    We had a relaxing stay!

    We chose this Accommodation to recover from summer fatigue. It was truly quiet and relaxing, and the Onsen was comfortable and helped soothe our summer tiredness. The meals were delicious, and all the staff were kind, so we had a very pleasant stay. However, by coincidence... an earthquake alert sounded in the middle of the night, and there was an earthquake. Thankfully it wasn’t serious, but I felt that if there had been some announcement from the Hotel about the situation when the alert sounded, we would have felt more at ease. Thank you very much for taking care of us. We would love to visit again if we have another opportunity.

    Family Trip

    We made a Reservation for two Rooms. One Room had an issue with the air conditioner, so I deducted a star. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. Thanks to the Diamond benefits, we enjoyed sparkling wine at dinner and a late check-out, which allowed us to relax.

    I was able to relax quietly.

    We stayed here as a couple in our late 50s. Since all Rooms are separate villas, we were able to relax quietly without hardly running into other guests. Both the in-Room bath and the private reservable bath were excellent. Dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the portions were just right. The person who seemed to be the proprietress and took care of our meals was very courteous, even seeing us off at the end. All of the staff greeted us with smiles and cheerful hellos, which made our stay very pleasant. We had the best Obon holiday. Thank you very much.

    The Ultimate Relaxation Time

    This hidden-gem Accommodation was a bit hard to find at first, but thanks to the clear directions we received, we arrived safely. Once you know the way, it’s simply a matter of turning off the main road onto a side street and heading downhill. We came in a large vehicle, and the road was no problem. After arriving, we were warmly welcomed; starting with greetings from the proprietress, our relaxing stay began. The Room was spacious, and the semi-open-air bath was also large, with a calm view surrounded by bamboo groves. With the soothing sound of flowing hot spring water and birds and insects as background music, we didn’t even turn on the TV—we just quietly enjoyed the scenery. Because it’s so close to nature, thoughtful measures against insects were also in place. Meals were served in a private dining room; they kindly accommodated even detailed requests, and everything was wonderfully satisfying—we were truly impressed. We would love to visit again. They kept waving goodbye for quite some time until the very end, which warmed our hearts. Thank you so much for such a genuinely relaxing stay.

    It was a very comfortable Accommodation with a high level of satisfaction. In particular, the hostess and staff provided service with just the right sense of distance, which made our stay truly pleasant. My father, who turns 95 this year, was also in great spirits. We will definitely visit again.

    A Highly Satisfying Accommodation

    We weren’t able to use the private terrace this time, but the Room was made up of two connected spaces with no partition, creating an open and airy atmosphere filled with soft light from the windows. It was very spacious, and we were able to relax wholeheartedly. The warm hospitality from the proprietress and all the staff was truly wonderful. Even in our casual conversations, we could feel their kindness, and throughout our stay we enjoyed a calm and comfortable time. The carefully prepared, delicious meals were also outstanding—an indulgent and happy experience that left both our hearts and stomachs full. When we mentioned that this was our 40th wedding anniversary trip, they kindly offered a heartfelt celebration. Their thoughtfulness deeply moved us. We could enjoy the semi-open-air bath in our Room as many times as we liked at any time, at a leisurely pace. The spacious private bath also felt wonderfully open and refreshing, leaving us relaxed in both body and mind. It was truly a lovely Accommodation—one that made us sincerely think, “We want to come back again.” Next time, we would definitely like to use the private terrace.

    We stayed here to celebrate a birthday and our wedding. The staff provided excellent service, and both the food and the celebration cake were delicious, so we were very satisfied. Receiving a birthday gift from the Accommodation as we were leaving also became a wonderful memory. This is an Accommodation we would like to stay at again.

    It was amazing!!!

    This Accommodation was simply outstanding. With only a small number of guest Rooms, it was very quiet and relaxing. The open-air bath in the Room was especially amazing, and it washed away my everyday work fatigue and stress. The meals were also excellent and truly delicious. The flavors were generally light, yet each dish made the most of the ingredients and tasted wonderful. All of the staff provided very pleasant service. Thank you for two wonderful days.

    I’d known about this Accommodation for quite a long time, and finally got to visit. I thought it might be old, but that wasn’t the case at all—the Facility was clean and well maintained, everything was spotless, and it was very easy to use. The Room felt more spacious than it looked in the photos on the website. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept like a log. I’m also glad I could get lymphatic drainage at my preferred time! Both dinner and breakfast were absolutely delicious. From check-in through meals, the staff member who assisted us provided such pleasant service with a wonderfully steady professionalism, so I was able to relax completely. At dinner, they kindly left the wasabi until the end so I could put it on my rice! The bath was clean as well, with a perfect temperature—I went in several times. They also had small items like you’d find at a shop (a heel file, collagen face wash, etc.), which made me quietly happy. When I tried to do some work at night and use the free Wi‑Fi, I didn’t know the password and ended up calling the front desk late—but they promptly brought me a QR code with the password. Thank you for your help! Next time I’d like to visit with my family as well—thank you in advance!

