Family Trip
Highly-rated accommodation on the internet. We planned our trip to stay in the popular room (Yamabuki). As expected, it was a wonderful room where we could relax and enjoy the onsen. Each dish served during meals was incredibly delicious. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality—from the warm welcome upon arrival, guidance to our room, and attentive service during meals. The thoughtful attention to detail and kind gestures were truly remarkable. Having visited many ryokans, this level of service left a lasting impression. It became a memorable trip for us. Thank you very much!

It was the perfect anniversary trip.
The service was exceptionally polite, making the entire stay pleasant from the moment we arrived to the very end. During both dinner and breakfast, the staff provided clear and detailed explanations of each dish, which made the meals even more enjoyable. We had reserved a tart cake for our anniversary, but they went above and beyond by preparing an additional anniversary plate for dessert, which deeply moved us. This is now our favorite accommodation ever.

The meals are absolutely delicious.
We chose this accommodation because it is not too far from the Kansai and Chugoku-Shikoku regions. We stayed as a family, including my elderly mother. It was late September, just at the beginning of autumn, and we enjoyed a kaiseki meal featuring an abundance of matsutake mushrooms. The food was incredibly delicious, especially the simmered ayu fish, matsutake and mukago mixed rice, and the tender Himeji beef cooked on a ceramic plate. The seasonal appetizers were visually stunning as well. The staff serving our meals were friendly and made our dining experience enjoyable. The onsen is a simple hot spring type, so it doesn't have a strong "onsen" feel; however, the water temperature was perfect. Both the private open-air bath in our room and the large public open-air bath allowed us to relax while enjoying views of the countryside scenery. There is also a self-service bar corner where you can enjoy free drinks while reading books or listening to records. Additionally, you can take a stroll in the garden behind the hotel to unwind from daily stress. I later found out that this accommodation has an age restriction for guests (middle school students or older), which contributed to its peaceful atmosphere—something I greatly appreciated (apologies to families with young children). I would love to visit again to enjoy seasonal landscapes and ingredients throughout different times of year!

Both the Room and service are excellent.
This was my first time using this service. Although I checked in quite late, the staff provided a pleasant and welcoming response. We enjoyed a delicious dinner in a semi-private room, allowing us to relax as a couple. The dishes, made of Shigaraki ware carefully selected by the hostess locally, added to the enjoyment of the meal. The room was thoroughly cleaned and comfortable to use. The private open-air bath attached to our room was wonderful, and we were able to spend some relaxing time together as a couple after a long while. With check-out at 11:00 AM, we could enjoy an elegant morning without rushing around. I would love to visit again if I have another opportunity! However, when I arrived at the main building's reception desk, they initially said there was no reservation under my name until I mentioned that it was for an annex room; only then did they connect me properly. The separate reception for annex rooms was confusing and caused some panic upon arrival—but everything else deserves full marks!

Relax
I am a repeat guest. I have stayed here several times, and it always makes me feel at ease. The staff are very polite, and this Ryokan is the most reassuring place compared to others. The dining staff always provide clear explanations, no matter who assists us, and they are all approachable and pleasant. The meals are delicious, but the people here are truly exceptional. It brings peace to my heart and motivates me to work hard again. I have made another Reservation!

Always enjoy a relaxing stay.
I had a relaxing stay this time as well. Everyone we interacted with greeted us warmly, which made the experience very pleasant. Both dinner and breakfast were consistently delicious—truly amazing! The Room's bath was delightful, with a soothing breeze and the occasional quacks of the ducks nearby, as if they were welcoming us (laughs). I’ll be back in winter for another healing visit!

Relaxing Accommodation
Thank you for using our services multiple times. I was curious about Gako's eggs and went to see them, but they seemed a bit tired from the heat, which made me a little worried. However, I always appreciate the polite explanations and cheerful service during meal delivery. Nowadays, it's rare for Ryokans to help carry luggage or guide guests to their rooms, but recently only Yuyake Koyake still provides this service. It’s a moment that truly makes me feel like I'm on a trip. There isn’t one specific thing that stands out; the food is delicious, and I love the relaxing time here. Hearing Gako's voice gives me energy. I hope next time I visit, I'll get to see the eggs hatch into chicks!

Everything is excellent.
The accommodation kindly upgraded us to a room without steps for my father with mobility issues and provided excellent support. The staff serving the meals were always smiling and offered outstanding hospitality. The cuisine was not only delicious but also beautifully presented with attention to detail in the tableware, making it an enjoyable experience. I frequently stay at various ryokans, but this accommodation exceeded expectations in every aspect.

Fairly satisfied.
This accommodation is sufficient for staying while sightseeing in Himeji. However, if your sole purpose is the onsen, the quality of the spring may not make it a must-visit accommodation. It is worth considering for its convenience from Kyoto, Osaka, and Kobe.

Girls' Trip
A great accommodation. The staff are friendly and easy to talk to. The room is clean, and the meals are both visually enjoyable and delicious. Amenities include two face masks, which is a nice touch.

I felt very relaxed....
I felt very relaxed. The mountain view from the Room, the sounds of birds and insects, and the slow-paced atmosphere were wonderful. The warm hospitality that didn’t disrupt this calmness was truly appreciated. The food was delicious, and the presentation of the dishes was very enjoyable. Room
Stayed in a one-room accommodation with a cypress open-air bath (the highest rank available for solo stay that day). The floorboard of the shower booth leading to the open-air bath was cracked. Since it’s an area walked on barefoot, I inquired about other rooms. Although it was a lower-ranked room, its shower booth floorboard seemed fine, so I accepted the room change. However, while the new room's shower booth floorboard was intact, there was black mold on the walls of the booth and green moss(?) on the floorboards leading to the bathtub in the bathroom beyond. The bathtub tiles were also peeling off in several places. The screen door installed on the glass door leading from the room to the wooden deck was so dirty that outdoor footwear appeared hazy when viewed through it. Images are attached but no edits or alterations have been made. This is not defamation or personal opinion but simply sharing my experience of that day's accommodation for others' reference. No ratings provided.

The staff's hospital...
The staff's hospitality was excellent, the cuisine was exquisite, the room was wonderful, and there were various types of baths. As an Onsen enthusiast, I was extremely satisfied. I would love to visit again.

The washroom and tatami mats in the Japanese-style room are old. The breakfast lacks local specialties and is ordinary.

It was excellent.
The hot spring quality was excellent, and the meals were just right, making it a very pleasant experience. Not only the Room but also the entire facility and bath areas were impeccably clean. Highly recommended! I’m considering visiting again in a different season.

This is a property where you can relax.
I have used this place many times, and this time I was able to relax as well. The open-air bath in the Room was pleasant, the food was very delicious, and everyone who interacted with us was very kind, creating a truly calming atmosphere. I will visit again when I want to unwind.

Please be cautious of the slight step inside the Room.
I stayed at Full Moon (Room 135). I was very satisfied with both the food and the service. However, regarding the room, what concerned me was the presence of steps. There are steps between the entrance and the tatami room, and between the tatami room and the bedroom, which made me almost trip. I think special attention is needed for elderly people when moving around at night.

The owner's birthday
I was looking for a nearby Onsen for my husband's birthday, and a colleague recommended this place, so we decided to visit. The Room, meals, and Onsen were all excellent, and the staff were kind and attentive. It was an Onsen that made me glad we went!

I was able to relax. I enjoyed the meals and the in-room hot spring at a leisurely pace! In the private hot spring, I even made friends with some bugs, haha.

It was a wonderful accommodation.
