    From check-in to check-out, we received very attentive hospitality. The Room, bath, meals, and service were all excellent—an Accommodation we were truly satisfied with. We had such a meaningful stay that we didn’t want to return to reality. Thank you very much.

    Thank you very much for your hospitality. We were able to relax and take our time during this stay. Even though it was the busy Obon holiday season, Yuyake Koyake felt like a different world. You gave us exactly what we wanted—a chance to forget everyday life and enjoy a peaceful, unhurried time. The Room (Harima) was also beautifully kept and well arranged. It felt very clean, and we were extremely satisfied. The staff’s thoughtful touches—such as helping us in the rain at check-in—were truly pleasant and appreciated. We would love to stay with you again. Thank you very much.

    It feels comfortable.

    I’ve stayed at this Accommodation many times, and I’m always able to relax. The meals are delicious, and the female staff provide excellent service, making it a very comfortable and satisfying experience. I was also able to unwind in the Room’s bath and enjoy a slow, peaceful pace of time. Of course, I’ll be back again.

    Wonderful Accommodation

    This is the Accommodation we chose because we wanted to stay in a room with a private open-air bath. Soaking in the open-air bath without worrying about others while looking at the deep blue summer sky and sparkling stars was amazing. Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying, with many kinds of carefully prepared dishes served in small portions, one by one. We also loved the shared spaces, such as the sake and wine tasting corner and areas where you can relax in your favorite chair. The private open-air bath was also excellent. Since we made a Reservation for the morning, when I lay down in the bath designed for reclining, the morning sun beat down on me so I couldn’t relax as much as I’d hoped, which was a bit disappointing—but we still enjoyed it plenty. Next time, if we can make a Reservation at night, we might be able to enjoy the starry sky. All of the staff were pleasant and attentive, and it’s an Accommodation we would like to stay at again.

    It was disappointing.

    Over a decade ago, I stayed at Yumenoi with my family and remembered it as an Accommodation that matched its price. A new annex called “Yuyake Koyake” had opened, so we went expecting a Room with an Onsen and good meals. When we used the in-room Onsen, there were strange popping and dripping noises from the ceiling of the floor directly below. When we asked for repairs, we were told there was no leak so there was nothing to worry about, and they asked if we wanted to move to the 3rd floor where there is no Room above. Even though we explained that if someone bathed at night we wouldn’t be able to sleep, they didn’t try to understand and treated us like overly sensitive complainers, which left us feeling very uncomfortable. The Room had many steps and too many items, making it hard to relax. To get to the dining venue you had to go outside once, and the automatic door was operated manually. There was no reasonably priced white wine, and the cheaper wine did not pair well with the food. For the price, it did not feel worth it and unfortunately fell short of our expectations. Thank you for your hospitality.

    It was a very nice accommodation.

    While it is not in a particularly special location facing the sea or mountains, the surrounding forest and terrain are used well, allowing you to enjoy greenery from inside and feel at ease. The guest Room layout is practical and spacious enough. The relationship between the in-room open-air bath and the washing area is also well designed, making it very comfortable. However, maintenance of the Facility seems insufficient due to age—for example, the screen door on the sliding sash leading from the Room to the deck was hard to move and partly torn, and the toilet sliding door was extremely heavy. Also, when using the open-air bath on the deck at night, cigarette smoke drifted over from a neighboring deck. Even though I specifically chose a non-smoking Room, it was unpleasant. If you leave the windows open, smoke comes into the Room as well. I would like smoking on decks to be strictly prohibited. The meals were thoughtfully prepared across all dishes—impressive and very delicious. The service was also extremely polite and pleasant. For Onsen bathing, we could also use the large public bath in the main building; there was little chlorine smell in the open-air bath and it had a nice view. In addition, one private bath session was available free of charge, which was very relaxing. Since Yume no Ioan has a different front desk, I think it would be better if there were clearer guidance from this property’s entrance to Yuuyake Koyake’s front desk. I would like to stay again during a nicer season.

