    Everything was excellent.

    Thank you very much. The parking lot was also underground, so I could access my car at any time. The Room was very spacious, and the view was of course amazing. It has the wonderful qualities you would expect from a Resort Hotel. Although it is not a new Hotel, it is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned, so I had a comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious, and I ended up eating a lot. I highly recommend this Hotel.

    Your First Trip to Tokushima

    I chose AoAwo Naruto Resort for its convenient location when visiting the Otsuka Museum of Art. In my Room, I enjoyed sparkling wine while admiring Van Gogh’s “Sunflowers”—it was a wonderful moment. I also had fun with the Awa Odori dance experience. It became a great memory of my first trip to Tokushima.

    It felt like I was abroad.

    The Hotel staff were the kindest of any Hotel I have stayed at. While we were eating, they offered to take a photo for us, which became a wonderful memory. I couldn’t find where the hair ties were.

    Completely satisfied with the meals, bath, and views! Only one Room had an issue with the TV.

    Our family of six adults and one child stayed here on a trip, using three Rooms. The staff were very attentive and the service was excellent, making our stay truly comfortable. The dinner buffet featured a tuna carving show right in front of us, which both adults and children loved. The sashimi and seafood—such as yellowtail and large Spanish mackerel—were delicious and highly recommended. There were also many local specialties like udon and Handa somen, and the freshly fried tempura (including Awaji Island onions and wakame) was outstanding—we were very satisfied. For breakfast, we could choose between a Japanese or Western restaurant; we chose Japanese this time. The Japanese option seemed more popular so there was a short wait, but we knew in advance so it didn’t bother us. There are large public baths on the 1st and 8th floors, where we could fully stretch out and relax. On the 8th floor “Citrus Bath,” sudachi citrus was floating this time, and the soothing aroma helped us unwind completely. The weather was great in the morning as well, so being able to watch a beautiful sunrise became a wonderful memory. The only disappointing point was the TV in one Room: out of the three Rooms we used, only one had very few channels available, possibly due to reception issues. The other two Rooms had no problems at all, so it may have been limited to that one Room. Aside from that TV issue in one Room, everything—the meals, baths, views, and especially the warm hospitality from all staff—was excellent at this Hotel. We would love to stay again.

    Outstanding hospitality.

    We stayed to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We arrived by car, and I was surprised at first that the porter was from overseas, but he was very kind and attentive, which made us happy even before entering the Hotel. At check-in, we had made a mistake with our dinner restaurant Reservation, but the front desk staff kindly changed it for us. Also, we requested an additional birthday bouquet, and it was beautiful—my wife was very pleased. We are also grateful to the woman who assisted with our anniversary arrangements when we contacted you in advance. For dinner, we enjoyed French cuisine. All of the service staff were very pleasant, and we had a wonderful meal. Thank you. The building is older. The Room was kept clean and comfortable to use. The large public bath felt dated, which seemed disappointing for my wife. Overall, it is a Hotel full of hospitality, and we had an enjoyable stay. Thank you.

    Seasonal rates are higher, but the views are spectacular.

    The rating is based on a comparison with luxury Hotels on a 5-point scale, but my overall satisfaction is 4. It didn’t reach 5 because the service felt a bit overpriced. In any case, the views are absolutely spectacular. Hospitality is average, but breakfast was satisfying. If your budget allows, you can also enjoy excellent food and wine at the French restaurant. I couldn’t upload all the photos of the Room, but it was comfortable and met my expectations. Prices in high season are fairly high, so don’t expect the same level of hospitality as top luxury Hotels in central Tokyo. That said, there were no real negatives, and you can definitely enjoy your stay.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    It was a wonderful Room with a panoramic ocean view. The Room was spacious and very comfortable. It was also great that we could enjoy free drinks at the first-floor restaurant. In the evening, we were able to watch Awa Odori, and seeing it up close for the first time was truly moving. The dinner buffet had an impressive number of dishes with great variety, and it was excellent. The tuna carving show was fun as well, and we enjoyed the sushi too. For breakfast, we could choose between the restaurants on the 1st and 2nd floors, so we were able to enjoy different options on different mornings. In particular, making our own sandwiches on the 1st floor—with many choices—was really enjoyable. Since there is a bus stop in front of the Hotel, you can visit Otsuka Museum of Art and see the Naruto whirlpools even without a car, but please note that buses are infrequent and may run late. One downside of the Facility was that it felt a bit cold due to centralized air conditioning throughout the building.

    A Long-Awaited Stay at AoAwo Naruto Resort

    It was my first stay since September two years ago, and the service remained excellent. The onsen and room were clean, comfortable, and provided a pleasant experience. Thank you for kindly accommodating my request to upgrade the French dinner on the day of arrival. However, I may have had too high expectations... The main beef dish was tough and disappointing. Other dishes were very delicious. Next time, I plan to stick with the standard menu but upgrade only the meat dish. That said, as always, I felt that the hospitality of this hotel's staff is outstanding. It remains one of the accommodations I would like to stay at again if given another opportunity.

