    The cuisine is exceptional! Other aspects might be less impressive.

    The stay was affordable, making it reasonable in terms of cost-performance, but the interior felt like a love hotel, which made it hard to relax. However, the cleanliness was excellent. The view is nice, but due to black patterns on the reinforced glass, you need to step outside to fully enjoy it. The Onsen is small and old but has good water quality. When a large insect entered the Onsen, I called the front desk and a foreign staff member promptly handled it with kindness. Up until this point, I would rate it 3 stars; however, dinner was exceptional with well-balanced service from the staff that earned this place 4 stars for me. Breakfast was average, but if this restaurant were near my home, I would definitely visit multiple times. If you're coming for food alone—it's worth it; otherwise, it's just as expected for its affordable price range.

    Beyond expectations

    I was really looking forward to it, and it exceeded my expectations—absolutely wonderful! The meals and service were especially outstanding. I highly recommend choosing a plan with meals included. I will definitely visit again!

    Unexpected Benefits of a Canopy Bed

    I stayed at the Hotel with my female friend for a chat-filled getaway. I chose this Hotel because I had always dreamed of sleeping in a canopy bed, and it did not disappoint! The bed was adorable, and we took lots of photos. When it was finally time to sleep after talking so much, I realized how the canopy provided privacy by blocking our view of each other’s faces—what an unexpected benefit! Located on a hilltop, the Hotel offers stunning views as you enjoy dinner. We watched Atami's cityscape transition from sunset to night while savoring fresh local vegetables and delicious kinmedai (golden eye snapper) from Izu. The staff were all incredibly warm and hospitable, making our stay very comfortable. Next time, I might bring my husband along! However, driving your own car may not be ideal—it’s best to take a taxi from the station.

    Before our stay, we ...

    Before our stay, we received a confirmation call and were advised to use a taxi, which was very helpful. Climbing that slope with suitcases would have been quite challenging. The building's hallway had an old Showa-era vibe, but once inside the room, it was satisfying with a balcony included. The meals were delicious and very satisfying. The young Japanese female staff member was cheerful, pleasant, and provided excellent service.

    Requests regarding the Facility

    When I arrived, I was disheartened by the thought of climbing these stairs. However, when I called to have my luggage picked up, someone kindly came to assist me, which was very helpful. Since my room did not have a bath, I had to go to the onsen in the basement using only stairs. Having bad legs and being exhausted upon arrival made this quite challenging for me. Details like these are not mentioned when booking online, so there are many things you can only find out after arriving. If these two major challenges could be resolved, I would consider coming back again. The onsen itself was clean and charming with beautiful stones around it; however, there were no handrails installed, which made it a bit difficult for me. I'm not sure who designed this place—perhaps someone young? It seems they may have overlooked that everyone ages or might face injuries at some point. That said, the breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious; it was clear that high-quality ingredients were used (I run a cooking class). It left me wanting to try dinner next time as well! I hope you can meet my expectations in the future.

    I really like it.

    This was my second stay. Just like last time, I had a wonderful experience. The meals at the restaurant were all delicious and very satisfying. Although I stayed alone, I could relax at a window-side seat. The Room had a tropical Resort Hotel style, giving me the feeling of being on an overseas trip. I would love to visit again as a treat for myself. For those driving, please be cautious of the steep slope at the end!

    Thank you for allowing us to stay for our 1st anniversary and for helping with the surprise preparations! The steep slope made the journey a bit challenging, but we were able to enjoy sightseeing in Atami and had lots of delicious food—it was amazing! Thank you so much!

    The food was delicious.

    The dinner Western cuisine was delicious. The breakfast Western cuisine was ordinary, similar to the American style of urban Hotels. The open-air bath in the Room was disappointing as it used reheated water, so I did not use it. The large public bath was also not a natural hot spring flow but a circulation system. Since there were few bathers, the temperature was high, and there was no faucet to cool it down. I had no choice but to repeatedly pour water from the cold-water bath using a bucket. Please allow for temperature adjustment.

    It was a great accommodation.

    Great value for money. The food is delicious, and the Room is satisfying. There's even a small sauna, and the thrilling journey to get there adds to the experience. The sauna would be perfect if it were a bit hotter (above 90°C) and the cold bath slightly colder (around 14°C). A small request: It would be great to have reclining chairs like those on a terrace for outdoor relaxation. Also, lockers in the bath area for storing keys would be appreciated.

    In a stylish room with an ocean view, I felt healed. The Italian course dinner was delicious and showed attention to detail. Breakfast was served in the room, which was a nice service, and I chose Japanese cuisine that had the satisfying taste of Atami. I enjoyed a fulfilling solo trip by soaking in the Onsen. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality and service. It was a hotel I would like to visit again.

    It can only be described as magnificent.

