    Returning guest

    The breakfast service was quite slow despite the large number of staff, which was disappointing. The taste has also declined compared to before. While the view from the North Wing balcony remains stunning, the ongoing U.S. military base construction in front slightly detracts from the experience. The potential noise from a future airfield is a concern for us moving forward.

    Kanucha Bay: Returning After 10 Years

    This time, I stayed at the Hotel for the first time in 10 years. Ten years ago, my Room was upgraded to the Orchid Wing, where I could enjoy a view of the ocean and spend my time peacefully. When I mentioned this in my booking request this time, they kindly upgraded me to the same Orchid Wing again, allowing me to relax just as I did 10 years ago. My thanks go to the booking staff. This stay was for 3 nights and 4 days with breakfast and dinner included. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and for dinner, I enjoyed delicious meals at different restaurants featuring Japanese cuisine, buffet-style dining, and Chinese cuisine.

    Second Stay at Kanucha

    I chose this site because it offered the best price and stayed for 3 nights and 4 days. (I booked golf directly through Kanucha's website.) The vast grounds with various buildings surrounded by a golf course and the sea provided a relaxing resort atmosphere. Although the cart moved quite slowly, which felt a bit unsatisfying, the nighttime drive was enjoyable as I could feel the breeze and escape reality. However, on rainy days, even though raincoats were provided, moving around by cart was challenging, so I had to settle for breakfast nearby, which was disappointing. As for improvements: being an older building, the roof of the outdoor cart parking creaked in the wind—repairs would be appreciated. The toilet door in my Room was hard to open due to poor fitting, and while stylishly compact, its sink caused water splashes every time I used it; also, it dripped due to poor sealing. Additionally, there wasn’t a place to hang used towels properly; reusing them felt inconvenient at times. Despite these minor issues (and I'm not particularly detail-oriented), I managed to enjoy myself with some adjustments and had an overall pleasant stay. Since there are no shops or convenience stores nearby, bringing snacks or essentials is necessary—I wanted something like Yunker when feeling unwell but couldn’t find such items at their shop. With plenty of ocean activities available during this season ahead, it might be perfect for those looking to relax!

    Relax in Okinawa

    It was early spring, so I thought it might not be crowded, but the rooms were almost fully booked. Because of this, the reception staff seemed busy, and unlike before when they would guide us to the room with a cart or car without asking, this time we had to request assistance to avoid getting lost on the large premises. The room was very clean and stylish. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a relaxing stay! As for meals, perhaps due to the crowd, there were broken items during cleanup after other guests finished eating. The cleaning seemed rushed without thoroughly checking for fragments, which showed a lack of consideration for those still dining. However, when we pointed it out, they responded politely and handled it well. For leisure reservations as well, perhaps due to their busyness, we had to confirm multiple times from our side. Still, their polite response made up for it in the end!

    The Room is a bit dated but spacious, and the bathroom was quite large and comfortable. The meals were not highly anticipated, and unfortunately, they felt ordinary considering the high price.

    I used a Plan that included a rental car and breakfast. The staff at the rental car reception, the reception desk, the cart service, the cleaning staff, and the restaurant staff were all kind and provided excellent service, making it a wonderful Hotel. I made a Reservation for morning yoga as an option, and under the guidance of a friendly instructor, I was able to fully experience the morning air of Okinawa, and I was glad I signed up. Since I stayed for two nights, I had both the buffet and the Japanese set breakfast, and they were both very delicious. I will definitely use this Hotel again when I visit Okinawa.

    Well, well...?

    It's not fair to compare, but the hotel I stayed at the day before was just too good... This hotel has slightly older Facilities, but it's still a good hotel. What I was curious about is why check-in is done in the lounge, but check-out is not? You have to line up with everyone else!? The lounge was quiet, with unlimited alcohol and soft drinks, as well as treats like financiers and jelly. The quiet atmosphere was particularly enjoyable.

    The best.

    I visited for the illumination, but I was deeply moved by the many beautiful landscapes from sunset to sunrise while riding the cart, and the illumination was also very lovely. For breakfast, I had a Western-style meal, but there were also options like seafood rice bowls, allowing me to enjoy a satisfying meal and time. I would definitely like to visit again.

    It was a peaceful New Year.

    I chose to play golf in a warm location for New Year's. This was my fourth visit. The Facility is old, but it was well-cleaned, allowing for a pleasant stay. Since I often opt for a Multiple Night Stay, being able to choose eco-friendly cleaning was very convenient. For dinner, I selected both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, and both were delicious. The nighttime illuminations were also beautiful. However, the golf course had many beginners unfamiliar with the rules, and the greens seemed not well-maintained due to care challenges, which might make it less suitable for competitive golfers.