    We had a wonderful trip!

    My wife and I stayed here to unwind from our daily fatigue.\nSince my wife is pregnant, we made several requests in advance, and they kindly accommodated them, allowing us to enjoy a comfortable stay.\nThis is a Ryokan we would love to visit again if we have the chance.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    • Right after check-in, the open-air bath while enjoying the fresh greenery was wonderful. • I was happy to be able to try Ibonoito “Sangami” with the meal—it was delicious. • The Himeji beef was incredibly tasty. I was full, but it was so good I wanted just one more bite with balsamic vinegar. • Since we support different teams, it was great to have a two-room setup so we could relax and cheer on our teams separately on different TVs.

    The meals are truly excellent.

    Every dish at dinner was outstanding. I usually get full with the fish and meat courses, but the pacing and progression of flavors were so well designed that it never felt heavy, and each dish was excellent. The Mikami somen noodles and the Shiogama-style meat were especially superb.

    I was able to recover from my fatigue.

    The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied. A few points of concern: - The restroom door in the Room is heavy, so it may be difficult for women to open and close. - We would like the Shuttle Service schedule to better align with train times. The departure in the 10 o’clock hour felt very tight with the train schedule.

    Thank you for your hospitality. This time, however, I was a bit disappointed. First, about the bath. The public bath hours had been shortened. Due to rising fuel oil costs, it was only available until 10:00 p.m., and it could not be used the next morning. If I remember correctly, it used to be available until 10:00 a.m. the following day... (At Mantenboshi, it was open until midnight and from 6:00 to 9:30 a.m.) Honestly, I felt this might be unavoidable. However, I don’t think the aging tatami mats and sliding doors in the Room are something that can’t be helped. More than that, the staff response did not meet my expectations. I went looking forward to enjoying a morning bath, but breakfast started at 8:00 a.m. Given that morning bathing is restricted, it would have been appreciated if breakfast could have been offered a little earlier—for example from 7:30 a.m. Also, I noticed staff chatting among themselves within earshot. I had never felt this way before during previous visits, so it was very disappointing. I hope to visit again next time and see how things have improved.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    My spouse and I stayed for one night. The meals were absolutely delicious. We were able to relax and had a very comfortable stay. We would definitely like to come again.

    Delicious meals!

    Both dinner and breakfast were Japanese-style, and the seasoning suited my taste, so everything was very delicious. I can’t say exactly what made the difference, but it was a level of flavor you can’t get at a buffet, and I was very satisfied. I was able to relax in the large public bath, and I also enjoyed the open-air bath in my Room at a leisurely pace in the morning. It was different from what I had imagined—in a good way—and I’m glad I stayed. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    The meals are truly delicious.

    I’m not really someone who can judge whether an Onsen is good or not (lol). But the meals are delicious every time and truly impressive. It seems very popular, but there’s no parking—still, I hope you keep up this level of food for years to come.

    We had a wonderful time.

    Away from everyday life, time passed slowly—I was able to enjoy such a relaxing stay. I fully enjoyed the open-air bath in the Room. The seasonal cuisine was also very delicious. The staff’s service was polite and pleasant, which made me very happy.

    Solar panels are...

    We stayed as a couple. When we arrived, we were surprised that the entrance was the same as that of a large facility. After parking, we were guided to the detached annex “Yuuyake Koyake.” Through the large window, the first thing we saw was an enormous solar panel array!! That alone really dampened our mood. We were told it had nothing to do with the Accommodation, but it was still very disappointing. All of the meals were delicious. The staff were also very friendly, and we had a great time. Since it was an annex building, it was quiet inside, but I wish there had been a separate entrance as well. It was noisy and crowded with group guests.

    Onsen Trip with My Wife

    I booked the only available Room with an open-air bath, but the Room I was given was completely different from what was shown as available, which was disappointing. Also, these days a 50-inch TV is standard, but this one was around 31 inches. Even at home I have a 50-inch TV.