    All staff provide exceptional hospitality at this Accommodation.

    Thanks to the warm hospitality of the proprietress, the attendants, and everyone at the Accommodation, we had a very comfortable stay. The head chef’s heartfelt, carefully prepared dishes were also wonderful. (The Accommodation’s special chili miso recommended by our attendant was delicious.) The timing of each course was perfect for us. The birdsong was soothing as well. This is a small-scale Accommodation that treats each guest with great care—an Accommodation like this is one I hope will become more common. Thank you very much for everything during our stay. It’s an Accommodation we would definitely love to visit again.

    It was an excellent Accommodation.

    The Shuttle Service, pickup, and drop-off were courteous and excellent. All of the meals were delicious, beautifully presented, and colorful. When I mentioned that I don’t drink alcohol, they kindly replaced the aperitif with juice. The Room had a semi-open-air bath, so I could enjoy it little by little as many times as I wanted—perfect for an Onsen lover like me. Since each Room is separate from the others, I was able to relax without worrying about the surroundings. It was my first stay here, but I will definitely return in autumn and winter.     It was really great.

    The building is a bit old, but it is well maintained and kept clean. The Room is in a separate annex, and there is a somewhat long staircase. Housekeeping was thorough, and we had a very comfortable stay. The Onsen bath in the Room was excellent in both water quality and temperature, and I ended up soaking many times. The meals were just right for me in both seasoning and portion size. The staff were also very courteous and attentive. It’s a quiet location—not really for strolling around—but perfect for a relaxing stay-in getaway.

    The hospitality was excellent.

    The stairs up to the Room were a slight concern, but the hostess was very attentive, and the hospitality at mealtimes—both in service and in the food itself—was more than satisfying. The private bath was spacious, and we also enjoyed the in-Room hinoki bath. We even met two charming squirrels that popped their faces out onto the balcony. We would definitely like to return in another season.

    We stay here every y...

    We stay here every year to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday, and no matter how many times we visit, it’s an Accommodation that always makes us want to come back. Once again, we are grateful for the wonderful hospitality, exceptionally delicious meals, and spotless guest room. We will visit again for next year’s anniversary.

    Surrounded by nature

    We were able to relax and unwind surrounded by nature. We were welcomed by the song of Japanese bush warblers, and a squirrel even appeared on the balcony. It was wonderful to soak in the Onsen in our Room while taking in the greenery at a leisurely pace. The food and service were both excellent.

    I used this place for my proposal.

    We stayed in a detached guest room with a private open-air bath. Among the various ryokans we researched, this one had excellent reviews and ratings overall, making it perfect for a proposal. As expected from the reviews, it was indeed a wonderful ryokan. They took care of everything from holding onto our photos and ring to preparing cake and champagne, providing exceptional hospitality from start to finish. We felt at ease and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. As mentioned in other reviews, squirrels appeared as if celebrating with us, which made us very happy! They don't come over the fence to this side, so there's no need to worry about that. The proposal was successful, so we will definitely return for an anniversary trip! Thank you very much!

    The hospitality is excellent.

    This was my first stay here. Although I arrived a bit earlier than planned, they promptly picked me up at the station by car after a quick phone call and even dropped me off at a tourist spot on my way back. The staff's attentiveness during meals was exceptional, and they kindly brought the wine I couldn't finish to my Room with a glass. The meals were delicious and perfectly portioned. The Room was clean, and above all, the natural hot spring bath had perfect water temperature—I think I bathed 6 to 7 times! The quality of the spring water improved my metabolism and left me feeling rejuvenated. It turned out to be an amazing holiday at the end of the year. Thank you very much!

    Enjoy a relaxing stay in a quiet detached space.

    We stayed as a group of three women this time. With only six rooms, the accommodation offered a perfect sense of privacy without feeling the presence of other guests. The semi-open-air bath in the room allowed us to fully enjoy the onsen, and we could also reserve the outdoor onsen for 50 minutes free of charge once during our stay. Meals were beautiful Japanese cuisine that embraced nature, and all staff members were very kind. The shuttle service from Izu-Kogen Station was prompt with no waiting time, allowing us to relax completely without stress. One suggestion would be to have a dedicated handwashing area for the toilet, as it can feel awkward using the sink when someone is bathing in the room's bathroom. Other than that, everything was perfect. Thank you very much!