    The First Family Trip to Okinawa

    ① Chose this Property prioritizing these three points: - Plenty to do within the Hotel - Enjoyable for both children and adults - Reasonable pricing even during peak seasons Riding a cart to move around the vast grounds of the golf course itself felt like an event. On the flip side, the distance between each Facility was a bit far... but the illumination and location were particularly excellent. The Room and amenities were flawless. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and everything was delicious, though the dinner options, both in terms of restaurants and menus, felt a bit limited. Considering the large number of guests, the staff worked efficiently and greeted everyone with smiles, making the stay pleasant. It would be perfect if there were more Facilities to enjoy within the grounds during winter. Next time, I plan to visit during a different season to enjoy golf and marine activities. Lastly, thank you for accommodating the Room change due to an increase in the number of guests right before our stay.

    First Time in Okinawa

    I absolutely love resorts, and I was drawn to this location surrounded by the sea and trees—it was the perfect choice. I was even upgraded to an executive room, allowing me to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view from the hilltop. I truly appreciate all the arrangements made via email. I was able to spend a wonderful New Year’s holiday, marking the start of a happy year. Thank you so much for the detailed services, including the illuminations, cart transportation, and meals. When I showed photos to my friends and family, they immediately recognized it as Kanucha Resort. Next time, I’d love to visit with a group!

    A resort to explore with carts and trolleys

    It is already very appealing, but we are grateful for the attentive support in responding to consultations such as wanting to have this kind of stay or wanting to visit this place (for sightseeing). It is by no means a vast property with a hands-off approach (laughs). All the staff, including those at the restaurant, are friendly, making it a Hotel that makes you want to visit again. Thank you for everything during our stay. We look forward to your hospitality again when we visit next time.

    For two consecutive years during the Christmas season

    From November to mid-February, the large-scale illumination at Kanucha Resort is so impressive that it might become your top choice. The illumination is available from 6 PM to 11 PM, and as you wander through the vast grounds adorned with light installations, smartphone in hand, time flies by in an instant. The photos I took during my visit became the most cherished souvenirs for me.

    Repeat.

    Kanucha Suite Repeat. The Room was spacious, and this time, the kids were thrilled to use the jacuzzi, which we couldn't enjoy last time due to the rain. The breakfast in the Room felt special and was so plentiful that we were completely full! We had fun riding the cart to the beach and the dinner venue at night! We made the Reservation early, so we got a great deal and were very satisfied. We would love to stay in the same Room next time!

    Chinese cuisine is...

    I chose to have Chinese cuisine with dinner included in my stay, but it wasn't delicious. A buffet might be a safer choice for dinner. However, the environment with a great view and the opportunity to enjoy the jacuzzi is recommended for bath lovers! It also helps to relieve the fatigue from golf. I was lucky to see fireworks by chance, and the illumination on the property grounds was also lovely.

    Stay after 20 years

    I visited for the first time in 20 years. The overall Facility has changed significantly since then, but the Room remains spacious and overall luxurious. I enjoyed golf, the meals were delicious, and the service was courteous. However, I felt that communication with the front desk staff was slightly challenging. Nevertheless, I had an enjoyable stay, so I consider it within an acceptable range. It is a very nice Hotel where you can experience a resort.

    First Time at Kanucha

    The Room was spacious and surprising. The illuminations at the Christmas event were beautiful. The snow falling on the church was nice, but I wished it had lasted a bit longer. The cart available for use on the premises was fun.

    I was truly refreshed at the hotel that met my expectations. The service at check-in was excellent, and I was very satisfied with the room upgrade. The meals were also very delicious. It was a hotel that I definitely want to stay at again next time.

    Very satisfied with the Room and meals! Unable to experience marine activities.

    I wanted to enjoy my first scuba diving experience, so I chose this hotel where I could apply for scuba diving. Unfortunately, I received a notification the evening before that the scuba diving was canceled due to weather conditions. The trip was mainly for scuba diving, so I was surprised by the straightforward response. I asked if it could be rescheduled for the next day, and they accommodated my request. However, it was canceled again the following day. Personally, I was glad I had found and reserved a marine shop in a different area where scuba diving was possible. As travelers, we don't have a sense of the local geography or weather, so I would have appreciated some advice from the marine shop, like suggesting areas where it might be possible. On the day, swimming at the beach was also canceled (even though it was sunny...), so I enjoyed the buffet and stayed in the room. I stayed in the Azalea Suite. The room's atmosphere and view were absolutely wonderful. The buffet included in the plan exceeded my expectations! I enjoyed various Okinawan specialties (steak, shabu-shabu, taco rice, etc.) and Halloween sweets. Personally, I appreciated that it was available until late. Traveling by cart was also fun. Some facilities, like the co-working space, were charged, and I think I might have considered a long-term stay if they were free.

    This is my second st...

    This is my second stay. I stayed in the Kanucha Suite, but honestly, the room itself didn't feel much like a suite... However, it was clean. There were many restaurants, so I didn't get bored with the meals. The lounge was always crowded, and for some reason, many people occupied the sofas by sleeping on them. One disappointing aspect was the coin laundry. Since I have children, a coin laundry is essential, but perhaps due to the holiday season, it wasn't repaired, and for about two days, only one out of seven dryers was operational. Also, the drying capability of the dryer was too low. There are drum-type washer-dryers, but the lint filter and drying filter were so dirty that it was appalling. I thought it would be nice if there were paper towels or alcohol available.
