I stayed for one night on a business trip. The classic Western-style interior created a calm atmosphere, and the staff were friendly, so I had a very comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Even simple items like sausages and eggs were well managed in terms of temperature and tasted better than at other hotels. I would definitely like to stay again.

    Thank you for the bath.

This is my regular Accommodation in Nagasaki. This time, I stayed with my wife. After walking around the city in the heat, we were exhausted, but the large public bath brought us back to life. I think the pickles at breakfast are delicious. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night on Friday–Saturday just before the Marine Day three-day weekend for a business trip. The tram stop is right in front, the Room was relatively spacious and reasonably clean, the bath area was roomy with various tubs and saunas, and breakfast was a buffet at the 15th-floor restaurant with views over Nagasaki City (a chef prepared omelets, fried eggs, and sea bream chazuke). Considering I was able to stay at a reasonable price, I was fully satisfied.

There was an open-air bath, so it felt like we had gone to an Onsen.

    Excellent value for money

It was a very nice Hotel. They stored our luggage before check-in, and by the time we checked in, it had already been delivered to our Room. As other Reviews mention, the building feels a bit old, but “old” doesn’t mean “bad”—the classic design was actually lovely. The Room was a comfortable size, thoroughly cleaned, and very pleasant to stay in. For dinner, we had Japanese cuisine on the first floor. The fish was excellent and made for an enjoyable meal. Breakfast must be popular—although we went right at opening time, it was already quite crowded. The miso soup with plenty of ingredients was properly hot, the side dishes were carefully prepared, and the chef cooked omelets while also plating sea bream chazuke. Above all, the price was an amazing value. The entire property was impeccably clean, all staff were wonderful and attentive, and yet the rates were reasonable. If I visit Nagasaki again, I will definitely stay here.

It was clean and comfortable to stay in. We couldn’t find any nearby restaurants, so we ate at the Hotel, and the food was delicious. The service was excellent as well, and we had a wonderful time. The breakfast venue the next morning was on a high floor with a fantastic view. The breakfast menu also had unique local touches, such as Nagasaki-style oden and sea bream chazuke, which made it enjoyable.

    The breakfast was excellent!

The buffet-style setup was well arranged and easy to choose from. On the first day I went with Western dishes, and on the second day I tried Japanese dishes. Everything was delicious and very satisfying. Also, the Hotel is close to Nagasaki Station, Mt. Inasa, and Nagasaki Brick Hall, which made it very convenient for me as I was there for a concert and also wanted to do some sightseeing. Since I wasn’t able to land on Gunkanjima (Battleship Island), I’d like to stay here again if I get another chance.

A Stay in Nagasaki for the First Time in Decades

Since we arrived late, we chose this Hotel for its convenient location near the station and reasonable price. In short, the service, Room, Facility, meals, and more exceeded expectations for the price, and we were satisfied with everything. We would like to stay again if we have the opportunity.

    Enjoyable Breakfast Buffet

We had a great impression of the breakfast buffet, so we stayed again this year. There was a wide variety of options and everything tasted great, so we enjoyed it again this year. The friendly chef’s service was also excellent. The room felt a bit small because we added an extra bed, but it was still comfortable.

    Glad to hear that.

The staff were gentle and polite. The large public bath was spacious, clean, and very satisfying. It’s inconvenient to bring towels from the Room; I’d like at least hand towels to be available in the public bath. The Room was cleaned well. I would also like tea to be provided. The lighting in the Room is too dim!

    Soothing Walks Along the Slopes

This was my first time staying at this Hotel. It’s about a 6–8 minute walk from the station. After walking around Nagasaki for sightseeing, the Onsen on the 5th floor soothed my tired feet. With an open-air-style bath, a sauna, and several types of baths, the facilities are well equipped. Thanks to that, I felt refreshed the next day.

    Second time.

This was my second stay, and the front desk staff greeted me with “Thank you as always,” which truly warmed my heart. Also, when loud noise from the floor above continued for a long time, I appreciate that you still took action even though it must have been difficult to address. Breakfast was very delicious again, and everything was wonderful. The staff member who showed me to my seat was friendly, courteous, and full of hospitality. Whether I was heading out or returning, they spoke to me right away. I think this is a truly excellent Hotel. When I visit Nagasaki again, I would definitely like to stay here. Thank you very much.

    The walk from the st...

The walk from the station feels a bit lonely as there is not much along the way. The Room is a little old, but it was clean and spacious enough. The breakfast venue was large, but during Golden Week it was crowded and we waited about 15 minutes for our turn. The food was delicious. Although we stayed elsewhere, we met up in Nagasaki at night with our son, who was there for training, and had dinner together as a family of three. The night view was beautiful, and we enjoyed a delicious Western-style course meal.

    The bath is excellent.