    For family birthday celebrations

    This year, my son's birthday fell on a weekday, so after work, we decided to take a short trip and stay nearby for one night with my son and mother. We initially planned to relax in a Japanese-style room, but upon being shown to the room, my mother mentioned that her knees hurt and she preferred not to stay in a Japanese-style room. After consulting with the front desk, they kindly prepared another room with beds for her. My son and I enjoyed relaxing in the Japanese-style room. For dinner, we made a reservation for French cuisine. Since it was the Christmas season, there were many guests; however, both the front desk and restaurant staff provided excellent hospitality. It turned out to be a very satisfying little trip. I would love to use this service again in the future. Thank you very much!

    I had a very relaxing time.

    We visited as a couple to relax in the Onsen after the New Year. The Room was clean and comfortable. The meals were satisfying, with a delicious dinner that left us full, and the breakfast buffet was also very tasty. We will definitely come again! Thank you very much.

    Excellent

    This was my first stay, and I was impressed with everything. The food, the staff's hospitality, and the New Year's events were all absolutely satisfying. I wondered if there had ever been a place where I enjoyed myself this much—probably not. My heartfelt thanks to the staff for their efforts. Truly wonderful—applause!

    The exterior felt a bit old, but it was a warm Hotel filled with hospitality. The interior was complex, but it turned out to be good exercise. The meals were delicious, and the options were enjoyable. I also used the spa services and had a very satisfying 2-night, 3-day stay. Thank you very much!

    The charcoal-grilled dinner was truly delicious, both the meat and seafood. I stayed in the Gogh Room, but I think it would have been even better with a bit more of a Gogh-inspired atmosphere.

    The facility was satisfactory, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Additionally, as most of the guests were Japanese, it was quiet and very pleasant. Although many of the staff were foreigners, they spoke Japanese, making everything smooth and convenient.

    A highly satisfying suite.

    Stayed in the Japanese Suite. It was a spacious Room with a great ocean view. The female concierge staff on the 7th floor was professional and wonderful. The bath exclusive to 7th-floor guests also had an ocean view and felt very clean. However, I felt there was room for improvement with the 8th-floor observation bath and the first-floor open-air bath. The 8th-floor bath felt small for a Hotel of this size, and cleanliness could be improved. The open-air bath on the first floor was partitioned with something resembling vinyl sheets, which were dirty and noticeable. Other than that, everything else was excellent!

    It was great!

    We stayed in the accommodation with four generations of our family, with my 93-year-old mother leading the group. We split between a Japanese-style room and a Western-style room on the top floor. The staff were very kind and pleasant. My grandchild participated in a work experience as lobby staff, guided by a wonderful lady, and worked hard. Thank you for taking care of us.

    What a spacious Hotel!

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. We enjoyed the full ocean view from the room and mentioned how it would have been even better in summer. I would definitely recommend this Hotel for families. However, since the property is large, it was a bit challenging for me to walk from the parking lot to the front desk and then to the room due to my leg issues. Although making a separate Reservation for meals was slightly inconvenient, they were delicious. Since it was close to my birthday, I also appreciated receiving complimentary cake and drinks—thank you! The staff were friendly, and I think this is an excellent Hotel overall.

    The Onsen and the food were both excellent.

    I decided to stay here for one night as I wanted to visit the Otsuka Museum of Art. Since the first day was a closed day, I chose to stay the night before. On closed days, the express bus from Osaka does not stop at the Hotel, so I got off at Kosoku Naruto and took the reserved Shuttle Service to the Hotel. However, it might be a bit confusing to find the pick-up location from Kosoku Naruto to local roads unless you carefully read their website. Following a suggestion from the Hotel, I upgraded my Room in the main tower for an additional 5,000 yen, which was an excellent decision. The spaciousness and Facility were very satisfying; however, it was unfortunate that neither the mattress firmness nor pillows suited me well—I realized after my stay that they offer various pillow options. The food and Onsen were more than satisfactory. I would love to visit again!

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    This is the best Hotel I have ever stayed at during my travels, including both Hotels and Ryokans. The Hotel and Room were spacious, with large, clean beds. There were two baths—one on the upper floor and one on the lower floor—and breakfast was available in two styles: Western and Japanese. It was a delightful experience. Since I stayed for two nights, I could enjoy various services, among which the wakame udon served at lunch was absolutely delicious. The amount of wakame on the udon was astonishing! I wanted to try renting a bicycle as well but ran out of time... I will definitely visit again next time! Looking forward to it!

    It was a wonderful time!