    All staff members are wonderful.

    Although many of the staff are young, everyone greeted us with a smile and was very kind, suggesting an excellent working environment. Their strong business may be part of the reason. It felt like a classic example of a company where a positive cycle is in motion.

    Makes you want to come back.

    A very large accommodation that seems to have been renovated over the years. The room has an open-air bath, but to fully enjoy all the baths, you may want to stay with the purpose of relaxing at the accommodation. The meals were also very delicious, making me want to visit again.

    Enjoy seasonal dishes throughout spring, summer, autumn, and winter.

    The first time I stayed, the food was so delicious that I immediately made a second reservation. In autumn, dishes feature matsutake mushrooms, and in winter, there’s seasonal kuje-shabu hot pot—both hearty and satisfying. The flavors are excellent, and the presentation evokes the charm of satoyama (countryside), making it a feast for both the palate and eyes. For breakfast, you can choose between Japanese or Western options. The dried horse mackerel served with the Japanese breakfast is thick and exquisite. The Western breakfast features clam chowder and bread that were absolutely delightful. The baths offer various options, and soaking while enjoying views of the sunrise over satoyama was a luxurious experience. The staff provided impeccable service during both visits, creating an incredibly comfortable stay at this accommodation. It’s conveniently accessible by car or via public transportation with shuttle service available—highly recommended! I look forward to visiting again in spring or summer to enjoy their seasonal cuisine for those times of year as well!

    I visited for the first time recently. As soon as my car arrived, a staff member came to assist, and I was impressed by the warm and attentive service from all the staff throughout the facility until I was guided to my room. The tasting corner before dinner was helpful in choosing drinks for the meal. Dinner was served at a perfect pace, with each dish brought out while observing our dining progress, allowing us to enjoy both the food and its explanations at a relaxed pace. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, and having coffee after the meal was also a nice touch. The private bath had a spacious interior with features like reclining baths that were very comfortable; however, since it was reserved in the morning, it felt cold inside, and we had to reheat as the indoor bath water temperature was still low. The "Pino" ice cream provided after bathing added an extra delight! The room itself had a calm atmosphere that made it easy to relax, and even the private bath in our room was excellent. Everything we could think of wanting during our stay seemed thoughtfully prepared here—I would love to visit again!

    I knew it was part o...

    I knew it was part of the Yumeno-i Ryokan group, and they were connected, allowing us to use the open-air bath in the main building. Although Yuyake Koyake seems to have been built some time ago, it was well-maintained and clean. We stayed in a room with views of persimmon trees, a pond, and mountain village scenery, enjoying a relaxing time in the open-air bath. From 4:30 PM at the lobby, there were complimentary tastings of Japanese sake and wine as well as soft drinks available at the café—a great service. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented on elegant plates that delighted both our eyes and taste buds. My parents-in-law also booked an adjacent room and were very pleased with their stay.

    It was quiet and relaxing.

    The main building, Yumenoian, was a large accommodation, but Yuyake Koyake is located in the annex with limited rooms and guests, allowing for a quiet stay. The cypress open-air bath attached to the room was slightly old but had a charming atmosphere. We chose a smaller meal course, but it was still quite plentiful for us. Each dish was carefully prepared and very satisfying. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay; however, if we had to point out something, the small table in the Japanese-style space next to the bedroom was low compared to the chairs provided and slightly inconvenient. The chairs were also not very relaxing in design—perhaps floor cushions or traditional Japanese seating would have been more comfortable.

    Family Trip

    Highly-rated accommodation on the internet. We planned our trip to stay in the popular room (Yamabuki). As expected, it was a wonderful room where we could relax and enjoy the onsen. Each dish served during meals was incredibly delicious. What stood out most was the exceptional hospitality—from the warm welcome upon arrival, guidance to our room, and attentive service during meals. The thoughtful attention to detail and kind gestures were truly remarkable. Having visited many ryokans, this level of service left a lasting impression. It became a memorable trip for us.