It was more spacious than I expected, and a wonderful bath where I could relax and take my time! I’m glad I made a Reservation! The breakfast buffet had a great variety, and with the amazing view, I ended up eating more than I meant to! The omelet was excellent!

    Enjoy Nagasaki

On the first day of our Golden Week trip, unfortunately it was pouring rain. There was an announcement about a power outage, and we briefly wondered what would happen, but thanks to the Hotel’s backup generator it never got dark and we stayed comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a great variety and was delicious. The large public bath was spacious and clean. One small downside was that there weren’t enough hair dryers, so I dried my hair in the Room.

    The staff’s smiles are wonderful.

The staff’s greetings and smiles were wonderful. I had visited before for weddings and meals, but this was my first time staying overnight. I didn’t even know there were baths, including an open-air bath. I was able to relax and unwind. I stayed here to watch a Velca game, and I would love to stay again.

A hearty breakfast, a large public bath, and excellent access to trams and buses

We stayed for two nights with breakfast included. The buffet breakfast in the 15th-floor lounge offered a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, as well as local specialties, and we were very satisfied. The dessert selection—fruit, cakes, and pudding—was also thoughtful and thoroughly enjoyable. However, the step differences on the floor felt a bit scary for seniors. The large public bath on the 5th floor is also a welcome Facility for a city Hotel. With multiple tubs, it still felt spacious even when somewhat crowded. In addition, transportation access is excellent: both the streetcar stop and the bus stop to Nagasaki Airport are right in front of the Hotel, making it very convenient.

I may have had my expectations too high.

I was concerned about a crack in the marble (?) in the Room washbasin area, and it had darkened there (and there was also hair on the floor nearby). I was given a top-floor Room, but I personally would have preferred a lower-floor Room without cracks. I appreciated the luggage storage service before and after check-out, your kind advice about sightseeing, and the breakfast buffet. There were no issues on the first day, but on the second day the hot water flow in the large public bath became weak, which was a bit inconvenient. The pot bath was very relaxing.

Both the scenic Room and the bathroom are comfortable.

Both the Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The view of Nagasaki city from our 12th-floor Room was also wonderful. The lobby was luxurious, with live piano performances that added an upscale feel. Since we did not use the dining or Onsen facilities, unfortunately I cannot comment on them. There is a cafe on the first floor where you can get light meals, but it was disappointing that it closes at 18:00. There is a delivery service, and I appreciated being able to send luggage easily. Also, having a convenience store on the first floor was very convenient for quick shopping.

    Clean and comfortable.

It felt like a new Hotel, and we were able to use both the Room and the large public bath comfortably. The amenities were great, and the staff’s service was also excellent. It’s not right in front of Nagasaki Station, but it’s within walking distance, and it was convenient to have a streetcar stop in front of the Hotel. The free Shuttle Service bus to the Inasayama Ropeway also stops in front of the Hotel, which was very convenient.

The Onsen and breakfast are excellent.

I stayed at The Global View Nagasaki during my trip to Nagasaki. Before my stay, I heard that a high school group on a school trip would be staying at the same time, and I was a little worried it might be noisy. In reality, the students were very well-mannered, and I had a truly pleasant stay. What I especially loved was the Onsen. I visited several times at different hours, and it was relatively quiet each time, so I could relax and soak at my own pace. There were multiple baths with different temperatures, which made it easy to enjoy according to my preference. Breakfast also left a strong impression. The chef kindly announced the recommended dishes of the day, giving it a bit of a live feel even in the morning. The sea bream ochazuke was outstanding—so delicious that I wanted seconds. I also tried the chef’s recommended amazake, and it made for a refreshing morning that seemed to melt away travel fatigue. The Hotel is conveniently located right in front of both a bus stop and a streetcar stop, making it an excellent base for sightseeing. It’s an Accommodation that makes exploring Nagasaki comfortable and easy.

    Convenient location

When choosing a Hotel, I try to pick one close to the station and with a large public bath, and this was perfect. The tram stop was also nearby, and it was great that there was a convenience store right next door. I stayed for two nights and was very comfortable. The Room was a spacious non-smoking double. For breakfast, I had Japanese on the first day and Western on the second. It’s the standard selection, but the omelet and drinks—especially the Nagasaki mandarin orange juice—were delicious. The large public bath was relaxing; since it was a weekday, I think it was less crowded and I could take my time. I’d like to make an opportunity to stay again.

The large public bath is spotless and fantastic!

The three of us stayed here, and the Room was clean and comfortable. Above all, the large public bath was spotless and new, so we could enjoy bathing very pleasantly. The open-air bath in particular was a relaxing space where we could unwind while looking out at the garden—we were very satisfied! However, perhaps because the air-conditioning in the changing room was set too high, it felt hot as soon as we entered. We imagine guests coming straight from the bath may have felt it even more.