    A Hidden Retreat of Hospitality

    We traveled to Izu-Kogen by train this time due to someone in our group being prone to car sickness. Upon arriving at the nearest station, Jogasaki Kaigan Station, we requested a shuttle service from the accommodation. To our surprise, they not only took us to the accommodation but also dropped us off at nearby sightseeing spots. The staff kindly held onto our luggage, allowing us to explore the area hands-free and at ease. The accommodation is about a 15-minute walk from the station, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. From its entrance alone, we felt it would be a relaxing stay. As soon as we stepped inside, we were welcomed with tea and traditional Japanese sweets before being guided to our room. Our luggage had already been brought into the room—a thoughtful touch that made us feel cared for. Our room featured a semi-open-air bath with constantly flowing hot water. While some of the facilities were slightly dated, everything was clean and comfortable overall. Dinner was served in a private dining room on the first floor. The meal focused on Japanese cuisine and was absolutely delicious throughout. In addition to fresh sashimi, the wagyu steak was outstanding as well! The rice served at the end of dinner stood out for its rich aroma, perfect texture with just enough bite, subtle sweetness—it truly felt like premium quality rice. Besides having an en-suite bath in our room, there was also a private open-air bath available within the facility where we could unwind and enjoy peaceful moments. This was our first time staying here but it turned out to be such an enjoyable experience filled with tranquility and relaxation! We would love to visit again someday!

    Perfect hospitality until the very end

    Stayed for one night from Sunday to a public holiday. Upon arriving at Izu Kogen, we spent time at the Teddy Bear Museum until check-in. When we requested a pick-up, they kindly said, "Please wait at the Teddy Bear Museum, and we'll come to pick you up." After arriving at the accommodation, we were served cold tea and Japanese sweets in a private room while waiting for check-in. Once our room was ready, we moved without encountering other guests despite overlapping check-in times. The room was a Japanese-style room with an open-air bath and offered views of the ocean—a perfect atmosphere to forget daily life. Being summer, mosquito coils were placed in various spots, adding a nostalgic summer scent. Both dinner and breakfast were served with great care and excellent hospitality; every dish was delicious. As I was pregnant and wanted to avoid raw food, they thoughtfully adjusted part of the menu based on my prior request. On departure day, they provided shuttle service to Jogasaki Coast. During the ride back, we received a call from the accommodation informing us that I had left something behind in our room. They assured us it would be delivered to Izu Kogen Station for pickup on our way home—a seamless resolution handled incredibly quickly after checkout (thank you so much!). From start to finish, their attentive service made this trip truly pleasant. We look forward to staying here again!

    I have stayed here multiple times and am always impressed by the spotless, well-cleaned room. Both dinner and breakfast were prepared with seasonal ingredients and were absolutely delicious. The staff's hospitality was excellent, and I was deeply comforted by the visit of adorable squirrels. Thank you for celebrating my husband's 60th birthday as well.

    We enjoyed a relaxing and peaceful stay.

    I hadn't been able to visit recently, but I managed to take a break from work for a long-overdue stay. I've visited several times before, and I'm always welcomed warmly and quietly. This time, feeling a bit worn out from work, I decided to completely relax. Upon arrival, I immediately enjoyed the private bath and then spent the rest of my time relaxing in the Room. Having a semi-open-air bath attached to the Room is truly wonderful—you can hop in whenever you feel like it. After soaking in the bath, I sipped on beer provided in the Room while watching squirrels play on the terrace right outside—pure bliss. The meals were also meticulously prepared and absolutely delicious. Even for someone with a big appetite like me, there was more than enough food. They always put thought into incorporating seasonal ingredients into their dishes; this time, the lobster and vegetable ankake left a lasting impression on me. They even handled my forgotten items with great care, ensuring that my stay was refreshing until the very end. I'll definitely be back again!

    Perfect Accommodation for a Cozy Stay

    A 40-year friendship trip with three female friends. Enjoyed the Onsen in the room that we could use as many times as we liked, a private bath available for free once, delicious meals served in a private dining room, and shuttle service for each room—everything was perfect. We had a wonderfully relaxing time. Special thanks to the staff at the dining area who served us with heartfelt care and perfect timing, always with a smile. There was nothing to improve about this accommodation. If I must mention something, one of my friends loved the miso served during our meal and kept saying she wished it were sold at the shop! Thanks to all the staff, we were able to recharge both our minds and bodies. Thank you for taking care of us!

    A heartwarming accommodation.

    After a busy period of raising children and work, my husband kindly found this accommodation for us. It was our first trip together in a long time! We escaped the hectic daily life, enjoyed nature, indulged in truly delicious meals in just the right portions, and relaxed in the onsen. Falling asleep without worrying about the clock was such a luxury. Staying in a private room allowed us to avoid meeting others and truly unwind! The temperature of the onsen in our room was perfect and so soothing. It was incredibly healing. We even got to see squirrels as we had hoped!     We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with the Anniversary Plan. The hospitality of the accommodation staff, the onsen, and even the squirrels were truly soothing. We enjoyed meals crafted to highlight natural ingredients, and my wife was delighted by a surprise whole cake with a personalized plate and half bottle of sparkling wine. Upon departure, we even received a commemorative gift, making it an unforgettable trip. We would love to visit again!