    A family trip starting from Tokushima Airport. We enjoyed a relaxing stay in two spacious connecting Rooms. The amenities were L'Occitane, and the hairdryer was ReFa, which delighted my daughters! The attention to detail from a female perspective was outstanding. The French dinner was excellent in both atmosphere and service. The dishes highlighted the natural flavors of the ingredients with perfect balance, leaving everyone—from our adult children to us nearing our 60s—completely satisfied. The Room's bath was spacious, but we opted for the open-air bath. The water temperature was just right, helping us unwind after a long day. With shampoo, conditioner, cleansing products, lotion, and even moisturizer provided, it felt so convenient that you could come empty-handed. For breakfast buffet, we chose Japanese cuisine. Dishes made with plenty of vegetables, fresh fish rice bowls, desserts using Naruto sweet potatoes... everything was delicious. Although it was just one night’s stay, we had such a relaxing time. This is definitely a Hotel we'd love to visit again! Thank you very much!

    My mother was delighted.

    I stayed for one night and was very satisfied. Since I mentioned that my elderly mother often uses a wheelchair, we were kindly offered a more accessible room (it was also lucky that it was during a less busy weekday). I truly appreciated the thoughtful consideration. Additionally, we were able to make a reservation for a painting experience that my mother could enjoy, and we also watched an Awa Odori dance show. These activities added more memorable experiences beyond just staying and dining at the Hotel, which meant so much to my mother who has difficulty moving around. The Room amenities were excellent, with convenient mirrors for makeup and even chairs and buckets in the bathroom so my mother could bathe comfortably without needing to visit the large public bath. The bed arrangement allowed us to watch TV on a big screen while relaxing—this was highly rated by us as well! The meals were all delicious, served on beautiful tableware. The customer service stood out as exceptional. If I pass through Naruto again, I will definitely stay here. Thank you very much!

    It was a wonderful Hotel with a spacious sea view from the top-floor Room. I chose the buffet meal, which had a wide variety of options, including an impressive tuna cutting show, and it was delicious. The Awa Odori dance show was also enjoyable as everyone danced together. If I had to mention one thing, having a massage chair would have been nice. It’s a Hotel I would love to stay at again.

    We stayed as a group of three friends. Thank you very much. We enjoyed a French dinner, which emphasized the natural flavors of the ingredients and was absolutely delicious. The location provided great access to Naruto Whirlpools and the Otsuka Museum of Art, making it a relaxing and enjoyable trip with beautiful ocean views.

    The cloakroom staff ...

    The cloakroom staff provided very clear explanations. The staff greeted us warmly even when passing by in other areas, which left a great impression. The meals were delicious, and the breakfast buffet had an impressive variety. The sweet potato soft serve was particularly memorable. The baths were always clean, and the free shuttle service to the airport and station could be reserved, making it a very satisfying trip.

    Relaxing Onsen Hotel

    This Onsen Hotel allows guests to enjoy all facilities, except the French restaurant, in comfortable indoor wear and slippers, offering a truly relaxing experience for Japanese guests. Families with small children can also have a great time here. We hope this timeless style remains unchanged. It was such a delightful stay!

    A Trip for Two with My Mother in Her 70s

    I booked a plan that included tickets to the Otsuka Museum of Art since my mother wanted to visit. For dinner, I was torn between French cuisine and Japanese cuisine, but we decided on kaiseki at the Japanese restaurant "Naruto." The dishes, including matsutake mushroom dobinmushi and fresh seafood, were delicious with beautiful presentation that was a feast for the eyes. After dinner, when we returned to our room, we heard loud sounds from outside. Stepping onto the terrace, we were surprised by fireworks right near the hotel. It was an unexpected treat that delighted my mother. We also enjoyed an Awa Odori performance. Having only seen it on TV before, I was deeply moved. The men's dance was powerful while the women's dance showcased graceful hand and foot movements. Even children danced joyfully—it was wonderful! The music and performers' calls were full of energy. The room had a beautiful ocean view, spacious layout, and cleanliness that made it very comfortable. There was a ReFa hair dryer in the bathroom along with L'Occitane amenities. The refrigerator contained two 500ml bottles of water as well as one 2-liter bottle for tea or coffee—a thoughtful service! We enjoyed relaxing with tea while gazing at the ocean from our room. I usually bring extra water when traveling because it's often insufficient during trips; however, thanks to this preparation in our room, I didn’t need to use what I brought home in my suitcase. Although there was quite a line during check-in, the staff member who assisted us left a positive impression. When asking about breakfast options—Japanese buffet or Western buffet—I wondered if we needed to choose one on-site each day but learned both could be tried if desired! This unexpected flexibility made me laugh though ultimately my appetite couldn’t handle both buffets at once despite wanting to try them all! This stay offered many delightful surprises and memorable experiences—I would love to return again someday! Thank you very much!

    We stayed here for m...

    We stayed here for my 6-year-old daughter's birthday. The hotel offered plenty of activities for children, such as festival games and job experience programs, keeping them entertained for three days without getting bored. The Room had a large window with a stunning view of the calm Seto Inland Sea, which was very relaxing. For dinner, we chose both French cuisine and the buffet; both were incredibly delicious and impressive. It’s a wonderful Hotel that caters to families with children while also providing satisfaction for adults. Thank you very much!
