  Top-notch hospitality

  My regular accommodation in Miyazaki. Stayed for 2 nights from 12/31, but had to book the 1/1 stay via phone as online reservations were not available. Compared to my first stay 7 years ago, the number of guest rooms seems to have decreased, and it felt quieter than expected for New Year's. The food at "Ichiki Issou" was as delicious as ever, with special New Year's Eve soba and festive menus that were exceptional. The "Tamayura no Yu" bath was also fantastic, though some guests' manners were disappointing. While this is not the hotel's responsibility, it would be nice if they could attract more considerate guests through unique selling points. When I mentioned "Miyakan" as my destination at the airport car rental shop, I received a delighted smile in return. I hope this hotel continues to represent Miyazaki proudly for years to come.

Regarding Tamayura no Yu, we deeply apologize for any discomfort caused by other guests' bathing manners. While we appreciate your understanding that it was not the hotel's responsibility, we will continue to improve our facilities and guidance to ensure a more relaxing environment for all our guests.   I hope you do your best.

  ① During check-in, the staff continued speaking one-sidedly without pausing even when interrupted with questions. ② Only two towels (one large and one small) per guest were provided, which was surprisingly limited in variety. ③ When trying to fill the bathtub, the water level did not rise properly. Upon inspection, I found that the filter in the drain was installed upside down, causing interference with the rubber stopper and allowing water to leak out. ④ There were no cotton pads among the amenities, which was surprising. ⑤ Although I paid for parking at check-in at the hotel front desk, it was processed separately from accommodation fees (with a separate receipt), which was inconvenient.

We also apologize for any inconvenience caused by the parking fee payment process and are considering measures to make it more seamless for our guests.   ① River view room surcharge: 1,100 yen per person ② Check-in at 3 PM (Note) If you request check-in upon arrival at the hotel at 2:30 PM, early check-in fee is 1,100 yen per person ③ The Onsen is overcrowded and unclean The changing room floor was wet and soggy ④ Is the front desk staff local? The traditional Miyazaki dialect is still ingrained, and the hotel's label is valued more than the guests
