    As always, great.

    This was my first stay at the Marunouchi Hotel in three years (as the Hotel staff told me). It previously had a calm atmosphere, with furnishings that were both practical and tasteful, making for a very comfortable stay, and it has become even better. I like Japanese-style bathrooms with a separate washing area, so I was very pleased that it had been changed from a unit bath. If I have the opportunity again, I would like to stay here.

    Satisfied

    During our 2-night, 3-day stay, we were out the whole time for a concert, an exhibition, and a theme park, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the Hotel—but we were satisfied with everything. Thank you very much.

    A Hotel we often stay at

    This is a convenient and good Hotel. After using the bath, a sewer smell came up from the drain for a while, so I closed the bathroom door and went to sleep. By morning, the smell had eased. I wanted to use the café, but although it was not crowded, I was not allowed in because a group was coming in. It was disappointing that I couldn’t try the apple pie. It would be nice if takeout to the Room were possible.

    Satisfaction at any time

    I stayed here to attend a live concert. I’ve used this Hotel several times, and I’m always satisfied. The front lobby has a solid, elegant design without feeling too formal, and everything feels clean, including the Room. This time I noticed that when I entered the Hotel from outside, there was an aroma-like scent that was very soothing. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant are all very pleasant. It’s also close to Tokyo Station, making it extremely convenient. When I visit Tokyo, I’d definitely like to stay here again.

    Relaxing

    It had been a while since my last stay. The location is very convenient. Since I arrived early, they stored my luggage until check-in, and I really appreciated that it had already been brought up to my Room by the time I checked in. They also stored my luggage after check-out; when I told the front desk, a male staff member nearby responded immediately and politely and took care of it, which made me happy. The bathroom had a separate washing area, so I could relax comfortably. It was also nice to have a scale provided. One thing to note: there was something like tissue stuffed into the door peephole. It was probably done by the previous guest, and I understand why. Do other Rooms have a peephole cover? Having one would feel more reassuring. In any case, it was a great stay.

    A Hotel that both train-loving kids and adults will love

    I have stayed here many times, and this visit was once again an exceptional stay. The Room overlooking Tokyo Station is truly one of a kind. The contrast between the historic station building and the modern skyscrapers is breathtaking. My train-loving son was absolutely delighted! With such a convenient location right by Tokyo Station, you can also reach cafes and convenience stores without getting wet in the rain. As we stayed for my birthday, we received a towel cake, champagne, and a heartfelt card, which made it an unforgettable stay. To celebrate my son’s promotion to the next grade, you also gave him a railway picture book and a message card—he was so happy. He still treasures them. The Room was spotless and very comfortable, making it another wonderful stay. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

    I’d love to make this my go-to accommodation.

    I stayed for two nights this time—my third visit. I was delighted that the items I requested last time were already placed in my Room before I even asked! In addition to the excellent selection of amenities and drinks such as tea, everything—from the glasses and teaware to the vanity area—was consistently coordinated with ceramic and glass, which I really appreciated. My favorite is the comfortable pajamas, along with the fluffy towels and slippers. The bathroom is easy to use, and you can enjoy a relaxing bath by adding the provided bath salts. The staff’s service is warm, and every detail that matters feels high quality—this is a Hotel I truly love.

    It was comfortable.

    The Facility was clean, and the service was pleasant, so we had a very comfortable stay. Below us was a full view of Tokyo Station, and my wife—who is a railway fan—was delighted. One point: the lighting at the sink didn’t illuminate our faces well, making it hard for my wife to apply makeup and for me to shave. At overseas hotels we’ve used, there is often a magnifying mirror, so we didn’t have this issue; however, we were told there was no magnifying mirror available to borrow that could be placed at the sink. This may be slightly inconvenient for older guests on a Multiple Night Stay. Also, there are no hooks at all outside the closet, which is inconvenient when you have many clothes or during summer when you sweat more. We chose a Plan without meals, but we tried the Japanese breakfast once. The rice and miso soup were not quite up to expectations, and the somewhat awkward response when I asked to charge it to our Room felt unpleasant and lowered my rating. At the bar, on the other hand, the bartender handled charging to our Room smoothly and pleasantly, and we had a great time—so that part was a bit disappointing. As with Station Hotel as well, being able to walk around Marunouchi and Yaesu nearby without going outside at all—even in storms or typhoons—is fantastic (lol).