    I stayed for the first time in summer and found it very comfortable, so I made a Reservation again for the Atami cherry blossom season. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt farewell, this Property is once again an exceptional Hotel. The thoughtful meal arrangements, the surprise in the Room, and the heartfelt hospitality were truly moving. I was amazed by the high level of responsiveness from each staff member. Both the dinner and breakfast were delicious, with meticulous presentation that reflected the chef's dedication. I will definitely make another Reservation.

    The natural flow of the Onsen has greatly helped in the recovery of my sprained ankle.

    I always enjoy staying in the annex with the Onsen flowing directly from the source in the Room. This time as well, I was able to relax completely thanks to the Onsen, the cuisine, and the thoughtful care of the staff. Actually, I had sprained my ankle a week ago and was still in pain when I visited, but after recuperating in the Onsen, I was amazed to see visible improvement in my condition. I love the quality of the spring water, so I was very grateful to be able to visit at such a perfect time. The cuisine was prepared with great care in every dish and was absolutely delicious. The beef and chicken, in particular, were exceptionally tasty, even satisfying my husband, who is very particular about flavors. Additionally, the white butter that the staff whipped up with such effort was so delightful that I asked for seconds and was thoroughly satisfied. The warm hospitality of all the staff touched our hearts, and my husband and I are already talking about visiting again.

    We appreciate the hospitality and thoughtfulness.

    The service and the taste of the food were excellent. I was very happy to see my name embroidered on the napkin and the words "Happy Birthday" written on the plate since it was my birth month. I was impressed by the attention to detail, and it was a hospitality that made me want to visit again. The Room was also a cute Room that made me feel like I was at a resort. This is not a complaint, but a suggestion for improvement if there is room for it. First, there was no handrail at the entrance to the bathtub, which was difficult for the elderly. I thought perhaps it is mostly used by younger people. It felt scary to try to enter with one foot. Second, the height of the bed is high, so it also felt scary for the elderly when getting off as their feet couldn't touch the ground. I thought it might be from the perspective of young people and that the elderly might not use it much. Since it was such a wonderful space, I wrote this as a request.

    Hotel overlooking Atami

    We are an elderly couple and walked from Atami Station. The distance is about 1.5KM, but the last uphill is tough. However, upon arrival, the view of Atami city, the sea, and Atami Castle is breathtaking and takes away the fatigue. The Room is spacious, with a twin bed with a canopy, a balcony, and a wonderful view. The welcome drink was champagne, which lifted our spirits. The Onsen is accessed by descending steep stairs without an elevator, and it is a small-sized water-added and circulation-type Onsen, so for those of us who prefer natural hot springs, it was not quite satisfactory. However, it was nice to have plenty of towels and chilled bottled water available. The Italian dinner did not feature particularly luxurious ingredients but was very delicious. We ordered Japanese food for breakfast, and the white rice and dried horse mackerel were very tasty. We are grateful to have experienced such wonderful meals and views at this price, but it was unfortunate that there was a boiler outside the Room we stayed in, and its smelly exhaust gas entered the bathroom, making for an uneasy night. All the staff members were kind and accommodating.

    This was my first visit. - Overall, I felt that the service from everyone at the hotel was excellent. It was very pleasant. - I thought the room was a bit dimly lit. Also, it was cold when I arrived, and it took quite a while for the room to warm up. - The onsen was small, and the temperature was low, so my body didn't warm up at all. I hurried back to the room and took a bath in the room. Although the bath in the room is not an onsen, it was hot and very nice. - I was relieved to have plenty of water to drink, and all the drinks in the refrigerator were free. - The meals were delicious. However, it was a bit disappointing that there were no mushrooms for dinner this season. It's nice that you can choose to have breakfast in the room. - There is no shuttle service to the hotel, so I walked from the station. The uphill path to the hotel was a bit tough, but walking back was the right choice. This is because the traffic jam was so bad that pedestrians were faster than cars. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

    The meals were more delicious than I imagined.

    Since the New Year's holiday was long, I tried to make a reservation in nearby Atami. As a result, I was able to relax, the food was more delicious than I imagined, and I had a great time. Thank you very much. P.S. The staff are friendly and pleasant. The slope on the way is steep and narrow, so drivers should be careful and use low gear. The bath is an ordinary onsen. The room had an ocean view where you could see the sea. Meals are served in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. You can also see the sea from here.

    2-night stay (2024/12/28-2024/12/30)

    This was my first stay. Positive points: - The Italian course dinner was wonderful and delicious. - The French toast for breakfast was also delicious. The view from the restaurant was superb. - The hotel staff's service was warm. - The room was clean and comfortable. The TV was also large at 65 inches. - The onsen large bath was not crowded and was comfortable. - The juice/beer in the refrigerator was free. The coffee at the front desk was also free. - There were ducks and goats. - There is a shopping street nearby. Slightly disappointing points: - I used a Japanese-style room, but could not see the sea from the room. (I was aware of this in advance) - To go to the onsen large bath, you have to go outside once. - Since there is only one door between the room and the outside, it felt cold. - The access road just before the hotel is narrow. I encountered two oncoming cars when checking out.

