    Satisfied with the spa and meals.

    Although the building is old, it is well-maintained with spacious rooms. Meals are Italian and satisfying in both quality and quantity. The onsen facility is dated, and the outdoor bath is surrounded by walls, which is a bit disappointing. The water has a smooth texture that leaves your skin silky and your hair soft. It’s an excellent onsen that provides a pleasant experience. The aroma massage at this hotel's spa is exceptional, and I make a reservation every time I stay here. This hotel makes you want to visit again.

    We deeply appreciate your hospitality.

    This is my second visit. Not only is the Onsen in Ureshino wonderful, but the hospitality at this Hotel is also exceptional. I have significant dietary restrictions, and both a few years ago and this time, they carefully adjusted the meals for me, which were all delicious. I am deeply grateful to the head chef. I thoroughly enjoyed Italian cuisine after a long time. I would love to visit again in the future; thank you in advance for your hospitality when that time comes. I truly appreciate your thoughtfulness.

    Onsen Indulgence

    The atmosphere was calm. I enjoyed the smooth onsen and was able to relax. It was an onsen-filled experience and absolutely wonderful. It was a big mistake not to reserve dinner in advance, but the restaurant you recommended was delicious. Thank you very much!

    Warm hospitality

    The personalized and attentive service made for a very comfortable stay. The Onsen, known for its skin-beautifying properties, was also delightful. I was fully satisfied with the premium shampoo and other amenities. As expected from an auberge, the cuisine was delicious. I look forward to staying here again.

    The hot water and the meal content are excellent, but...

    The Onsen here is excellent. It makes your skin smooth. As expected, it is one of Japan's three great beautifying hot springs. The meals were satisfying in both content and volume, but the service staff seemed to be inexperienced, possibly student part-timers. We almost got interrupted twice while eating. During breakfast, they were receiving setting instructions at the next table. Considering the price of the Hotel, I would like them to be better trained before being put on the floor. Another disappointing point is the guest room. You can hear the noise from the next Room clearly. I wonder if this is acceptable for a Hotel. The building has a very charming atmosphere, and the front desk staff were very accommodating, but the above two points were disappointing.

    Wonderful

    This is an excellent hotel in every aspect. The food is delicious, the room is clean, and the Onsen has a smooth, lotion-like water that is good for the skin. I really like this hotel and have decided to stay here whenever I visit Ureshino Onsen.

    It became a memorable experience.

    We visited for our 35th wedding anniversary trip. We were surprised by the steep slope at the entrance, but the antique appearance and calm interior were wonderful. The attentive service was impressive, as expected from the top-ranked property in reviews. The hot water was smooth and excellent. Both dinner and breakfast were just the right amount, and thank you for the celebratory plate. It became a great anniversary. Next time, we would like to bring our daughters and stay again.

    I went there on a recommendation. It was very nice, and the food was delicious. This time, I didn't come with him, but when my eldest son turns twenty and celebrates his coming-of-age ceremony, I consulted about purchasing the non-alcoholic sparkling wine we had here at night, as it was delicious and he will still be 19 and unable to drink. They responded kindly. I would like to stay again.

    It was a wonderful hotel located on the heights of Ureshino, exuding a classic charm that sets it apart from onsen ryokan. The cuisine was enjoyed very comfortably and deliciously under excellent service. We highly recommend making a reservation with dinner included. The bath had an excellent spring quality, providing a smooth bathing experience.

    Hmm, unfortunate...

    From the photos, it looks like a lovely atmosphere, but in reality, signs of aging are noticeable in places. The large public bath and open-air bath could use a bit more refurbishment. It was a Plan with breakfast only, but despite the Reviews and reputation, there was nothing particularly noteworthy about the content. The staff are doing their best, so it was disappointing in various ways.

    Starting with the we...

    Starting with the welcome drink and continuing seamlessly until checkout, the atmosphere and decor of the Western-style mansion were in perfect harmony... The 12-hour stay was truly wonderful and moving. The meals and private bath were particularly delightful. My companion repeatedly lamented not wanting to leave (laughs). Thank you to everyone who provided such wonderful service.