    The location was excellent. It was a convenient Hotel for getting anywhere, which was especially helpful for seniors. The Room was a little small, so next time I will make a Reservation for a slightly larger Room.

    Excellent access from Tokyo Station

    Although it was raining, the elevator entrance with direct access from Basement Level 1 was very convenient. The Room is well stocked with tableware and amenities. Last time, I stayed in a Room on the station side and could watch the trains coming and going, but this time I was on the building side and the view was not as good. Still, thanks to the great location and the staff’s courteous service, this is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

    This is my go-to Accommodation in Tokyo—number one.

    After seeing a Review mentioning that train noise could be an issue, I emailed on the day of my stay and was given a Room on the 16th floor, one below the top floor. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend choosing a twin Room on the Imperial Palace side. The location, the atmosphere of the Room, and the furnishings were all excellent—this Hotel is close to perfect—and my stay was truly comfortable. I have already made a Reservation for a twin Room in October. If I had to be picky, I would have liked a wider selection for the Western-style breakfast. The Japanese breakfast menu, however, is well beyond perfect.

    It was a conveniently located Hotel.

    Direct access to Tokyo Station is incredibly convenient. The Room was comfortable, with a separate washing area. Breakfast was also great, with a wide variety of options. The partition between the sink/toilet area and the bed area is frosted glass, so when someone uses the toilet at night, the light leaks into the Room and wakes others sharing it. I would like this to be addressed.

    For stays in Tokyo, I always choose the Marunouchi Hotel.

    This time I couldn’t stay very long and was really only able to sleep, but I’ve stayed here several times and slept well again. The morning checkout was handled pleasantly with no waiting time, which felt great. The bathroom is spacious, so I could enjoy a comfortable shower before going to bed. With nightwear, tea, and amenities all well provided, it’s reassuring and helps reduce what I need to pack. Thank you.

    The open atrium was ...

    The open atrium was wonderful, and the amenities were well stocked. Some appliances in the Room were already switched on, so you need to be careful not to run them empty, and any rented items must be returned by yourself. The restaurant had a great view and the food was delicious. Thank you.

    The location and Hotel amenities were great.

    This Hotel is in an excellent location, just a short walk from the Marunouchi Exit of Tokyo Station. Shopping is available on the 1st floor and in the basement, which is very convenient. As it is a Hotel within a mixed-use complex, the underground parking lot was spacious, easy to use, and felt safe. Check-out is at 12:00, and parking can be used until 14:00; after that, it costs JPY 400 per 30 minutes, which is a reasonable system and price. For breakfast I chose Japanese cuisine; there were many small side dishes and everything was very tasty. I was also satisfied with the staff’s service. The room had twin beds and felt spacious overall, though other areas felt slightly compact. The bathroom and toilet were separated, with space allocated well where it mattered most, which was great. I also really liked parts of the interior design—some wood-grain accents, patterned carpet and chair fabric, wooden bed frames, and an arched ceiling detail. Being on the 10th floor meant the view was mainly nearby buildings, but that’s expected in central Tokyo. What disappointed me was the cleanliness of the bathroom tile grout and floor. There was some red mold in places along the grout lines, and the floor felt slippery. This point was quite disappointing as it’s something I always pay attention to when staying somewhere. Also, inside the kettle there were several strands of noodles left behind—possibly from a previous guest’s cup noodles or similar. It may be easy to miss, but I would like them to check more carefully. In particular, cleaning and maintenance of the bathroom and toilet should be easy to improve. It seems only natural that post-cleaning checks should be done by someone other than the cleaning staff responsible. Overall there were many positives—close proximity to the station, interior design that suits my taste (Facility), convenience for dining/shopping options (Facility), and good value for money given its location—so overall I thought it was very good.