    I was looking for a ...

    I was looking for a nice property in Atami where I could stay with no meals included, and I ended up here. I chose the simplest room, but it was more spacious and comfortable than I expected. The shared onsen is in the basement, so there's no view, but when you step out onto the terrace, you can see little ducks swimming. However, if you're mainly interested in the onsen, it might be better to choose a room with a private bath. Since it's located on a hill, walking there was a bit challenging, but I didn't think it was necessary to take a taxi. The view was amazing because of the location. If you're walking, two round trips a day might be the limit (haha).

    I thought the meals were delicious, but

    When I moved the cushion on top of the duvet at bedtime, I found an empty skin packet, presumably used by a previous guest, on the sheets... It was difficult to sleep comfortably. I was grateful for the accommodation of changing meal times on the day, and since the food was delicious, it was very disappointing.

    Wonderful Hotel, satisfied.

    The room, meals, and service were very satisfying at the hotel. We stayed at a hotel with an open-air bath in a separate building, and the staff was courteous, with plenty of towels prepared for us. The Italian course was also wonderful, with excellent hospitality, and all the dishes were very delicious. My elderly parents were also very satisfied. The French toast at breakfast was fluffy and delicious.

    The hotel was small and had a calm atmosphere. The room was spacious and very clean. The amenities were nice, and the drinks in the refrigerator were free. The Italian dinner made with ingredients from Atami was very delicious. The cost performance is excellent. I recommend it. Two women were able to relax. The bath is an Onsen, but since we heard there was no open-air bath, we went to Ajiro Station and enjoyed an open-air bath there. It is on a hill, so it is a 5-minute taxi ride from Atami Station. The view is wonderful. Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

    Overall, it was a Hotel as per everyone's Review.

    I was able to spend a relaxing time at Atami Onsen for the first time. The room was spacious, and although I usually have trouble sleeping, I fell asleep quickly once I lay down on the bed, and it was very restful. Knowing that there were no shops around the hotel and that the weather was bad, I brought DVDs and a Fire Stick in advance and truly relaxed in the room. The L'Occitane amenities were also nice. The service was rather friendly. The foreign staff who assisted us in the morning were both polite and very pleasant. Regarding the large public bath, it didn't feel like I was fully enjoying Atami Onsen. As some people have reviewed, the water temperature was low, and since it was a day when the temperature suddenly dropped, the air conditioning in the changing room was too strong and it was cold. However, it was clean, and it was nice to have towels in the bathroom. Since I couldn't fully enjoy the onsen, I stopped by for a day-use bath after checking out before heading home. As for the facility, it would have been better if there was direct elevator access to the large public bath. Since we moved from the room in pajamas or bathrobes, it was a bit uncomfortable to get off on the lobby floor. I made the reservation with the intention of relaxing in the room and enjoying the meals, and it met my expectations, so I was very satisfied. The food was delicious, thank you for the meal. It was a property I would like to visit again if I have the opportunity.

    Relaxation

    The room had a great view of Atami Castle and the sea from a hilltop, making it a very nice Hotel. The staff checked in advance if there were any ingredients on the menu that we couldn't eat, allowing us to change the menu, which was great. Disappointing points: Since there are not many rooms, the bath doesn't need to be that large, but the changing area is too narrow.

    The hospitality is excellent!!

    The exterior and interior were all lovely. Every staff member provided excellent service, making our stay very comfortable. Of course, we were also very satisfied with the room. The Italian dinner was particularly delicious, especially the grilled chicken and pumpkin soup. The red wine recommended to us was easy to drink and left us impressed. At the Japanese breakfast, both of us had second helpings of rice! We visited for my husband's birthday and our wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be the best celebration. We would love to come back to see the ducks and goats again. Thank you very much!!

    I was able to relax and unwind.

    I went on a relaxing trip with my girlfriend. We were torn between a Western-style room and a Japanese-style room with a private entrance, and we decided on the latter. The TV in the room was large, and since there were no neighboring rooms, we turned up the volume and enjoyed watching dramas and playing games. We didn't know there was a CD player, so we talked about how we should have brought some CDs. The hot spring was not too hot, just right, and I was surprised to find the shampoo and conditioner were Mikimoto and L'Occitane! They're usually too expensive for me to buy, so I was grateful to use them. We went out for dinner, so we didn't use the restaurant, but breakfast was delivered to our room, and we could choose between Japanese and Western styles, which was helpful. It was quite a large portion, and even though we ate at 8:30, I wasn't hungry until 2 PM (laughs). The room, facilities, hot spring, and food were great, but the only downside is that it's quite difficult to get there without a car. It's on a hill, so you have to wind your way up a steep slope. We took a taxi this time, and even the taxi driver said it's tough for elderly people or those with mobility issues without a car. If the roads are clear, you can get there from the station with just one meter on the taxi, but if it's crowded, it can cost over 1,000 yen. However, the service was good, and we were really able to relax. If I have the chance again, I'd like to stay in a different room next time!