    Cleaning

    The staff greeted me with lovely smiles every time I passed through the lobby, which made me very happy. The Room was neither too large nor too small, and it was easy to use. I stayed for several days and felt that the level of cleaning varied depending on the day. There was trash on the carpet, the cups by the sink were not replaced, and the used bath towel was left as is—are these not supposed to be changed daily? Another concern was that the face towels seemed worn out. I have stayed here several times, but this time there were quite a few things that made me wonder.

    A Hotel with views overlooking the Tokyo Station platforms from your Room

    My workplace is near OAZO, and I’d walked past the entrance many times, but this was my first time staying here. It was deeply moving to enjoy the Hotel view I’d always looked up at from the Tokyo Station platforms—this time from my room. It felt like a special experience unique to this Hotel. Late at night, I could look down on Tokyo Station after the last trains had departed, and it was impressive to see such a different side of it than usual. The Plan that includes access to Maruzen Marunouchi Main Store’s “Personal Lounge (3rd floor)” was also very appealing, and I enjoyed a relaxing time there with coffee in a quiet space. Buying a book and reading it right away also sounds like a great way to spend the time. The location within the building is convenient as well—just downstairs are a bookstore, convenience store, cafés, and restaurants—so I could enjoy both urban convenience and a calm stay. I was also able to soak in the bathtub and ease my fatigue, making for a fulfilling hotel staycation.

    It was very comfortable.

    I was pleasantly surprised that the Room had not only an iron and ironing board, but even a pressing cloth! The bathroom also had a separate washing area, so I could soak and refresh my tired body at ease. I felt that everything you’d find useful in a Hotel Room was provided from the start. Breakfast was outstanding in both variety and taste for Japanese and Western options—I ate so much from the morning. It’s on the pricey side at 4,500 yen, but I’m glad I stayed with breakfast included. It was a very comfortable Hotel, and I’d like to use it again when staying around Tokyo Station.

    I’m happy that I can choose between a Western-style and a Japanese breakfast. I always have trouble deciding. When I have enough time, I choose the Japanese breakfast. Both are very delicious. Thank you, and I look forward to staying again.

    The hospitality was exceptional.

    The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Perhaps because I had been staying at an overseas Hotel until the day before, the quality of the Marunouchi Hotel’s staff, food, and Room felt even more refined. It’s close to my workplace, so I’d like to stay again.

    We stayed for 2 nigh...

    We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days this time. My elderly mother wanted a Hotel near Tokyo Station, so we chose this Hotel. We arrived much earlier than the check-in time and planned to leave our luggage only, but we were told we could already check in. After a long journey, we were tired, so this was truly appreciated and a relief. It was great fun to be able to see the Shinkansen from our Room. When making the Reservation, I mentioned that the Shinkansen noise might be a concern and requested an upper floor. Thank you for accommodating that request. You can hear it, but it wasn’t loud enough to disturb our sleep. However, if you can’t sleep unless it’s completely silent, I don’t think a Room on the Shinkansen side would be suitable. Both my mother and I were exhausted from sightseeing and slept soundly. Also, I really wanted to try the Hotel’s apple pie, so we went to the restaurant. We were told it wasn’t available due to a reserved dinner service. When I asked if takeout was possible, they kindly offered to cut a whole pie for us since only whole pies were available at the time. Even though we came during a busy period, I was impressed by their flexible response. The apple pie had plenty of large apple pieces and was very satisfying. The cinnamon flavor was wonderful too. Lastly, the butter served at breakfast with Marunouchi honey in it was delicious. It was perfect on a croissant! Next time we stay at this Accommodation, I’d like to spread it generously on toast as well.
